Ryan was amazing! We appreciate him so much. My husband sometimes has random anxiety/panic attacks and this just happened to be the day. However this one led to him passing out which was very scary. Ryan was so helpful and caring. He helped my husband stay comfortable until the paramedics arrived to make sure he was fine. We are going back to have his hair finished by Ryan. Thank you Ryan for being so quick on your feet and doing more than just your job and caring for your clients.

Best place for a dude to get their hair cut

My 4yr old grandsons ethnicity is mixed (african american, latino, and caucasian). His hair is very soft, very curly, and very UNRULY😳 Austin did an AMAZING job with the hair cut, but more importantly...he made the kid feel welcomed and happy to be there!! Where do I start?! Adrian Gilden is phenomenal. She’s at the farmers park location. I am active military and need haircuts every two weeks and she always manages to fit me in. She is the best barber/stylist I’ve ever had. If you have any doubts don’t! I would recommend her every time. Hudson Hawk is a great shop with friendly staff and fun atmosphere. I recently moved to Joplin and drive to still come see her. If I could say she’s not only my barber but a friend and makes sure I’m happy with my cut every time!

Austin is a fantastic barber and a miracle worker with my terrible hair. All of the staff at Farmers Parks are knowledgeable and offer amazing service, but Austin really raises the bar.

Adrian Gilden has cut my hair for almost 4 years. She is the most talented and personable hair stylist I have ever known. She does the best fade in the state of Missouri, and leaves my hair looking so good, I’m complimented on it for weeks. She holds not only herself, but her coworkers to the highest standard of excellence. I would rather the entire nation shut down into a recession, and force my hair to grow out for weeks than let someone else cut it. Adrian has become more than just a bi-weekly appointment over the years, she has become my friend. She is the sole reason I come to Hudson Hawk. Starting around high school, I cut my own hair using some clippers purchased from Wal-Mart. My initial thought was my hair is not that complicated, and I can probably do this myself to save some money. I am sure some of you other guys can relate. However, as I got older and into the professional world, I thought that I might want to have a professional cutting/styling my hair. I first came to Hudson Hawk because I knew the owner. I, then, realized that this place was the real deal. I have been coming to Hudson Hawk for years now. I trust my hair with Andrea. She is amazing! I have enjoyed not only her barber skills/abilities, but her ability to connect with her clients. Id been growing out my beard for the first time over the last 7 months, and the wife was finding it a bit unruly. Tyler S. at the Farmers Park location got me seated quick and I entrusted him to find the best way to clean it up without losing too much beard. He trimmed just the right amount off and shaped it to my face. Im very happy with the final result (and so is the wife)!

This is a company with marketing genius. Pretty much the same quality cuts as any descent barber shop but because of their trendy marketing they can command 25-50% higher rates. Too rich for my blood. That being said, the staff is friendly, shop is clean and the cuts are good.

Shelby is my regular barber for the past 2 years and is fantastic! Shes a highly-skilled, quick learner and will find the best cut for you then consistently repeat it each visit. Prior to Shelby I had Mitchell as my barber for 2 years too and he was equally skilled. This is a testament to the training and management this barber shop operates by. Highly recommended!

Awesome place to get a haircut! I’d highly recommend TJ at the Farmer’s Park location. I’ve had my hair cut at numerous places in the 12 years I’ve lived in Springfield, but I’ve received the best service at Hudson Hawk. I started coming here just over a year ago and wish I would have discovered it sooner!

The atmosphere inside any HH location, especially this one, is awesome. Before coming here I had never gotten a haircut in a barbershop with a deer on the wall before, not to mention a vintage chainsaw. Everyone Ive ever gotten a cut from has been really knowledgeable, and I have never had a bad haircut from here (Ive probably had 10 appointments here). I also like their free shampooing with every cut because the shampoo they use is pretty freaking legit. Free soda is great, too.

HudsonHawk is the best barbershop around. We have tried other places (mainly because we live closer to other places), but we always come back to where we get the best cut! The atmosphere is amazing, and the barbers are top notch!

