My mother actually dealt with them, however I was able to drive the car. Great car and we kept it as long as we needed. From what I can tell, it was a great experience all around.

My insurance agency contacted them the day the accident happen. Yes Enterprise called me early that following morning to let me know they had the reservation but it won’t be until 5 till I get a car . Called them at 4:30 pm to ask about my vehicle and the man says sorry I don’t have a car for you but I should have mini van soon. Now my question is why did I have to call them for something that they promise and why can’t I get what was promised a car not a mini van. That’s very unprofessional when people are already having to deal with so many other things . If your insurance agent ask you what car rental place to chose don’t chose them .
I made a reservation but they called and said they didnt have what I requested, however upon arrival they accommodated me with a 2021 Corolla, which had a maintenance warning light on. I called to inform them and they told me it was ok. 45 minutes later the car stopped and had to be towed, which pushed my trip behind for about an hour. Road side service was ok but it was raining and we had to wait for about 40 minutes. Customer service sent me to the nearest location where I was upgraded to a Mazada 6. Had an awesome weekend afterwards.

Called ahead on 2 separate occasions to rent a car. They assured me they had cars available, there, on their lot. They lied. No cars at all. I drove 1.5 hours for nothing. Will never use enterprise again. This isnt just a Monroe Enterprise problem either. Vicksburg lies as well. I think this is standard operating procedure for Enterprise as a whole. Horrible company!

Im not for sure if I would even give one star, but it requires you to give something. For the last year, I have had nothing but issues with the 18th street location. Cars are never available( you have to wait for hours), theyre dirty when you do get them, not always full of gas, possibly have mechanical issues (rough ride) and recently issues with putting money back on your account.
Room for improvement on the corporate end. Staff is courteous and does put forth effort.
They messed the reservation, then made us wait while they waited on other customers, even though only one person was ahead of us, and the manager they had there was from the Ruston store, she was rude and didnt know what she was doing. They would not take our debit/ credit card for a deposit, could not add extra driver because of it. We never have this problem when the regular manager ( nikki) is there.
The car was not ready when i arrived. I had to wait for almost 2 hours for them to get a car, clean it and rent it to me. The car was washed on the outside but the inside and reeked with a stale cigarette odor. The delay in time cause me to be behind schedule, resulting in one mishap after the other. Needless to say, I was very dissatisfied!
In case my review didnt post, I would like to say the staff at this location are very friendly and professional, I would say this is the best Enterprise in our area!
Their customer service is great! They try to be as helpful as they can and also patient as well. Great people! The only problem is that at first it was first come first serve even when reservations are set...but now they make you wait until they hear from those who may have set an early reservation, which henders customers with urgency to finish the process.
Twice now I have made reservations for a car from this location and then later was told oh sorry dont have any for three days. So If you dont have cars stop taking reservations

Reserved the car ahead for 7 am in the morning. They said they had it ready but whenever we reached there they said they did not have it ready. They told us to wait and it was 10 am whenever we got the car. They told us to Either take it or go. They do not know how to talk to other people. Worst experience ever!!!
Good place. Usually good service. Can seem a little disorganized and will charge you for anything, was charged for a gallon of gas even though there was more gas in when I returned than when I got it. They do fix problems but can have a limited selection.
I made reservations for a rental 3wks ago...made it there to pick it up and it was a hour wait...(let’s not forget it was pouring down raining)...I sat in da car the entire time cause they said they were gone come in get me when the rental is ready....after an hour & 10 mins I went to check on da rental they told me a car just came in and they were getting it ready I wish they could communicate with the customers more better 😡😡😡
Great people, fast service, vehicle was clean with no mechanical problems. I reserved a compact car but they had none available on the lot. So I was given a standard, which is fine but I had to the daily price for an upgrade that wasnt requested, instead of the quoted price for the vehicle I originally reserved. All in all my experience with my local enterprise was great.
Will never rent from Enterprise again. We reserved a vehicle well in advance and not a single location in the area (3 of them) were of assistance. The location on N 18th in Monroe has the most sarcastically rude and apathetic “assistant manager”, Floris. She was not willing to help even to the point that she said she would not call other locations to see if they had a vehicle to fit our reservation. She sarcastically said she would be “more than happy” putting us in a soul, knowing we needed a 7 passenger vehicle. When we asked how this happens and what could be done, she stated she’d put us on a virtual waiting list, if something came available she would call. When I explained we had over a 40 minute drive, would they be willing to stay open, she emphatically said, “oh absolutely not, we close promptly at 12.”. While there, the phones were ringing and we stayed we attempted to call and be sure our reservation was available she stated they do not answer their phones. The service and unwillingness to help is outrageous.
If you need a rental go see Nikki Johnson, she went above and beyond helping us. Not to mention I loved the car they put me in! She personally checked in on us by text message to make sure everything was good and to not hesitate to get in touch for any questions or problems. When we were returning the vehicle we were met with a friendly helpful man named Andrew who assisted with removing our kids car seats, all the while Nikki also came out to greet and wish us well before leaving! To say the least we were very well taken care of at Enterprise!
Reserved a car a week in advance. Showed up to pick it up and they didnt have a car for me. Had to wait two hours. They looked at me like screw you pal, when I got super impatient after an hour. Missed my meeting. Trash. Wont ever give Enterprise my business again if i can help it.

