Ive been coming to this Tuffy Tire & Auto Service for a few years now. When I originally started coming here Nina was the manager and she was helpful but Raphael has been far more superior when it comes to knowledge and customer service. I now recommend all my friends and family to this location. Therefore, if you want an honest opinion, quality work at fair prices then I would suggest trying this shop out. O2B Kids in Oviedo - This was our first time bringing the vans here. On this particular day Ralph was at the shop by himself. He was so professional and extremely courteous. He finished both vans quickly. I would recommend coming here for all your service needs. I give them an A+ rating. We will definitely be coming back.

Ralph was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional but most importantly HE IS HONEST! Being a young woman and not knowing much about cars, I tend to get taken advantage of. I originally went to another shop and was told I need to pay $800 for my service but Ralph worked with me and got me taken care of for a fraction of that. He was super helpful and I literally can’t recommend him or his shop enough. I came in at 2:30 on a Saturday when they close at 4. He started to set me up with an appointment on a Monday, but right before I pulled out he tapped on my window and said we can take care of it now. I will never go anywhere else and I’ll make sure anyone I know gives him business.

My experience at Tuffys was phenomenal. I’ve been to several Tuffys in Orlando but the customer service at the Oviedo location was a pleasant change in automotive service. Ralph is the manager there, it was my first time meeting him and you’d think I’m a regular. My car was taken care of within the time frame he told me initially and the price was exactly as quoted. He fixed my alternator and changed the oil while they were working on the car. Going to Tuffys at Oviedo and working with Ralph and the team is similar to having a family member thats mechanic. He’s earned my trust and I’d definitely recommend using their service. Its hard to find honest shops and mechanics, this locations definitely has them! I’m impressed and will be returning! I never leave reviews but it was only right I share my experience with this location.

This place is amazing! They will take good care of you and make sure you don’t overpay for things. I own a Mercedes and they gave me by far the best price for tires and replaced them in an hour. I would’ve spent at least $300 more and waited multiple hours if I went to the dealership. If you want an honest place to take your car this is it.

They probably saved me over 50% of what I would have paid at Firestone and they are so friendly and informative. Even showed me the actual parts that were bad unlike Firestone. Literally got new tires all 4 for 200 bucks. Ralph is awesome. Ill come back here for as long as I live in Florida!

I had new brakes installed and alignment back earlier this year, FEB 2020 to be exact. Last month they started making noise and obviously didnt sound right. I called and spoke to Ralph and he was helpful from the get-go. Mind you the entire store got new management and staff and they are much friendlier than before. I had a problem with my front wheel making grinding noises. The guys at Tuffy quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem, my hub assembly had to be replaced. They fixed my car and it drives/rides much better and the noise is gone. Ralph and his team did a great job. They were professional, competent, fast, and honest. I would recommend their services to anyone with automotive repair and maintenance needs and will definitely use them again.

My car was having lots of problems with the engine. I had my car there for a couple of days for Ralph to do his thing and my car is in better shape than I bought it a couple years back. He wanted to make sure he gave me a car that I can trust to drive and he put a lot of his time and effort into making sure that came true.

I went to them by word of mouth, after the Toyota Dealership was charging me some crazy amount to fix my car. Well, I just want to say that within a matter of 2 hours (from arrive time to leaving), my car was fixed and I got such amazing/fair pricing! I highly recommend you check them out before any other auto repair store and ESPECIALLY before any dealership. They got my family and Is business from this point on 😊

My car was overheating. I had been stuck in two different locations before I got to Tuffy. They were so friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to buy my own part and agreed to install it for me. They had estimated the labor time to be 2 1/2 to 3 hours but finished it for me while I waited, which didnt take as long as they thought. They honored what they told me was the hourly labor cost and got me on my way in a very short amount of time. I am so grateful that I chose Tuffy. Will definitely return for their help the next time it is needed. Can you believe they even offered me their cell phone number if I got stuck again? The true definition of customer service!!!

Ralph and his crew were great! I had been dealing with some hesitation while driving and idle. I brought in my car and needed a fuel injector replaced. They were very fair and professional. It was a refreshing experience to deal with an honest mechanic and business.

