My friend and I came here to get our nails done yesterday and had a not pleasant experience. Not long after we arrived an altercation took place between a customer and the owners which significantly delayed our service, then throughout our service the owners were arguing with one another along with other interruptions. I was asked to assist in business duties such as letting another customer in my friend was also asked to send a text for the owners to another client. It ultimately took them 3 hours to do two sets of acrylics which is significantly longer than any spa experience I’ve had.My total was significantly higher than the average for subpar work, I had no design square shaped nails with gel polish which totaled to 70$, I think given my experience and quality of work the price wasn’t accurate.The owners were kind and did apologize for the behavior, along with offering to pay if we got a parking ticket since we had gone over on our parking limit.

Amazing customer service and does such good shape. Very patient and takes their time for their customers. I would 100% recommend to come here for your nails. Very high quality nail salon! I love it

I had an appointment set for 5:30 and paid for 2 hour parking down the street. Right after I got there, the client before me and the owner were getting into a altercation after the owner changed and raised the clients price. After all the yelling with the client, the two owners and only people working were yelling back and forth at each other using inappropriate language and created a terrible environment to be in. My nail tech also cut into my finger with one of her tools after yelling at her husband. It took 3 1/2 hours to put on a set of acrylics on me. I also had received a parking ticket for the time this business wasted on their personal problems. I also had to pay $82 for nails that fell off less than 24 hours after. Save your time and money and DO NOT get your nails done here.

BEWARE**They do a fabulous set of nails... BUT they double boom everyone so you could be there for up to 3 hours. My tech didn’t listen at all to my color choice and gave my other friend a horrible French tip. She also asked for gel overLay and for nails thinner than regular acrylic andThey still charged full price. Just horrible service honestly. They don’t listen and just do what they want and still charge full price. BEWARE

They treat you great, as well as do some extremely detailed work.

Expensive but I used to go in regularly a couple years before the pandemic and just started going back. Amy is flexible and does a fantastic job! Went in a couple weeks ago for a mani/pedi that turned out just how I wanted then went back for a fill and she did great on the length/shape of my nails both times and put some eye-catching art on my mani this time (my toes are still in perfect shape)

Wow! Well, theres light foot traffic so theres a lot of time spent on care and attention to detail. Amy knows her art so well she makes delicate suggestions. (The massage chairs will get ya right😍). I had an overall grand experience, I anticipate returning.🥰*sidenote* Those damages are my fault, crazy tail self.

Pros: they got me in right before close (called at 7 and they texted back to have me come in), and did a great job besides being rushed. One of the few salons that was open til 8.Cons: was charged $45 for a basic gel manicure which to me is outrageous. They also didn’t have a credit card option and had me use the atm in their store instead…felt a bit shady.Summary: probably wouldn’t come again, but decent in a pinch

My friend and I had a bad experience here. We were running behind because of traffic, and before our appointment even started the place called twice and texted twice asking if we were coming (I was driving, so couldnt answer). I assumed they wanted us to be on time because they had a busy schedule for the day, but there was no one else in the salon when we arrived and no one showed up throughout our appointment. The entire time we were there, it felt like we were being rushed.The person who did my nails was obviously very angry about something, and thus was rough with my hands. They barely cleaned my nails. They also were not pleased when I asked if my friend and I could sit next to each other rather than on opposite ends of the (empty) room.My friend was getting her nails done for her wedding, and her natural nail could still be seen under the dip powder; there were not enough layers of it compared to what the sample looked like.Overall, it was very overpriced for the quality of service.

They did an amazing job and were so helpful. i showed my nail artist an idea of what i wanted and she made it even better. she made sure to ask me throughout the process how i like it. i will definitely be coming here again. ask for amy if you want awesome nails!

I believe in second chances so I will come back but my first visit was not as expected. I also feel bad because COVID as put a toll on everyone but their price doesn’t reflect quality.1. I wasn’t expecting to pay $65 for a regular mani/pedi - I usually pay $45 in Wayzata, so for $20 more, I would assume it would exceed expectations2. I was glad they take walk-ins but I think they sacrifice volume for quality. Only two people working and they had 6 people in the works - it meant I was in the pedi chair for 25 mins getting my feet soaked before they started.3. The man did my nails - he was incredibly sweet and nice but was not a detailed pedicurist. My toe nails had the normal ingrows and he didn’t remove them. He didn’t clean the sides of the nails and the ends of the nails were pointy, he must have missed it while filing it. I came home to finish the job.4. My hands are ok but he didn’t apply the polish next to my cuticle, he left a gap which makes them look as if the polish was applied a week ago. I had to point twice at the old polish in my nails as he didn’t use acetone to remove and instead tried to buff them only - perhaps this is a new trend? IDKThe whole visit felt more like a was getting a polish change than a regular mani/pediThe place was clean and very well maintained.

Best acrylics I have ever had! I have tried so many places around the Minneapolis area and Calhoun nail spa is by far the best. Amy takes her time and the prices aren’t overpriced. Super happy with my nails everytime I go here!

I came in town and called and made an appt. for gel nails. This was my first time here! Was told $40 so I came in! After the job was done and only 2 nails designed (bad design) my total was $67!!! When I questioned the owner, Amy she said I had an “extension “ gel nail? WTF is that? I have always done gel nail in the past costing no more than $45!! Totally got cheated!

