Thank you to Christi and Richard for your hard work and expertise. On August 14, 2021, my daughter and her new husband had the wedding reception of their dreams. Everything from walking through the door, which was breathtaking, to last call, which never felt rushed or pushed, was done efficiently and seemlessly. The hall was breathtaking and the food was deliciously amazing. We heard comment after comment all night. The decor and food were highly praised by all. Even our bartender was a hit. All of the employees were hard working, polite and friendly. The bathrooms were neat, clean, and beautiful. I really cannot say enough. If youre looking for a venue that is inclusive and beautiful with a high end feel, without high end pricing that has food that people will talk about for years, with staff that take care of everything for you so you can just enjoy your event, this is absolutely your venue.

Christi and Rich did a fantastic job for our wedding this past weekend. Everything was beautiful and clean. The food - on another level. I had several people come up to us during the wedding and comment that this is the best food theyve ever had at a reception. Seriously. Thank you!!

Beautiful event center! We were there for a wedding recently. Plenty of room. Hand sanitzers available throughout the venue and at each table. The food was very good. It ranged from spaghetti to the polish favorites of kielbasa, sauerkraut and pierogies! Yum!

Nice party center, spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. Nice place for smaller type weddings.

We cannot say enough about our wedding planning experience with Christi and Richard at the Belarusan Event Center! Christi and Richard truly are an amazing team - they go above and beyond to make your dreams become reality. They listen to your ideas, provide visual decor examples, prepare multiple unique dishes for a menu tasting, respond quickly and they’re very accommodating. We had our wedding over a month ago and our guests are still raving over the delicious food (everyone said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding), gorgeous decor, service and amenities. It’s the perfect space for any event, wedding, corporate conference, family gathering, etc. We highly recommend having your event at BEC because they’re passionate about customizing your event, they’re extremely thoughtful and throughout the planning process they felt like family. We will always remember everything you did for us, thank you for making our wedding celebration so special!

I cant recommend this venue highly enough. If I could give it 10 stars I would! Christi was great at accommodating our wedding that was supposed to be on 5/23 but had to be moved to 8/22. She was great at keeping in touch with all of the uncertainty around COVID-19. Aside from that, the venue is beautiful and her husband Richard makes amazing food. One of the things we heard the most from our guests was how good the food was. An added bonus that our guests loved was the outside back patio. An all around great night at the Belarusan Event Center!

Just beautiful event center and wonderful and extensive selection of linens and tableware. Food was just amazing. Cant wait for the wedding in October.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We had originally planned to be married May 9th, but due to COVID-19 postponed to July 25th. Throughout all the craziness and uncertainty, Christi kept in contact keeping us calm & assuring us all precautions will be taken to keep our guests safe. She was always available via email and even text! The venue is so spacious our guests were able to keep distance. The outdoor area was big enough for almost all 150 guests to be out there comfortably- they allowed us to bring our corn hole boards and large jenga so our guests had things to do. The Belarusan provides seriously everything- decor items, little extras in the bathrooms like spray deodorant bobby pins and hair spray, a large selection of linens, fresh flower centerpieces, set up, clean up, nonalcoholic bar items, catering, chairs, etc. They do not provide the alcohol, but give you a guide on what to buy depending on the number of guests- we bought what they told us and we didnt have too much left over! It also saved us thousands of dollars compared to paying per person for bar service. If it werent for the pandemic we would have had a relatively stress free time wedding planning because of everything they do. All of our guests told us the venue was gorgeous.We received SOOOO MANY compliments on the food. We have some serious foodies and all of them said you go in to weddings expecting the food to be okay, but the food Rich prepared was far beyond any other wedding food. Even when we talked to Rich to pick out the food you can hear his passion for cooking, so much he started a garden to grow his own herbs and produce on the property! During our ceremony rehearsal Friday night Rich even brought out FRESH baked, still warm and gooey chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies and waters for us.The service staff were all so polite! Due to COVID-19, they did set out less food and replenished more often. They were on top of it!Basically, I cant say enough how amazing The Belarusan Event Center is. If you are looking for a super inclusive venue then this is it!!

