They had me back on the road with a new catalytic converter in just few hours! Gary was also able to help me pin point another issue with my car without charging me extra which was awesome. Great place, they know there stuff. They may quote you more than some shops, but the price very much shows in there quality. They inform you well if theres an abnormality with anything on your car, and they do good, quality work.

Had a hole in the exhaust, I pulled up around 5pm they had me in and out in under 25 minutes with a steel pipe replacement with labor at a great price. This shop has been around for 40+ years and the gentleman at the front counter explained what i needed and didnt try to add unnecessary parts. The is a very trustworthy shop. I will return again because of this.

Fantastic shop with friendly service. I come in to have a custom exhaust done on my Jeep and left with an exhaust that exceeded my expectations. The staff is very knowledgeable and are willing to take the time to give you what you ultimately want. Fully custom, welded, stainless, including H-pipe. I would recommend them for any other services you need as well, they truly know their stuff! Start to finish in the time he said it would take as well.

Great shop the mechanics were honest and very knowledgeable. I was kinda happy with the stock GT exhaust but wanted more sound. Eli pointed me in the right direction. Axle back came a day ago called the next morning brought the car in, was out in 30 min. Car sounds great and looks even better! If I do anything else with the car I know where to bring it.

Came here not knowing a single thing that i really needed to do for my car. After a few minutes they not only fixed my exhaust leak, they showed me a whole different issue i didn’t know of that my tips were melting my diffuser. Great service, fair pricing. You get quality workmanship for the money youre spending; these guys stand by their work. Eli and Gary can get you pretty much any sound you want out of your car, theyve both been in the field for a very long time and they know what works. This isnt your typical custom exhaust shop; it puts the competition to shame. If I ever need to change the sound of my Focus ST (or any other vehicle I own) Ill bring it here again.

They tried to charge me $1600 to repair my jeep commander. Said it need complete front end. And some more parts on the back because it was squeaking. I had them right out what parts I needed and I took to another company. Which said it only need a 1 $39 part for the front.Before I took it to another company. I ask them what I should do. And they said if moneys a problem. I would start with the back which was $600 then come do the front for $1000. I wonder why they said that you guys are big time rip offs

I recently had an exhaust system installed on my 2014 Dodge Charger. Previously, I had an exhaust installed on my Lincoln LS. Both systems were installed by Eli who did an amazing job on both cars. The Lincoln required a lot of fabrication and the workmanship was second to none. I have read other reviews about how Eli was a true craftsman and he definitely lived up to that reputation. If you want someone to do custom exhaust work on your car, with a high attention to detail and that will treat it as if it were their own, then Eli is the guy for you!

These guys are great. I had them put new brake shoes on my truck and they showed me that the front did not need to be replaced yet. Saved me money. They installed ceramic shoes as a high quality default and after a week or two the ceramic shoes squeaked too much for my liking (worked great) and I went back and they replaced the ceramic shoes with metallic shoes for no charge. Now I do all of my auto repair business with them. Always great.

I put a message on a local Facebook page asking for suggestions for upgrading my exhaust to make it sound better. Within minutes Eli messaged me and we went back and forth for a little while. This morning I popped in just to talk with him to go over details. Very quickly he had my car on the lift to show me his skills and what he can do. I was very impressed. I have an appointment next week and I cant wait to see what they do. I will update with pictures and the final assessment of pricing and servicesUPDATE: I had the muffler replaced and calipers painted. Eli did a great job and I would highly recommend. Everything delivered on time and as promised.

