Garden Gate is a real gem in the sea of horrible OKC apartments. The apartments themselves are spacious, have unique and charming layouts, and wonderful amenities. I’ve submitted two work orders, both times I specified they were low priority, but they got fixed the very next day. The grounds are always kept nice and clean and overall it’s a great vibe in the community. A good mix of retirees and young families makes for a calm, quiet environment.

Amazing place to live, not sure why it got some bad reviews! Front office staff is patient, kind and a joy to speak with. They are very attentive to their residents. Since we have moved in everything we addressed like small little things (ice machine not working, small crack in window) has been fixed right away or as fast as they could. I am pleased with the experience, the neighborhood and its conveniently located near just about everything you could need.

Moved here 4 months ago - during the pandemic! We love it here. Location is great, staff is great (particularly Tonya in the front office). We’ve had 2 work orders submitted and both were completed within an hour of submission. Couldn’t be happier with GG!

Lived here for one year. Loved it. Maintenance is great, they respond immediately and fix it. Friendly office staff and helpful.Quite and Safe neighborhood. Great location, close to 7/24 supermarket, Banks and Lake Hefner.

Love it here, quiet neighborhood and new management is very helpful. Maintenance guy even showed up on a Sunday when A/C wasnt working properly, if they have to order a part they keep you up to date on the status of the repair and follow up with a review as to if you were happy with the service and time repair took. Highly recommend!

I lived here for four years it was a great place. But the key word in that statement is was. It is under new management and it is terrible.!!!! I cant wait to get out of here. There never used to be many vacant units now there are lots. Everyone is leaving. Units that used to rent for 1000. a month are now 1400. They consider it an upgrade to tear out the carpet and paint the cement floors. What they call a friendly staff is anything but that. They are rude, and could care less about the residents. The whole place is crawling with mice and rats!!! You can drive through the neighborhood at night and see them running around the streets. They turned the lights off where the mailboxes are so if you dont get home till after dark you have to try to get your mail in a dark area with the rats.weve been without running water for more than nine hours on more that one occasion. Giving it one star was more than it deserves. You will regret moving here.

Bedroom flooded three times, mice (caught 7), and horrible maintenance manager. Maintenance enters your apartment with no notification. Every time it rained water poured through the stove hood and all over the stove. Never fixed. Major HVAC issues; HVAC tech was very prompt and professional. Overall, not worth the price.

We have lived here all most 5 years and love it. Love the layout, two car garage, the area and community feeling. New owners are making a lot of improvements.

**update to review- we ended up living here for 6 years total, the only reason we moved out is because we bought a house-Original post- Lived here two years now. The new property owners are fantastic. Always seeking to make things right and making a ton of improvements throughout the whole property. Apartment complex next door is a bit of an eyesore, but other than that the Patio Homes are great!Here for three full years now. Just starting year four. Oklahoma Investment Properties continues to make onsite improvements. Changing out windows, landscaping, building a clubhouse, repairing retaining walls, replacing air conditioners.

Rent from someone else. In the time we rented there, management was less than helpful. Cost was more than what you would expect in return. There are so many other better choices out there, do your research and look elsewhere.

This was one of the worst places I have ever lived. The place smelled of animal urine when we first moved in. I had to pay a cleaning company to come out and professionally clean the unit. If you made a maintenance request, it took weeks for them to come. Upon move out, they sent a bill stating that we had to pay extra costs to replace the carpet, when the carpet was filthy before we moved in. Do not move in here!!

Terrible place to live maintenance crew is slow and does not want to take care of necessary things in apartment electric bill was outrageous over 200 dollars in the summers managers did nothing to help and they charged me 275 on my deposit at move out for cleaning even though the place was clean do move here you will be sorry

This by far the worst place to apply at ! My boyfriend did a application and they made us put a deposit down $600 . A day or two after we turned in the application my boyfriend lost his job ! So they called us a week later and said we are approved??🤔 i didn’t understand how they approved him and he’sJobless ! I told them he doesn’t have a job and they still kept my deposit ! If you do apply please do not give them a deposit!