Car Model: 2019 BMW X3A friend of mine refereed me to see Ralph for my car issues, and I am SO glad she did. The moment I spoke to him I could tell he was being transparent and honest with me about my car issues. That is the #1 trait I look for whenever I have to look for a new car shop for repairs. Ive had so many problems in the past with car shops trying to nick and dime me and he 100% did not do that which was wonderful. He went out of his way to explain my car issues to me in a way that I would understand, and was extremely friendly and kind about it all. He gave me all his recommendations and stayed in communications with me throughout the process of my car problems. Not only was I extremely satisfied with the entire experience, but so was my entire family. We all felt like we found our new go-to car guy. My 2016 Ford Explorer needed a water pump. The dealer was charging $3,000... no kidding and no exaggeration. A co-worker suggested Ralph. Her confidence in suggesting him was super convincing and I am hard to convince. Ralph was professional and spoke to me in as common a language as possible. Ralph was very nice and had my car ready when he said it would be ready. Oh, and for 1/2 the price! He walked me through all the charges and I was pleasantly surprised when he checked on me a few days later. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT**Had a number of services done over the years, nothing major. Towards the end, quality seemed to decline. Found out that they had put on my oil drain plug with an air tool, making it near impossible to get off without stripping/breaking the bolt (1 star quality). That crew has been dismissed, clearing the air.The new management team made sure that i am being taken care of, and going to schedule an appointment to remedy the plug. I feel relieved and confident in the new crew. Got an alignment and brakes done today with an appointment: Fast, courteous, friendly, and good prices. A++ score for Oviedo, 5 STARS!PS - Double check your Groupons - they may have changed with the new Mgmt...sometimes that happens.

Just called this place to schedule an appointment for alignment, oil change, and also wanted to ask how much they would charge to replace the high beam bulbs in my car. I was talking when all of the sudden I was interrupted by a lady (not the guy who initially answered the phone) who started speaking Spanish to me. Im aware I have an accent but I speak, understand, and during the eleven years that Ive been running my business, I havent had any problem communicating with my clients. I realize not everybody is good at understanding foreign accents, but I would have expected this person to at least say something like: Please wait a moment, let me get someone who can help you better instead of just leaving me talking by myself. Very rude and very poor public relations skills!!As per the reply provided by the store, I am pretty sure it was the one located at 385 W Mitchell Hammock Rd (attached picture of the call from my cell), so I think it would be in your best interest to make sure who answers the phone at your store...

I was hesitant at first going to a franchise auto service location, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had read some positive reviews on Google and decided to try it out for an oil change. They had no problems accepting online coupons and I got a really good price for my high mileage car. They gave me a rather extensive list of repairs, which I passed by another mechanic to verify. He verified that the list was fairly accurate knowing my cars history and that the prices were reasonable. So, I returned to get my front tires and tie rod ends replaced as well as an alignment. I called in the AM and they ordered the parts and fixed everything all within 2 hours. They were very prompt considerate to my schedule and were honest about what needed to be repaired and what could wait. They even had a student discount, which is extremely helpful for me being on such a tight budget. I will definitely be returning to this location.

I dont know how this place has 4.0 stars. Maybe because they had other employees back then. I went there twice for the same service. The first time they told me that my brakes was done both of them and my front router was done. They told me it would cost $269. I went again a few weeks later for the same service and now they told me $549 but all the brakes were done and both router disc needed to be changes. I knew at that pount they wanted to scam me so I left. I went to my local mechanic they told me the brakes were in good condition and only the front router needed to be changed. They changed my front brake pads and front router for $229. What a deal!!! Ill never go to Tuffys again. The lady working there is a complete theif and yyou spent 3 hours watching tv before they even look at your car. Once i told them i wasnt going to change anything, they left my car suspended in the air for 30 minutes to go do an oil change in another vehicle before putting my tires back together. What a service?

A good straight shooting mechanic can be hard to find. JR and Greg here at Oviedo Tuffy have always done me right. Honest guys. Upfront pricing without surprises. They have EARNED my trust and recommendation.

Theyve been taking care of my Navigator for years now. Less expensive than the dealer. Closer than the dealer. Trust worthy and transparent with their pricing and recommended services. Greg, the location manager, is very friendly and goes the extra mile to take care of his customers.

