The place was clean and calm. However I dislike my nails, I got acrylic full set with gel polish and payed like more that 70$. I had inspo pic and showed it to the person who did my nail, she was very kind and all but my nail does not look anything like to the photo and I hate how it look. This was my first time being in a salon getting my nails done, I hate how my first experience is not that good. (The way she put acrylic and preparing for doing nails was so good but the design? I’m not sure, I honestly am thinking of not going to any salon any more cause it made me feel bad and wasting my time and money) also the person who did my nail did not know how to speak English that I could not communicate with her.

Im disappointed.. I paid $75 for these nails.. all of them are uneven in length and thickness and the french doesnt even look right. The lady in the front did say that they could fix whatever was wrong with them. But they would’ve had to do a whole new set to fix the problem and im sure they wouldnt do that..Complete waste of time and money. I wont be back

I’ve always liked going to this nail salon because they’re very clean and gave good customer service. This particular day the nail tech treated me like I didn’t exist. When she started to assist me she didn’t even acknowledge my presence. I spoke to her and she continued to ignore me. I thought she didn’t hear me so I say”hello” again.. still no response. I couldn’t believe this type of treatment. When she finally finished my nails I walked to the front desk and told the owner or supervisor. She apologized but then said she probably was tired like it was my fault. I will never go there again. I was so disappointed that the supervisor made an excuse for her nail tech. So unprofessional. I will not recommend anyone else to go there. Lost my business 😔

I tried it one time and I loved the place. People who work there are very friendly. Most important Very clean and professional. Highly recommended!

This was the first nail salon that Ive been to in over 10 years. The experience for the first couple of visits were very nice and relaxing. They are clean and efficient. My nails would come out pretty. I stopped going because the last two visits I was charged two different prices for the same exact services. First time $80 second time $100. When situations like this occur, I become weary.

I went in to get my nails done and I was told that they were booked. So I wanted to make an appointment and the woman at the desk was really rude. As she suggested that I make an appointment I asked about their availability during the week so I can make an appointment to come back. She didn’t want to tell me the availability. Therefore, She made that difficult as well and gave me a card and told me to call back. I ended up leaving with a horrible experience of their customer service. This was my first experience here and I will not be back since I was treated in a rude manner.

I have been a customer at salon xpression for a couple of years, and the quality, attention, and cleanliness has never changed. They are very efficient at scheduling via phone or online and their prices are reasonable. They are very professional and never try to push services that are not needed. I have recommended this place to friends and family!

The girl who did my nails was extremely rude. I love this place and usually have a great experience but this last time was awful. Though my nails looked nice, there was a point when i had to sit there as she did my nails while she was chatting in foreign language, both of the girls laughing and pointing at my nails, speaking in a language I obviously do not understand. Just classless and rude. I am mad at myself for not getting her name and making sure I never make the mistake of letting her touch my nails again.

I love there work.. the place is very clean and they have all nail polish colors.. the staff was super nice the lady did my nails I told her that can’t wait to dry my nails and I have to leave because I have a newborn he used a liquid to dry my nails.recommend this place .

I came to this salon 4 times now. Every time I came I had a different person doing my pedicures which is out of the ordinary for me. I usually just stick with one person that I know does a good job. This is the first and only salon that I visited where every single person did an amazing job on my pedicures. The salon is super clean and the people are very nice! I usually get the xpression pedicure which is great. I also tried the hot stone pedicure which was also a great experience. I always walk in and get taken care of right away. I highly recommend this spot to everyone.

This is the only place I trust with my nails. The staff is professional and accommodating, I get what I ask for every time. They’re also very clean! Amy always does my nails and I absolutely love her, she’s sweet and friendly and is extremely talented.

I got a full set that was more than $70 it was my first time there the nail design wasn’t exactly how I wanted but the worst part is that I haven’t had my nails on for even a week and already two fell. After the first one fell I was going to go back to fix it but then another fell so I just gave up I would not want to waste more money than I already did to fix them and then something happens again. No good experience so don’t plan on coming back .

I was referred to this salon by my best friend. We were seated promptly for our appointments. This is the ONLY salon that I have been to that uses a sterilizer machine! This speaks volumes, since my friend and I are in healthcare (and especially considering the current pandemic). Kim did a great job with my pedicure. I also like the fact that the salon tracks the colors for future visits. Tony was friendly, courteous and professional. Thank you for a great experience!

