Update. Been here a month so far and theyve completed most of the items they failed to complete before moving in, except for the roaches which they still havent sprayed for. After just 24 hours living in these apartments I can say I fully regret moving here. When we moved in we had no ac, roaches, dirty apartment, drawers missing in the kitchen, you cant use the bathroom without getting wet from the constant leak in the ceiling, tub handles leaking and low water pressure, cant wash your hands because water pressure, fridge barley cools a darn thing, every time you use the toilet you risk clogging it, when you call the emergency line you get some call center that relays the message to the individual on call so God help you if you have an actual emergency. Its a shame I paid $1500 for 10 days and then another $1020 come the first of the month for this awful apartment. I hope the next year Flies by.The only positive thing I can say about this place currently is its a nice area oh and the bedrooms have lights. Ya. The office staff was helpful during the move in process. If you can avoid living here I highly recommend doing so, unless you can do an extensive walk through and know what your looking for.If you decide to move here I wish you better luck then Im currently having.May the odds forever be in your favor..Ps. If you decide to move in here you need to go to the post office to get your mailbox key. Yet another thing the office forgot to mention. Also I wont be taking this down.On the bright side they finished most of the problems.
I just wanted to take a minute to applaud and appreciate the management team from the Enclaves at Crabtree. As a tenant during this time of chaos and uncertainty with Covid-19, it has been SUCH a relief to have a management team that cares about the well being of not only myself, but also my daughter. This team has shown effort towards helping the Enclave community with any and all needs we have and have made the transition to new management super easy to communicate with while also showing a genuine desire to improve issues and maintenance in our complex. The manager Melanie has been especially hands on with everyone making sure we are taken care of in a professional and timely manner, providing resources for those most effected by this pandemic, to ensure we have a roof over our heads and a team that will be there for support when needed. I am grateful for the support and hard work each individual at the Enclaves has represented to bettering our community, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to live!
Came here to look for two bedrooms after scheduling a tour. The staff was nice and pleasant. (beware of that one step to get in! 😂) The only issue I had was I was able to schedule a tour of the apartments even though there was none available. Other than that, very pleasant experience.
Recently transfer to this community and Im very happy I did. There is some things that can be better but management has being great and really made me feel at home since day one.
Very professional and great staff! I enjoyed touring with them and would recommend Enclave to any of my friends.
I love my apartment, thank you so much for making my move in experience so Easy!!
Its really nice to have a new company running things at Enclave. I had an emergency in my apartment and called maintenance and they responded quickly and professionally. My problem was quickly repaired and done in a timely manner. Thanks for everything Enclave you have made life here more enjoyable and Safer place to live.
I went to enclave at crabtree a couple of days ago . Unfortunately, they don’t have the apartment I was looking for. They are out one bedroom apartments. The Property Manager Malenies, was amazing! She went above and beyond with her costumer service . I felt understood and welcomed. Even though, they did not have what I was looking for . . . I told her I’ll be back just for her !
Great staff very professional and they speak Spanish which helps alot.
5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for our new management!!! What happened in the past stays in the past but Casa del Sol (as it was previously known) did not have good management but this NEW management that we have NOW is particularly amazing!!! They are really taking good care of us and making renovations to make this a fantastic place to live. I love living here now!!! Do not be dissuade by the negative reviews. Give this new management a chance because they really are amazing!!! Shout out to the PM and her assistant for all the hard work they have put into to make these apartments a fantastic place to live. Se habla español.
Great services, and very affordable, one of the best management companies, and the leasing staff are very awesome peoples.
Barely fixed anything no lights but light switches. Black mold, water damage, power outlets don’t work this apartment complex needs to shut down and remolded honestly .however is under new management and they are trying but yeah definitely needs more help
I would recommend Enclave @ Crabtree. The staff is very professional and courteous.
I would share my experience with enclave but I was told that if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all
Just relocated to the Raleigh area Management made my move a warm welcome experience Im very please how the property is taking care of,
Family lived here from 2013-2019. Moved because needed larger apartment. Vivian and others in office and maintenance guys always so kind and helpful. Alittle older but great value, and always felt safe and homey! Did a great job keeping grounds nice and always made service calls so fast! Definitely consider moving back if a 3 bedroom unit was available!!! Miss Vivian and Elydis so much!!!
