Everyone was knowledgeable and very friendly to my cat who was very scared. Sound medical advice and great price, as I have had him in at least 4 different clinics throughout the years (he is around 12 years old or so), and even suggested preventative blood work on to ease any of my concerns. Dr. Bart, Dr. Megan, and Dr. Beth are all amazing and really care about my son and all concerns that I addressed. Highly recommend! And their veterinary team is really knowledgeable and understanding to everyone. Thank you Heatherdowns veterinary clinic for all you do! You guys are awesome!

We love Dr. Bart Veterinarian and staff. Been trusting him for 18 years now. Dr. Bart cared for my childhood dog Sam (poodle) for 11 years..We adopted him at 7 and he lived until 18 years old. Now my furbaby Sunday (jack russell/dachshund mix) goes to Heatherdowns for the best care. They respond with updates during and after surgical procedures, suggest important things (like microchip) during check outs, They have their own pharmacy. The staff is so kind and caring because my pup is known to nip sometimes when he is scared. They put a cute little duck bill on him. So precious! Now he isnt scared of the office

We were looking for a new vet closer to our new home and this practice has a lot of happy patients! After it was recommended to us by several neighbors, we tried them out:1. The practice is run very efficient. We arrived, texted the spot number and within minutes a staff member was out to get our pup.2. After about 10 minutes, I met Dr. Megan who came out to the car and addressed the health my dog was in. She was informative while addressing all aspects of the health of our dog and answered all of my questions. She also went through my dogs medical history from the other vet. She is knowledgeable, caring, friendly, and thorough.3. Shortly After, the staff member walked my dog back and the visit was reasonably priced.I feel confident to recommend this practice to family, friends, and neighbors as I believe the care my puppy will receive here is of great quality.

Dr. Megan does a great job with my 2 dogs who do not like body handling. Highly recommended.

Dr. Megan is the best!!! She answers my questions and explains what is going on with my cat and that he is doing fine. I just lost 2 cats this past spring and she is very understanding when I share my concerns about the 2 I have left - and the ones I am feeding outside.

We chose Heatherdowns Vet because of proximity 14 years ago but we continue to drive across town to take our puppy there even though we’ve moved, because the care is amazing! We simply feel like family there. We had to put both of our dogs down (unexpectedly) in 2020 and they were the most caring and supportive staff we could’ve asked for to help guide us and get us through the worst times.

Dr. Bart has been the best vet that we have ever had the privilege working with. He is kind, thoughtful, and above all one of the most honest people I know. We live far away from the clinic but happily drive into town to have our animals seen by him.

Every staff person at this place is professional, kind, respectful, and treats their human patients as well or better than their animal patients. I fully trust them with my dogs health and welfare, and will never leave their practice. The doctors do a through job of caring for my dogs health and answer every question I have. The Techs treat my dog as if he were their own and are kind and open with me. I 100% recommend this clinic to new residents and those seeking good vet care for their pet. In my dogs 15 years of life, this is without a doubt the best clinic I could have found for my dog.

These heros are the best! For the past 16 years their care for my furry babies has been excellent. My Manhattan had to have major surgery and was frisky as can be just 2 days later. High end expertise and huge hearts!!

I have taken multiple cats to see Dr. Bart & Dr. Megan. Every visit they were kind, patient & very knowledgeable. Without question everyone working at the clinic love animals. Dr. Bart has done dental surgery on several of my cats & also, removed a nasal polyp from one cats. Very reasonable for such high quality & professional services. I was very happy when Dr. Megan joined the practice (I had met her at another Vet Office) she is wonderful too. I highly recommend if you need a new Vet call & make an appointment - you will not be disappointed.

I was impressed with quality of work done on my cat. He needed to have some teeth extracted as well as cleaned. Dr. Soeder was very kind and professional when he went over what my cat needed done and why.

We LOVE Dr. Bart and his staff! Everyone is just welcoming! We have 3 dogs and they always have time if I have a question about one of them. They always call a couple of days after a phone call or an sick/surgery appointment to make they are doing good! We recommend them to everyone!

This staff is wonderful and they treat your babies like you’ve always wanted a vet office to treat them. They are also affordable. My cats always leave just as happy as they came in.

I tried to call to set up an appointment but everytime i was greeted with a machine that recommended I send a message or use some app, I already took my cat into highpoint.

I brought my Gracie to the Heatherdowns Veterinary Clinic and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they saw my dog Gracie. The whole appointment took less then 20 minutes. The folks there are super friendly and Im happy to have found a vet office with their act totally together.

