Do not come here worst nail salon in the worldI hate my nails they look like a toddler did them then she wanted to charge me 55 dollars for a fill in when I paid 65 for the whole set that doesn’t even make sense. They don’t listen when you tell them you don’t like them and she wasn’t even trying to fix it I’m telling you don’t come here save your self
Ive gone here a couple times and honestly each time gets worse and worse. The atmosphere is great the people are very nice, the manicures just kinda suck. Most recently got a gel manicure, I started by saying I wanted to keep the length and the shape I like, my tech immediately whipped out some clippers and before I could say no started snipping away. After all said and done the gel was attached to my cuticles and lasted 4 days. When it peeled off it took the top layer of nail with it because it was so fresh. Not happy. The color was beautiful the application was very poor.
Great pedicure. Good availability. Nice atmosphere.
Got my nails done today. Worst experience I ever had. Technician soaked my feet and then wanted to start painting them. I explained that I wanted a full pedicure not a color change. He did not understand . I wanted a french...He still did not get it right. Wanted a gel fill in. They acted like I did not know what i get on my nails...I know I always get a gel fill in. ..They switched me to a lady. She acted like she was unsure how to do pink and white nails.. I will not use this place again. Prices are outrageous. 134 dollar for pedicure and gel fill in....
After being seated and waited for some one to do my manicure I realized how disgusting the courters were. Walked out
THE BEST ATMOSPHERE, PRICES, SERVICE. I HAD KAHN, SHE IS GREAT, MY 1ST TIME THERE. SHE MADE IT SO COMFORTABLE. I DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK TO SEE HER NEXT WEEK.
I have never had a bad experience until Monday 3/22/21. I went in for an Acrylic fill in and a repair. While doing the repair the nail tech put the file in between the acrylic and my actual nail and that did not feel to good.My biggest concern is at the end of my fill in my nails looked great but he decided that my tip ( which is actually on the receipt)was not enough for him. If I had not checked my account I would have never known that the amount had been changed on there end. I was told by the person who answered the phone that this happens all the time that is not acceptable 😒A repeat customer? No more. When I called to speak with the manager she wasnt in so hopefully I will receive that phone call and this matter can be taken care of.If you pay with a Credit/Debit card please check your account to make sure it matches your receipt.Very disappointed customer
I love this place great staff great prices I highly recommend will always go there to get my nails done
Out of the 3 full years I’ve gotten my nails filled at salons never once have I had a worse experience than the one I just had. The woman doing my nails cut every single finger with every different machine she used when doing my fill, she took forever, I originally had a square shape when coming in to get the fill and I left with a half square and half almond shape with no definition to the nail at all. When it was time to paint I just wanted to leave because the skin around my nails had so many cuts therefore I was in lots of pain.
Loved the ambiance and peace of this salon. I stopped in last Saturday for a color change as my normal Salon was busy. I liked it so much, I went back this morning to get my acrlic fill in with gel polish. I called the day before confirmed the price and the appointment for 9:30am.When I got there the receptionist was great l, helped me find the color I was looking for and overall just pleasant! My nail tech on the other hand was nice I guess the actual service was no. The sides of my nails weren’t filed down or filled in very well in fact you can still see my precious color. I told him what I wanted was there glitter color on top of just one finger. He insisted the color I choose was too light and I needed to do it for all. There was acrylic on my finger and I asked if he could get it off. He said once it dried it would come off. I’ve washed my hands over and over and it’s still there. The polish is allOn the sides. Got to the counter to pay he says $40 which wouldn’t have been a problem if I wasn’t told $35 the day before. He stated he charge me 3$ for cutting down my nail. How are you going to charge me more for less nail lol. You’re literally using less product. I’ve never had someone charge to file my nail shorter lol.
Great service and wonderful atmosphere, very relaxing. Had a moisturizing pedicure and gel poder nails.