Was 10 minutes late as I could not find the shop. As well I called and the line was busy. Finally when I got through I said I would be right there. When I finally arrived I was informed they could not cut my sons hair in the 20 minutes left and I would have to reschedule. That being the case why didnt he just tell me that on the phone? I rescheduled but this will be my last time.

***Update*** I was contacted by the management and they apologized and made it right. Thank you Hudson Hawk. Updated from 1 star to 5 stars. Mistakes happen but clearly this company cares about the customer experience. ****** I love getting my haircut at Hudson Hawk but I wont be back. I changed my entire schedule to get a haircut and showed up 10 minutes late after calling to advise I couldnt find this one (never been to this location). Austin refused to cut my hair, I had an hour scheduled for beard and haircut. Front desk said I could still get my beard trim if I wait 20 minutes but would need to reschedule my haircut. Nobody else was in the chair taking my spot but they have a 10 minute policy that apparently the receptionist isnt aware of. I called the receptionist back and they said they were unaware of this rule and apologized. Austin wasnt even willing to tell me, sent the front desk person over to tell me as he/she hid in the back room. I wont be back.

We Drive 500 miles from Dallas to get the best haircut from Brandon for our son who has autism! Brandon is patient and works so well with him. Raising a child with autism often draws negative attention due to outbursts and communication confusions, but after we have been to Hudson Hawk, my son gets tons of compliments on his sharp cut and he gets a chance to enjoy positive interactions in the community. Thank you Brandon for being so cool and making my child feel like a real super hero!

Got my hair cut this afternoon not to long ago (around noon) and I am totally disappointed for Hudson hawk not living up to the standard of service they claim to provide for each customer. I had asked for a fade & I specially stated what I wanted to the “barber” & even provided a picture of myself a simple short taper fade & I was told that she didn’t have time to fix her awful buzz cut that she left me with. I even had said I would pay for the extra cost but she insisted she did not have time to simply make the fade shorter on the sides. I’m pretty upset about the fact that not only it’s 22.00 bucks for a hair cut I could have done myself but also being on a time limit instead of customer satisfaction! Will not be going back what so ever. A true barber shop is about their customers & service not about a time limit & money.

Though I am long over due for a cut, this is this place I will go. I moved out of town for a while and the new barber did terrible. Made me immediately miss my Hudson cut.

Being a single dad I dont things for myself very often. One thing I do splurge on is every three weeks I come in to Hudson Hawk at Farmers Park for a haircut. Andrea has cut my hair at least once a month since 2014. Shes the only person Ive allowed to cut my hair during that time. She treats me as more than a client but a friend. The service is absolutely second to none, and I have zero plans on going any place else.

In Springfield for the week & looking for a good local place for a haircut and went here off the rec’s on Google. Arrived 15 mins early for the appointment and waited. At the appointment time they informed me that the barber with whom I had an appointment with was a no show. They said I could go to another location but I’d have to set another appointment. So to set the appointment to begin with, I had to go online set up an account and use their online booking application to set the appointment. Then drive from my hotel to the location. I informed them of my schedule and the fact I was from out of town. It fell on deaf ears. No mention of a discount or any other remedy for their failure to meet their schedule. They were seemingly happy to inconvenience me and direct me to another location - out of sight out of mind I guess. So, they may give great haircuts, I’ll never know, but what I do know is their problem solving and customer service skills are very lacking. One star from me because that’s as low as it goes. I do not recommend.

I have never been to Hudson Hawk before and really avoided going due to the closest one being on Campbell (horrible street!). Anyhow, when I saw that there was one on Republic Road I thought I would head over for a beard trimming. Since some of the chain guy hair places ( I wont say names....you know though) isnt really a place that you would let someone just go free reign with your face hair, I thought this would be a great testing ground. Tyler Sharp was my barber and did a fantastic job! I will be back for not just my beard but my haircuts as well! Consistency no matter what style or service I get. A barber shop just gives a guy something that hair salons can’t!

Got my hair cut on a Wednesday for a long Labor Day week. A few days in realized a bit of hair got missed. So when I went in basically a full week later they still fixxed my hair no charge and actually figured out I have a little wave cowlick there. Which I’m glad to know for future hair cuts.

Michael and Lucas both gave great cuts. Gave great customer service - took time to show how to style and use product. Will definitely make appointments for next month!
