I only come here for Brittany, the architect of my life-changing hair makeover back in 2015 that has kept me coming back since. She not only changed my style dramatically, she also taught me how to maintain the look on my own between cuts. I now drive 2 hours to get my hair cut because she refuses to move to my new town. But Im sure all the other stylists there are great too!

Been going here ever since Carla has moved to this location, saw her at other previous locations around the metro. She is THE BEST, won’t be disappointed by her or any of her staff at this location. Online check-in is a breeze and it is always a very clean and welcoming environment.

I have found Brittany at the Sports Clips in Shoreview to be a consummate professional. What I appreciate most about Brittany is that she loves educating me about my hair & style, and which products will help me achieve my appearance goals. She is fun and very helpful too.

The barber was very professional and was very polite and nice. He shaved it exactly the way I wanted. Definitely will be going back there.

I tried Fantastic Sams and Great Clips for years with every time being a flip of the coin if I got a decent hair cut (which shouldnt be hard for a guy with shorter hair). After one time at Sports Clips I was sold. Brittany was absolutely terrific! If FINALLY getting a great haircut wasnt satisfaction enough, she told me about the MVP package so I figured I would give it a try. Shampooing includes a hot towel on the face in a massage chair! And if you get Brittany, its like you are getting a literal head massage for free since she actually knows how to apply pressure like shes a masseuse! Complete game changer compared to other places where its essentially a car wash... soap, rinse and done. If you can stay awake through the shampoo (close call for me), you go back to the chair for a shoulder massage. Once again, if you choose Brittany, you get a SECOND professional massage! I left with an amazing haircut and completely relaxed from the MVP package. I go back every 3 weeks now and dont see that changing anytime soon! Ive been frequenting this sport clips for several months now since my preferred stylist Carla moved to this location. The service is always top notch, clean facility, takes covid seriously, and is helpful with product suggestions without feeling like a sales push. 10/10 would recommend!

I have been going to Brittany for about 3 years now. She did my hair for my wedding along with one of my groomsman. She is literally the only person I let touch my beard! 100% would recommend any of the ladies for any person looking to get a haircut or beard trim.

The stylist was great for my son. No problem there. I was very disappointed that there is NOT ONE chair in the waiting area. They said I could wait in my car, stand in waiting area or outside in the cold???!!! My son is a minor. I couldnt believe that they didnt have one spot to wait while your child is getting a haircut. With COVID I understand that for adults...completely. Not when you have a young boy. I had to sit on the floor!! Not going back there.Great Clips just down the road has 3 chairs available 6 feet apart, and so does Fantastic Sams across the street.

I am a firm believer in visiting a place at least twice before writing a review. Ive been here three times now. The first time I was helped by a gal in her late 20s (early 30s maybe?) and she did a decent job and was decently friendly. Im a simple man so Im easy to please. That was around January or February 2019. I would have given her four stars. My second time was back around April 2019, it was a rather older gal who was very skinny and very tiny, she looked frail. She did an awful job (sorry to be blunt, but its true). It felt like she could barely hold the weight of the clippers, and the haircut was rough and unpleasant as she buzzed my hair, especially since I have an uneven skull after my traumatic brain injury. I hope she was just having a very off day. I would have given her Zero stars. Today was my third visit, a gal by the name Diane (I have memory issues, but I believe that was her name!! Sorry if I heard wrong!). She did an AMAZING job. Her touch was very soft and gentle, listened very well to what I requested. She offered to trim my eyebrows as well. I decided to roll the dice and asked her to trim my beard slightly, she touched up my mustache, trimmed the wild straggly hairs off my beard, and did a bit of shaping too. I love my beard, Ive had it for 8 years now (different lengths, currently about 7-8 inches long), she did such a remarkable job. I would give her a solid five stars. I normally go to a barber down in Saint Paul near Highland Park for my beard. Now I have a second stylist I will be seeing that I trust with my beard. She is very sweet and friendly as well.

