I’ve been going to this nail salon for over 7 years. I’ve just started seeing Angel the last few times. She’s amazing. She’s so sweet and talented. I showed her a reference the first time I wanted nail art and she did such an amazing job! I was in love! Whenever I go back to see her, she’ll show me ideas and then I just let her do what she does best. She’s the only manicurist I go to now. We’re besties in my head.

Stopped in for manicure yesterday. Angel was my manicurist she was lovely and took her time. She also had the cutest sailor moon nails.She advised me to dry longer when I was getting ready to leave which I appreciated!

First time here - i did gel mani and pedi. inexperienced artist cut WAY TOO MUCH of my cuticles that either hurt my skin or created uneven peeling skin (see photos). The gel is not even on the edges (you can see empty spaces here and there). When I was reviewing my pedicure in detail after it’s finished, the artist walked away to prepare for manicure instead of asking what was wrong. It appeared she didn’t want to make any improvement. The reality is that she missed a corner of my toe nail and it was uneven. I didn’t bother because she already walked away. So I went home to trim it myself.

I got a gel pedicure and gel manicure by Mei. It lasted for about 1 month. Price is really reasonable and staff members are really friendly. Totally recommend.

I made an appointment to get a regular manicure with rhinestones. I absolutely loved it. The girl was very thorough in her work and asked me if I liked how my nails were so far. They really do care and ask if youre happy with what you are getting. It didnt feel rushed at all. I didnt do gel, just regular but the nail polish started chipping in a week which I dont think is bad at all. I wanted to see if I could do a walk in but they were booked for the following two hours. I wish I took down the name of the girl who did my nails cause I want to book her again.

I can only say good things about this place. It has been my go-to for years and I even travel from the Bronx just to get my nails done here. No one could do it better - and theres not a specific lady here who wont exceed your expectations. The attention to detail from these women is ridiculous! They have a program where when you spend $100 (or $150 - cant remember), youll get $10 off your next visit - which is such a treat. My gel manicures from here have lasted me longer than 3 weeks. TIP: this place gets busy during the weekdays after work hours, so call with notice and make a proper appointment.

Ive come here for years. Theyre clean, the staff is friendly, and accommodating. Ive gotten several custom nail designs. Their work is amazing and they clearly pride themselves on being perfectionists with their nails. The massages are amazing. I have nothing negative to say. I come all the way from Brooklyn for their top notch service.

Got a fungus on my nail after going to this salon. They need to change their sanitation practices.

As the husband, I really enjoy this location and how well they treat my wife when we visit. Welcoming environment for me, and I am able to run errands around SOHO, such as deliver her returns to The Real Real, or find a Bubble Tea for when she is finished with her nails. Also, bars everywhere if I want a beer or some music while I’m waiting. 😀

They do not honor appointments or reservations. There are a million other nail salons in the city. Save yourself the headache.

Truly the best manicure Ive had in New York. For $37, you can get a gel manicure that lasts *minimum* 20 days. All of the technicians are trained to the same standard and do excellent work. With the thousands of nail salons in NYC, I travel from the UWS just to get my nails done here.

Being new to the city, I am overwhelmed by the number of nail salons on every corner in New York. This salon was recommended by a friend, it’s about $2 more then another place. About $37 for a manicure non chip. I made a booking and highly recommended as this place is busy. The salon is clean and the quality of the service was fantastic. I was out of the door in 40mins. There is a huge color selection and the phone charging dock was Definately something new for those running low on battery. Definately returning!

They do such a good gel manicure!!! They also remove the gel polish properly from your nails. The price is really fair compared to other places Ive gone that charge more and dont do nearly as good of a job. I recommend making an appointment in advance.

I love this salon!!! I have been coming here for about 5 or 6 years. You never smell the acetone! Youre greeted with a smile and glass of water (coffee or tea in winter). The manager Anne has high standards and the staff know this, so they pay attention to the details. I will go no where else as all others pale in comparison. (Though Jin Soon runs a very close second.) Sadly for me, but to the benefit of the salon, they are no longer the best kept secret north of Houston and I highly recommend an appointment. Gone are the days when a walk-in can be attended to right away. I honestly think theyll have no choice but to switch to by appointment only in the near future.Do not hesitate to try the spa pedicure for the softest feet youve had since you were a baby. Also, I only use the CND colours for my shellac manicures as the others peel or chip off way too soon. The use of hot stones with every pedicure makes this salon a must try and the customer service with a job well done makes repeat visits a necessity.