I spent 2 months researching my car issues. I replaced every part I could on my own that were recommended by Mercedes mechanics. I have been a mechanic for 35 years. I asked your shop for a test of my catalytic converters because my issue could be caused by clogged cats and this was the next test in troubleshooting. Instead I was belittled and told about how costumers use inferior parts ( I used all OEM parts) and that I needed a compression test at a cost of $500. This immediately told me they did not want to work on my car. An astronomical charge for a compression test of 6 cylinders that only takes less then 45 minutes to change the 12 plugs. No need to argue at that point since the compression test had already been accomplished last week. Took my car and left._____________________________________Mr. AndersonI guess thank you for your free diagnosis which I didnt ask for, but would have gladly paid for. I simply wanted to check my cats for blockage and was more than willing to pay for that too. I was immediately met with resistance. I called ahead with what I wanted. I was told to bring it in, so i did. Indeed i have the knowledge to do it myself but crawling under my car was not an option for me. Hence the reason I brought it to you. What you charge for whatever is up to you. It took me an hour and a half to check my compression myself in my garage. BTW, the shop I did take it to, charged me $100 to check my cats. And $600 to replace both of them. Car runs great. Good luck to you sir.

I had a custom muffler and exhaust piping for my 1988 Supercharged MR2 installed today. I welded up sections of it myself at home but quickly discovered that most of it was beyond my expertise.I simply could not believe the artisanship of Eli. This is easily the best muffler shop I have ever visited.I had most of the parts that I brought to the shop, three v-band clamps (we used two) and a mandrel bent 90.Elis finished fabrication was more than excellent. I had Eli install a cat-back exhaust on my 2016 Mustang GT last week, and the install looks fantastic. The cat-back wasnt even designed for my model, but for a 2018+, and was delivered by the vendor with damaged, bent tips. Eli and another guy at Auto Mech were able to bend the tips back into shape, then Eli got the exhaust hung, and centered in the aftermarket Roush valance with no issues.You can tell when you walk in, that Auto Mech is a serious shop that takes serious pride in their work. The level of cars that are in and around the shop indicate that people trust them with their babies. The install was quick, painless, and didnt break the bank. Id definitely use Auto Mech again!

I have been using their services for about a year for both my husband and myself and also referred them to my family as well. I was really disappointed with their service today when I found out they charged my husband $100 for an inspection and for adding freon for my A/C. Completely unreasonable price for the services rendered. I’ve taken my car for A/C problem previously and this time, the mechanic was telling my husband to change all the unnecessary parts that we know that is not the problem. Not sure if they had a change of ownership recently but we are disappointed we lost a trustworthy mechanic. My husband said that the guy at the reception has been changed. The previous person was wonderful and very helpful. Needless to say that we won’t be returning for their business.————————————————————————Upon reading the owner’s passive aggressive reply, I’d like to add on to my review.First of all, I don’t understand why you are including my personal information on a very public page. That just shows how unprofessional this place is in handling issues.We are well aware of the “reality” of our car, which is why we discussed it with the gentleman that was at the counter last time that we are not looking to put in a lot of money in the car as we are looking to upgrade in a year or so. We wanted to just get the freon added as temporary solution.Also, we have checked out the battery issue days before we took it to this place. The helpful associate from Auto Parts checked the battery for free thoroughly and told us the battery is not the issue. We get a FREE general inspection even when we take our car for an oil change. And when the mechanic here “checked” the battery, the mechanic came out within less than 2 minutes to tell my husband that he needed a new battery. The guy at the auto parts took at least 10 min to check. I guess somehow I should’ve expected an inspection cost of $100.Also, my husband walked out telling the receptionist that he will never be back here so I am not sure how you perceived that as he was okay with the services when you have observed the phone call he never made to anyone. 😂

Ugh why didn’t I see the below recent reviews before visiting this place. Hidden fees, and make threats to keep the car if not paid, EVEN when told not to do the work. I love Oviedo, but shops like this drag it down. Beware and avoid!!

