I love this place! I have referred my both my sisters, my God mom and her mom and more!!! I am never dissatisfied! There is so much talent in Wakefield Nails. You can bring photos of what you want and they will create just that! The customer service is exceptional the manager puts her customers first and treats everyone with love and respect!

This is the only place My daughters and I get pedicures done. They always take their time and do a terrific job. Mom and Mr. James always take care of us. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive their customers.

Poor quality. First time trying this location today & got a gel polish change. Tech rushed through the service and I have 3 nails that are smeared. No way my gel should be looking like this 4 hours later. Place was packed so I didn’t bother going back to get them fixed. Won’t be back again. Friendly receptionist though and the place was packed. I did appreciate the covid procedures by having you wash hands upon entry & the glass barriers between tech & client

If you don’t have an appointment don’t bother doing a walk-in. I wish I was told how long the wait would be for a pedi. I literally was in the pedi pool for 45 mins. I ending up not getting the service and only polish change. Owner was apologetic but she allowed someone to go in front of me who didn’t have an appointment either. I can’t recommend this place. Would not return.

My nails are horrible ... the lady shaped my nails before even asking me how I wanted them shaped. And they are horrible. I want to cry so bad... the color I chose is amazing but it doesn’t matter because my nails are horrible...

I love Wakefield Nails. This is one of the more affordable nail salons in the area. Ive been coming here with my mom and sister for the last few years and they are very professional and do a great job. Theyve recently updated the interior of the salon, which looks fabulous. I definitely recommend this nail salon.

First time client here. Went in for something simple as a toe polish change. A guy tech did the service. He cut my toe nails down way too short to the point where the corners of my toes were sore the next day. He didn’t shape the toe nails good when filing. He filed down too low after he had already cut down with toe nail clippers too low. He was too rough with the buffer tool he used prior to polishing toes. He put on polish too thick and didn’t let it dry long enough before letting me leave. Didn’t sit me under a dryer which would have helped with drying toes faster. After leaving, I got in the car and polish smeared.

I have been a client of another nail salon for the last 3 years. Last Saturday (1/18/20) I decided that I would try this salon since I have had friends tell me about how great they are. They were able to get me in on a Saturday within 45 minutes. My nail tech was Terry, she is absolutely wonderful. She took her time and made sure my nails were perfect before I left. Thank you for amazing customer service and for being so kind!

I’m new in the area and was looking for a new nail salon.. came across this place from googling salons in the area and the reviews looked really good minus some bad ones.. but i am so glad i came to them and gave them a chance. From the time i walked through the door everyone was super friendly. Tina started on my nails and she was so knowledgeable about keeping my real nails healthy because apparently one of my nails had been lifting and water was getting trapped in between and was destroying my real nails. She was so nice and gave me recommendations on what she could do and what i could do for the future. Then her niece, Diana, finished the rest of my nails. She was so nice and took her time on my nails to make sure they were to my liking. Overall, my experience was wonderful! I’ve found me a new spot !

I recently moved to the area and needed a nail shop. I went to two other places before trying this one. I can honestly say that every time I come here everyone is nice and accommodating. They take their time with you. Terry is my main tech and Lili is my back up if ever she is out. I can’t say enough about them. The customer service and the atmosphere are excellent. You will not be disappointed. I leave happy every time and will continue to be their customer.

Ive been going here for the last couple of years. I love Tina, shes a sweet person. But my visit last week was not what Im used to. My pedicure was great but my fill in😑 the girl who did my nails cut me 4 times and my chrome polish started lifting after a few days. They didnt even ask me if I wanted a drink. And I paid over a hundred dollars.

I have been coming to Wakefield Nails for about a year now. Every time I come the people here are so caring. Their customer service is superb! Lily is the best. I swear they give the best pedicures Ms. Chang is the best. I cant say enough about their manicures. I always do gel and it lasts 4ever. the convicted me to do a gel pedicure and I will never go back to a regular pedicure. They have a large selection of nail colors of both regular and gel, to date i have not repeated a color. The owner is so sweet and kind. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I am very particular about my nails, super particular. During Covid my usual nail salon had unfortunately closed. A co worker knew I was frustrated with the place I initially tried once things opened back up and suggested I join her at Wakefield Nail. I am more than pleased I’m ecstatic! Diana was my nail tech, I told her only once what I wanted, not once did I have to ask for anything she was amazing! If you are picky and a bad nail apt will ruin your day then don’t hesitate to book here! They are following all Covid 19 requirements you will be safe and happy!