They do not wash their hands between clients all 3 of them the younger woman washed somebody feet and came to work on my hands I had to stop her and ask her to wash her hands. They fit me in for a walk-in at 6PM for a fill, trim and polish. Brian did such a fabulous job. Hes so friendly and my nails look perfect! He shaped the tips a little bit differently and they look super chic :) thrilled with my experience. Ill be back for sure.

Don’t go here waste of time and money. I went to get eyelash extensions. I paid 160 to get a full set( it included a fill For next time)- which they recommend every 2 weeks.. I paid cash because they wouldn’t accept card they had an atm. It took 3 1/2 hours to get them done, she had another customer who walked by the room and the staff invited the customer into the room and told me to open my eyes before I even saw them myself and tried selling her. The eyelash extensions fell out within 5 days. (i told her I washed my eyes with oil before) when I called for some type of refund they refused a refund said it was company policy. I went to amazing lash studio and they told me they used a lot of glue they had 6 of my real lashes combined to 1 extension.. The lady who did them literally said I would Have ransacked that place. My eyelashes look great now If you want eyelash extensions don’t go here. Trust me!!

Will never go there again. A group of 3 of us went we got there at 11:30am and didn’t leave until 3pm. It started off fine until more clients started arriving and they kept leaving us to help the other customers. After waiting the 3 hours we went to pay and they made me pay for a gel pedicure when I requested the regular nail polish. The attendant very rudely told me that if I didn’t want to pay then they would remove the gel polish. Like really? I do not recommend going especially if you have limited time.

They where so gentle on my pregnant swollen feet it felt amazing and I recommend everyone pregnant and anyone else to come here to get your nails and feet done . I have been going to Amy for about 7 years. My sisters and mom go to her and her only we love the service she provides. Her place is very sterile and nice .

Not a fan. Ive been there twice to get a face wax and both times it was completely unpleasant. The lady that did the waxing both times was completely degrading and rude. I also voiced to her that the wax was too hot and she didnt even care to do anything. My eye, chin and cheek were burned without even an apology. She also tried to shame me into buying the facial. Both times she said my face was fat and droopy. How freaking RUDE! Ill never go back there again. I went back a 2nd time to give them the benefit of the doubt but now i definitely wont ever go back. I dont recommend this place for face waxing, go somewhere else! Bottom line, horrid staff and terrible experience overall.

We stopped by here since the salon we stopped at first didn’t have time for us. The salon ladies were wonderful very nice. My daughter wanted a design that she found online. They did an amazing job!! Omg I didn’t expect it. My daughter loved it, but unfortunately they began to break off within a week and I did not have the time to bring her in to get it fixed. I think I was told they were guaranteed for a certain amount of days. Spent so much money for 1 weeks worth.

I went here to get my nails done with my sisters for a wedding, and I am so glad we randomly decided to go here! The atmosphere is extremely clean and relaxing, and the people are so kind. I have never been to a nail salon where the people cared about each customer so much. I am absolutely going here whenever I need my nails done from now on!

The nail technician was very polite. It was my boyfriends first pedicure ever. He enjoyed the massage more than the pedicure. The place was clean but we were unable to get pedicure at the same time due to their being only one employee. As far as pedicures go it was okay.

A really horrible experience overall. I will never waste my money here again. I get my nails done regularly and have tried salons all over the Twin Cities and this was by far my worst experience. I spent over 2 hours here for a simple dip manicure and pedicure. There were only two women working with over 4 other customers in the shop, and when more people came in asking for services, they invited them in saying they had time. The women would step away every 2 seconds to tend to other clients. At one point in the middle of my manicure, the lady left for 10 minutes to go give another client an eyebrow wax. The woman cut me several times and left me bleeding several times, laughing and saying sorry. She also very clearly did not know what she was doing and did dip powder nails wrong, adding a gel topcoat to the top. And then charged over $50 for the manicure alone. Very upset I wasted my money here.

The lady whos Trans Wife, over charges and messed up my eyebrows. Shes always trying to pressure you into getting more stuff, so she can charge you additional more on top of over charging. She charged me $112 dollars. Just to paint my toe nails, and layover. Never will i go back and never will recommend anyone to go. It was not worth $112 dollars when it looks like something I did at home. I wish i can give zero stars.

Beautiful salon! I had a great experience. My pedicure and manicure were fabulous! The gel polish lasts over 3 weeks. The staff is professional and very polite. I will definitely be going back!

On my god! On my god! They did such a wonderful job on my eyelash extensions. Its look so natural, so nice, so perfect. They also offered dipping powder with so many choices. I have trouble with having gel and dipping powder is a gorgeous way to make my nail more healthy and stronger. Such a wonderful place with very nice staffs. Ill recommend more people to here and become a regular client here. ❤❤

I love getting my nails done here! I’ve been going about a year now. I get a dip powder manicure and it’s keeping my nails so healthy! I personally like it more better than gel. I go every 3-4 weeks and outside of the growth gap my color stays intact with no chips.I appreciate how good my nails look and the attention to detail each time. Amy the owner is my favorite! But I also trust Sheri or Universe as well.

Purchased a groupon and was told I couldn’t redeem it when I got there because I did a walk in and did not schedule ahead of time although it was super slow and he had even already started my pedicure. I decided to just get my acrylic set after that but they were super rude and acted as if it was a bother/ inconvenience on them. the set and polish painting wasn’t very good. would never come here again probably the worst customer service and treatment I’ve experienced
