These apartments are amazing and the location rocks. The staff is so friendly and nice and every time I have gone to the office they have greeted me by name! They hold a lot of fun events which give you opportunities to meet the neighbors. So far I have had no issues and have really enjoyed living here! Pros: They have a lot of amenities, such as tennis courts, a large pool, grilling stations, pet areas, a gym, etc., they also have friendly staff and maintenance requests are filled incredibly fast. Cons: none yet.
This apartment complex is so nice and has too many positives to mention them all! The porches are so nice and the apartment layouts are very well thought out. Maintenance is always quick to respond, but we honestly havent had hardly any problems with our apartment. The location is perfect too! I most definitely recommend living here!
Since I have moved back to NC, the first place that I moved to was supposed to be a townhome but wasn’t. I won’t say the name but it was on Jones Franklin rd, The Marquis is not that far and I enjoy living here. It’s a one bedroom like the other place but it’s so spacious and the area is quite. The staff is respectful, there has been a recent management change and sometimes that can be scary and irritating but they are very good with selecting staff that have respect for the tenants. I have had a few minor issues but was resolved fast. The neighbors are respectful and polite can’t beat that in these days.
I love living here!! The staff is very responsive to any needs or requests we have, and the community is great! I plan on staying for the foreseeable future!
I wanted to wait at least a month into my new apartment lease to give an honest review. The staff at Marquis is amazing. Melissa was the main reason why I chose to reside here. It’s refreshing to know that I reside in a really nice, safe, and quiet apartment complex. It is more comforting knowing the office staff literally cares about their tenants needs. At the Marquis on Edwards Mill you truly get what you pay for!
Horrible neighbors that are Loud and inconsiderate; BigotedManagement/leadership lacks empathy and does not value/understand relationship building. Very short term focusOutdated apartments with low end appliancesBalcony in bad shape with nails protruding and holes, nails even pop outCan hear water flowing through the pipes in wallShould invest in new packaging system. Have been told that a package is not there only to go to office and find a stack of packages outside that have been there for hoursHave had multiple plumbing issues in bathroomsInadequate parking for residentsOutside grounds definitely outshine the inside of the apartments
I lived here for over two years and would definitely live here again. Melissa, Kirstie, Tiara, Jason, and really anyone else in the office, has always remembered me by name, my apartment, and been incredibly accommodating the entire time I lived here. Always friendly, quick communication, and all around great staff.Maintenance crew was great as well. I rarely needed repairs, but if I needed anything, it was done quickly. My last day, I was late getting out and everyone was so kind. Jeff (I hope that is the correct name) was so helpful and really made me appreciate the staff my last hours on the property. Thank you all.I recommend this complex to anyone. You cant beat the location, the amenities, and the staff!
The tour was easy, the location is great due to it being in proximity of my job and other main attractions, the neighborhood is friendly, and the staff is extremely helpful and responsive. One of the best apartment complexes that I have lived at.
Marquis on Edward’s mill staff has been nothing but helpful in my stay here. They are always helpful and responsive and I always feel welcomed in the neighborhood. People have been nothing but friendly and kind here. I’ve lived here for four years and have had no issues that couldn’t be taken care of accordingly. Thank you!
I have been working at The Marquis on Edwards Mills Apartment as a trusted Vendor Partner for about three years now. It is always a pleasure working with all the stuff there. They are so professional and friendly. Great commination with services done, always making sure that their units are move-in ready for their residents! I definitely recommend this place to live! 5 stars for sure =)
This is a great community and definitely feels like home. The staff, especially Melissa and Jason, are very friendly and helpful. There were some issues (more so confusion than any actual problems) upon move-in that Melissa and Jason were quick to resolve and ensure that I was happy with my new lease and apartment choice. I was surprised to learn that the Marquis was built in the mid to late 90s. It is very well maintained and the renovations they have done/continue to do make more modern improvements while still keeping it cozy, which I love. Highly recommend!
I have loved the last two years living at The Marquis on Edwards Mill! I have lived in both a two-bed and a one-bed apartment, and both have felt like home; safe, great location, and awesome staff! I have worked closely with Tiara and she has been exceptional when it comes to responsiveness and care. I would recommend this complex to anyone, but especially young professionals wanting location for a fair price.
