Loc did a great job with my almond shape acrylic!

I always made an appointment for my manicures and they were often 30 minutes late in seeing me! often taking walk ins before my appointment. The quality was awful. 52 dollars for a gel manicure and it lasted less than a week . Chipped and broken. The last time I was there I waited 45 minutes beyond my appointment time and they still had not seen me. I walked out. I will NEVER go there again.

Paid 150 not worth it

$49 for deluxe pedicure that lasted less than 40 mins. There were a few other clients waiting, and perhaps the urgency to cater to everyone was necessary, unfortunately I won’t be back. Additionally, assuming clients want gel polish versus regular is uncalled for too. Yes, I understand it’s a luxury and $49 can be afforded however its hard earned money, and I could’ve done my toes at home and would look even better.

I got a lovely gel pedicure with warm lotion and a massage that was very comforting after a long cold Minnesota day. In addition, they gave me a cute ombre powder manicure which was done in a very efficient manner using liquid and powder on a brush to slather it on thick instead of taking forever having me dip my nails in several times as I have experienced at other nail salons. Overall a great experience :)

Have been going for a long time and they always do a great job! I’ve even recommended to friends to go and they have become regulars now.

When asked about the student discount, she told me the discount is only for students below 18 years old. LOL.Of course there is no place where this is specified (see pictures) I am 23 so this made me laugh big time.The pricing board lists $25 for gel filling yet she charged me $40 for a gel filling. she charged me $43 when I did my nails originally which I told her didn’t make a lot of sense. Especially when the pricing board says $35 and I had a coupon.To be fair her work is great, no doubt but she doesn’t used quality products so it doesn’t last as long and she is *very* dishonest. I am not using this place again, I am not recommending it either.

Love this place! Its going to be my go-to nail salon from now on. I dont get my nails done often, but this weekend I have a special event Im going to with my husband for his work. I waited a little bit, but it was no big deal and not too long. I got a gel manicure by David. He was great to talk to, I didnt really even pay attention to what he was doing with my nails as we talked about our kids, travels, and learning new languages. In the end, I got a BEAUTIFUL gel manicure! Thanks David! They are so shiny and perfect, my 3 year old called them my nail stones/gems. I absolutely love Award Nails and have been getting gel manicures and pedicures here for 8 years now. Tony and his staff are so welcoming and they do a great job.

I went to get my nails removed and the person who got me was being very rude and disrespectful. He caught an attitude with me and disregarded everything I was saying. He made my nails paper thin even after I asked him to not file/brush so much. He also made me pay $15 even though it said on their wall that it was $10 and I tried to tell him that. I will never be coming back here and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to.

BEWARE!!!A cautionary tale...My wife broke her fourth nail tonight after a recent visit to Award Nails & Spa.After spending several months carefully growing her nails out quite long and healthy, she visited Award Nails & Spa to have the previous, and grown out, dip polish removed. I’m told that some careful grinding and soaking should take place to perform the removal procedure. I’m also told that this care was not taken, and I can attest first hand to the evidence of such negligence. The nail technician, so the story goes, took a look at the outgrowth and set the grinder aside, instead opting to PRY OFF the previous coat and along with it PEEL OFF MUCH OF THE NATURAL NAIL UNDERNEATH!! To my horror and supreme disappointment, my wife now has paper thin nails that snap on just about any surface. To have her nails worked on again will now require extensions just to simply create enough of a base upon which to apply another coat of anything else whilst we wait for the nails to grow back out.Adding insult to literal injury, my wife has been a customer of Award Nail & Spa for nearly 15 years. This previous visit will most definitely be her last. Ripping off body parts and charging people for such barbarism, no less, is not acceptable.I don’t know about nail salons, but I do know that tearing off someone’s fingernails to save the time that correctly removing polish takes is not only highly unprofessional, but grounds for dismissal.Stay away from this chop shop.

It is a FABULOUS place! They do a GREAT job on your nails and eyebrows. They are efficient, clean and not expensive. They are friendly, and ready to take you even when you remember you need to be scheduled the same day.......and soon. The owners make sure they have a great selection of colors to pick from and lots of employees so you dont have to wait. I highly recommend them!

Save your money. Unprofessional work. The nail tech did a poor job and when another worker was called over she said it looked nice and shinny. Then I questioned the bubbles and ripples on both hands he first denied they were there, then tried to fix both hands, denied it again, then said it was my fault they looked like that. Big bummer I can’t trust them to honor their work.