My experience with this particular office was far from good. The truck I rented had a sticker for no smoking, however, the truck smelled terrible of cigarette smoke. I bought a bottle of spray in an attempt to get rid of the smell. It didnt work.The return of the truck was a horrendous experience as well. I rented the truck for a week, to assist with recovery in the Lake Charles area. I need to extend the lease. I could not reach anyone at the office and the nation wide number informed me that I needed to contact someone at the office the vehicle was leased. I kept the truck for an extra day and took it back to the location I leased it from, only to find the office was being renovated. No phone call to me asking why I was late, no phone call informing me of the office being closed, no one reached out and informed me that I would need to return the vehicle to an office in another town.I have an account with Enterprise, but going forward, Ill be considering other companies for my vehicle rental needs.
Nice place to rent cars and trucks
This place is HORRIBLE. I had a rental reservation I made online two days before I went to pick it up for a full-sized car. Pickup time was 11:30am. I arrived around 11:20am and was told the car was “almost ready,” it just had to be sanitized. It would be about 30 minutes. Well, to arrive at my next meeting, I had to leave no later than 12:00 noon. They assured me I was in the “virtual waiting room” and they would call as soon as it was ready. I went to eat lunch, and came back about 45 minutes later. No car. I was told they were “just about to leave to pick it up from getting an oil change.” They said no more than 30 minutes, but they would call. I left again and went to a bookstore. I came back around 1:00. Still no car. They told me they were just waiting for some more to be dropped off. At this point, I was already very late. I told them I need a vehicle right then. They offered a small cab truck with a high suspension system and huge, knobby tires. My trip was close to 2,000 miles, so I asked the gas mileage... 15 mpg. The car I was getting was in the mid 30s. I asked about other vehicles, a minivan etc. They said no. The only other option was this tiny two seater buzz mobile. It barely held the luggage for me and my traveling partner. And the most they would give me off was 5%, which came out to less than $20 total — and I lost almost two hours listening to their storytime. A BUNCH OF LYING FRAUDS. The most pitiful rental location EVER.
Told us they had a car for us. We paid for a Uber to get there only to find out they didnt have a car. We paid for another Uber to get to the hotel.
The car was great, drove great, and was super clean. The customer service however was okay. The employees seemed to be very nonchalant and not very caring at all. I understand being overwhelmed but every customer doesnt have to feel that because youre having a rough day.