So many great things to say about this apartment very spacious, beautiful clean community and they have a wonderful updated gym that is open 24hrs. Staff/leasing office personally very friendly also willing to go above for their tenants glad I moved here👍🏼
My wife and I were looking to move to Raleigh and we stopped here to check out the apartments. They are beautiful, well-designed units. Kirstie was amazing! She was super friendly, helpful, and informative. We didn’t end up moving to Raleigh but we truly enjoyed our brief experience visiting this complex.
I moved into this community a few months ago and have nothing but good things to say. The staff made the move in process easy and they have been quick to respond and help with any needs I have had. The gym, pool and community location are all top notch and I absolutely LOVE my apartment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new place.
Meeting Kirstie was an absolute joy, she met all my needs with out complication. Kirstie made the process of renting simple absolutely no issues whatsoever. She showed me the apartment community with extreme detail. The Manager Jason was a delight as well making me feel welcomed and assisting with a slight request. Leasing anywhere else would be just silly.T. Michael Martin
I absolutely love living here. The staff (Especially Melissa and Jason) is amazing and made moving blindly to a new state for my internship a breeze. They are quick to respond to any problems that arise. Apartments are nicely renovated and match the descriptions that are given online. They have done a good job of keeping themselves and the community safe during COVID and have been very up front.
A wonderful move-in experience. Kirstie worked with me well in order to get into the apartment at a great price
Loved the tour! Kristie was an awesome tour guide. Very informative and helpful!
I have been living at the marquis for about two years now. My girlfriend and I took the step to move in with one another and we came to the decision that the Marquis was the place we wanted to stay! From everyone in leasing office from Kirstie Dean to Jason Fulp they have been nothing but helpful, understanding, and overall amazing during this entire process! No matter how many times I called the leasing office they answered my questions throughly and with a smile on their face. Would recommend this place to anyone!
I have lived here for almost 3 years, and never want to leave! The staff is great to work with and the amenities are always spotless. The maintenance team responds so quickly to calls it is almost unbelievable. My unit has so much space and feels so home-like at an apartment complex. And, it helps that it is dog friendly!
Having known several people that thoroughly enjoyed living here throughout the years, my apartment search began and ended at the Marquis. The apartment itself is top notch, the location couldn’t be better, and the staff (especially Jason) has been awesome. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place.
I have been a resident for almost 10 years, and have been very pleased with the response of the staff to any limited issues that have come up. The grounds are well kept, and maintainence issues are quickly resolved. I appreciate the care, and concern I have always been extended by the Marquis Team. Thank you!
Ive never written a review before but I was moving from another state during Covid and had to rely heavily on reviews when choosing an apartment complex. All the positive reviews are true; the move-in process was very easy (thanks to Kirstie who was exceptionally helpful!), the pictures online are true to what the apartments actually look like, the complex itself is beautiful and well-maintained and the maintenance staff responds immediately if there are any issues. I would highly recommend this complex to anyone looking to make a move!
One of the best apartment living experiences for me and my wife! Safe and secure neighborhood with quality neighbors. All the trees planted around the complex gives that touch of natural bliss! The units we stayed in were in very good condition. Ours came with new carpeting and was freshly painted, which I believe is offered to all new tenants. The interior looks modern and equipped with stainless steel appliances. We enjoyed every time walking out to the balcony that was spacious and unique! I really didnt need to put in too many service requests. The couple of times I did, the maintenance crew was responsive and promptly took care of it. Also makes it easier that you can do just about all the communication via resident portal/app. The amenities are great! Sufficient equipment in the gym.The apartment complex is very conveniently located. Harris Teeter is across the street in a plaza with several food options. Bella Monica is a must-try! Walgreens, Food Lion, Panera Bread, Starbucks, Caribou Coffee, Firehouse Sub, Crabtree Valley Mall, UPS, and any possible medical need one might have are all within minutes drive. As if that werent enough Glenwood Ave with all it has to offer, including Walmart, is within reach. The staff is cordial and diligent. I feel, they aim to make this community a pleasant living experience for you, and attempt to do so in a professional manner. You can feel the quality in service and lifestyle. The community director, Jason, is a gentleman who cares for the residents and runs a tight ship. I cant say enough good things about him. He really stays on top of things. There was a time when I needed to check with Jason for his input. Sure enough, Jason chimed in on his day off and helped resolve my concerns. You dont get that kind of personalized attention at an apartment rental. Were in the process of moving out of state; however, if we return to Raleigh wed gladly stay here again without reservation. Were absolutely happy with our stay at Marquis and highly recommend!!