I DJed a wedding last night at Belarusan. the owners took the place over a few years ago and have made it an amazing venue! the food? OUTSTANDING! the atmosphere? OUTSTANDING!, the staff? AMAZING!! everything about this hall was top notch! they even put out a late-night snack around 9:30 that was and amazing french fry & chicken finger buffet! newly remodeled all the way around, with a brand new floor and built in up-lighting all the way around the hall. a nearly finished back patio that even though its not completely finished yet was very classy and elegant and perfect for an outdoor ceremony! If you are looking for a venue for a wedding or any event, I highly recommend the Belusan in Strongsville!

Please dont waste your time with BEC. Empty promises till the day of my wedding plus death threats by Richard, Christis husband. Very unprofessional. My mother in law convinced my husband and I to pick this venue because they take most of the stress on them, things we wont have to worry, as per someone she knew who got married there.This is an honest review and not just to ruin their reputation. When you promise something to a client, do it. They didnt even try.My mother in law never got along with Christi from the first day we all met, because she was never answering the phone that is listed on their website and will say later she tried calling back but the phone didnt ring.In February we were at BEC for food tasting. My mother in law was supposed to go to work but came to BEC 30mins after the event was supposed to start. Food was not served until an hour and a half after the event started. My MIL was very upset on how unprofessional they were and while on the line of the buffet, Richard removed my mil on the line and yelled at her outside. Saying we didnt have to do our Wedding there. Didnt agree most of the time with my mil but didnt like that he did that either. All this was before covid hit. Our original wedding date was June 13 and we had to postpone it to nov 14th.After the last interaction with my mil and Richard, we decided she will not meet with them anymore.I requested tall vases the first time I met with Christi and she confirmed she had enough for 22 tables. 10days before the wedding she said she only had 12 vases and that she couldnt find any. I went to Michaels and bought those same vases she couldnt find. She had a white throne chair that I liked and I asked if she had two, she said yes but then later on the story changed to her husband cant find a second chair at auctions.No one has control over covid-19. Our original contract was signed on August 2019. 3weeks before the wedding when we decided to do a walk through with my Wedding coordinator for the first time, I asked Christi about payments. She said we didnt have to pay anything until the day of or the day after. My wedding coordinator wrote that down and 10days before the wedding Christi denied she never said it and wanted the money the next day because she had to order food the week of the wedding. She threatened to cancel our wedding if we didnt pay the next day, Nov 6th. After we gave her the check we had at least 25 guests cancel on us. my wedding coordinator emailed her on November 8th that 15 guests dropped out and that we needed a refund before she bought the food. She lied that she had already order the food and couldnt refund. The day of the wedding we had at least 25 dropouts. $65/plate do the math. We were short on food at the wedding, the food wasnt even close to what I ate on food tasting day. It was disappointing. Richard went ahead to tell my DJ that if my mother in law and my wedding coordinator gave him a bad review he will go to their work place, drag them out and kill them. This is going to the police not even kidding. My cake was for 250 guests. Not sure where everything went, we had 80+ guest attend the reception. Shortage in food meanwhile we over paid. Richard asked his bartender to over pour alcohol to make sure we didnt have anything to take home, be bought our own alcohol. My dj said he will go to the police if we decided to pursue this issue to testify. Now my mother in law is scared to review BEC. Also she changed my menu a week before the wedding without even asking what we thought. I had to tell her to correct it to what we originally picked. Theres so much I have to say but all will be at the police at this point. Christi then decided that she wanted a certified check as if we didnt have money. Dont do your wedding there. I want to know what they did with our money and why there was shortage of food. Worse worse worse. I tried to be nice since the start of all this but there is so much you can take from people

My daughter and her new husband just celebrated their wedding at Belarusan. It was FABULOUS! Richard and Christi were wonderful to work with. They were very accommodating with the menu, extremely helpful and absolutely the kindest event planners. The food received rave reviews from all who attended the wedding! The center itself has received many updates and it is beautiful!!! I would highly recommend Belarusan Event Center for any of your celebrations. Renee K.