Absolutely the worst experience in my life at a nail salon! I will never go back . I decided to treat myself and get my nails done, so me and a friend went to Award Nails. I decided to get the dip and as he was doing them I noticed that my nails were bump and uneven after he filed them and I asked him if he could make them more smooth he got annoyed I asked if he could just take them off because they looked horrible and he glared at me and then started getting aggressive he told me I would have to pay for the set and for him to take them off! I asked him if he would be comfortable as a nail salon owner letting his wife wear these nails and he said yes I asked another employee and her customer would the be comfort wearing them and the both said they wouldn’t. The customer said “ those look bad” . Aggressively he said I did nothing wrong it’s not my fault I have a family! I said who’s fault is it? I only sat here, you did my nails. After that before things got escalated any further I paid and left. Hopefully I can post a pic.

This is the best neighborhood nail salon Ive been to - Ive tried quite a few. Gel manis last forever and this is the first salon where theyre OK with you going to regular polish after having fake gel nails. I like to go back to natural like once a year and every other place Ive asked they say your nails are going to be ruined underneath, why dont you just keep it. The lady here said yeah, no problem, Ill take off the fake nails and polish the surface so your natural nails will not look ruined with regular polish. They did an amazing job. Theyre all very nice, they will make conversation if youre in the mood, but if youre looking at your magazine, theyre nice too and dont push the talk. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

Nail tools were not clean and stored in an Altoid box-yuck! One of my cuticles is injured from how rough the tech was. You go the nail shop to get your nails looking nice not bloodied! I will be getting my next gel fill elsewhere.

Worst experience ever!!! I have had my nails done here before and had a great experience, but today I waited over 45 minutes and the lady who did my nails went so fast and rough that she cut multiple fingers so badly they bled all over and would not stop bleeding. It was painful and was a really poor painting job as well!! I wouldn’t even give them 1 star!

This is Mike’s wife Peg. I have gone to this salon for over a decade now. They are always doing a great job and very attentive to what I want. Both nails and pedicures are very satisfactory.

Me and my friend went here for nails. I got acrylics and my friend got gel nails. My nail tech, although the nails look pretty good, was very rude. She told me that filing my nails down to make my nails equal would look ugly. She also scolded me many times for moving when I was not moving. While she was doing a design, she nicked the nail polish off of one of my nails then blamed me for it. She also seemed uninterested in helping me find a color that I really wanted for my nails. Even though I had a meh experience, my friend had a great experience. I think her nail techs name was Thi T M Lulu. She was very welcoming and kept conversation. She did a great paint job and was very very nice. My friend said she would give her 10 stars if she could.

They recently upgraded their pedicure chairs, SO nice & very relaxing. The staff is excellent.Pro tip: Book in advance if you can otherwise you might end up waiting during busy times.

I had just gotten engaged and wanted my nails done before I showed off my ring to everyone. I got a gel manicure and the woman who did my nails not only cut me in 2 different places but one of them was in the middle of my cuticle on my ring finger! It was horribly red and bloody. So much for having my fingers look nice while I document this once in a life time event. Not to mention I had gems placed on my middle fingers, they were all gone within a couple hours. A complete and total waste. I wont even entertain the idea of returning.

Every time I go here to get my nails done it lasts so long without chipping! They really do an awesome job! Any gel nails I have gotten done here have stayed nice and clean and lasted at least a month if not two!!

Used to love it here, this time I went and the girl started painting my nails the wrong color, it had sparkles and was red and I had picked a light pink! I told her right away but she just said no and kept painting the nails! After looking at the gels she was rushing through and the polish barely covers my nail. I will not be going back!

I went here a few weeks ago because I had gotten a horrible (what I wanted was a full gel set and what I got was liquid crap that didnt last set) set of nails. I came here purely worried I was going to get my nails destroyed simply bc I had just gotten them fully done a week before and the job I got was so bad the majority of my nails had broken..chipped...and flaked off within a 2days and by this time I had no hopes that I would get the gel set u had hoped for.I was very very pleased to be wrong.This place (and let me say it wasnt a easy task) took my crap nails off.. And put the correct gel nails on (i had gotten liquid, told at the time Id love it more and was much better .. More like its just more 💰) and the guy who did them was so nice! He felt bad I had been so upset and assured me he will make it right and I will be very happy with my nails...I have been for several weeks.. To the point where I dont need to get them done other than the fact that I have an insane amount of growth that shows my naked nail that I need to fill... But the nails he did are still perfect and not a single Nick or chip or even snag. I cannot express how much I love the job he did.Im going to go here every time!

The nails are pretty- I asked for acrylic and they didn’t hear me and heard gel. Never asked for confirmation & didn’t realize she misheard me until too late. Asked for round and got almond, no conversation whatso ever, just talked to each other in another language... no apex on my nails, got completely flat nails for $43. She didn’t push my cuticles back and used olive oil for cuticle oil... nothing but jojoba soaks like natural nail oil! Only redeeming quality was the atmosphere and the polish itself.