I had an 11am reservation which was made weeks ago thru Expedia to pick up a car for a work trip I was leaving on today. I called at 10:30am to see if that reservation could be pushed to noon. They said to make it 12:30pm and assured me they had vehicles coming in. I arrived at 12:20pm and was told they would have nothing available until after 5pm, which would put me driving thru the night and arriving at my destination well after midnight. I asked if their WM location had anything to which they replied yes and to head in over while they transferred. I arrived at WM and not only did they not have anything available but they also were unaware of the situation because no one called them. No other rental place locally has anything available. So now I’m taking my personal vehicle and am extremely unsatisfied with this entire process.
Told us to be there at 3 to pick up a car. When we arrived they had no car for us so we almost didnt get to go on our mini vacation. Thank God for American auto rental for being able to get us in a last minute rental
The employees as well as the manager all have a terrible disposition theyre very unfriendly and discourteous. I will be renting from another place the next time I am in need of a rental. If the location decides to ensure that all customers are treated fairly courtesy and politeness I will come back otherwise I will not be getting another vehicle from the North 18th location in Monroe Louisiana.
I rented from the North 18th St location in Monroe. I normally rent from National Car Rental but due to the timing I had to go with Enterprise. The car was not clean, it literally smelled like a dirty diaper. I sanitized myself but the odor lingered on . The glass was smeared with what appeared to be an oily substance. It really made it hard to see while it was raining on my one day trip. The guy that checked me out was nice and I think he was trying to also help clean cars too. However, there was no reason Enterprise should rent out cars dirty, smell and windows not clear. I am reluctant to rent from this location again at this point.
They were 8 hours late giving me a car. They didn’t care about the fact I was supposed to be in another state by 2pm. General manager still hasn’t called me back yet and it’s been a week. The car was dirty and on E when I received it. I was charged for another day of service bc they wouldn’t answer the phone to do the pick up drop off service they advertise

I would give no stars if I could! Terrible experience. Just because you make a reservation doesnt guarantee you a car!! I made reservation on a Monday for Thursday pick-up. When I went to pick-up the car I was told there were no cars available and I could be put on a waiting list ( # 14 on the waiting list). He told me I could call customer service. When I spoke to customer service they said they could make me a reservation at the airport and pick-up a car that was a class lower, but same price. I drove to the airport rental location, waited at counter for 20 minutes, because no one was working the counter. When the worker came back he told me they did not have any cars. I called customer service back and was told the location I rented the car from was responsible for getting me a car and they could not help. I called the original location and was told I would get a car by the end of the day and was 4th on the waiting list. They never called me back or bothered to call me the next day and my reservation was cancelled by them online because I did not pick up a car.
Quick service friendly face professional service and the process was really quick I couldnt believe it car were clean and ready to go
Customer service was great. And one of the staff actually remembered us from a visit back in February...And we were very pleased with the vehicle we had for a weekend special and got to keep the same vehicle when renting for the following week.Keep up the good work

I placed a reservation with Enterprise Rental and my experience with this company was awful. First my name was typed into the system incorrectly, the one on 18th stated that they had me scheduled for the one in West Monroe that when I found out my name was typed into the system wrong (first name only). Secondly, when I call the one back on 18th Street they hung up the phone. I call back this time I was told that they couldn’t do anything today (it was almost closing time). So I canceled my reservation. I will not recommend them to anyone.
I rented a car for five days I was charged two separate amounts one for 498 the other 263 I understand that it was a mistake, but I was 311 miles away from home with know money in my account to get home. To add insult to a injury know gave a damn I called the Monroe office six times. The first time I was on hold for 49 minutes I used my husband phone and called them again I then got a rude individual by the name Nicky long story short I will never rent here again
I would give 5 stars to the employee that helped me, but to Enterprise itself and to the vehicle I cannot give more than 3 stars. This car and all of the others I have traveled in for the past year from this location have been filthy even after they clean them.
The people at Enterprise are always so nice, and helpful. I have never had a problem.