Tina does amazing nails but do not get your eyelashes done here, they either fall off super easy or they over glue them and they are uncomfortable. Also when they take them off they rip your real eyelashes out instead of using a remover

New Owner Alert! I got the Deluxe Pedicure which is, by far, the best bang for your buck. You get everything that comes with a traditional pedicure but you also get two massages (one with the sea salt and one with the mud mask). You also get the paraffin wax treatment and the hot towels. I was extremely happy with the entire experience. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend you ask for Andy if you want the best massage EVER! With that kind of service, I won’t go anywhere else. It was amazing!!!!

I was recently there the first day after they opened due to virus, I got BEHLI EBAN at least thats what was written on her jacket.I was told Dianna wouldnt be in because thats who I request.my tech was rude she obviously didnt want to be at work she complained about the first 2 colors I picked.she refused to help me look for the colors I wanted and on top of it she did a very poor job on my nails I was there from 12-2 for a gel manicure and !!!!regular spa pedicure which only lasted 3 days before it started to lift NEVER GOING BACK

Honestly, I NEVER take the time to give reviews but this one is a MUST! Yesterday was my very first visit to this salon after trying many others within the area and being very disappointed almost every time. I was impressed at their service and willingness to make sure I was completely satisfied with every detail of my fill in / pedicure prior to leaving. These guys are true perfectionists when it comes to their work! And if you’re picky like me, this is something you look for when going somewhere new. I left there almost in shock (not because I had heard anything bad about them) but because I’ve never been to a salon where they made my visit so great and cared so much about what I wanted or if I was happy. To say the very least, I will never go anywhere else again! I finally found the right place 💖 The only disappointment that I have is that I didn’t go to them sooner lol. And last but not least, the prices are great! I almost fell out of my chair when the lady handed me my receipt, since I was expecting higher prices!Happy with my nails, happy with my visit, and very happy that I found this place 🙂

If I could I even removed this one star. My nails are completely bumpy, they injured my finger tip which is painful even after couple of days. the edges are unadjusted. they didnt clean under my nails. OMG theyre just terrible. All they concern about is just finishing their job in 45 minutes to start another MESS right away!

Ive been coming this past 4 weeks with my friend. I started my first visit with a pedicure because my nails were done at Top Nails ( see my review for them too, horrible!) My pedicure was not rushed and although I recieved the standard package, they still took the time and had the finesse. My toes 3-4 weeks later still look good (regular polish) Yesterday Terry, did my fill in on Top Nails original full set. The shape she gave my nails are fabulous as well as the paint job. She was so detailed, accommodating with wine and showing me the purse hook. She even encouraged me to try something new. I will be a repeat customer from now on.

Went in with terrible nails due to a different nail salon and one broken nail. Tina greeted me the second I walked in and was the one that redid and fixed my nails. I read the good reviews of Tina the new owners and made a appt and was greeted so nicely from Tina and another sweet lady. I signed in and only waited a minute. Diana did my nails that were in bad shape. She fixed them beautifully. They even gave me 20% off. They gave me the file and buffer they used on me. I highly recommend them.

Lynn does a GREAT job, consistently. Ive been several places in Raleigh and one other salon in Wake Forest, and Wakefield Nails is the best. My nails look great and I get compliments on them all the time. By the way, Ken gives the best pedi, too. My feet get really calloused and he takes all of that off, taking the time to do the job right. My feet are in the best shape theyve ever been in.

They were sooo great! I work at an animal hospital, so you really dont know what time you get off work. Today I got out of work muchh later than expected. 13 hours on my feet, I was beat. I really wanted a pedicure, but I thought I was a long shot. I called this salon knowing that they closed in 30 minutes, but I asked if they could just give me a quick pedicure, I really just wanted the massage portion. I felt bad calling, but I was going to work again in 10 hours :( They told me to come right in! The salon has a really nice atmosphere, and I was instantly greeted by the manager, Tina. Just a cut to the chase, the man who did my nails (Kenny) spent at least 20 minutes alone massaging my feet and legs. I fell asleep ! I didnt ask for that, I guess he could just see that I was so tired and needed that. Then he painted my toes perfectly! Tina even offered for me to stay longer to sit under the dryer. I declined, but I was just so appreciative of the offer. I was not expecting a real pedicure, but this was the best pedicure I have ever received. I am so appreciated of their customer service and I am ready for work the next day! Highly recommend them!!!:)

Awful service and did super bad on my nails. they claimed they didn’t do anything wrong when i asked if i could do a new set and would make me pay again. NEVER coming back and i definetely do NOT recommend especially when u get acrylics!!

Lili does a great job im always happy with my nails, she listens to what i want and always works very hard to make sure im happy. Everyone in the nail salon is extremely friendly and always smiling. Prices are fair and they have a wide variety of nail polish colors to choose from. They have plenty of regular polish colors to chose from, as well as gel and dip. Like I mentioned they are very nice and patient and do not mind if you tell them to fix a mistake or something you aren’t happy with unlike other salons.