Im not sure about a star even. I came in back in August with my friend Jill. We both had gel manicure and I believe the sister of tony did my nails and she was so rude. The whole time she was talking in her language while she was hacking away my cuticles. She was pushy and kept telling me why I dont do pedicures. Katie the girl who did my friend did a poor piss job with her gel that lasted 3 days. She also had her eyebrow tinted and it looked horrible. Do not go there, they dont care about your needs all they want is to push you to do more so they can over charge you. The shop is filthy their tables are dusty and equipments are not sterile. I will call for my money back.

I’ve been going to this salon for well over 5 years now and have always been very happy with the service and attention to detail they have had with my nails. I’ve been there for mani’s, pedi’s and even acrylic from time to time. This past week I stopped in to freshen up my gel manicure and a new gentleman by the name of Tim, was working. Wow, I’ve never had such beautifully manicured and painted nails in my life! All of the manicurist here are great, but his perfection and focus on delivering a perfect paint - close enough but not touching the critical - was out of this world! Without a doubt, I’ll be back, and I will be asking for Tim! 💅🏼💅🏼

I have had such a great experience there! I recently moved in to the neighborhood and wanted to try it out. From the moment I walked in the door I have had nothing but great things to say. The second time I was there Tony already remembered my name. That says a lot about their customer service. I have found my new home for my nails and toes!

Very aggressive on my nails, ripped my previous gel off instead of soaking it off, used tools from a dusty tool box, I should have left right when I saw that as the tools were not soaking in disinfectant so you never know how many people they have been used on without being disinfected. The file was old and she barely buffed my feet. All they do is talk to each other in a different language and never to you as a client. I went with my sister and they rushed her pedicure and ripped at her cuticles. Both nail techs answered personal phone calls during the service, which I find extremely rude. Would not recommend this place.

Went for a mani/pedi and thought they did a nice job (5 stars if there had been longer massage or with more pressure). I asked for a design and it was super cute. Id definitely go back again.

Had to wait an hour for a pedicure and then it was only 10 mins top. They have beautiful nail color but the tech didnt paint my full nails she missed big spots.

I went here for the first time on Saturday to get a manicure for my engagement pictures I had on Sunday. I told them I just wanted a manicure and every 2 minutes (not exaggerating) they asked if I wanted gel nails instead. I said no every single time and also said I could not have them for my job (I work in healthcare) and they still kept pushing the gel nails. Long story short, my nails chipped less than 24 hours later and its now 3 days after getting them done and I have only 4 nails that have polish left on them...the rest have all chipped off. I will not go here again.

I used to go here, lady kept complaining of my toe nails being too long. I like my nails a certain length, she Literally complained the ENTIRE time I was there. I was extremely upset, did not tip her at all. I always tip, just shows how angry I was.

Hands down, one of the best nail salons Ive ever been too. I had an appointment on labor day at 5:30pm and they were busy, even though they closed at 6 that day they still saw my friend and I. Very polite. Very good work. I recieved the gel acrilics with gel cat-eye nail polish mani-pedi and its been almost 4 weeks and they havent chipped at all. Which has never happened to me before. The nails still dont even want to come off at all. (I tried taking them off because i cant get a fill at the moment) And I work in a warehouse, so Im not exactly easy on my nails. I will forever come here whenever I need my nails done. Absolutly relaxing and great work. Thank you!!

A no star rating is more accurate. Went here last week and now have an infected toe. They dig into my toes so hard with their dirty tools it was like performing surgery. Not ok! Dont go here unless you want to be on antibiotics and pay for a dr visit.

Took my daughter here for getting her nails done for Homecoming. While her nails look great, because it was her FIRST mani/pedi and she did not know what to expect they tried to slide some add ons in there that she did not need when I went next door to get my hair cut like the Paraffin Dip Hands. We said just a basic mani/pedi . . . clean them up and put color on them . . . according to the prices listed, that should have been around $35 but my bill was double that.Also, as my daughter was getting her nails done I saw another manicurists two stations over picking her nose!If it were not for the fact that it was Homecoming and we had to get to my daughters hair appointment I would have said something about the bill being twice what we thought it was going to be.

This is the only place I will ever get my nails done at. They are friendly, clean, and know what they are doing. Plus they get you in and out!

I just got home from getting my nails done here and I am sooo not pleased. The lady who did my nails seemed rushed and I did not get what I wanted. I asked for tapered squared nails and I got coffin, some are crooked and I was charged an extra $5 because theyre long.