Booked a Car because my vehicle is in the shop. Spoke to branch telling them what my insurance would cover and told them what size vehicle we wanted. They only offered us a minivan upon arrival and told us there were no more available rentals.There were clearly other empty vehicles on the lot.While I waited to be helped there were workers loudly talking in the behind the counter and joking with each other while the phone rang and rang.Very unprofessional and unaccommodating.
So I reserved an SUV to go on a trip with likely weather conditions that would be rough in anything else...only to be told that all they have left for my party size is mini vans. If I didn’t have to have this vehicle right now I’d go elsewhere. Why reserve if I can’t get what I reserved. Your service is trash.
I had a reservation for 2pm on Thursday 06/18/2020. A guy from Enterprise on North 18th in Monroe, La called to confirm my reservation and asked could I come at 2:30pm because they had to get my car ready. I arrived at 2:30Pm and it was a lot of people outside waiting on cars. The Caucasian guy came outside and got my paperwork and said he was about to check on my car but then asked me could I come back in like an hour I said why an hour he said I was the third person on the list so I said ok that’s cool. Then I came back at 5 I asked why it was taking so long for my come if I had reserved it already he said they didn’t have anything but a van and that’s not what I reserved I reserved a full sized car. They didn’t try to apologize for the inconvenience at all. I never had an experience like this since I’ve been renting from you all.
They really went above and beyond from second I arrived, until I pulled off. I will definitely be back .

The vehicle I had on reservation at 8:30am was not ready til 11:30a.m. I had reserved it nearly a month early. Then it had damage to the front right of the car. Bumper coming off and dirty on the inside of the car and windows. Very disappointed with this experience.

The vehicle that I was told would be available on the date reserved was not available. I had to settle for a smaller size and even with the seat all the way back my knees were still an obstacle when trying to steer.

Had confirmed reservations for a vehicle for several days and when we got there for our 11 oclock pick up time at 11:03, we were told we would be called when they had a vehicle for us. That there were a couple of people ahead of us in lobby waiting on vehicle also. So no vehicle for me! Wont use them again.

The staff was extremely rude. They didnt have the vehicle that I reserved nearly a month in advance. They wanted an extra deposit due to information I didnt bring even though I called in advance to verify what I had to bring. The only reason I continued with the rental is because it was too late for me to make other arrangements.
My rental experience at Enterprise two weekends ago, April 19, 2019 was great, at pick up and return! However, this past weekend, April 26, 2019 was not so pleasant. We went in to pick up the vehicle, and one of the reps (white guy) who was working with us, just up and walked off in the middle of the pick up transaction, to go help someone else (white guy) who had a return and had arrived after us. He simply passed us off to someone else. I thought this was completely rude and disrespectful...It appeared as if he passed African American off to handle his white friend. We thought our money has the same value as the next person...Then, as the other guy who had completed ALL the work was about to take us out to check out the car, he had the nerve to return to try and take us outside. However, my husband and I refused to go out with him to check out the vehicle...we simply stated we no longer wanted him to take care of us since he had passed us off...After making this clear, instead of the branch manager, an African American female, exemplifying some type of concern for us and telling us this issue would be addressed, she gave US her nasty attitude and not her worker....Not only was it rude and disrespectful to us, but also very unprofessional. After getting in the car and returning home, my husband wanted to return the car because it IS FILTHY!!!! From the dashboard, to the animal hair, head smudges in window, muddy mats, and nasty dirty seats...we see that the car was just as distasteful as the branch manager!!!! WE PRAY OUR RETURN ON MONDAY, APRIL 29TH WILL BE BETTER THAN THE PICK UP!!!!! We also plan to write Enterprise Headquarters. They need to know who and exactly how Enterprise Rent a Car on 18th Street in Monroe, Louisiana is being operated.Oh! By the way, the branch managers attitude was still sour when we returned the car on Monday April 29, 2019.
Cars are nice & somewhat clean. The parking lot is very small & can get packed quickly due to all the customers & rental vehicles. The wait time is extremely long, up to 2 hours even with an appointment.
Well my last experience with them I was quoted one price at Louisiana and Monroe Louisiana and when I got to Gainesville Georgia to return the car the price was different I explained to the man that in Monroe Louisiana they had a storm they had no power the car was not cleaned inside or outside because of no power thats why they give it to me at a discounted price but when I got to Gainesville Georgia the man tried calling them and he could not get a hold of them so he went ahead and charge me the price that he had in his book and I dont think that was right and I have had lots of experience with the Enterprise rental because I drive a truck for a living and I get a rental car all the time to go home sometimes just to go around town that Im stuck in but I believe from now that if I dont get the right discount and the right money I believe I may go somewhere else Ive never had a problem before this in the only thing it was is that they didnt have no power in Monroe Louisiana the man could have give it to me the price that I showed him on my phone but thats okay shame on me next time they shame on them
The cars are dirty even when picked up. I thought it was a one time incident turns out it’s a pattern. One car had deodorant under the seat and the other had a sprite bottle under the seat. Staff is not the friendliest. COVID19 is going on and their cleaning methods are still terrible, I seriously doubt there is any sterilizing taking place. They also have a limited quantity of rental vehicles they had about fifteen vehicles then said only two can be rented with a reservation.