This is my third time coming here and I have had a great experience each time. This place is always clean and they have great customer service. All The Techs try so hard to please you, and make you feel comfortable.

Wakefield Nails is the absolute WORST nail salon Ive ever been to! Ive been getting my nails done consistently for the past 2 years and never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect. I sat down to have my gel nails filled and my mother sat down 10 minutes later. The nail tech started taking my polish off and when he was finished with one hand another girl came in and he just got up said nothing and left me sitting there for over an hour to do her nails!!! When I finally had enough I got up and told them I would be taking my business else where and they started yelling at me and still tried to charge me for a fill when I had one hand of polish taken off! The woman working on my moms nails started slamming the equipment down and continued to yell at me! To put in perspective how long I was actually waiting my mom had an ENTIRE FILL IN done and I was still waiting to have my polish taken off! It was the WORST EXPERIENCE Ive ever had at a nail salon actually the worst customer service Ive had period!!!! I NEVER write reviews, but after the way I was treated today I just feel like it is necessary! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone because of how poorly I was treated.. I am completely DISGUSTED!!!!! They even REFUSED to even apologize to me and started telling me I was the one who was wrong!!! Shame on you Wakefield Nails for treating your customers with such disrespect - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

This place is terrible. I would not suggest anyone to go here, wish i could post a pictute of my nails because they are so terrible. First thing I noticed when I walk in I was trying to look at the menu with prices and she stood in front of me hiding in the menu I saw that the acrylics were only $30 and so I told her I wanted those. She tried to make me get gel several times when I had specifically told her I wanted acrylics with regular polish not gel polish. But she was so insistent it was getting kind of obnoxious at one point I had to tell her specifically again that I wanted acrylics not gel. And she continued to charge me more for random things that Ive never even heard of them charging for at my nail salon Amy nails its down the street if anyone even thinks about going to Wakefield Nails you guys should just turn around and go to anybody else theyre excellent. I asked for black French tips and that was all. She continued to tell me that it was going to be 10 more dollars on top of the 30 at the end of me being there that I do not even know about I had things that I had to spend money on and she had not told me the whole time that I had to pay an extra for length and French manicure. And if you would have told me ahead of time I would have been fine with that but she didnt she was conniving almost with the way she was trying to scam me out of my money and if she told me or the menu said that it cost more money to get the things I got done to my nails done I would be fine with that but it did not. Two of my friends also got their nails done with me I have never seen acrylic nails so horrible in my life. My friend was getting her nails navy blue for a wedding she was going to and told the owner that she should pick that color because she doesnt know were just going to turn out looking like but she specifically said dark navy blue. She put a very light blue sparkly color on your nails and refused to take them off unless she was going to pay more she paid $60 for this because she got the gel set. My other girlfriend that came with me her nails were even worse than mine we were getting the same black French tip acrylics she wanted her short though she specifically told the woman several times that she wanted her short just the same style as mine the same paint. Her nails and it up longer than mine and she doesnt have to pay the $5 extra she said to the woman several times ask her she could shorten them because they were way too long and she said yes honey just wait yes honey just wait. And never did anything to them we tried talking to the lady about everything that she had messed up and she was just rude to say that we had to pay for everything and that wasnt my fault and she was what she asked for. End of story I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. Like ever.

Was in the area, so decided to give them a try for a pedicure and a gel fill & polish. The technician didnt ask what pedicure I wanted and just went with the basic. Not sure if its because I had on my distressed jeans so perhaps didnt look as if I would want the deluxe spa or because I was of color, and the rest of their clientele was not. In any case, the technician did a good job (didnt ask if I wanted a cut down, but okay) and the foot massage was lovely.When it was time to do my nails, the first technician started and I asked him to cut my nails down, he had to ask another what to do. Then, as he was filing, says you need a fill...um, yeah, thats what I asked for. So then, he hands me off to someone else, who is busy putting color streamers in another customers hair..sigh.When she finishes, she gruffly took my hands and proceeded with the drill. I explained to her that I wanted regular polish, with clear gel on top. Without even touching the builder gel, she put the regular polish on my naked nail and put me under an old school UV light (portable) that had seen its better days. I told her, I asked for a fill..she says yes, this is it. Then she put builder gel on top of the regular polish and put me back under the light..all the while laughing at my color choice which had heart shaped pieces in a glittery pink polish. This is Easter, not Valentines Day she repeated ad nauseum. Sigh.Now, I get fills every 2-3 weeks for the last 10 years, so I knew that was not right, but I didnt make a fuss because surely she wouldnt charge for a fill when she didnt do one. Wrong.. total $64. I paid without flinching and promptly came to my regular salon in Knightdale to have it corrected and get my toes t9 match.So.. $110 later, I have a fresh look for my hands and feet. Needless to say I wont patronize Wakefield Nails again.