This place is very comfortable and is conveniently located. Is under new management with an efficient staff. I recommend it.
Don’t believe the fake reviews... Literally better off living in my car
The new management is AWESOME‼️‼️ Very helpful very understanding. I actually love it here now. They are cleaning this place up and I love it 🥰
Under new Management. I called about a leaky faucet in my bathroom and they responded quickly and fixed the repair. Maintenance was professional, personable and respectful. Thanks for the quick response and follow up call!
The property is under new administration, and is under going a positive renovation for a better quality of life, for all residence Old and New.The new administration team is professional and dedicated to address all previous issues and provide a the appropriate response to achieve a positive resolution
This place is amazing! Malenies Rivera is awesome and the new management has really been changing things for the better!
Ever since the new management took over I’ve had an excellent experience. Very professional staff.
Im in the process of renting an apartment that is in the rehab process. I believe in Mara and have a good feeling that this new management team is going to rectify the situation here. This place has tons of potential, so dont sleep on this place.
The new management is amazing, they are very helpful with them this place is getting better.
If I could give negative stars for this place then I would. The management here is atrocious. The complex is in constant state of disrepair and any work order you place is mostly ignored. As a former resident here I went for a period of well over 3 months without AC. Vivian in the office then refused to do anything about it and just said I should deal with it since the unit is old. And if that isnt bad enough we dealt with leak in the bathroom that spread to multiple rooms in the apartment. It made parts of the unit uninhabitable and also led to the growth of mold. Here once again management refused to address the issue. My cousin whom I was living with became so fed up with the place that he moved out in order to live with his alcoholic girlfriend. But to continue on the issues with this place since I have moved on they have refused to refund my security deposit and dodge my calls and other forms of communication.Warning to all who are thinking of residing here. The low cost of rent is most certainly not worth it. The quality of life here is similar to that of a Russian Gulag except here you actually pay for it.
This has been the worst experience since relocating to NC. Casa Del Sol community has great potential, considering the surrounding apartments. The management is horrible. They have poor professional skills, and lack understand on how to run a management office. Please read the reviews and view the apartment before moving in. Vivian also lies, to feed you false hope. I inquired about the apartment in July and the pool was closed. I moved in Sept, I was told by Vivian the pool just closed for the season, meanwhile its hot and other pools were open. Those are just some lies she tell to make it sound good. The only thing that looks well kept is the gym. The major issue I have is no heat or A/C. I was told by Vivian to go to Walmart and buy a heater. I deal with bugs and flying insects everyday. I have purchase so many chemicals to try and keep these bugs out, but its horrible. The reason why they have bugs is because they do not have exterminators come out to manage the issue. What you see is what you get!!!! And Thats not much.
Great place to live. Under new management the best.
I lived here twice and was pleased with it both times and am thinking of living there again. It did change ownership often.
. No A/C during the summer and constantly having to bail out tubs of water leaking from the bathroom ceiling making my bathroom virtually unusable. When contacting management about these issues it took over TWO MONTHS to get any service which stopped the massive leak for a little while but did not fix our A/C problem. If I had a choice between this place and a pit full of black mambas I would take my chances with the Mambas. I moved out 8 months ago and still have not received my security deposit back and will be contacting the property owners to let them know my disgust with this place.Actual rating is —999999999/5
Terrible. Absolutely horrid place to live. This place was built in the 70s and they havent updated a thing. I lived in my apartment there for 6 months with an unusable bathroom do to a leaking AC unit above it. It is not an exaggeration to say that I put in over 50 service requests in that time period and it never got fixed. I am convinced that the staff only looks at a select number of requests and deletes the others when theyre tired. If it wasnt so close to the end of my lease, I would have been forced to terminate the lease on grounds of uninhabitable conditions. I hope everyone reads this review when you are considering this place and never give them a second glance.
Bad experience on my first day, my apartment was not ready when the office told it would be ready on the day I would move in which it wasn’t. Been living here for almost 3 weeks and yet haven’t had my apartment fix complete. I write emails to the ladies and take pictures on what needs to get done, don’t get a reply and I have to go in personal to the office and let them know. They said communication is the key for everything. I wish I could write a good review but honestly Casa Del Sol needs to work on the maintenance team, every resident would happy and satisfied with them.