There were no cars available at this location for a few of us although we all had reservations. A couple of us went 30 minutes away to another location to get our cars. I did recieve 2 discounts and am upgrade for my next rental from the branch manager. The customer service was fine, despite there not being any cars available at the branch. I will rent from them in the future, but just not on a Saturday.
I would literally give this location a no star. When I say that this was the worst customer service experiences that ever had is an understatement. I was picked up at 6pm when my conformation was set for 2:30pm. After being told that because Im from out of state that I couldnt use a debit card. I have always used a debit card renting from Enterprise. I ask if they could shuttle me back to the hotel about five miles away since they wouldnt take my debit card Nikki told me that I would have to call a cab. When a complete stranger heard this they offered me a ride to the hotel and was also in disbelief at the way this all happened attitude is everything. Luckily I was able to get Hertz to come through and will be heading home in the AM using only a debit card. To be clear to everyone out there, Enterprise will take a debit card from out of town customers but it is up to the local branch manager to make it happen. This is what Edward from Enterprise customer service told me. Nikki, however is going to do anything to make your experience with Enterprise as difficult as possible. Hopefully if you decide to use them to get to your childrens end of year school program, youll have a better experience than I did. If not give Hertz on Tower Dr a call theyll help get you home using only a Debit Card.

I hada terrible experience. I setup a reservation two days ago. When I arrived to pick up my rental I was sent to another town to get what size/class I had reserved. Upon arrival at second location I was informed that they could not rent to me because an insurance car rental from five years ago had a $59.00 due balance. They gave me a phone number to call to explain details. The number give was incorrect department and the representative could not give me the correct number, only call them for me and then call me back.NEVER EVER USE ENTERPRISE!!! 🤬🤬🤬👎
Enterprise always gets it right! The price was reasonable, friendly customer service and they picked me up when I needed a ride. Will continue to be a loyal customer of Enterprise.
Would leave 0 stars if it were possible. Service at this location is a complete joke. The manager texted me a day after I picked up and when I texted her back she didn’t even reply.When My reservation was booked, we booked a full sized car, expecting a Fusion or similar. Due to the nature of our travel, we needed the fuel economy as well as the trunk space.When I got to the location to pick up, I was asked if a Nissan Rogue sitting there would be fine, as if it was an upgrade. My luggage alone was bigger than the trunk space. I even pointed over and asked why I couldnt have the Ford Fusion that was sitting right at the door considering thats what I rented.. I was told the keys were not able to be found. I found out it was because another renter who had not rented full sized could not decide it she wanted to upgrade and the employee who was trying to convince her by showing her both vehicles had the keys.. I was asked to sign out a Hyndai Tucson - which still did not have the cargo space I needed for my trip.As I got in my vehicle - the woman decided NOT to take the Fusion - and it was too late -I was not even offered the opportunity to wait to see if the woman would take the Fusion- I had signed out the other vehicle. I had to cram Christmas gifts for 5 as well as luggage for 4 into the cargo area and it was a very tight 7.5 hour ride.So.. no. Not satisfied with the service. I never asked for an”upgrade”, and all I wanted was the vehicle that had been reserved for WEEKS in advance of my trip. It is my belief that your employees should have consulted the list of pickups / expectation for pickups prior to trying to up-sale a woman who had no idea on what she wanted. Just because the vehicle class is considered an upgrade doesnt mean the vehicle is an actual upgrade for the purposes for the travel that will be done. In my case, the trunk space was super important and due to the vehicle I was forced to sign out (which was not what I originally requested) I didnt have the trunk space I needed. SUV vs. Full Size car.. I didnt have the fuel economy I needed.When I called this Monroe store they didn’t answer the phones, I had issues on the day of my return and had to call corporate customer service who could not help and insisted I had to call the store. I would call (mind you DURING STORE HOURS) - I dialed extensions to speak with someone regarding current rental issues, new rental inquiries, we tried several times to get someone on the line. 15 calls and the phones would sit on hold so long the automated system would say “your call could not be transferred at this time” and then disconnect me... luckily my rental was a Direct Bill. Will find elsewhere to do business in the future.If you do not have to have after hours drop-off there are other locations in the area.. they just didn’t have after hours drop boxes.
Would have been a Five Stars but the sold all of the Premium rentals. They did make me a deal on a very nice substitute! They always have clean, low mileage and fueled rentals. The crew members are always very professional and courteous! I will continue to rent vehicles from them.