Definitely one of the better locations in the metro. I believe they brought in new management in early December and it really shows. A very friendly and professional atmosphere.

Stylist asked me how I wanted my hair cut, which was weird because it was in the personal preference section of my bio. But I obliged and it was like I didnt tell her a thing. It wasnt even close! But generally is a great cut, just not this time.

This used to be my go to barber. The staff is helpful and friendly. They always do a great job. Im a typical guy who doesnt know how to describe what I want. They always figure out what works. Never pushy on the products like a lot of places. Theres usually a little wait, but they get people through quickly, plus theres always a game on to keep you occupied! If you show up with a coupon, be prepared for them to refuse to honor it. For my final two visits, one they refused to honor a free haircut coupon I received as a thank you from a charity, and the other was a discount. Both times I was very careful to sure I read and understood the fine print. I even read it out loud for the manager who couldnt read it. She still refused to honor the coupons.

I have been to several Sports Clips locations in the Twin Cities and I have had the most consistent success with Shoreview. I have always left with a good haircut and have had several great cuts!

While this salon seems to be targeted to just men, dont be fooled! Cathy did a fabulous job on my long layers and even upgrated me to the MVP for being a first timer. My experience with Cathy was warm and welcoming and the shampoo and massage were quite a treat for this Mama!! 😊 Thanks!

We told her to leave about 3 1/2 inches and leave it pretty long on top, and she left a little more than 2 inches on the top

Very quick staff which is nice, but dont come here if you get a fade. They dont know how to do it properly. They will just give a buzz cut on the sides and even shave on top of your head. Now I have a mohawk 😭😭. Additionally its diagonal on the back of my head. And their hair product recomendations always miss the mark. Last time the lady seemed confused when I asked for a clay and she suggested 3 different creme type gels. This was on top of showing her several pictures of my previous haircuts.

Im giving sports clips a 1 star rating because I cant give it a minus 5 star review, my 89 year old father went there for a trim and they hacked his hair off in the back of his head where he couldnt see what they had done, it was uneven with chunks of his hair shaved away in odd directions, it was horrible, I felt so bad for my father who has no choice but to wait for his hair to grow back before this hack job of a hair cut can be fixed. If this is how they treat a sweet elderly trusting old man I recommend no one get their hair cut at sports clips in shoreview.

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Ruth is awful, didnt listen to anything I said. I walked out the chair 1 minute after she started. I went here cuz my usually barber was sick. Huge mistake I had to find someone else immediately after I left sportsclip to fix her mess thankfully she only started on the side of my head which is an easy fix. Im glad I ran when I did. Also she was rude and still tried to make me pay full price which is even overpriced for a mens cut. Also she smelled like a pack of cigarettes. Never again. I learned my lesson just wait for your normal barber and dont try other places.

Do you have system of negative star?My son had haircut by ms. Josie. She was the most rude person I have ever come across in any hair salon. I just asked her to even out the hair at front side and she told me that she could not do and you have to go to barber for that. She also behaved rude while billing.I had also got other bad reviews abt this parlor.Never to go any sports clips now

Theyre in a hurry and completely inconsiderate. It seems that he would hire anyone off the street without any experience. I suggest seeing a barber if youre a guy.

I had visited Sport Clips in college when I was in Eau Claire, WI and it was a mediocre experience. This location was quite different. I had an awesome experience. My haircutter was outstanding. Ill return there for sure.

I got my haircut and returned home to realize that the hair on the backside of my head was uneven, and I had two strange short spots above my ears.When I tried calling them back during business hours, I got no answer after 4 tries.

A friend of mine was employed here for a few months and went in one day to find all her hair cutting tools, that we bought together, stolen. the stuff never got found or returned to her. so I took my boyfriend in to get his haircut here shortly after and kept my eye out for her stuff and wouldnt you know 1 of the stylist was using them. these girls are thieves.
