Very excited to have tried Chic Nails under new ownership. Excellent service. Things they do great besides dip manicures. 1. Atmosphere - I love the decor inside, lots of plants and up to date lighting and wallpaper make it relaxing. 2. Customer service is very friendly plus they offer free mini water bottles for guests. 3. They worked me in after I was desperate for a manicure after four weeks without one. 4. They finished in an hour with a dip removal and dip manicure.

My friend and I came in as walk ins and they seemed really busy but they were able to accommodate us. It was a relaxing experience, loved all the colors available as well as the free drinks!!For being busy they, took time on my nails and they turned out great! Will go back again.Highly recommend, its a nail salon tucked away. We found it by looking on yelp, it was perfect.

This place really goes out of its way for you everytime, I come here and they treat me like a Queen, I probably come here at least twice a month and Im always bringing in new ideas and they do their best to accommodate me. Theres always laughter fun and joy when Im here and as a black person I feel family here.

I wanted to treat my mother to a birthday manicure and I remembered coming to Sac9 with a friend years before and enjoying the ambiance. Since I keep my nails pretty short, I needed nail extensions and I asked for a full set of gels. I noticed early on that the tips looked like acrylics but I trusted them to do what I asked. They used a UV machine, sure, but they also filled my fails with a powder which is only used for acrylics, but charged me for gel extensions. Actually, according to their website they charged me $5 more ($45). My mom got a basic manicure with gel polish for $35 dollars. These acrylics make it hard to use my phone, or do anything and as kind as the staff were, I feel cheated.

I came in yesterday for a quick eyebrow and lip wax because they are located near my job. I saw Lydia and she seemed as if she knew what she was doing because she explains what shes doing as she does the service. But as a licensed cosmetologist I told her exactly what I wanted. When she was done with the service she did not give me a mirror for me to look at what she did right away. I found that odd, but I walked to the front and paid for my service and gave her a $5 tip. I get back to my job and see that she missed a lot of hair on my upper lip and she also refused to wax above the eyebrow. Talking to my coworkers they said they had received a similar experience and thats why they only go to Rose. Last night I noticed bumps at my hairline. Its red and it hurts because she removed hair from my hairline/baby hairs. I came in today to talk to the manager about it. She insists on taking me to the back to measure even though the manager agreed he saw where she messed up and she can clearly see it as well. I told her I didnt want to speak with her because there is nothing to be done and I just wanted to speak to the manager and walked away. When I get to the front I see her motion that I was crazy to her other coworkers. She then came up front as Im talking to the manager and getting a refund and asked that I dont come back. She should have just apologized for messing me up, but instead she called me crazy and got an attitude. The manager is super nice and so is Rose who I wish I would have gone to. Im not saying not to support this business, you should everyone else is friendly. Just DONT go to Lydia. She is rude and doesnt know what shes doing at all!! You will regret it if you do! Go to anyone BUT Lydia! I wasnt even going to write a review but after being treated the way I was by Lydia when SHE inflamed my skin and took hair out of my hairline, she was at fault but treated me horribly. I told her I would write the review and she said please do...so here it is. Please do not see Lydia! Go to Rose or other staff. I have never personally had Rose but I hear she is the best!! And the manager is a very friendly and nice man.

This was the worst nail salon I’ve been to. First off we made an appointment and I had three different people do my nails. They had no idea what was going on when when of them left and another came and the guy that was doing my nails cut me with the nail drill 3 TIMES. I was bleeding. Then they didn’t finish them right so there was dots all over my nails and a Smokey finish. I had to ask them to finish filing my nails 2 times cause they were uneven. My nails were brittle after and chipped after 2 days.(I have very long & strong nails usually) They were rude and inconsiderate. Go to anywhere except here!

Love Sac 9! I have been coming here for the past 6 months or so and couldnt be happier to have found Rose. She is not only super sweet, but super talented and professional. Ive never gotten as many compliments on my nails as I have in the last 6 months. Thank you, Rose, youre kinda stuck with me now!

I stopped in while visiting from out of town to get a mani, pedi, and facial...and service seemed over rated for the price. Mani & pedi were average...facial, I felt like I got robbed. There are 3 different ones posted on the website and when I went in I asked about which one she recommended for me and she said she just recommends a cleanser with small grains. And proceeded to just put a mask on my face. Afterwards I was charged $60....i wondered why when I wasnt explained the types of facials offered. There was a $30, $35, & $55 options posted on the website. After I explained my disappointment to the owner he gave me $20 back, but I still feel robbed from this entire experience... $96 for mani, pedi, and facial. Cant wait to get back home where I get better service for less.

I started patronizing this salon when the technician Id gone to for years in Chicago got a job here (Rose). I have been driving to this location from the city ever since...Its worth it!! Not only does Rose continue do a fabulous job, the salon staff is friendly, accommodating and customer service driven. Also, the atmosphere is pleasant, relaxing and clean.

My first and last time to go here. One of the guys the was so rude. He was just running everyone around like they are below him. Never going back there.

The women give great pedicures and manicures but if you get the man then good luck it is always super painful