This is the worst possible apartment to live in in the Raleigh area. The gym is incredibly unsanitary (the staff is incapable of replacing the wipes for tenants to clean equipment themselves). They do not address issues that the tenants bring up in a timely manner. Upon moving out, we cleaned our apartment for HOURS to satisfy their long list of requirements and we were still fined for cleaning/other fees. In addition to this, during our time living here, there was an electrical fire directly outside of our bedroom windows one evening. None of us were home and we were notified by a neighbor that firefighters were at our apartment. The management of the apartment complex never reached out to us. The firemen were able to put the fire out, however, the electrical box remained burned up and was not replaced for the remainder of the time we lived here (which is scary considering this could lead to an additional fire). I could go on and on with complaints. Simply do not live here if you have the option to avoid it. And do not trust any reviews on Google for this apartment. During my time living here I posted a review complaining and the staff reached out and bugged me about the poor review until I removed it.
For the past two weeks our AC unit has not been functioning properly. I’ve had to make several service requests for the men to come and not fix our AC unit and make rude comments about having to come over. My family lives at here as well in separate apartments so I assumed this would be a good place to move and I was wrong. Me and my boyfriend had nothing but problems the moment we moved here. We pay rent and apart of that rent is so that our utilities function properly and not to receive rude customer service. I’ve sent out multiple requests and the ac weirdly stays running and stays stuck at 72-73 degrees. The rude repair man who I’ve only had negative experience with just hung up on me and said he would not be coming to fix it that it’s not broken when clearly it is. Not only is this the latest issue but prior the lawn people had damaged my car which I decided to just let go because I’m trying to have a positive relationship with these people and the office but at this point so many issues I honestly feel like maybe it’s because we are gay that we’ve had such issues I can’t think of any other reason why because I have never been treated so poorly living at a apartment complex. I contacted the property manager he seemed nice but so far it’s just not getting fixed. They had us in the wrong apartment when we first moved here and told us the wrong information. We are no different than any other tenant here and should be treated with respect not distaste. My brother and sisters AC runs perfect at 67-69 and our use to until the last two weeks but it’s not broken??? Same heat wave excuse they live right across from me but that’s what’s causing ours not to work and just run and stay at 71-73 no it’s an excuse not to fix it which is your job. I would Have NEVER moved here if I knew we would be treated this way and by the device repair men. Any other apartment place that ever had that issue would come fix it and if they couldn’t they weren’t rude they were polite never have I put in a service request for a man to come over grunting about having to do his job and then just decides not to and to just deal with it and hang up. This is not a 4.5 or a 5 star place period and not just based of my experience. Your not about to take my money each month and treat tenants like trash.
I love living here! the move in process was so easy and the customer service i have received has been amazing since the moment i walked through the door. my apartment is beautiful and the porch is huge! there are tons of trees around so it feels very homey and private. the office staff is super friendly and all the amenities that come along with the complex are great! it’s also close to EVERYTHING which is super convenient!
If you care about your neighbors and you take pride in where you live you will love it here. Staff is very professional and they work hard for us.
I lived there for about 8 months and was very happy with my experience. I had immediate responses from the office and was well taken care of with any needs or concerns. I lived on the row by Duraleigh and Edwards Mill which was noisy because of the traffic but that is my only comment of concern. Everything else was great!
Happy to be in our forever home and sad to be leaving such a great community and management. Believe me we have rented in Raleigh, DC and California over the past 8 years...I am sure you can imagine the nightmares we may have encountered. I wanted to say that you all have been such a wonderful help for us. Transitioning from CA back to Raleigh, transitioning to becoming new parents, and overall just being so malleable for us. If ever we find a friend who asks where they should look for an apartment or town-home, bet your bottom dollar we say Edwards Mill.