The worst mani pedi of my **entire** life. Rough, unprofessional, unfriendly, and the results were TERRIBLE.Ive spent the last few months growing my nails out for a July 4th party and wanted to treat myself to a glam long nail manicure. The tech cut my entire pinky nail off before I pulled my hand back in horror.MY ENTIRE NAIL without even saying a word. Aside from one no-nail finger, the nails are significantly shorter on one hand than the other.I got french... some tips are 2mm, some are 4mm. Most are crooked. No wonder they keep changing the name of this salon. Ive been going there for 12 years but will NEVER go back. Absolutely disgusting.
Worst manicure I’ve ever had. My nails are so bumpy and uneven. Such a waist of money!
Great service, very relaxing! Will be back!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE! Henry did my pedicure and it was amazing!
First of all, I just moved to U.S and I was looking for a nail saloon and I found one where I had a terrible manicure in the brier creek area, the person that did my nails make them as thick as rock, it looked awful and ugly and I was extremely upset. When I was heading back home I saw the Princess Nails Bar and I decided to go in and I asked if someone could help me have my nails redone. As soon I got in and explained the matter, The staff was absolutely careful and professional. They quickly found a gentleman to help me and he fix the horrible job that the other Saloon did. He was extremely professional and did an amazing job! Nails should be thin, delicate and elegant and these are exactly what I got from Princess Nails! I will definitely be back there! Unfortunately, I forgot to ask the gentleman name but they just got a new client!
I believe his name is Tim.He did an amazing job and was professional he was very gentle. He is really good at his craft.I will be back.
I want to like this place but the mani pedi I had was mediocre. My feet were still calloused after the callous removal, the technician used his own long, yellowed thumb nails to slice at my flesh, several of my cuticles bled from the rough treatment and took five days for the pain and redness to subside. The pale pink polish was marred on several nails and is yellowing. I wont be back.
I have been coming to Princess Nail Bar for two years now! They have great quality services. They follow through with appointment scheduling. I normally get serviced by Kimberly or Chuck. I am very pleased with how I am treated. I am a regular customer and treated fairly. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!! This is a great place to get manicure and pedicures!!
Ive been there several times Ive always been one hundred percent satisfied great people and they do great work
First I walked into the salon was told to sit in a pedicure chair and waited for 10 minutes without anyone so much as looking at me. When my pedicure finally started the tech started by clipping off the top of my big toe while trying to trim my nail! This is when I should have made my exit but I had a wedding to go to and really wanted the dipping power on fingernails. I asked for a manicure and didnt receive one. The tech just started with the dipping process. They took off pretty much the top layer of my nail inprep but what is completely unforgivable is they dipped my UNWASHED HANDS DIRECTLY INTO THE JAR OF POWDER!!! I get the stuff is expensive and its not always practical to dump into a separate container but AT LEAST WASH YOUR CLIENTS HANDS FIRST!!!! DISGUSTING!!! SHAME ON YOU!! To boot you would think after 3 hours this would look better!!! When requesting from the manager that they clean up my nails they blamed me because my nail beds are short. Unbelieveable!!! It is also over priced. $33 for a basic pedicure with nothing. Most places are $25 and $35 if you want the scented stuff. Lastly this place uses the UV lamp for dipping powder......even the SNS (brand of powder) website indicates UV is a no no! They obviously do not know what they are doing. Avoid at all costs!
This is my favorite place to get my nails or toes done. The staff is so friendly and laid back. They are one of the places I miss most during the pandemic. The house pedicure is so worth your money, as are the upgraded options. This is my go to spot for SNS nails as well, they always do such a good job and there’s always someone working up front who’s willing to help me pick out a new color to try
I have been going to princess nail bar for years. I am always happy with my service. Kimberly is always a pleasure and her staff is great.
Very nice service and customer service.
I have been going to this nail salon since I moved to Raleigh years ago. Prior to Covid, I was always exceptionally happy with the services I received from any team member here at Princess Nail Bar. Today was my first visit since they’ve reopened and I can’t even begin to express how safe I felt. They have put so many procedures in place to keep their customers safe but were still able to provide one of the best services I’ve ever received. Vicki was absolutely fantastic. Professional and so friendly. She gave the best pedicure and checked on me frequently to make sure I was ok. I recommend this nail salon to everyone. Men and Women. They make you feel so welcome and comfortable.
