When I first moved to Broomfield I checked out ~10 BJJ gyms in the area. Jubera had hands down the best gym for both instruction and value.

I moved from Iowa to Colorado in June of 2020 and started shopping around for Jiu-Jistu gyms. I trained for a couple years at Iowa City Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Jason Clarke, and he recommended I check out Matt Juberas gym (they both are Rebeiro/Six Blades affiliates). It was a very smooth transition going from ICBJJ to Jubera JJ. Both Matt and Jason know each other well, so it helped to have that connection when transitioning from gym to gym. The instructors are awesome, no egos, everyone is looking out for each other to improve each other. I highly recommend this Jiu-Jitsu gym if you want quality training, discipline, and learning.

As a beginner I have been welcomed by the other students and staff. NEVER have I felt out of place, intimidated, or overlooked. Professor Jubera and his remarkable staff are seemingly everywhere during instruction and training. They give every student deep attention at the level that they understand and regardless of rank or aptitude. Knowing your first and last name, what physical limitations you may have or what your end goals are all part of your experience at Jubera Jiu Jitsu. You are NOT a number or random student expected to fall in line or leave. It is truly YOUR journey.The facilities are clean, safe and spacious. The kids nights ( such as food and black-light Nerf-blaster) are a bonus that further enhance this fine establishment.

Highly recommended academy. I was graciously accepted into the gym while on vacation and just had an absolute blast! The students were a true reflection of the professors. . .very helpful, friendly, and generous with their time. While on there for a couple hours, it was incredible to see the high degree of technique taught and performed by students of all level. I certainly hope to have an opportunity to visit again! We started with my daughter training here. After watching from the sidelines for a couple years, my younger kids and I all joined too. They do an amazing job with the kiddos. They definitely keep it fun. Also, all the women are so supportive and I am in love with BJJ now. Currently they are doing online zoom classes and those are great too. I highly recommend Jubera JJ to anyone interested in Jiu Jitsu.

Weve really enjoyed having our children in this school. They are learning and practicing great self defense. The school is clean. The instructors are nice and make it fun and encourage the students to work very hard.

I trained with Matt Jubera for roughly a year. Even when the mats were filled you felt like you were getting individualized instruction. I recently began training again after a few years off and I instantly fell back into the techniques i learned from Prof. Jubera. I Cant recommend his school enough. Its a destination spot for BJJ in the Denver area.

Professor Jubera is truly a rare talent when it comes to his knowledge of Brazilian Jiu Jistu, as well being one of the top instructors in the state of Colorado. I can honestly say that this school is by far one of the best ive trained at!! I was only there for 3-4 months but the impact and teachings that Professor Jubera had on me will remain for years to come. His teaching style is perfect! Everything was made easy to learn and remember. I will miss his teachings and will most definently visit any time i find myself back in town. If you are visiting the Broomfield CO area or surrounding areas i highly recommend you stop in for a session. He and his students are top notch and friendly as all get out :)

I am probably Professor Juberas most inconsistent consistent student. When the gym first opened up I took about two lessons within a span of two weeks. After those two weeks, my performance increased in a way I never thought could happen and I was immediately hooked on his lessons. The way the Professor teaches is very good too. With a combination of easy-to-understand techniques and a personable attitude, the material taught is not just easily retained but also very informative. He monitors each student as well to make sure everybody understands and is able to apply each technique. Jubera Jiu-Jitsu is definitely one of the best places to train in Colorado.

I was fortunate enough to have the privilege of training with Professor Jubera while visiting Broomfield on business. Im always nervous about walking into a strange environment but I was put as ease immediately with a very welcoming greeting from the professor. Although I only have 3 years experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I do have over 30 years experience in martial arts, and I do think I can recognize talent when I see it. Professor Jubera has the goods. Not only is he extremely talented and skilled, it became apparent he has the attributes of a great teacher; the desire to make people better, empathy, and the ability to articulate concepts in a way they can be consumed easily (even by a slow learner like me :) ). His martial spirit also shines through in his students. They too made me feel very welcome while pushing me to my limits on the mats. The gym is spacious with good parking and plenty of mat space. I look forward to any opportunity to train with Professor Jubera in the future.

I started 4 months ago with plenty of energy but no experience. This academy is full of humble, patient students that keep a great attitude, this is expected from the top down. Professor Jubera is careful to ensure the details of each drill are followed and the results are amazing.This experience has been better than expected, the sport is remarkably fun whether your goals are self-defense, fitness or the challenge of playing chess with the body.I cant say enough good things about Professor Matt Jubera. I have read about his accomplishments and decorations. I was not expecting to learn from someone so approachable and fun. He is careful to bring each of his students up to a better level. With his patience and honest feedback I have learned the holes in my game and am slowly moving into being a Jiu Jitsu practitioner. My game has moved from being a spastic defender to a more aware and smooth thinker on the mat. I have a long road ahead but this is the way to learn it.

I wasnt training that long the first time I found myseft at Jubera BJJ but even as a 4 strip white belt I could see and tell a major deffernce in his teaching style. Professor Jubera was very friendly, helpful and understanding of a young felmale green horn. I was luckly enough to train under him for a short period of time. In that time I felt my game jump leaps and bounds!! I was even able to earn my blue belt under him :) If I didnt end up moving out of the state I would abosulty be a student for life. And I will definetly make sure whenever im back in town for a visit to see my favorite Professor!!

He was super friendly, taught an awesome class, gave lots of 1:1 instruction, and the overall atmosphere at the gym was ideal.The facility is brand new, new mats, very clean, well lit, and had quite a bit of mat space.I come from a Ribeiro gym in Ohio and currently train at Drysdales in Las Vegas and highly recommend Juberas place. Professor Jubera is not just a great teacher, hes an active competitor who is known throughout the state for his abilities on the mat. His own instructor, Xande Ribeiro, is a multiple-time world champion competitor in BJJ, and Xande himself has said that of all his black belts, Juberas game is most like his own. Matt takes care to ensure that new students feel welcome and the academy itself is super clean and has a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