We feel like we live at a resort here. The pool is beautiful and so well kept. Grounds are stunning and private. It doesn’t have that “stuffy” apartment feeling. Interior painting jobs are professional. Really nice kitchens and huge bathtubs. Really easy and safe to get to the greenway/ bike path. The staff could not possibly be nicer, more friendly, or easy-going and they know all of the residents so well; this is something that really stands out it really creates a feeling of community. The base elementary school is awesome. Porches are huge. Gym is amazing. Maintenance is extremely responsive. I feel so pampered here but it still feels like home; I don’t think I ever want to move.
This place is awesome!! The grounds are immaculate(landscapers on site every week), SO MUCH GREEN!!! The trees and the bushes gives it a homey less city vibe! It’s quiet and peaceful. Melissa in the front office is AWESOME!!! Always courteous, polite and very helpful!
Marquis is a great place to live. The rental process was easy and Melissa was very helpful! The apartment is spacious at a good price. The gym is easily accessible and has everything I need for a good workout n
Ive lived at Marquis for almost two years now, and Ive absolutely loved my time here! I started in a three bedroom and moved to a two bedroom when one of my roommates relocated to a new city. The office staff made our transition to the new apartment super easy and stress-free. The maintenance team is very friendly and fast to respond to service requests. They are very dog friendly also - I take my 6mo puppy to the office sometimes and they will give her a treat and lots of love and attention. They also have a dog park and lots of pet waste stations and sidewalks when walking my dog. The apartment itself is beautifully renovated and very spacious! The grounds are well maintained and have a beautiful landscape. I definitely recommend living here!
Could not recommend Marquis on Edwards Mill enough! I have lived here over 6 months and it has been the best experience. The grounds are wonderfully maintained, the maintenance team is always quick to respond to any issues (which has maybe been two) and Melissa in the office is always a pleasure to work with; she answered all of our questions as we signed our lease and made the process enjoyable. What I love most is that the apartments are not your generic cookie cutter spaces that you see so much. Elements such as a fireplace, mantel and high ceilings truly make it feel like a home. Thank you!
Great place to live regardless of your age. Grounds are beautiful and they maintain the inside of your apt as well. They often have special barbecues, pizza and breakfasts for the tenants. Can’t ask for better hospitality.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my apartment and my apartment community! The office staff is amazing, maintenance team is efficient and have always taken care of my service requests in a timely fashion, the community itself is always maintained/clean and my neighbors are friendly! Location is great, school district is awesome, and easy access to 40.
I haven’t moved in yet so I’m writing this review for application process. My friend and I went to check out the apartment after work. Although it was pretty late, Melissa was still willing to show us around the apartment complex and the facilities. She was very friendly and answered all the concerns we had. She is also good at sending reminders to keep track on application process and reply to your emails within a business day.
This community is very clean and well kept. We looked at many apartments in the area and honestly they have all started to look the same. Four or five story, flat roofed buildings with tiny pools, interior corridors and elevators. For me, The Marquis was appealing because I could walk straight into my home without having to deal with fobs, the smells of my neighbors dinner and excessive noise. This is definitely something to consider if you are a pet owner. Having to rush down a hall, into an elevator and then down another hall just didnt appeal to me. These apartments feel like a home. We were lucky enough to get really good neighbors. All that said, one of the best parts of our experience so far has been in dealing with Melissa T. in the leasing office. We came in on a weekend and in the rain and she immediately showed us numerous apartments and guided us through the application process the following week. She returned calls and emails within the day, every single time. Melissa assisted me in getting a new parking pass when I changed cars, she has great energy and professionalism and I highly recommend asking for her if you come to tour the property. The pool is huge with adequate seating. There is a very nice gym, garages, stainless steel, it is dog friendly in a great, uncongested location and offers units with hardwoods and fireplaces. Hard to beat.