Christi does an awesome job decorating the hall and working with the bride and groom and their families. She is efficient, patient and organized. I felt comfortable and confident working with her and our daughter’s wedding reception was perfect!Richard is a master chef creating wonderful menu options. The food was delicious and our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they ever had.

I cannot say enough about my daughters Magical Wedding hosted at The Belarusan Event Center! Absolutely everything at the wedding was Amazing! Richard, Christi, and Norina were wonderful to work with. So kind, helpful and paid particular attention to detail which I very much appreciated! The appetizers selected for the cocktail hour and used for this segment outstanding! The reception itself could not have been more spectacular, such a memorable ambiance, wonderful meal, and the lighting and crystal chandeliers made for the perfect evening! The dinner was wonderful and I am amazed at how many people continue to comment on how much they loved the food and how gorgeous the venue looked for our wedding reception!I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this special place, but most importantly have to compliment the staff on the levels provided for the evening! Everyone was kind, welcoming and very focused on the wedding guests. The dinner staff was impeccable serving hot food and timely delivery. The bar service was the best I have ever seen. I have received so many compliments. Thank you all for making this the most magical and memorable evening for my daughter and her husband as they begin their life together!

Richard, Kristi & Noreen did a fabulous from start to finish. Our wedding was about 115 people & everyone I talked to had a great time. The food was delicious, room looked gorgeous. We had the ceremony there also and I am so pleased with all they did for the cost & elegance - you cant go wrong. Loved it. Cant wait for the patio & gazebo out back to be finished.

I had my wedding at The Belarusan last weekend. It was SO perfect! Christi and Rich were phenomenal. From the food to the bridal room to the thoughtfully decorated ballroom... I couldnt have pictured a more perfect day. They make it so simple for you. You help plan it, but they do the execution, which is perfect for a stressed out bride! I couldnt recommend them more.

We got married and had our reception on June 22, 2019 here and we could not be more thankful for how everything turned out. It was beyond everything we could have asked for. Christi was amazing with helping plan every detail, setting things up, and even helping bustle my dress. Richard blew everyone away with all the food, by far the best wedding food we have ever had. All the staff was very attentive and always made sure we didn’t need anything and were enjoying ourselves. Everyone here made our wedding more then perfect! Richard even went above and beyond and found us a city skyline background to match our Batman theme. We couldn’t be more thankful for choosing the Belarusan event center to have our wedding at. We VERY highly recommend!!

Christi and Richard were absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding ceremony and reception. Not only were they incredibly kind and immensely accommodating, but the food was off-the-carts fabulous. Just had my sons high school graduation party there and everything went really well. I couldnt ask for anything better. Venue was great and specious.They have great ideas about color combination of linens, lighting etc. Service was great. Food was excellent. Chef has a great ideas about cocking and serving variety of food.My guests and we loved everything - food, venue, service, decoration open dance floor, big stage and cleanliness.This is an excellent place to have wedding as well.

We had our wedding here on Labor Day weekend and from touring the newly remodeled facilities through the end of our wedding reception, Richard, Christy and Norina took care of absolutely everything! They were so wonderful to work with and thanks to their knowledge and expertise, our guests were wowed by our innovative menu, amazing lighting, gorgeous linens and unique floral centerpieces. This team is so thoughtful, responsive and attentive to detail. We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding at the Belarusan Event Center and we will be forever grateful to them for our perfect day!

My wife and Is wedding was great. Richard makes delicious food and is an executive chef with years of experience. The venue is beautiful and completely renovated with a modern look. Highly recommend for any corporate, party, wedding and more!
