Coco Nails is decent. Lots of colors. The manicurists and pedicurists are skilled, some better than others and if you pay attention, you can pick up on who the sought after technician is. I prefer to go out of the city to get my nails done because its significantly cheaper (more than $20 cheaper) and the quality is WAY better. As in, your nails last long and dont chip (even gel).

All the ladies are AMAZING! Money well spent!!! Im a loyal customer because the service is exceptional and the end results are as well! Always satisfied with my gel manicure and regular pedicure!

Blanca is quiet, meticulous, and friendly, and did an impeccable job. In addition to the gel pedicure, I needed a plain manicure because nail polish and long nails are a hazard at my job, and she did that excellently as well. I will come back.

Returned to CoCo nails after a few years of using a more convenient nail salon. I was not surprised with their continued high level of service and professionalism! My temperature was taken, everyone practiced social distancing and, as usual, the salon was immaculate! I’ll have to walk a few more blocks to get there, but they will be my new/old nail salon.....happy to be there!

Was looking for a new nail salon and SO thankful I stumbled upon Coco Young Nail Salon. First, the salon has a ton of colors to choose from - something I havent seen in prior salons Ive gone to in NYC. I like to have my nails painted different shades of blue, and I know I have a ton to choose from at Coco Young Nail Salon.Marselina is the b e s t! I just started seeing her end of January, and have been more than happy with the perfection she produces. She is extremely thorough, detail-oriented, and also very kind. She does an impeccable job, and really paid attention to my cuticles which I appreciate. My first gel mani lasted almost 3 weeks, my gel pedi has lasted me about a month.The post below is about 5 days out and they still look perfect - and I work with my hands / sanitize constantly. Couldnt recommend her enough!

First time at this spa and everything was great. Best pedi I have had in a long time. Spa was very clean huge selection of polish that i have seen in a long time they were waiting for me they will even call you about your appt. Mary not very talkative but the girl sure can do nails.

Id like to begin by stating that I am a long time customer of this salon since theyve opened, which is more than 6 years ago. I have tried almost every employee here, and must say, whether it is a massage, pedicure, manicure or whatever I may have need at that given time, my needs are always met if not to expectations, they are well over exceeded.Im flabbergasted at the negative feedback I have read with other clients and unfortunately, cannot agree. Nevertheless, everyones experience is different, as well as expectations. In regards to the massage commentary I saw while drying the nails, this is not mandated by the employees, and its $12 for 10 mins, which in my opinion is extremely worth it and affordable.I have also experienced the employees complete a job politely, even while being completed belittled, and disrespected, then have the client insult and have her remove it ALL, not pay for it, didnt give a tip, and left. However, it doesnt take away from the professionalism of the place. Candie who was there at the time, (a couple weeks ago,) handled it well, and was very polite to the rude client.The employees here go over and beyond with what they need to do, and even go without taking a full break at times because they dont get a chance to. Although we are paying for our service, I believe as the client, we too should take some time, to talk to these women and treat them with the respect they deserve.Bring them a coffee one day if youd like. They are so appreciative and sweet.The service is outstanding, the prices are affordable, if you are looking for quality.HIGHLY recommend this salon to anyone.

Coco Young Nails is one of the most exceptional nail salons in Harlem. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Their skills are NOTEWORTHY! & they have a a remarkably wide variety of color options. They also give excellent massages. I highly recommend them for any service.

SO Disappointed. I have been coming here for 4 years now whenever I’m home from college and this has been the worst time ever. Marisol, who did my pedicure had google cuticle work, however compared to the other ladies who have done my feel there she did not completely get all of the dead skin off, and the paint job on two on my feet had to be cleaned and redone. After she brought me to the dryer and walked away. Of the 50 times I have probably been to the salon I have always gotten a back massage while my hands were drying. Marisol also asked me to tip her before I even got my card back which has the designated area to write in a tip and close out a bill. I don’t know she was biased against me because I’ve never had such a bad experience. While I was drying I asked the ladies around me if it was customary to not have a massage which they all got and assured me that I was not incorrect. I notified Jun and he said some do give massages some don’t. I know that that is untrue and he probably wanted to cover for his employee however, that did not sit well with me. To pay $35 for a pedicure and not get the complete experience for a returning customer is bad. If you want what you pay for maybe try a different tech. Maria always does great on my toes.

Excellent nail salon! Called yesterday to make an appointment with Blanca and got the time I hoped for. She did an excellent job and I was in and out with a great mani/pedi in an hour and a half. Everyone seemed happy to be there- This will be my new go-to nail salon.

I LOVE this place. The ladies are superb, Deborah and Rebeca are my favorites. They have a great variety of colors, and offer different services too. I only do regular mani/pedi and I always have a lot of cuticles to be remove despite going there every 3 weeks. Deborah takes her time and meticulously cleans everything. It’s a great neighborhood spot.

I went in with the worst bitten-down nails and was feeling crappy for being a grown-up with this disgusting habit- and got an appt with one of their best- Leo - who gently transformed my hands into the most beautiful hands ever! I feel 110% better- she suggested pink powder gel and made sure I had them exactly as I wanted- they look completely natural too! Unlike other salons, there isnt that terrible acrylic smell here, its relaxing, professional and Leo is amazing. Ill go back!