I applied to live here a couple weeks ago. The office staff is nice, but rarely ever in the office it seems. After paying the $150 application fees, I was told I could move in a week later because I was on crunch time to move in before my new job started. They kept pushing the date further and further back until I was forced to live somewhere else. Other than the pool, the complex looks pretty run down anyways, so Im thankful it didnt work out. This was a one star experience because its hard to reach them via phone or in person and they dont keep their word.
Ive found this to be a great place to live. Im older and was able to move into a bottom floor, one floor apartment, which are hard to find these days. The staff is warm and professional. The office staff as well as the maintenance guys are thorough and efficient and care about the residents.
I lived in alot of places, but in all honesty this is the best place I have ever lived. Not only are the apartments clean and affordable, but the people at the leasing office are extremely kind and wont hesitate to get out of their way to help you. If I could give more than 5 stars I honestly would.
Two weeks ago the administration changed and know u could see the change 🙏🏼
I waited theee months for toilet and ahower to be fixed. Had a leak in bathroom ceiling from AC for a week it poured out and now they turned me unti credit bureau for not paying last couple of months to live in a dump. Do not ever move in. Not worth hassle or money
Im A current resident. This place is terrible and I plan on escaping as soon as my lease is up. The apartments are outdated, maintenance is horrible. If you need something fixed it may get done this month some time or perhaps next month. The property manager is very rude and extremely condescending and should be removed from her position immediately. I’m now in the process of getting in touch with the property owner to make a formal complaint against her. WRAL new would love to interview her and ask her about the way she manages the property. I mean infested with bugs. Roof leaks for years and growing mold. No a/c for weeks at a time in the middle of the summer. If you’re looking for a nice apartment please run in the other direction. PLEASE!!!!!!
They treated me with respect. Maintenance can be better but overall great experience. Thank you for everything!
I actually do not live at Casa del Sol, or have ever lived there. However, I am local to the area and travel into Casa del Sol 5 days a week. You can take my review as an outside, independent viewpoint as Im not biased by the bad management. And, from what Ive seen, it is bad.I wont get into that as its beyond my purview for the most part. What I will say is that for
Worst experience ever!!!!! This apartment building is infested with roaches, ants, and spiders. Sewer water constantly leaks into the bathroom from the bathtub and toilet to the back room and parts of the living room; which they have done nothing about. They constantly come spray for bugs and it hasnt helped the situation yet. The electricity bill is well over 350 a month for a two bedroom. They are over charged for what they provide. A homeless shelter would be better. All belongings including ( couches, dryer, dressers, matress, including my shoes) has been infested with bugs. We are coming out of this lease empty handed with nothing, being that roaches lay eggs everywhere, all belongings must go. If I could post pictures I would, I MADE SURE I took plenty, DAILY. Do not move here!! All those five stars are fraudulent and is made up advertisement. This place should not be open simply because the living conditions are extremely unsafe and not up to par. I wouldnt be surprised if their was black mold in these apartments.
I love there and it is amazing and I love the community because it is diverse. The people in the office aatend to me in a fast and an effective way. Only concern is wondering when the pool will open?
Overall I have not had the best experience but its alright for the price and place. The office ladies helped alot to solve my problems. The maintanence comes fast so no problem with that. There are things that need to be worked on but I think every apartment has those issues. For my first time renting on my own is not too bad.