I had the pleasure of living at Marquis for 1 year as I just relocated out of state. The community itself is clean, well kept, and quiet. The pricing is affordable and the interiors are upgraded with a touch of charm. The entire office staff, especially Allison, is easy to get in touch with and any maintenance requests were promptly tended to. I would highly recommend the Marquis on Edwards Mill if you are looking for an affordable, great location to everything Raleigh has to offer.
Beautiful apartment! Great Staff!!
I love this complex! Michael has been wonderful for us and helped us through our moving process and assisted us in the ways we needed. The crew is so fast and they come and fix what is needed. Even during the hurricane the crew stayed on site, supplied sand bags, cleared the gutters, they went all out to help! The apartments, pool, gym, everything is beautiful! We plan on staying here awhile.
I’m approaching almost 10 years at the Marquis on Edwards Mill, and that says something. The apartment is spacious, the balcony is the biggest I’ve seen at any complex, the pool and grounds are always well maintained and beautiful. I love driving back to my apartment and seeing all the crepe myrtle trees along the way! But what makes this place so great is the staff. Allison goes above and beyond to make sure we’re happy and well-taken care of. The guys who keep everything in working order are incredible too. Anything that needs to be repaired or replaced happens immediately. It’s stress-free living. I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff—those who are there now, and those I knew here years ago. I like to think of them all as friends.
Best apartment we have lived at. Clean, attentive staff (melissa is great), good landscaping, and a general sense of care among residents. Highly suggest living here.
Melissa made our move in so easy. She was unbelievably patient as we decided on what apartment and when we were going to move in. We got exactly what we wanted and are very happy here. We do not see us moving again for a very long time.
My roommate and I love living here - the location is PERFECT. Close to the highway, and opposite a Harris Teeter. The staff, especially Melissa, are very friendly and got to know us by name! We have loved living here!!
Kaylan did a great job of inspecting/replacing my garbage disposal. He then ran a short draining cycle on the dishwasher to clear it out. I submitted the request about 10:30AM and it was completely done by around noon!
Amazing experience so far living at Marquis at Edwards Mill! Super convenient location and the staff is all wonderful! Melissa was SO helpful in the move in process!
Pool always opens early in the season
This is my 2nd year at this beautiful complex. Maintenance is very fast and efficient! Friendly and nice! I love the trees and bushes. The set up of the apartment complex keeps roommates happy and private space is awesome! The porch is large. I Iove the open kitchen and laundry in the apartment is a bonus!! The office staff is very nice & helpful! Thanks you so much!Sincerely Kelly
We’ve been here for over 3 years now, and 90% of the time I am very happy and pleased with it. The location is fabulous, the apartments are spacious (especially the amazing porches!) and the staff is super friendly. The maintenance staff responds promptly, and have always been very professional and friendly when they come to make repairs. It’s a very dog-friendly neighborhood, which we love. We feel safe here, and haven’t had any issues with noise or disrespectful neighbors (we are on the third floor, however - top level, so we don’t have anyone above us). I have recommended this complex to many people over the course of 3 years, and would still recommend it to anyone. The 10% of the time when I have not been happy here are due to the following: Packages being delivered here are almost ALWAYS an issue. They get sent to the leasing office, and I have gone up there multiple times to pick up a package and I’ve been told it’s not there when it actually IS there. I assume this is attributed to some organization problems in the office. There have also been times when a package has been delivered and they never notified me about it. Of course, I track my own packages and keep up with it. But I think it would be courteous to reach out by email and just let me know that the package is there. Another problem we’ve had is that packages are frequently delivered to the wrong person when they aren’t sent to the leasing office. For example, there are two buildings in the complex with the same number and apartment numbers, but different street names. Overall, I try not to get my packages sent here because it’s always a pain...but I know not everyone is fortunate enough to have somewhere else in the area where they can send their packages.
Marquis on Edward Mills is really great! Five stars all the way. I have been working with Michael for approx. a year and finally got my house sold and moved in to my apartment on 6/15/15. He has been wonderful with taking care of all of my concerns and has made this whole experience a pleasure! The staff are all very nice and helpful. The apartments are very lovely and the landscaping is beautiful. My maintenance requests have been handled immediately. Fellow renters have been very friendly.Really, really nice place to live!