My nails looked horrible when I came in and Leonaides made them look so natural and beautiful when she was done.. this was the most natural looking gel extension fill-in that has ever been done on me.. I didnt have an appointment and was taken care of in under 20 minutes on a busy holiday evening. The staff was inviting, professional and the service was excellent.. I found my new nail spot!

Unfortunately I have to say I had a Bad experience here.. The lady that was doing my nails cut a piece of my skin while attempting to remove cuticles from my middle finger (hand). I immediately began to bleed and it was none stop.After a few minutes had passed and the bleeding continued the lady panicked and apologized, saying it was an accident.I understand it was, but I also have to say that from the beginning I felt she wasnt paying close attention to what she was doing and obviously that led to the incident.Because the finger kept bleeding and it just looked so bad, I told her to put a bandage and paint the rest of the nails. Either way I did not want any chemicals near an open wound.With that said, I must admit It was a bad situation and I will never go back, but to be fair I was waived from paying the fee (not that I had any intention of paying full fee after the incident anyway).With this I learned that sometimes is just best to pay a little extra to get the results that you really want .. Lesson Learned..

Went to Coco Youngs on a recommendation of a friend for a manicure and a pedicure.When I got there I was able to get immediate service by one of the young ladies. She did a great job on my hands and feet. Took extra special care.Didnt feel uncomfortable being a guy in the shop.The shop was full of clients on a Sunday afternoon.

Everyone does a great job the girls, the girls that work there are all very nice, as soon as you walk in you could feel the friendly atmosphere. Leo is fantastic, she does a very good ped n mani. Love that place

HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!! Very friendly and attentive staff. Carefully maintain cuticles and nails. Both mani and pedi they did lasted almost 6 weeks without chipping off or fading the shine. They use quality products, combined with skillful services. My nails got stronger and healthier. I drive 70 miles to go there and will keep doing it. Sylvia and other girls are very professional and carefull.

These people get a 1 star. Not because the nail job was bad, but because Amelia asked me for a tip after not giving me a massage and making me get my own warm rag during the service. Everyone around me getting the same service I got received a massage as their nails dried. She chose not to. I then asked the man working at the desk why I was asked to tip but did not receive a massage. He advised me that it was a Sunday afternoon. (Upside down crazy emoji) What I dont understand is you are being overcharged for a service ($35 + tax 1.50) and asked to tip for an experience that was not the full experience. Horrible experience. Will never return again.

I love the place and most of all that the nail tech ladies are Latinas and they do an excellent job. Very clean and neat place to do your nails.

Best pedi I have had in awhile. Im glad I paid a few extra bucks. They take their time (dont go if your were kinda in a rush like I was lol) but did a great job.

I called kind of close to closing time and the guy told me to come right in. I was nervous after reading another patrons review right before closing. Maybe the team there did too and have since changed their tune. Marcela did my nails (gel) and she did a great job. Everyone around me was pleasant. The shop was clean and comfortable and the chatter was mostly quiet. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was lack of color selection - mainly that they didnt have any of my usual go-to nude colors (from OPI or Essie). My nails lasted well beyond 2wks without chips or any issue- but you, know, my real nail grew so I had to go back in :) Other than that, Ill be back to see Marcela!

My usual spot. They do a reliable gel mani for $30 and will do a sparkly topcoat or other very simple effect for $10 more. Clean and open on Sundays.

I came in today earlier and my pedicure the two larger toes were smudged when I get home and I received terrible service from Maria.73 for a mani pedi?!! Come on.María insulted my nails, mentioned maybe it would be cheaper if I go to the Bronx like insinuating maybe I didnt belong there then is asking me if Im from the Dominican Republic which I think is prejudice question to ask what does it matter where Im from when youre insulting my nails and insinuating I should go to Bronx to do my nails? Also kept turning to watch the tv and talking so much to someone else while doing my nails the prices are too expensive for to be treated this way.I was so insulted

Im a regular at coco young nails. Ive had spa manucure, and pedicures and the ladies are very professional, and detailed. I was in the nail salon when the young lady was there dicussing her toe nails, and the ladies dine vet that personlal. The surrounding, and atmosphere is pleasant. Ive, and would recommend eveyone to come, relax and get the best hand, and foot massage. The prices cant5 be beat for a spa experience. I applaud the ladies,and owner (Jun) for such great service

I have a very bad experience, not only because the service but also the girls are always talking about their customers and I think thats unacceptable. Im bilingual and I feel very upset listening all their coments. I ask them to cut the edges of my nail when I was having my pedicure done and the girl told me: i am here only to clean nails not to cut them, if its hurting go to the doctor.!!!. I was like what!!!!!. Also everywhere you go having a mani and pedi done is Like 35 and if is gel $5 more but this people charge $20 more for gel!!!!. I just had a bad experience its not ok talking about customers because they dont know if they know SPANISH and one day someone with a bad attitude can hurt them

Customer service was horrible i walked in at 6;15 and the had an attitude you close at 7pm so put a sign up you close at never coming back was very unsatisfied