Ive been to this nail place 2 times. Lynn is the owner. I requested a gel fill & polish from Lynn the owner. She did-horrible job on my nails. After one week my nails are horrible. I normally have my nails done every 3 weeks. Lynn was to busy trying to push other services on me. When you say no she keeps bugging you. She convinced me to a pedicure. After one week my polish is chipping because to much polish was applied. She over charged me $5.00 saying I wanted a design on two fingers. I told her no and it was included on my bill. I was very disappointed with my visit.

My experience was HORRIBLE! The lady is very rude and has poor customer service skills. I went to get my nails done on Saturday. The guy completed my services. I requested gel nails with tips. By the next day, Sunday, two of my nails were already cracked. By Monday, one nail had completely broken off. I went to get them repaired on Tuesday. I was told to sit down and let the man complete the repair. Instead of him taking the tip off,which was cracked, he opted to repair with glue and re-apply gel. I went to wash my hands and noticed that the nail was still cracked. I notified him of the crack and he decided to just add glue and attempted to apply nail polish. I told him the nail was just going to crack again and to please reapply gel. So he did. After which, the nail was bumpy and he tried to paint the nail without filing and buffing. I told him that my nail was bumpy and needed to be filed. The lady came over, investigated my nail and exchange words to him in their language. The entire time they were laughing and exchanging words. He decided to file, buff and paint my nail. I was so upset because I was in there for nearly an hour for 2 nails to be repaired. Also, she got an attitude with me because they couldnt find my nail color. I told her the brand and where I got it from. And her response was rude, telling me that I couldnt have gotten that brand from the bottom row because that particular brand is stored on the top row. But the entire nail polish was is disorganized. Also, upon completing my nails, the man said You go now. No one said Im sorry for the bad experience, have a good night. Nope! Just You go now! Today is Wednesday and another nail is cracked. I do not do laborious work. My nails are cracking because they cut cut corners and applied the gel thin. I will never waste my time and money in the establishment again and I told them in a respectful way. I strongy suggest that you consider my experience when making your decision. I went on two different day and it was not busy...not even on a Saturday. That should have told me something.I upoaded a photo of my nails. As stated, I got my nails done on Satuday afternoon. Today is Wednesday and it looks like I need a fill in.

Well.. I was told by the owner about one of the lady when I was there when it happened, this lady actually threaten go on google give the business bad review, if she did not get her money back. I witnessed the incident. This lady did not want to pay for the service at all, after got her nails done, she did not like it, and refused to pay, even those the owner offer to redo the whole thing for her, but she refused and demand money back without any reason why she did not like her nails.I know the fact that there are people out there threaten using google review try to get free service. I have seen it few times. I feel sorry for those small service businesses. I hope people dont just go by what google review said.

Terrible service. I have had more than one time had bad service here. I just paid 63.00 for a gel polish and manicure and a pedicure.i found polish all over my toes. My toe was bleeding. I found left over pink polish that had not been taken off completely. I was so upset and let the owner know and showed her. She told me it depends on who I get. Really? You would allow someone to give that kind of service to your clients.? She said she could fix it on Monday. Today. My husband told me not to go back. Oh and I am not sorry for speaking up. I had legitimate reason to do so when I am paying for a service that was not too concerned about my satisfaction. No one makes excuses for me period! You are wrong for not taking immediate action in a caring manner.

I paid for my wife to get her nails done for Mothers day, the paint job on her nails were HORRIBLE! The paint is chipping away after 3 hours of having them and when she got her toes done, the polish looks great but they did absolutely nothing about her feet. For her to leave and immediately call me crying is unacceptable. They refused to redue them and proceeded to say that it wasnt their fault that she doesnt take care of her feet. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service was horrible!

The guy did a good job with my pedicure but was not good with polishing. He went to owner for help she refused. I told him I will polish myself. Will NEVER return again!!!!!

I went in to get a full set of acrylic nails. The lady came over and proceeded to give me a set of gel nails. When I told her thats not what I wanted she told me that its okay, we will just give you gel at the acrylic price. The work was horrible. My nails we crooked and uneven, dented in places. When I went to check out she charged me for a gel full set. Will not go back!!

This is the only place that they do the DipIt Nails, and they look amazing.

Very rude!! Only came here because I was in a hurry but will never come here again. Getting my toes painted and they werent even going to trim my toe nails down. Outrageous prices.