My experience at this nail salon has been really awesome!! I called to make an appointment and the guest services team was very polite and helpful with all of my questions. When i arrived and mentioned my name, they remembered me and greeted me. I was taken right to a chair, offered a beverage and my nail tech came right over. Andy, my nail tech, recognized right away how poor of a job my last nail tech did and was sure to be gentle with my nails. He took his time, was very detailed and really did such a beautiful job on my nails! The price was more than reasonable for the amount of work he did! I will definitely be going back!! Ask for Andy!!!
🛑 stop looking for a new place to get your nails done . At Princess nail bar, Vicky will be there to tend to you nicely, neatly and accordingly ! Her work is soo good, my nails and hands felt brand new when she finished with me. Totally would recommend if you want a new nail tech with a great conversation. Vicky is my go to girl ! Females&males
Quick fast nd friendly
They are so nice here. The last time I was In the manager, Allan was very patient when I couldn’t find a color I really liked and helped me go through them until it was perfect. They offer you a drink when you sit down. They always ask before cutting or shaping your nail to make sure it’s the correct length and shape you want. They truly strive for their customers happiness.
One of the ladies, named Vicky that did my pedicure was very nice and professional would recommend going to her and this nail salon and the lady named Kimberly that did my manicure was very professional and made my nails look how envisioned them to be
I love Glenn Kathy and Sarah! They know me when I walk in and are always so nice. I leave with great nails every time!
The word appointment means absolutely nothing here. Dont be submissive, if you complain you may eventually get what was promised. Maybe. Good luck.
My first 1 time coming here! My manicure & pedicure was the absolute #BEST! Theyre #Great & Ill most def be back!!!
Good service...
Vicky! Youre a life saver!! You transformed my feet! They are perfect every time! Thanks girl!!
Dear KhanI really like my nails this time.. I’m reminded of how often you encourage me to choose a lil something different..;) a color not just Pompeii purple and not really what you’ll call on trend, however we’ll end up with something special compliments of a friend... who always listens and I’m glad you forget it just as quickly lol usually it’s just venting. I love how you exemplify courage and tenacity in your parenting in your ability to discern decide and do in your own life and choose to share a few of those moments in our time together. I’ve always felt your peace and patience that you’ve clearly practiced. I’m inspired by you your essence and beauty, I figured I’d take a moment to tell you as most folk don’t get the flowers while they can still smell them.Love,Freida
The people who work in this salon are extremely rude.. we weren’t greeted when we first arrived and then when someone finally spoke they asked if we had an appointment. Fast forward to after our service. It was 4 of us who got pedis they allowed us to wait in the seats while our nails dry until we were all collectively finished.. then another worker comes along and tells us we have to get out of the seats because they have to clean them.. when they had mannnnyyy other seats available. First and last time at this salon.
Came here roughly two weeks ago for a full set of acrylics with gel top coat. I got in on time and the color selection is good. Thats kind of where the good stopped. The nail tech used the e-file for all cuticle work. Absolutely no hand tools were used for my cuticles (which were not bad to start with). Tech didnt even dust my nails off from filing before applying acrylic. My thumbnails were done so wide they were actually painful for several days. The tech also cut me deeply on my middle finger (appropriate) with the drill while smoothing the acrylic out. When I started bleeding he said, this hurts me more than it hurts you. Really? When they were removing the tacky layer of the gel they put alcohol right on my deep cut which was still bleeding without any regard for the burning. I just blinked away the tears from my eyes watering. When I got home I actually had to chip acrylic out of my cuticle area with tweezers because they had been flooded with product.I called about 30 minutes after I left and said I needed to come back to have them repaired and the person answering the phone said the tech who did them would have to be the tech to fix them. I decided I didnt want them to touch my hands again so I never went back - They were willing, I just chose not to take them up on it.Im sure some techs are good but a cautionary tale - Just research the techs and find a good one. I went on optimism and got burned (and cut). Two weeks later my thumb nail gel has lifted and completely come off the acrylic. My cuticle that got cut is still sore and scarred from the deep cut. I will be going to another salon this week to have them redone. Yikes, yall.