I love this Veterinarian office. I have been taking my babies (dogs) to this office for 15-20 years. Dr. Bart is professional an very attentive. He is a very competent veterinarian with a wonderful personality. His associate Dr. Beth is great and the Staff is so courteous. Dr. Bart, Dr. Megan, and the entire staff are so friendly and helpful. It’s truly a group effort there from the moment you pull in the parking lot (posting this post-Corona so yes, from the moment you pull in the parking lot). I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done for my cats, I really feel both the doctors and the staff treat my cats as if they were treating their own. I really appreciate their practical and affordable approach to vet care. I never feel like I’m being judged as a pet owner for something such as if my cat gains a few ounces since his last visit like I’ve experienced at my former vet. It seems very evident that everyone there loves their job because they truly love animals!

I only met Dr. Bart twice, but he was very compassionate and sweet hearted when euthanizing my familys adopted dog.

My senior pup was put down here a few weeks ago. My regular vet did not allow for me to be with her when she passed, so we called HVC and they were beyond accommodating and kind during this otherwise awful time. I could not have been more pleased with their service and kindness, which I am forever grateful.

I have been going to Dr. Bart for years. He is very caring and treats the animals as if they are his own. He has always been very empathetic and always honest. I wouldn’t take my pets to anyone else. His staff shares the same values as well.

Ive been taking my dog here for about 2 years now. She is anemic and we saw a few different vets to get their opinions before we started going to Heatherdowns Vet. Although, its never been determined what is causing it, they have helped maintain it and always take great care of her. I would highly recommend them. They are also reasonable priced.

All of the vets and staff members have treated my family and pets with kindness and compassion, and have helped to clearly define care options and plans. They have taken care of my animals like they were their own; out of 3 dogs, not one has hated going to the vet. The clinic has convenient hours and has always been able to fit my dogs in for emergency visits when needed. The prices are very reasonable for the area, and for the level of care they provide you are getting a great bargain!

DO NOT GO HERE. Brought our cat in to get spayed, a simple surgery, and afterwards she was so longer able to walk. Her back legs were paralyzed. Went back to this vet to tell them and ask what was wrong and they just gave us pills to give to our cat. She kept getting worse and was only able to use one leg and was shaking like a seizure. This vet did nothing to try and figure out what was wrong. They most likely damaged a nerve and wouldn’t tell us. Went back today to see what we could do and ended up having to put her down. They were saying there was nothing else they could do. They messed up a surgery, and then made us pay to put our baby down. Do not go here. Not worth the risk!!

The vets and staff here are beyond compare!!! Have been with Dr. Bart for nearly 20 years. He has put together a phenomenal team of doctors and techs, support staff. Caring and very knowledgeable, I dont hesitate to see ANY of the doctors, they are ALL top-notch!!not! I recommend Heatherdowns for ALL your veterinary needs. You wont be disappointed. One of the best vets in Toledo. Feel very comfortable and confident with Dr Bart. When we have to say goodbye to our furry children they always send a sympathy card. They have called in the past after one of our furry children had some kind of illness to see how they are doing. Prices comparable to other vets.

I wish I could give zero stars. Absolute worst vet clinic ever. Most of the nurses are nice & Dr. Bart is pretty good but there is a vet here by the name of Meghan. DO NOT SEE MEGHAN, but since Dr. Bart is barely ever at this clinic your pet will most likely see Meghan. My family had to put our dog down last month due to her negligence & neglect of our dog. For months we had been taking her in because we knew something wasnt right. Well Meghan would say everythings fine, just have her take this medication well we would get a second opinion from Dr. Bart & he would always counter what Meghan said. Our dog had blood work a month before she was put down because my mom started to notice she was acting different & meghan wasnt concerned with the results & basically said nothing was wrong, well a month later our dog lost all her weight, was constantly puking, you could see her rib cage, couldnt keep anything down & could barely stand. Thats when this clinic finally realized that something is wrong. My family didnt even find out HOW SEVERE her condition was until she was at the emergency vet clinic the night she was put down. A week prior to that Meghan & everyone at this vet didnt tell us how much pain she was actually in. They continuously gave her medication & said she should be fine if you have her take this. There were a lot of things Ms. Meghan didnt tell us. They didnt tell us the full story of what was actually going on. Do not take your pets here, we no longer take our other dog to this vet. If youre looking for a vet clinic & this one is looking good because its cheaper, its not worth it. 0/5 stars, do not recommend

LoL and when my cat hears lets go see Dr. Bart, he runs and hides before we get him in his carrier.. 😂 while thinking about it I need to make a Appt for his claws to be clipped..

Just left here with my kitty and the doctor and nurses are amazing. My cat is never so calm at a vet but she was actually very relaxed (definitely a little nervous but nowhere near as frantic as she normally is) and everyone took wonderful care of her.

Doctor Bart is by far on of the most friendliest people I know. He genuinely cares about his craft and the animals he works with. He will happily take great care of any pet you have. His staff is also very kind and enjoys what they do. Highly recommend

We took our Milo in for his shots and a rash he had on his belly. Staff and Dr. Bart were wonderful with Milo even though he gets anxious with people he doesnt know. We will definitely keep taking him there and would highly recommend them to anyone else. Thank you!!