Ive been coming here for several years now. Even though Im no longer in the neighborhood, Ill make a special trip for a great gel manicure.Im hard on my gel manicures and often have issues with them peeling or chipping. That said, I can count on manicures from Il Villaggio always turning out great and consistently lasting 2+ weeks. The discount cards ($10 off for every $100 spent) also brings down the average price a little too.It can sometimes be hard to get an appointment after 6pm on a weekday or weekends. Id advise calling ahead, especially for gel.

I love this nail salon. Liz is my nail tech and I don’t let anyone else do my gel nails but her. When she does them, my nails can stay on for three weeks or longer without chipping. The only reason to take them off would be b/c of how far they grow out. She’s careful to do them all the way to the nail bed so you have longer staying power. I can always tell the difference when I go to another salon. Plus, they have a discount program - Spend $100, get $10 off.

Without question, the worst nail salon experience Ive ever had. After I sat down at the dryer barely blowing cold air, I got about two seconds of a clumsy complimentary massage and was asked to pay. Apparently paying gives you the superhero power of invisibility within the walls of the interior design identity crisis... silver Christmas ornaments and flower-filled glass globes hanging from the industrial exposed ceiling, zen affectations and dark blue wicker chairs. I wasnt sure how long it takes for nails to dry under that pitiful sigh of air, so I tried to find the woman who had done my pedicure which I realized too late was uneven, but she disappeared and apparently no one else could see me because of the payment invisibility shield. After twenty-five minutes at the dryer in a chair so uncomfortable, if I had military secrets, I would have spilled them, I decided to put on the Quick Dry drops. The bottle leaked all over me and I couldnt find a tissue anywhere in the immediate vicinity nor did any of the staff who saw offer to help me. I put on the plastic nail covers they leave you in one of those metal mesh pencil holders because I guess its not abandonment if theres plastic, as I left, no one at the front desk bothered to say goodbye or please come again. Of course when I got home, the polish was badly smudged. So now I have to go get another pedicure at another salon. Total waste of money and incredibly insulting.

My go-to place for pedicures! Pedicures include a short foot/calf massage + shoulder massage. Place is clean and the technician who work here are nice! Not to mention, the price and what you get is better than other nail places in the area.

I have been here more than 10 times, they do a really good job with my nails and my French Mani/Pedi usually lasts at least 10 days - this is impressive for me as I play golf and do a lot of damage to my hands. I always feel like I am inconveniencing them when I walk in and ask their availability, or even when I have an appointment. They are nice enough though, I think they must have regulars who come far more often then me, and you can see the difference when they walk through the door. I still go back though so they are doing plenty right. It is expensive though.

Everything! My gel manicures always last 3 weeks, sometimes almost a month when I get my nails done here. The color selection is awesome and the nail techs really know their craft. This is one of the best nails salons for designs and just an all around great manicure that will last!

I always like the neatness but their service could be better since they are pricey! Today I sat down for almost 10 min waiting for a manicure and the girl wouldn’t show up, besides when she was told by the receptionist to do my nails she made a face of unhappiness and disappeared.

The staff needs to work on personal approachability and charm. I go there often and never really feel greeted or welcomed . They have complementary beverages that I am never offered either . The first time I was there my manicurist cut 3 of my nails with and didnt even apologize until I showed her my bloody nails.

Used to go to this place all the time as it’s close to my apartment, however, I will not be going back.The other day I was in a bind - needed a treatment before a long weekend at the beach.I go in after work and they’re packed. All good. So I make an appointment for right after they open the next day. I show up 5 minutes late and they give my spot away. Would have loved a little more buffer room but I get it; people probably blow off these appointments all the time. The person in front tells me it’s a 30 minute wait. I ask if it’s ok to run an errand And they say sure. I come back in 29 minutes on the dot and she tells me they’re still full and have put people in front of me. I’m told it’ll be Another 20 minute wait, with no remorse. “You should have stayed” she tells me. I am beyond insulted at this point and give her a run down of how I was just jerked around by them... she does nothing to fix it and I walk out, for the last time.