I went there for a fill. They put my hands in super strong acetone soak that soaked off my acrylic nails...and then told me that i would have to pay for a full set. I was so shocked with the poor treatment, I left quietly after I realized that the manger was trying to scam me for their mistake. Never going back.
5 stars for Kathy & Allan! She does great with my pink & white acrylics. The first time I went though, I was seeking advice on my dipped nails always breaking..and the guy blamed it on the previous salon not doing it right. So he does dip again right only for two nails to break the next day. When I returned the next evening, Allan stayed after closing to completely redo my nails at no charge with acrylic saying theyre just too weak for dip - exactly the advice I was seeking. As long as you get a skilled technician, theyre fast with great results.
I paid $25 for a pedicure that only included a polish change. No lotion, no massage, no hot towel. I paid an additional $20 for gel polish. $45 to sit in their chair, have then take regular polish off, file my nails and put on gel polish.
Returned twice to have gel nails repaired. Do not waste your time and money. Gel nails should never peel. It should dry immediately, but not at Princess Nail.
Wish I didn’t have to give it a star. Spent $100 with tip for a pedi and gel mani. The gel was full of bubbles, different colors, thick in the ends, and did not even cover my nail in its entirety. My gel nails were ruined and chipped within two days and I had to remove them completely in day 5 because it was embarrassing to walk around with my nails looking that bad. There wasn’t much of a pedicure. It lasted around five minutes. My boyfriend couldn’t believe I left, went, and got back within an hours time. This place has the potential to be good, but they are missing the mark.
This was my worst experience at princess nails. I spent $86 on a crapy French manicure. The nails were completely uneven And not shaped appropriately. When I let the owner know he looked at me as though I Was not speaking proper English. I drive 45 minutes to this location because in the past the male technicians have been fantastic. Its truly sad that I had this horrible experience now I question their standards. I will not be recommending This location again.
A lot of pressure to upgrade service for additional fees. I felt like every aspect of the Spa pedicure was very rushed, didn’t see any difference even after paying for upgraded pedi. Stone massage was very minimal maybe two minutes total. Very disappointed. Have been here several times in the past and service is always inconsistent. Salon itself if newly renovated and beautiful but I will not return again as I was very disappointed with service.
No stars if I could. Walked in and was greeted rudely by a guy upfront. Asked if they sell their nail polishes, he proceeds to say “why you looking at that, you’re just wasting money” and laughed. I thought it was very rude, I literally just walked right out. How can you be rude to someone who’s willing to buy your products
Lovely atmosphere! I enjoyed my experience and I love my nails. Thanks!
Like any other nail salon, the quality of the service you will get will depend on the technician. The salon is very clean and the staff is very friendly; however some of them do not speak fluent English. I had a mani done and the technician started to cut my cuticles and she hurt me and made me bleed. I told her to stop cutting the cuticles but due to language barrier she continued so I had to remove my hands for her to understand. I didnt pay full price for the manicure which was greatly appreciated. I may still come back since the mail salon is close to my work and is better than the other nail salon in the brier creek strip mall !
I have been seeing Truk, when he was around for two years. I made an appointment, drove from my home in Durham, and he decided he did not want to do my nails. Very disappointed. He sent someone else to tell me. I was giving this place a chance after they changed ownership and my talented nail technicians left, but I’m done. I would suggest you find another nail spa with more professionalism. Very disappointed.
This was my first time coming to Princess Nail Bar and I will not be back. I had an appointment at 9am, they started my water for my pedicure and I sat there for 20 minutes while I watched 5 employees walk around and not acknowledge me. When I picked out my polish color, I was told that the brand I picked was “old” and to pick something else. My tech did not speak to me the whole time and wouldn’t tell me how to move my feet, but would force them how he wanted them. For the pedicure I got, I would not have paid that price again. Would not recommend.Update: my gel pedicure is already lifting after one day.