Great place to live. Very homey and great size apartments for the price.
I lost my keys and searched everywhere before checking with the office. Vincent, part of the apartment complex staff, had found them out by the dumpster and returned them to the office. Thank you for the great service!
Havent moved in yet but I was very pleased with the leasing process. I dealt with Melissa and she was very helpful with the tour and answering any questions we had.
Love living here they make sure it always looks clean and everyone is so nice.
5/24/17My roommate and I have been here for roughly half a year now and have had a great experience with The Marquis so far. The area is very convenient, amenities are abundant, and the floor plans are modern and inviting. Everyone from Carly, who made an excellent first impression, to the maintenance crew, who get back to you in a jiffy with skillful service, are another part about what makes this place seem so welcoming.
Kaylan from maintenance was amazing! Super nice & so professional!
I have lived here a few months now and it’s absolutely beautiful and spacious! If you want a good place to live with affordable prices come take a look!
Super convenient to shopping, I40, Rex hospital and more. Very clean, modern, responsive staff, *beautiful* and happening pool and clubhouse, superb amenities, great neighbors and social scene. Highly recommend this place for working professionals.
I rented at the Marquis back in 2008 and I was tremendously pleased with my experience. The grounds are very well kept and clean. The women in the office were always very helpful and even helped me retrieve an important package after the delivery room had been closed for the day one time. My apartment was beautiful and spacious and the price was right. I can only remember one issue I had when my dishwasher wasnt working and they fixed it within a day. The only inconvenience was that there was only one main mailbox area so it was not delivered close to the apartment. Other than that I highly recommend the Marquis.
I lived there for one year and decided to move out since i couldnt afford the rent anymore, everyone is so friendly i loved this place they are so helpful and when i left my boxes after i moved they kept them for me. i loved this place awesome place to live
These are by far the worst apartments Ive ever lived in. We have 6 months left on our lease and are contemplating paying the feed to break it. In the 6 months since we moved in weve had more times maintenance has come into our apartment than any Ive lived at ever before. There always seems to be some random project or thing that needs to be checked. They also come in unannounced and will not make any exceptions. Work night shift? Doesnt matter. Have a newborn? Nope, they dont care. They will come into your apartment and make noise unannounced. As I sit here typing this, they are currently doing demo work on the apartment upstairs. When asked if they could possibly come back another day, as we both work tonight. Their answer is sorry about your luck. Maintenance also rudely parks their little golf spots so we cant pull into our own parking spots. Most outlets dont work. When we moved into our newly renovated apartment, there were paint specks on the laminate floors from the new (read: poorly painted old) cabinets. The hardwood (aka laminate) floor is installed incorrectly so we have gaps between cabinets and floor. Also, they tell you it will only be $40 to rent a washer and dryer per month. Actually there is an approximate $150 installation feed plus its $60+ dollars per month. Also, if you do a lot of online shopping - this is not your place. No packages come to your door, they are all routed to the office. Ive had numerous times where Ive went to pick up a package that was said to have been delivered, yet told it wasnt there (when it actuality, it WAS delivered.) These are just a few things...The size of the bedrooms is decent and the layout is nice, which is why I have one star. I never write reviews, but these apartments have been the WORST.
I cant say enough about the Marquis and most especially about the outstanding staff who keep this place humming along. Right from the top, Lindsay and her staff Carly and Michael, including the service manager Jeff, these folks have made my family and I feel very welcome and right at home.
