The staff are very kind, but I asked for just 2 inches to be trimmed during my haircut/color appointment and the stylist took 6 inches off!! My hair is much shorter now and I’m very upset as I’m quite attached to my hair. It’ll grow back, but I won’t be returning to this salon.

Completely forgot to tip Krysta as I pre-paid for my service, so this is the NEXT BEST THING! Y’all, Krysta gave me a manicure, and let me tell you, one of the best I’ve ever had!!!! I dont usually leave reviews on Google, but Sudz salon delivers excellent service and they observe proper precautions during the pandemic. My stylist, Kaylee, was friendly and was very meticulous with my haircut. The receptionist was also warm and professional. Really happy with their service and Ill definitely have my haircut there from now on.

Always a great haircut! I recently had an appointment that had to be quickly rescheduled, and with my weird schedule, its hard for me to plan ahead. The staff did an amazing job to get me in the same day with another stylist, and were so very kind in the process. Also, was offered some wine right away as I waited the extra time. Thanks for being great! Worth the drive into the busy Uptown area.

I was so excited to get my lashes done. I had my appointment with Victoria, who is the sweetest girl. She took her time, and took care of literally ever hair in my lash line! She was super gentle and I am very happy with the result. Ill be definitely coming back for more :)

Needed a haircut asap and Suds had an opening with Kaley. I have long wavy hair and usually I dread haircuts, they always cut too much off, screw up the layers, try to straighten it... I told her what I liked and didnt like and she did a great job. Didnt cut the bottom layer too short, did what I described but better. It was $40 (womens) which seems really competitive for independent salon price in the area. I also appreciated that they didnt add an extra charge for having long/thick hair (it took her maybe 45 minutes for the cut). Will definitely be back.This is during the COVID pandemic and they also seemed to be taking the virus really seriously. They only had a few stylists working and they were all spaced far from each other. Kaley was wearing both a mask and a clear face shield, and I was masked. I didnt see anything that suggests they are putting people at risk.Also they carry Aveda products which is nice.

This is the best salon. The people who work here are all wonderful. Excellent customer service from Steven at the front desk to Edward who cuts my hair. Everyone is very warm and friendly. I am extremely fussy about my hair and leave here happy every time. They also carry a variety of products. I cant say enough good things about this salon and Edward!!

I have had Victoria give me a facial and I really enjoyed it. She made me feel warm and comfortable. She checked my face for any problems I may have and explained them to me and what I could do to help them.The facial itself was relaxing and comfortable. After the facial she suggested products that would be helpful to me and what was available through Sudz. She does all my facials.

I just had my first hair cut since the stay home orders because of the virus and I felt very comfortable with the system Sudz has in place to keep customers and stylists healthy.Good job!

Ive been going to Sudz for nails for years. Krysta is the absolute best. Clean, detail oriented, fairly priced. Staff will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and your visit is a pleasure. Have recommended to family and friends.

I go for monthly facials with Victoria. It is a wonderful way to treat myself. Victoria always does an amazing job and I leave feeling relaxed and glowing. The salon itself is really cute, everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful and they have a great product selection.

My hairstylist Scott is truly amazing! The first time I went to Sudz I brought a bundle full of clip inn hair extensions and asked if he could match my hair close to them. After all said and done he matched my hair flawlessly! I couldnt Believe it! He is truly talented!I would also like to mention that the staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable.I highly recommend this salon.

I have been a Sudz client for over a decade, and I recommend it to anyone who will listen. Scott is tremendous at hair color -- from suggesting just the right color for you to having the skill to apply the color expertly to letting you know how to take care of the color so it lasts as long as possible. He is also great a giving you the cut that will flatter you and listening to what your needs are in maintaining a hair style. The front desk employees are always polite and helpful. And they carry great products.

John and Kaley did the hair for my wedding. They were FABULOUS!!! They were creative, fun, timely, and appropriate for the occasion. Both came fully stocked with anything we might need or want.I would recommend John for his leadership with our group as he did the flower girls hair, my daughters hair and my hair - the Bride. We were all thrilled with our hair!Kaley was great too with all satisfied bridesmaids! I changed stylists now and they are my permanent go to for hair.

Went to Sudz for my first time yesterday and had a great experience with Scott H. I went in just expecting to have my color filled in but he completely exceeded my expectations and blew me away with how it turned out. Definitely would come back and recommend to a friend!

Was treated very well and paid a reasonable price. I am a serial hair abuser who hadnt had a cut in over a year and a half, I left with a nice clean cut and a lot of helpful information to help me take better care. Staff recommended proper, relevant products with no pushy sales tactics. I came to Sudz for my first time on Tuesday, completely unsure of what to expect simply because Ive never been here before. When I walked in, I could tell this was a fun environment. The two gentlemen at the counter were laughing with someone who must have been a longtime client and a great friend. Of course I stood patiently waiting, but honestly it was super sweet watching them all interact. Kudos to everyone for making client friendships :)When it came time for my nail appointment, Krysta met me with a big smile and I didnt know I could feel more welcome than I already had with my pink lemonade and lemon squeeze (bonus!). The entire time she was fun, professional, and conversational all at the same time. She is obviously knowledgeable about all color combinations and can figure out what you want even if you dont know what you want. I have shorter nails, but she had no problem making them look beautiful for a wedding Im in. Ill be returning to her for all of my future shellac needs!

I had a bad experience here last Fall. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I barely ever go to the salon to get my hair colored but i thought id try it one time to see if it was worth the extra money, instead of coloring it myself. My hair color is not complicated. I have medium brown hair naturally and i dye it black. My roots had grown in and I needed them dyed. Very simple. The staff was fairly nice but the stylist who colored my hair completely mismatched the color and turned my roots burgundy... which seems like a very rookie mistake for an upscale salon.... He decided to re-dye my hair a darker color but had another appointment he had to take so he dumped me off on another stylist that had no idea what was going on with my hair. He didnt explain what had happened to this new stylist and it was very unprofessional. I had to explain what was happening to this new random stylist and the new one seemed very confused and unsure of the entire thing, which made me feel uncomfortable. So I left without even getting the full blow dry. I wasted $100 on a botched color job that didnt last any longer than $15 box dye would have. This experience reinforced my doubts about salons and experiences like this are why I just color my hair myself! Save your money people. Color your own hair or have a friend help you. Its not that hard and you wont waste ridiculous amounts of money at salons like this.

Jon Dagg is the BEST!!! He does a wonderful job and I always walk out of the salon knowing that I look ten times better than when I first walked in. He is bar far the best hair stylist in Minnesota and I highly recommend him. Thanks Jon!!!

Visited Sudz Salon for the first time today. Staff was super friendly at check-in and check-out. My service provider Kaley literally gave me the best foot and leg massage during my pedicure that Ive ever had! The reason I am giving a 2 for a rating is that this salon is not set-up to provide a great overall experience for a pedicure. I was seated in an old rolling desk chair next to a desk and my feet were soaked in one of those cheap foot tubs that you can buy at Target. No exfoliating scrub was used, just a foot file that looked old like it had been used on other clients before me. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with Kaleys service, she did her best with the tools and area they gave her to work with. I would love to see her again for a pedicure, but wont be back unless they invest in an actual pedicure station.

Rude rude rude. I walked into this place, because I was looking for a certain product and was referred to check out the spa next to spyhouse. So I walk in and kindly asked the receptionist if they sold the product. He replied that they did not. I asked him if he knew of any other spas in the area that sell the product. He replied with we are the only spa next to spyhouse and we do not sell that product with the rudest tone of voice ever. If thats the receptionists attitude, I cant even imagine the rest of the staff.