I have been to this salon twice now and let me just say I had nothing short of an amazing experience. The customer service is impeccable. I had no idea what kind of design I wanted on my nails, so I let the artist freestyle them and I cant stop staring at them. This is definitely my new nail place!!!
Quick and easy. Danny T did a great job with the basic pedicure! It was comfortable and clean
It was nice but 3 hours for a manicure and pedicure is too long!
I come here often and get my nails done by different nail techs everytime. Everytime I come here, I leave very happy with my nails. Everyone is friendly and does a great job. Kathy did my nails today and I love them!
They were so nice and experienced! They helped me get over my fear of getting my nails done! They look and feel great!
I always receive outstanding service from Princess Bar at Brier Creek. The technicians are very punctual, do excellent quality work, and are very professional.
This place deserves 0 stars.Worst pedicure Ive EVER recieved. In and out in less than 25 mins. Didnt get a foot scrub or a massage more of a light rub. I left with uneven, chunky nail polish and all over my toes as well and feeling super greasy. When I told the person up front before paying they said sorry and thatll be $35Left and had to wash all the oil off and repaint my toes myself.Awful customer service!!!
Went in yesterday for the first time outside had me like the picture dont match lol but after walking in this place was beautiful everyone was so nice the owner/manager he was dressed and had the flow of things going great all smiles no rush job this is my new go to for pedicure
Don’t recommend this place to anyone. I used to love it when it was Mani Pedi Nail Spa, but the new management and new technicians are not good at all. I got a gel manicure (like I always get) and four of my nails chipped within two days. I went back to get them fixed and they had a very rude attitude about it and slapped some more polish on my nails very quickly. My nails then chipped AGAIN the next day. I didn’t even bother to go back. I will never return to this place and you should just go ahead and save the time and money and go somewhere else!!
Con Artists! I went in for a polish change, as I already had a full set of gel nails. However, the technician filed off the polish, and then KEPT filing down until there was a thin layer of gel that could be pried off and said Oh, these are no good and pried them off! He claimed it was because they were bad quality, but they werent before you filed 90% of the gel away so you could charge me for a full set instead of a polish change. Crooks! Never again!
I have been here many times and the service is always wonderful.
Ive gone here several times - back when it was under old management and also had Revive Foot Spa next door. The environment is nice but can be very loud and overwhelming when its busy. The quality of your manicure and pedicure highly depends on the technician. Note - I dont think this salon always did the dip polish so that could be why it isnt done well as it could be a new technique for them. Their prices have gone up a bit. A mani/pedi used to be 56, now it is only 56 mon-thurs and 63 or something fri-sun.I have had great gel manicures here thats lasted 2 weeks, and I have had poor gel manicures that have lasted 1 day. The best technician in my opinion is Vivian. She is pretty quiet and not too talkative, but she is very good at manicures and pays close attention to detail. I think most salons are like this in that its very difficult to get a perfect manicure every time if you dont ask for the same technician. Overall, I give this place 3 stars. It is clean, prices are OK, nice environment, free beverages, but quality of services are hit or miss.
My experience with this spa was devastating. All nail spas that I have used charge $35.00 for gel dip and I feel taken advantage of at Princess Nail Spa because they charged me $65.00 this is absurd when all salons are less for this service.
Amazing job for my first time!
The customer service is amazing. Staff is very friendly.
2 weeks post dip nails placed - green fugue on 8 of my finger nails - NEVER go there
My GEL manicure lasted not even a week. It started chipping almost immediately. And $56 for mani pedi (but somehow after we were done it was $63). 👎🏼
This place has really good burgers
Very nice
Rude! Went to get nail repaired... the guy looked at me and turned his back to me and only said it would be 30 minutes.
Nice and clean!
Horrible service