Would definitely NOT recommend using this mechanic. They have proven themselves dishonest and unreliable and are after your money, even pressuring you to do services and repairs that are not necessary. The new owners have a very different approach than the old ones. Rather than a consistent mechanic shop that would work with you on price and issues, the new owners will give you the run around and are not trustworthy.

I took my car to the Oviedo Tuffy, which is under new ownership, and was very impressed. Henry, the store manager, assessed my problem quickly and efficiently. The price they quoted was extremely competitive and the work was done in a timely fashion. It was clear to me that they now have a good attitude and are doing their best to treat customers well.

Ive been going to this location for 10 years. Theres new management now and its definitely hurting the business. I scheduled an appointment online for recommended work (an alignment and new tires). I show up for the appointment, then to find out that they have no trace of me ever making an appointment, which is ridiculous because I had the confirmation for the appointment pulled up on my email. The guy helping me says hmm....he never told me about that.... Im annoyed but proceed to make another appointment for the next day at 10am because the guy behind the counter said he could have the tires in first thing in the morning. I show up the next morning at my appointment time, the same exact guy is working the counter and has no recollection of ever interacting with me the day before. The tires arent there. He doesnt know when theyll be in and asks if I want to wait. Im livid at this point, but I tell him Ill wait a few minutes to see when the tires will be delivered. He makes a phone call, and tells me theyd be here by 12:30 that day (sure...). They called a couple hours after I had left to tell me the tires had come in and that they had a couple of guys on standby waiting to put them on my car, but I never went back. I gave them 10 years of business and was about to drop hundreds of dollars on tires and services, but the sheer lack of communication and lackadaisical service at Tuffy has forced me to take my money elsewhere.

Made an appointment for an 11 am oil change. After getting there before 11, we had to wait almost 2 hours for a simple oil change to be completed. Would definitely not recommend.

Got an oil change there a few weeks ago. OIL DRAIN PLUG NOT PROPERLY REPLACED! LOST ALL MY OIL AND POSSIBLY DAMAGED MY ENGINE WHEN MY OIL DRAIN PLUG FELL OUT! I’ll be there in the morning for reimbursement of the cost of new oil and filter and discussion about how to cover inspection for possible resulting damages. WILL UPDATE REVIEW WITH INFORMATION ABOUT RESOLUTION OFFERED.

Had these guys install a set of shorty headers and high flow cats on my 2010 Dodge Challenger. Not only did they do the install, they also welded an adapter into the headers to allow me to run a wideband o2 sensor. They provided great service, took care of my car, all for a great price (They where $1200 cheaper then the other guys down the street). Ill be taking the wife and kids cars here from now on. I highly recommend these guys

Ive taken my 2001 Impala here three times so far. The first was for a broken harmonic balancer which shredded my timing belt. They not only helped me get it off the busy highway, but also honestly repaired my vehicle for a competitive price.The second time was having my radiator and hoses replaced, along with replacing the thermostat for free. They did this for $1050 and it works like a charm. Picked up my vehicle the next day.Im here right now having a minor coolant tube replaced for free. I highly recommend this shop and will be bringing any vehicle I own to this facility.

It’s a shame that I have to make this bad review because I have always had a good experience with tuffy Oviedo but on my last visit was less than professional. I recently got my alternator changed and after that my car had been giving all sorts of electrical problems. The dome lights and dash warning lights come on when the Ac is on and the car will turn off and on intermittently when idle and yet the technician assured me this is normal! When I asked if a brand new alternator was bought the technician completely ignores the question. I was charged 265 for a rebuilt alternator when I can get one new for about the same price oem. Next time I will take my business elsewhere

I will never ever go here again.. they supposedly fixed a radiator hose.. well nope clamp was never but on the hose and engine overheated because hmmm coolant was everywhere... now we take it back for a free oil change and mysteriously the clamp is broken and coolant all over the ground... If you can go somewhere else go..

Managers and technicians were professional and friendly. I felt confident that I could trust them to repair my car, and that I really mattered to them. Shop waiting area was clean and bright. Repairs were clearly explained to me by the service manager, the technician took my car for a test drive to make sure it was working well, and when I left I felt confident. I will definately recommend Tuffy Oviedo to my friends.