Love this location more than the west monroe office. They have some issues with parking and it can be confusing as to where you should pull up when returning. Staff handles complaints well customer service is great. I had to return my first car due to a tire issue and was quickly given an alternate vehicle in record time. Its always a pleasant experience.
I love my experience with Enterprise in Monroe on North 18th. The employees are very professional and made sure I was satisfied. Devontae was awesome!! He made sure the car that I was driving for the weekend was exactly what I wanted(as far as size) and it was cleaned up and ready to go when I got there. Please go see him he will not let you down !!!!
It was a long wait but everyone was very kind and helpful. I was expecting a different vehicle but the one I got was clean and I fell in love with it after driving it. The drop off was seamless they inspected it and I was pressed for time and they dropped me off at work. The best part is that it took no time for my refund for deposit to come back to my card! I would defiantly use them again! Great service!
Reserved a car 2 months ahead for my birthday weekend.Went to get the car on Friday (requested a pickup but there were 3 people ahead of me so I got my son to bring me for the 12n pickup), at the N 18th St location, in Monroe, LA & had a great Enterprise representative, Nick, help me.He made the process go smoothly, explained everything concerning the vehicle & provided a joking atmosphere, as well.When I brought the car back on Monday, everything was as discussed, with no new issues whatsoever.This is my second time renting from Enterprise & my second time realizing that Enterprise is my personal choice.

All the reps there are great except for the assistant manager (he take her role to a whole new level and very rude). Brianna was great friendly and she moves very quick. She is the best one to go to. She will converse with you and still do her job. You will be in and out dealing with her.

This location receives the lowest rating for customer service. I reserved a vehicle online approximately 2 days before needing the vehicle. On the day of my departure, I called for a pickup and was told that someone would be there within the hour. After a two hour wait and multiple unanswered calls, no one came and I missed my appointment at MD Anderson for treatment. I called the location the next day to get an answer to why I was treated this way and I was again...”blown off” with no regard given to the severity of the situation. I will continue to tell anyone willing to listen that this location is horrible and to not spend money with them. In a small town such as Monroe, LA please believe that customer service is important and it can make or break you as a company. As a customer, I expected, at the very minimum, an apology for the poor service and treatment. I would rather rent through National at the airport or any other company than one who believes that I don’t matter as a customer.

Mallory T. knows me and my coworkers by name and makes sure we are happy and satisfied before leaving with our rentals. Mallory T., along with the rest of the team at N. 18th, are super pumped to work with their customers and it definitely keeps us coming back to this location.
Everyone is always nice when helping you! The only complaint I have is almost every time I have asked for a specific type of car, they never have it available. I most often wanting to rent a luxury SUV! I get to enterprise and its not what I wanted!
The most horrible customer service ever! I will be reporting their manager to corporate and also consulting with an attorney. No one is on the same page at this facility. The manager hung up in my face when being asked questions to gain understanding she needs to learn phone ettiuqute. The employees place you on hold and never come back to the phone. Its very disgusting the experience my family and I receive. We are very upset ! We use enterprise every where we go especially when we travel. Too be told that a car is reported stolen because they dont want to take a payment is ridiculous. Now we have to obtain another rental vehicle just to get home and return this vehicle while on vacation. A completely inconvenience! Our relationship with enterprise is completely over I rather put the miles on one of our own vehicles than to deal with lackadaisical customer service and incompetent leadership.
