Super safe during this crazy pandemic! Taking temperatures when walking in with staff as well as customers, practicing social distancing. Other than being safe La Vie has many colors of polish as well as scented scrubs and lotions you can choose from! Love this place, I rarely get pedicures but now I find myself constantly coming back at least every two weeks.

I just came here yesterday for the nochip manicure. The price is reasonable with 10 days warranty. Everything was phenomenal from the ambiance to the staffs. They were supper friendly and asked me multiple times if I need helps. They also offered free drinks. Nana ( I’m so sorry if I spelled wrong), my nail tech, she did my nails so wonderful, she was so meticulous in cutting my cuticles as well as polishing. Her Hand massage was amazing. Nothing for me to complain this awesome place. It is one of my favorite spots now. I will come back for sure. Thanks Nana

I’m usually super impressed by their work but my dip did not come out as I expected. It was smudged and scuffed up. They looked bubbly and thick. I was super disappointed with the turn out, especially for the high price I payed

I love La Vie Nails! I haven’t been anywhere else since I found this place. Tammy and Nancy are great! So are all of the other technicians. I always get dip manicures and they last well over two weeks. So many colors to choose from. Highly recommend this nail salon!

Went in the get a full set and a pedi for the wedding im standing up in. My girl was amazing. The pedicures have menus where u choose your drink, your flavor lotion and scrub. I had mango scrub and lemon lotion. My tech was Very thorough and clean and Very gentle. I love how my nails came out and i know a full set is a pain cuz I bite down to nubs. I Will definitely be back.!

Every thing fantastic

Came here to get a powder dip mani about a week ago. It was my first time at this salon and I was very excited and had high expectations due to the great reviews. Unfortunately, it was the worst experience getting powder dip nails that I’ve ever had. The girl who did my nails, who’s name I believe was Anna, rushed through the whole process. She had me done in about 30 minutes and I left with the worst uneven nails ever. After applying three very thick coats of powder to my nails, she used a tiny red cube file to even them out which really didn’t get the job done. I’ve never had a nail technician not even out the terrain of the powder dip with an electronic nail file. The girl next to her was using a electronic file, so I know for a fact that the salon has them. I wouldn’t even have a problem with her using a hand file if my nails turned out even, but I left with dips and ridges on the terrains of my nails which looked horrible... I also had powder dip all up in my cuticles and some of my fingers weren’t cleaned off so I had powder that stained my fingers. Mind you, I went for a white powder dip. I understand if it was red or a color that stains, but it wasn’t which simply goes further to show how negligent the nail tech was about my manicure. After I left, I ended up having to spend about two hours filing down and evening out the nails myself and getting the powder dip out of my cuticles. On top of all this the girl was very unfriendly and just seemed to have an attitude with me. When I went to check out, she was hovering over me and I felt so uncomfortable because I could see her watching how much I will tip her. Of course as always I tipped 20%, but the whole experience made me very uncomfortable. I usually don’t write reviews, but this truly was such a waste of money, time, and energy so I felt like I had to write this as a warning to future costumers. Horrible service and by far the worst powder dip manicure I’ve ever gotten. Never coming back again and will let all my friends know not to come here either.

The most important thing with a nail salon is being clean, really above all else. Then of course your nails gotta look good. I do not treat myself often to getting my nails done so when I do it better be good and relaxing and clean. Check, check, check, will be back for sure

I got my dipping powder done from La Vie Nails it was turn out perfectly. They do cut the cuticle and thin powder look natural. Highly recommend this place

Best nail salon ever. All of the technicians were so friendly and generous. Especially my technicians, she was so gentle, skillful and precise. She paid attention to small details and kept asking to make sure that I was happy with my nails. Absolutely will come back.

I had a very similar experience as Mishel below. I tried this place for the first time as well and was disappointed by the end result. I also got a dip manicure and it was uneven and messy, even after they fixed it. I ended up spending $58 for nails that are just subpar. I think the only thing that made this experience better was the nail techs willingness to do it again.

This place was so clean and the staff was super friendly! Tammy was super sweet and did amazing nail art. I am 100% coming back. Thank you Tammy for being so patient :)!! For sure check this place out.

I cant believe a nail salon like this exist, I have been doing my nail my whole life, but no where I can have the experience like La Vie Nails. I love the customer service, very attention to detail, always ask me if how I want with my nails. Im very picky when its come to my nails, but never have I ever disappointed with any visit at La Vie

Thought I’d give this place a shot after I read some great reviews. When I came in, I was seated right away. My nail tech was very kind but it seems like she was in a rush or not attentive to her work. I was slightly annoyed how every time a customer came in or had to pay, she left me hanging so many times. I don’t remember the name of the nail tech, but I wish she can take her time with my nails instead of being preoccupied with the customers coming in. Overall, my acrylic full set were mediocre. She made my nails very thick and super short, which made appear super fake. My nails had a few dents and she didn’t seem to care and fix them until I pointed them out to her. Also, my nails came off in less than two weeks which was very disappointing because I had to pay for a full new set at another place. I was really hoping I could return to their place after reading the reviews, but only left disappointed.If you want to find a really good place where nail technicians are detail oriented and care for their customers, I’d suggest salon xpression in Skokie!

I don’t understand the hype over this place. My experience with them was mediocre at best. I came to La Vie nails last Tuesday for a dip power manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was just OK, nothing special. The manicure felt rushed and it already chipped today. The pricing is competitive, but you get what you pay for.

Nothing can compare to this beautiful salon. They offer books to read, even to take home for 2 weeks. I love getting my nails done here, they do offer warranty for all my nails :)

Excellent customer service, I love their 10 days warranty for No chip and 12 days for powder, because my oily hands, my no chip always chip within week, and I have never have any problem when I walk-ins and ask them to fix for me. Their service is far beyond any other nail salon in Northbrook, very accommodate to customer, everyone understands English and know what I want for my nails

My mom and I went to La Vie Nails to get mani pedis before my brothers wedding and not only did the staff do a great job, they created a luxurious experience with a comfortable atmosphere and conversation as if we were old friends. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and experts in their respective areas (french manicure, etc) and each acknowledge the others talents which displays tremendous team work. The staff radiates positive fun energy and the spa is beautiful, modern, and clean. We will absolutely return and I would recommend La Vie Nails to friends/family.