I got a set of acrylics and they broke in the first week. It wasn’t just one nail for me to go in and get it fixed. Poor quality. Paid $60 for just acrylics and regular nail polish. Very disappointed. My first and last time going here

I visited this salon first time on 03/10/21. The location is convenient I live nearby and there is always a parking space available. While I liked the salon interior, cleanliness and polish selection as well as the stuff friendliness the job on my manicure was very poor. I had a gel manicure. The lady was very nice and friendly. But when I came back home I had to remove some skin from cuticles. And today on Monday with only five days passed after my manicure was done I had to do the manicure all over again by myself. I am disappointed since I thought I will use this salon for my manicures and pedicures often, but I guess not. I used to go to Bien Assorti salon in Glencoe and Sally was wonderful but it’s far and a parking is a problem since the salon located in downtown Glencoe. But I guess I have to get back to them again. Yana Danilin. PS: after I posted review I was contacted by Helen who is manager, she offered to come back and correct what I did not like, but since I already done it myself I refused. Then she offered me a discount on my next service. So I went there today again on 05/04/21. This time I had different lady named Annie who did my gel manicure and she was wonderful. One thing that I noticed this time that they take business of disinfecting of tools very seriously I used to work in medical field and the pouch that Annie opened with tools to use on my manicure is used in professional medical grade disinfecting machines. So you don’t have to worry about nail fungus in this salon. So overall my experience was very positive this time. Thank you ladies.

This place is huge, very clean, very organized. They save every color youve ever worn in your profile when you check out. I have gone twice since the pandemic and their protocols, masking, plexiglass partions, hand washing and social distancing in between clients is beyond safe. Love this place. They also have an abundance of colors.

I visited this nail salon today for the first time and it wont be my last! I cant say enough about the great customer service and cleanliness of the salon. I have many nail shops around me but not all have the required cleanliness nor the customer service necessary to make them my go to places. I will gladly drive the extra miles to Skokie to get their services. The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful, not only courteous but also attentive and kind. Tina did an excellent job on my dip manicure and pedicure. My nails and toes look amazing, better than ever actually!!! I happened to drop my credit card on my way out the establishment, an honest customer saw it and returned it to the front desk. The gentleman in charge called me immediately so I was able to pick it up soon after to my great relief!!! In conclusion, I would recommend Salon Xpression to anybody who is looking for top notch nail services. This place is a knock-out, a 10 out of 5!!!

My last visit it took 2 hours for a gel manicure (which chipped off after a week)... not to mention, I had an appointment. My appointment before that (2 weeks earlier), I was 2 minutes late and supposedly my nail tech had taken another client. It was clear as day that the nail tech I was scheduled with was running behind with a client she had before my scheduled time. After waiting 20 minutes, I was seated at the pedi bowl and the lady from the front started the process to remove my previous no chip mani. After waiting another 20 minutes... my nail tech finally came over and expressed she was so sorry for the delay. She stated she was running behind because the client added a service. Keep in mind, when I arrived the lady at the front gave me the 5th degree about being late. Really?! Smh.

I loved this place. First time there, just moved to the area. The place is spotless. The equipment is new for each service. And the girl who worked on me did a wonderful job. Although I was in a hurry, lunch date at noon and they opened at 10am. So I messed up my manicure sometime between getting into the car. My own mistake. Other than that, they made a new client.

I want to set the record straight. Holly who was my nail tech did an amazing job with my nails and toes and the salon is very clean. However, the owner Tony, needs to learn how to be more professional and outgoing with his clients. My friend and I made a second appointment and although they made an error with our time, he immediately rectified it. My friend and I are being serviced, having conversations and laughing, Tony came over and told me to be quiet; not once, not twice but three times. I asked my friend if we were getting our nails done in a morgue or library because how rude is he to tell me to be quiet when I was enjoying my friends company and she was making me laugh! This was supposed to be a girls day and it was ruined by Tonys unprofessional behavior and attitude! We will no longer be going to his establishment and its unfortunate because as I mentioned, Holly is amazing. However, I can find another salon with a fantastic nail tech and the owner who would appreciate witnessing their clients enjoying themselves in their establishment! Tony, learn how to be more flexible instead of rigid!!!

This place is a hidden gem!! It has been here for more than a year and I had no idea it existed in Skokie, right by my house. Beautiful, modern and spacious. The man at the front, possibly the owner, was very polite, professional and accommodating. This place is not cheap, but they do a great job and definitely stand by their service.

When I was there the person doing my nails she was extremely rude and she spit on my hand! And she said it’s to “moisturizing” my hand! And she made my nails for 60 dollars! And another person got it for 20!

Everytime I had my no-chip manicure done... it started chipping or peeling before 2wks. I was told a 2wk guarantee... when I called to come in and have it fixed I was told its been past 10days. I thought 2wks meant 14days. Anyways clean place but would not recommend no-chip.

My girlfriend had scheduled an appointment for 4:30 at least 1 week in advance. They didnt begin doing her nails until 4:55 and the place closes at 5:00. They finished her nails at 5:35 and she wasnt happy with the result. They clearly over booked. I was given a complimentary glass of wine which was the highlight of the whole experience.