(Only gave them 1 star because I couldnt post this review with no stars but thats what they deserve) STAY AWAY!!!! This place is roach infested. Heres my story. I was deployed and the lease I had with a roommate while deployed would end prior to me getting back to the states so I needed to find a place before I got back. I found this place during an online search while in Afghanistan. Had my family member drive by to check it out. Well I ended up signing the lease while I was still away in Aug. I returned to the USA Sept. 16th and upon my return went to the unit they gave me. When I got there it was the small German roaches in all the rooms seemed like everywhere I looked. So I went directly to the office and asked if they could terminate my lease since I had never stayed in the apartment. The manager at the time a Hispanic lady (not sure if she is still there) said she the maintenance people had been working on a unit closer to the office and she assured me there was not a bug problem in this one (BOYYYYYY WAS THAT A LIE). Mind you at this point Ive never stayed in the original unit and would not be staying there. Moved all my things to my brothers house to prevent the roaches from getting in my stuff although the bag of clothes I no longer wanted because I felt the roaches already got into them. So about a week later after continuously calling to check on the status of the new unit I was told the apartment was ready. When I did my first walk-through of the new unit I noticed some dead bigger roaches around but again the manager assured me this one did not have a problem. Now the next day I got the key to move what was left of my things in and there were roaches everywhere. I called my dad and he had someone come bomb the place and again after the bombing and fogging and spraying there was still roaches everywhere. I have a video recording of all this. Now at this point its been about two and a half weeks Ive not stayed in either unit. I went to the office and asked for them to end my lease. The manager denied my request. I called my local JAG office to see my options and was told to request them to end my lease since I was not present when signing the lease. So again I went to the office and told them they could keep the security deposit which was a full months rent and the month that I had already paid. So now they have about $1600 for two months that Im not requesting back even tho I NEVER stayed in either apartment. The manager still refused to let me out my lease. I finally went to the office and returned the key (I have this recorded as well) and moved into a different apartment complex in Raleigh. Thats not even it. They still charged me an addition $1100 which is now on my credit. I should really call the City of Raleigh on this inhabitable property. My advise STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM CASA DEL ROACH I mean SOL. sm
This is the worse apartment complex i have ever lived in mostly because of the Office Manager Vivian she is very unprofessional and rude to her employees i have seen her yell at them and curse them in spanish language in public and also her tenants it is her way or the highway i would never sign another lease with them even it was free. Also it seems she likes to work when she wants to not the specified times the office is suppose to be open on their website which is a huge problem when you are trying to pay rent. cannot wait until the lease is up. I wish i could give 0 stars
I am alive in these apartments, I am very dissatisfied with the maintenance, I spend everything in the summer with my ac decomposed until today they do not repair what service is this very bad, owner of the casa del solI need an answer soon they have their residents in very bad conditions I need an answer soon live in the 4101 deep hollow dr apt 269
Where do I even start........I suppose stating that moving here was a mistake.First and for most my family and I were under the impression that heat and water were included with our apartment. We even verified with management on this. Upon moving in, we soon found out that we were being charged for water, and a few other things that were NOT mentioned! Its not right to give false information to possible tenants for the purpose of filling a space. Not only are we paying more than what we were told we would be, but My family and I have had to deal with ROACHES, Spiders, and a really bad FLEA PROBLEM! Weak areas in the floors....so bad it feels like you may fall through! We endured being bit and having to take matters into our own hands until someone was sent to take care of the issue. To date we are still dealing with ROACHES! The laundry facility here is a joke. Broken machines that leak all of your detergent, some of which dont have doors, and they take your money. We pay a $35 gym fee for a room that has two pieces of equipment in it.......(thats not a gym😒). One of the bathrooms in our apartment gives off a horrible sewage oder. It was fixed supposedly, but we still deal with it to this day. Now on to the heating system.....idk how its set up but the apartment is soooooo cold even with the heat on. Weve winterized the place to no avail. Drafty.........every window gives off a bad draft. Definitely not good with the snowy weather we just got. Speaking of snow, Maintenance doesnt believe in shoveling here....almost slipped and fell with my one year old in my arms trying to go down the snow covered stairs. You know I thought my family and I had something decent upon moving here. But we were mistaken. This place is dated and needs an upgrade badly. I just pray nobody in my family gets hurt here due to their negligence because I can assure you they will be paying us!!!!
