Called ahead of time to set up a same day appointment. Followed up on my own behalf an hour after my initial call to check on the wait. They said to come on in a bit earlier than anticipated which worked out for me. Was immediately greeted and offered a beverage within less than a minute. I waited less than 10 minutes before La’Rae took me in. She was kind, patient and listened to my hair needs. I got what I wanted and then more, will be coming back again and again.

I absolutley love getting my Haircut at TuneUp. Kayla is amazing. She gets me looking right every time while making the atmosphere enjoyable. Always fun to talk to and makes it feel like an old school barbershop where my stylist is my friends as well. Will remain going here until my hair falls out.

Kayla, Susan, and Tyler were awesome and made me feel like I could really chill out and relax. Its hard as a man to find a place to relax and leave feeling good about your appearance, but this place makes it happen. My first time here I had my hair cut and beard trimmed by Susan who did a great job and was a huge reason I came back. This time I had Tyler and I went with a new look and he nailed it along with great conversation. Next Ill be giving Kayla a shot which I have no worries whats so ever that she will be great. Overall my favorite place to get away from the busy world and enjoy the company.

Not worth it. Nearly two hour wait on a Saturday with only 4 people ahead of me. Wayyyy too long just for a simple cut. They really need more staff.

Went for a beard trim/advice and to get my head shaved(clippers). Stylist didnt really have much attention to spare. They had no receptionist so she was pulled away by customers coming in 4 or 5 times. She trimmed my beard basically the way Id been doing it myself and got rid of the fly away hairs. I did tell them that I was trimming my beard myself and would like it to look better than what I was able to do but got just a trim..Paid 50 bucks total for this as the minimum tip the machine allowe was 10 dollars.Id recommend that they become more attentive to the client they are working on. If the owner is not willing to have a receptionist on staff I hope they reconsider the idea. None of the staff was wearing a mask and the job requires very close contact.I really hoped for a great experience as Ive never seen a professional since growing a beard but I think Ill just continue maintaining it myself. It might be a pain but I cant justify 50 bucks for such mediocre results and lack of attention to the clients needs.

Drive all the way from fort hood every two weeks to get my hair cut. Great place, nice drinks, and amazing cuts everytime!

Just a really chill environment with good drink options for customers while we wait. Ive had 2 really good cuts and have gotten so e good tips for beard care. Staff is always really friendly.

Had a nice time with friendly staff, free beer, and a laid back atmosphere. Will be back.

Worst haircut ever I paid 40 dollars for a haircut that was horrible I have gotten better hair cuts at a beauty school. The staff was very in personable. I would not recommend to anyone and I will never go there again

I called to see if I needed to make an appointment. They said no come in it’s about a 45 min wait. I arrived checked in and watched as customer after customer was put in front of me. Only one time did any one ask me anything. No one seemed very concerned that I had been there an hour and a half on my only day off. I ended up leaving with a bad taste in my mouth for tuneups. I was extremely upset.

Horrible service. Waited 30 mins for a haircut and kept getting passed up by customers. Bad staff who didn’t even check in. Price is bad for a mediocre haircut. Last time I’ll ever go there!

Ive been coming to Tune Up for over a year now and have always had a great experience and the best haircut of anywhere. I work seven day weeks between two jobs so it’s very difficult to just show up and wait for an unknown period of time. I was very disappointed when I called today and asked for an appointment on my lunch break and was told by the lady answering the phone that “she doesn’t really know how to do appointments so they’re just doing walk-ins”. I explained that I would be coming on my lunch break and had limited time to which I was again told that I’m welcome to just walk in. I’ve had nothing but exceptional experiences here for over a year now but I will never return. This person needs basic customer service and problem solving skills or better training before being allowed to represent the company.

Nobody is wearing a mask, not even the stylist. I understand it allows alcohol while you wait but people are allowed to walk in without masks and continue throughout their stay. Not safe at all!!

I have a teenage son that is particular about his sideburns and was very skeptical about going anywhere because he was afraid that they would butcher hisThis attitude led to him looking unkempt.We decided through tense negotiations to try out Tune Up.This decision has brought harmony to the household. We had a wonderful experience at tune up! My husband and I brought our 5 year old son (who is terrified of clippers) and refused to have his hair cut! The ladies in there were amazing with him! They made him feel very comfortable and he loves his hair now! Definitely coming back!

I really wanted this place to be awesome. Susan complete ruined my mustache. I had asked her to just take it up some just below the lip line and she made one side completely crooked and shorter than the other side. Even after I told her about the horrible experience I had at the last place I had trim my beard and mustache. Won’t be back here again.

Honestly its the worst cut I have gotten in years... I came for a walk-in the week before Thanksgiving and ended up wearing a hat to my family gathering. Price was not cheap ($30 without tip) - you end up paying for the free beer. My stylist started out OK but the longer the cut went on the worse it looked (she went too short and STRUGGLED fixing her mistake). She knew it wasnt right - even had another stylist come over to try and fix it at the last moment (thats a first for me). She apologized as she knew I did not get the cut I came in looking for, but offered no discount. I did not make a scene as my Mother was waiting for me and I rather let my purchasing decisions do the talking. I wont be back.P.S. The stylist seemed preoccupied and rushed in general (not to mention her talk of partying and vodka to an acquaintance that walked in with her son - I am all for having fun but she seemed like she more interested in partying than working). As I was leaving she proceeded to get on her phone with her back turned to me/the door (bad manners). I think she was embarrassed by the cut she gave, but at the same time the overall attitude she had was just not something you would expect from a place with relatively pricey cuts... I did not get the stylists name as I honestly just wanted to get out of there.

Nice place but you will need to apply for a loan to get a haircut here...I just needed a quick trim up, which took the hairstylist a total of maybe two and a half min to complete. Total cost a whopping 32.00 $ !!

My first time trying this place, I like the overall concept. Very inviting, games an adult beverages are complimentary. However the stylist that did my hair (Amy) reeked of cigarettes. It’s been over two hours an I still smell it. She scalped part of my hair on the side an had to have another stylist try to blend it because she had no clue how to fix it. For a $30 haircut I expect a level of competency and cleanliness. Needless to say I’d be reluctant to return, which is a shame.

Definitely would not recommend this place. First time visiting and was not informed that VIP clients go first. Waited almost an hour to be seen, then two VIP clients walk-in and I am pushed to the back of the line. Was not informed that this is how they see clients. Very unprofessional. It is very clear they do not want new clients.

Pulled up to give this place a second chance. The first time my fiancé went he was put off by the way the stylists smelled strongly of cigarettes. Not that he judges too much as he just quit smoking. But we pull up thinking we will try someone else only to see all 3 stylist available at the time outside smoking. They all walked into the salon as we pulled up. We promptly put it in reverse and didn’t step foot out of the truck. The first stylist did not do a good job either as my fiancé has cowlicks and she didn’t know how to cut his hair with that hurdle. We decided to give sportsclips a try. We’ll let y’all know how that goes. I find it funny that the women who rated this place 5 stars are stylists at this salon.