I tried this garage because it looked clean and organized from the outside. They however did not service my car properly. I followed up to the ownership - just out of courtesy. Didnt demand more work. Didnt demand any returned money. Simply shared my experience with the owner and asked for help to understand how things could have gone so wrong. Never got any real answers. The owner did return emails. He promised follow up information. And never followed through on his promise. I ended up having a different garage re-do the work. Between me and the 2nd garage we are both at a loss as to what happened because none of it makes sense. In the end I was out of pocket for Nearly $2,000 on a job that should have been less than $1,000. EVERYBODY makes mistakes. (Certainly I have) But I dont judge folks on the mistake they make BUT on how they RECOVER from that mistake. I was not happy with the recovery or lack thereof. _ Additional - You could have refused the request for service under the conditions of me bringing my own parts to the table. However you did not. The car was not right when i got it back but I didnt say anything because I honored your condition of no warranty on the labor if i brought the parts. But the car was not right and I dealt with it. Until the afternoon the brakes failed. The front passenger caliper was not working at all. after your technicians worked on it. i never blamed you guys. I never threw you under the bus. I addressed my concerns with you. And have given a fair assessment of the situation from my side of the events - which is what this forum is for. Let the public read the details and decide on his or her own. Im sorry if it reflects poorly on your business. if you have satisfied customers they will return. i was not happy with the work I got. Nor from your lack of follow up. Again. I never asked for money back from you and I never asked for any additional labor to be done. YOU promised you would talk to your guys ( after they came back from their vacation - you could have called them on their phones but chose not to do so ) and the day they returned came and went and i have not heard back from you on anything. i followed up with you saying I had learned some details about the situation, but before I released the information i knew - I wanted to hear from you about what your team said. You did not return that note. you have not followed up on your promise to find out more about the situation. So my post here is accurate. you were not present in the shop the day I dropped the car off. your employee did not follow your policy. none of that is my fault. i asked for a service and in doing so said specifically to Eli I know you guys hate requests like this and you are welcome to say no - but are you willing to use the parts I have to change out rotors and pads. I showed you the spec sheet from RockAuto demonstrating they were OEM parts. But the car was wrong when it was finished. and EVEN my wife said that car is NOT right when she picked it up. you could have avoided me posting anything had you simply said - My guys dont know what happened or maybe my guys made a mistake can i compensate you in any way I would have said no and walked away. There were LOTS of opportunities for this to have gone well. But you met my concerns with a lack of help. Thats why you get this post. Also you are continuing this rather than just making a apology. Even if you dont feel like I am offered an apology. as if this is my fault. if you were smart - you would just apologize here and let it go. but you will continue to demonstrate on this public forum the opposite of the tried and true tenant of small business The Customer is Always Right. But instead you are choosing to demonstrate to your customers that if they are not happy with the work - you wont respond in a positive productive manner. Not the best decision....again.

I had a resonator and muffler delete done on my 2017 Nissan Altima 3.5 SR which was all fabricated by Eli which was fantastic he made sure to center everything and triple check before welding anything down cool guy to talk to and is an awesome fabricator, and the car sounds fantastic Eli even put the factory tips so it has a sleeper look. Had some custom exhaust work done on my Hemi Jeep Grand Cherokee by Auto Mech & Muffler. The service and quality of the work performed by this shop is outstanding. The technician Eli who did the work is a true craftsman. The price was fare as compared to other estimates I received. This shop uses quality materials. The custom catback that was fabricated, installed and welded up with my provided muffler was stainless which is exactly what I was looking for. I found that most shops use aluminized steel which has the potential to rust. Really happy with the look and sound of my new exhaust. I highly recommend Eli and the gang at Auto Mech and Muffler.

Been using these guys for sometime for various service issues, but most recently purchased four Nexan Radian HT tires in which one of them failed for road force and then discovered there was no warranty other than the normal tread ware warranty. I then purchased a replacement and not more than 2 weeks later another tire failed for road force as well. (2 out of 5!) When brought to Dans attention and without bringing the vehicle in, he stated to state the vehicle must be faulty. They lost a good customer on this go-around and I learned a good lesson about commercial foreign tires as well. Use caution when buying tires from Auto Mech & Muffler and make sure to ask about warranties.