Update Post-Move Out.After my last review, There was progress and I had every intention to update my original review. I had been in communication with the office staff to make sure that everything was in order post move out and was told that we would know by the end of the day if there was anything else we needed to do. (Email correspondence was 7/1)We didnt hear anything until Friday (8/12) when the office staff called to inform us that we were about to be sent to collections for a replacement bill that we never received! Now, I could complain that they were asking us to replace items that should have been updated for the new residents but that is not for me to judge. What I can base my review on is the email correspondence with the office staff indicating that we would hear back, and when I called her out during out 8/12 phone call she asked me to confirm my email, and mumbled something about seeing that there was an error. There was no notice sent to the forwarding address, and no emails sent to ANY of the residents and yet they were prepared to send us to collections for a bill we were more than willing to pay, HAD WE EVER RECEIVED IT!Dont fall for the facade! These are old buildings, you can hear everything and the updates are just as mediocre as everyone elses. Thank goodness for the other reviews they cant remove that will tell you the same thing. I wanted to give them one star...Original Review Below:This is my First time living here and I have NEVER had such a hard time with property management at any other apartment complex I have lived in. They will stick you with charges about things they never told you about and will make you pay them. Also discovered that we are paying significantly more for a non-updated apartment so they will get your money however they want and they definitely wont call you back even if you leave multiple messages. Really disappointed. If you like being woken up at 7am on a weekend - the lawn maintenance staff will do that for you! Weekly! If you like signing paperwork and having it go missing, the office staff will do that for you! (keep copies)Maintenance and Pool are the only positives about this place.
I keep telling myself to hold out on writing a review until Ive lived here a little longer, but 5 months in-depth and I just continue to be impressed!First of all, the entire process was a breeze thanks to our leasing consultant Carly! Interacting with her is always a pleasant experience! The apartment I moved into exceeded my expectations and still continues to do so- it was even more beautiful than the one I toured! The grounds, pool and gym are wonderfully kempt and the staff and community here are wonderful. There has not been an email, work order or simple inquiry not promptly responded to and handled with the utmost professionalism, geniality and expertise. Vincent, Danny, Jeff, and the entire maintenance crew are prompt with their response to any work order you can possibly imagine- if its broken they can fix it!Ample parking, quiet buildings, great location and unparralled amenities- The Marquis on Edwards Mill has only been a positive experience!I do not anticipate needing to update this review!
Great apartment complex! Definitely recommend!
Loved living here for 3 years love the pool and the staff made so great friends as well. I always felt safe and I feel this was the best area in Raleigh $7 uber downtown, cam village or northhills!
Horrible apartments. Hear everything around you. Consistently inconvenienced by the staff doing maintenance. Regret moving here everyday!
I have been at the Marquis at Edwards Mill for a total of 3+ years now and have been very happy. First and foremost, the staff is incredible. The salespersons in the office are always polite and tend to any needs I might have in a pleasant, efficient manner. If I ever have a service problem, it is taken care of many times on the same day I requested it. The service staff is always friendly and eager to attend to my needs. The grounds are always manicured and beautiful. Rarely are the trash and recyclables bins overstuffed. When I had to use the laundry facilities, they were all functioning properly. In general, I always feel very safe on the grounds, and my neighbors are friendly and unobtrusive. The location is very convenient to shopping and access to I40. I feel like I am out in the country sometimes because the NC State property is so close and it is unlikely that more development will take place around me.The staff always goes out of their way to take an extra step above and beyond their duties. If one of the service guys sees me on my way to dispose of my trash, he always offers to take it for me. I have had one of the salespersons meet me outside the office with my postal packages. Once I was locked out of my apartment, and one of the service guys got a key and let me in. I appreciate all of these extra perks very much. The management has also been very receptive to my needs. When I had a rodent problem while out of town for a month, the management arranged for the staff to check t the traps every week for me while I was away. My living area carpet was replaced at my request because the stains were intolerable to me. Stacey and Chris are always open and available to take care of any extraordinary requests.Overall, I consider my decision to downsize and rent a success and as I said before, I am very happy living here at the Marquis at Edwards Mill.
Poorly constructed apartments. The windows are the type that you pull in to clean the outsides, but they are of poor quality and a gust of wind can knock one right into your apartment. Ive had to contact maintenance 3 times about this and Im only 3 months into my lease. Maintenance just puts the window back into its track but the tracks are so degraded that the window falls in again the next time theres wind. My apartment also got a noise complaint for a party in another apartment, were given a formal warning that if we receive another complaint wed be fined as a lease violation and when weve attempted to reach management and dispute the noise complaint (we havent thrown any parties) weve gotten no response. Overall I would not recommend this complex to anyone.
Dont ever expect to be able to use the treadmills or ellipticals in the gym. Theyre always broken and it takes weeks to get them fixed.
Love this place