I have been living here for about half a year now, and wanted to write a review shortly after I moved in, after being so happy with how friendly and helpful the people in the office were. But I also wanted to wait a while so that I could write a more thorough review about the apartment and make sure that there weren’t any problems. I was initially drawn to Casa del Sol because it is located close enough to the beltline that my commute is short, but far enough away that it’s in a more calm area and is reasonably priced. There were quite a few apartments in this area that I visited when considering where to live, but Casa del Sol stood out from the others for the following reasons: (1) the office staff were extremely friendly and helpful, (2) it was much cleaner than any of the other apartments I visited and the inside of the apartments didn’t smell bad, (3) the apartments had some updated features that others in the area did not have, (4) Casa del Sol had the most closet space, built-in bookshelves, and room for storage, (5) the price per square foot was better than others, (6) the spacing of the buildings was really nice (you aren’t looking right at another building when you look out your window), and (7) after looking up some crime statistics I found that Casa del Sol seemed really safe. Here are some of my thoughts about Casa del Sol after living here for a while:The people:This was my first time renting an apartment, so I didn’t quite know what to expect. Throughout the process, the office staff went above and beyond in explaining everything to me and answering every question I had without making it seem like I was asking dumb questions. Even after I moved in, they have been more than happy to take the time to answer any question I have. I have also been really pleased with the maintenance staff. I have had to put in a maintenance request only one time in all the months I’ve been here, which is impressive considering that these are older apartments. They came basically right away to fix the problem and also took the time to explain it to me when I asked. The apartment:I think that the individual apartments at Casa del Sol vary in terms of which appliances and features are new, and I get the impression that they generally evaluate things when someone moves out and decide what updates to make. In mine, for example, the oven/stove and refrigerator seem newer, and the dishwasher and faucets look a little less modern. They also re-did the bathroom and tile floor before I moved in.Like I mentioned earlier, the amount of storage space was a really big selling point for me. The walk-in closet is bigger than any I’ve seen in an apartment, and there is also a coat closet. If you have a lot of clothes or a lot of kitchen tools, you would have no problem finding places for them. The water pressure is probably a little lower than at a fancier type of apartment, but the temperature is almost immediately to where you set it, and does not get lukewarm.Considering that these are older apartments, I was really worried about having problems with bugs/cockroaches, but thankfully I have not had any issues at all.The amenities:I haven’t and probably won’t use the pool or exercise and laundry facilities, so I can’t say much about those, but from what I can see they all seem operational and the pool looks well kept. I know there are a lot of families who live here, and the kids like the pool a lot. The good thing is that the pool isn’t so close to any apartment that loud noise would cause a disturbance.I don’t have any real complaints, but I do wish that Casa del Sol would take steps to be more environmentally friendly. For example, it would be nice to have recycling receptacles alongside the trash bins. (Maybe Im wrong and there are some nearby, but I take mine to the Jaycee Park drop-off center). I do understand that other things may take priority over this though!Overall, I have been really happy with everything at Casa del Sol, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for lower-cost living in Raleigh.
Stayed here for a years, had a rough start but it became better
Bad service im dont have AC for 5 day and they have no repaired ot yet I already spoke several times and they have not repaired it. The last thing he told me was to open the windows.
Very rude worker, both Vivian and the other one. They are thiefs and very disrespectful. One question what is the corporate number because even when you ask they do not want to give it to anyone
She one of the best customer service agent I always stop in the office while she at work listen to our complaints and if the problems not solved she will call and tell us when the problem will be taking care of .
Dont fix stuff when it needs it wait to lone
Love it
Very nice attention when you arrive at the office thanks for the way you attend to your residents ❤️❤️❤️
They are very attentive, the truth, they helped me in everything very kind, everything easy fast, they serve you with great pleasure and I recommend them los
They are very attentive and very kind in terms of giving information about the apartments, I recommend them👍
I thank the new people of this apartmental site because until today I am very satisfied with their service especially to Miss Melany
Thank you for being so good, people treat you well, they are responsible for everything
Very friendly. Especially Malenies, price is comfortable, good attention. .
Your kindness and patience are appreciatedBy helping them in the acquisition of this placeBlessings
The new company likes to help everyone
Everything is changed
The person in charge of the apartments when you go looking for apartments attends to everything you give but since you sign the contract. You screwed. Because then they dont even listen to you. And if she attends to you, she receives you in a rude way. I went to ask her why they raised my car and she said that she couldnt answer me and I told her that she is in charge and she said that she brings a jeep, not a tow truck. And hes always in a bad mood. I dont understand how they put that kind of bitter people. I think it brings problems from home to work.
Do not rent here is horrible !! The lady of the office is so rude to everyone 🌎 my friend lives Ahy and they never repair anything and she cant call The Office to ask them when they will get the repair because the woman is ready to shout horrible place the owners need do something about it.
Some of my daughters live here and I love the place
New company and there are changes
