I have been going here for almost 3 years and it used to be consistent, the last few visits I have been disappointed every time. I’ll ask for round narrow nails and come out with chicklets on my fingers. Short and square. I mean if you do nails you have to at least know the difference. I am in the beauty industry too so I am very focused on giving my clients what they want. I used this place because it was closest to my home but I will be going elsewhere.

I love Modish Nails for their cleanliness, prices and quality. I live in Charleston, SC and try to make it to my next (quote frequent) visit to my sis in Jacksonville to get nails done. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area or to those traveling through town and want nails that last because of the careful application. My sister now goes here as well as her friends because of my positive review! Thank you, Modish, for being my go to salon even though I live miles away!

Everyone is always kind, patient, professional, and accommodating. I absolutely LOVE this place and am always made to feel very comfortable. Every time, I walk out with beautifully done nails in accordance with my ever changing requests! Wouldn’t go anywhere else 🥰❤️

I don’t usually set up nail appointments, and I love modish because they usually get started within just a few minutes of my arrival, which is fantastic! I don’t have a consistent nail tech, but they all do a fabulous job. It’s pretty quick too and a pretty decent price!

I called from across the street to see if they could fit me in, and the girl on the phone was very friendly and said to come on over. They were extremely busy so I had to wait a few, but this was v reasonable without an appointment. Services were quick, which I really prefer, and I was happy with my Mani and Pedi. I will return.

The lady got the color I did not choose. It was a color with lots of glitters, I said I do not like it. Instead of changing it because she just started painting my nails, she insisted that she will top it off with the color I will choose. This is her profession, I trusted her. But I know for a fact that she is being lazy to undo it...The outcome I have nail powder polish with scattered, uneven glitters! It was not worth it paying the $35.I am an unhappy client:( will never go back.

I went there to take off my lashes. I don’t remember the name of the lady that “TRIED” to take them off, but it was the lady working as a receptionist. She did a horrible work!!!! This lady made me sit there for 2 hrs to be exact without checking on me or anything!! I had to start yelling for her to come check on me, because she basically forgot I was there. Also she was not able to take nothing off and told me to take it off with “baby oil”....this women did not know what she was doing at all!!!! I truly do not recommend you to come to this place, such a bad experience and she was hurting my eye as well. She was also willing for me to stay longer, I WAS THERE FOR 2 HOURS ALREADY!!!! If you don’t know how to do your job then don’t tell people you’re willing to do it right!!!

I guess I would say I had a good experience I’m happy with my nails although they are kinda uneven if I compare both my hands and have a slight size difference, some of my other complaints are that my nail lady was very aggressive with my nail, kept scoffing when i couldn’t put my hand where she wanted and when she was filing my nails she kept on filing my skin [ she gave me a hangnail]. The work is also I bit sloppy there was excess polish on big chunks of my nails that I have to peel off and the prices are pretty high, although I got a 10 dollar discount i still paid 45 bucks for a simple NO DESIGN short acrylic and not to mention they forced me to get powder acrylic which was already up my budget and she wouldn’t listen to me when I told her I just wanted polish witch would cost me only 30! Nail lady was also kinda rude, we had no conversation.. I kept trying to talk to her and she just answered ignorantly like she didn’t want to talk to me and seemed annoyed, overall I still don’t think that the nails I got where worth what I paid and maybe ide come here again if I had no choice...

I’ve been coming to Modish for about a year now and am very satisfied! I go to Ida and she’s the BEST! She’s so friendly, understands what I like, and does quality work! I’m very particular when it comes to my nails and Ida delivers every time! I get a gel manicure and she shapes & paints my nails EXACTLY how I like them!My boyfriend and I typically get the Deluxe pedicures - these are amazing too!They just renovated the salon & it looks super luxurious! Would highly recommend!

I scheduled an appointment for a pedicure at 5:15. I got there at 5:08. By 5:50 I was still sitting there while 5 walk-ins where tooling care of. Finally I said something and they told me the person sandy, Who made my appointment I had to wait for! When you have an appointment it’s for a reason not to wait almost hour and then no one talks to you or takes care of you. I’m very disappointed in the behavior of their staff. Someone should’ve told me that she was with another client and asked me if somebody else could’ve took care of me instead of making me wait. As I was walking out then they wanted to acknowledge my existence inside there now salon.

I love this nail salon so much that I continue to go there even though I have moved over to the far west side of town. They do the best ombre gel nails Ive seen in Jacksonville so far.

Very clean salon, staff was very attentive and accommodating to all of our needs. The nails came out beautifully. The employees were all very kind and had great customer service. My mom, My sister, and I went to get our nails done at this salon for my mom’s birthday and they sung her happy birthday at the end. Will definitely be coming back here the next time I need my nails done. We had to stay past close and nobody had an attitude or threw a fit, they were still very kind. I was quoted 40.00 with an additional 5.00 for length - my nails are not even long koi and I was charged 75.00 for length and shape although I asked the lady and she said it was included . When the manager came she advised it was a language barrier honestly that’s not my issue . I feel robbed and tbh the nails aren’t that cute. I could overlook them for 45.00 but for 75.00 they have me messed up.

Always do an amazing job on my acrylics, however, they make a terrible habit of telling me I need to fully replace my set every time I come in... feels like theyre trying to squeeze me for more money when really I just went in to get a simple fill. Puts me in a bad mood to be in the chair for 2-3 hours when I intended to be there for 30 minutes to an hour.

I went in for a pedicure. It was the best. Dori is the best and has strong hands for a mans feet and calves.

Dory is the BEST!!! She truly understands nail and foot care. I thought I may have to get medical pedicures because of my cuticles and when I met her she explained to me how she would cut my nails to avoid excess cuticle growth. I have been so pleased with her services! I am doing this review questioning whether or not I should because shes my secret weapon! This use to be my go to nail shop all the time and now its a disaster. The employees are not friendly and dont take pride in their work most of the time and one in particular Jennifer is very rude and disrespectful to customers. I would not refer as a regular place to go. They are good for a quick run in get the job done type of thing. The owner Ann is really sweet but she needs new employees.

We had to wait a bit before they started but they did a wonderful job on my pedi! They even accommodated my friend and her baby who needed a stroller. Great experience, will definitely return.

Came in to get a pedicure and got seated right away. They offered a drink and took time to explain their different pedi packages. Really enjoyed my experience at Modish Nails and Spa.

Today was my first experience and definitely wont be my last. Was offered a beverage upon sitting my pedicure they offer a nice selection of wine or frozen drinks. The nail tech was very professional and soft spoken. Also the establishment was very clean with modern decor. Would highly recommend

This place was amazing. I’ve been hopping around nail salons for a few years now finding some that i like and some i don’t and i haven’t found one that i want to stay at but this one will definitely be one that i will be coming back to again! They are really good about making sure you get what you want and how you want it. They are really fair on their prices as well. 10/10 would recommend coming if you want to treat yourself to some amazing nails.

I have been here several time. There are two or three techs who are good, but there are quite a few techs who are not good at all. This last one made my fingers and toes bleed from picking too much around the cuticle. The salon itself is nice and there is rarely a wait.

Who doesn’t love looking good and saving? Modish nail salon provides that and more with- affordable pricing, great color selections, drinks & friendly employees! Anne (the owner) is very customer-driven and will do any and all in her power to have you walking out with a big smile. Andy personally is my favorite- his effort is always 100% and stays late just to satisfy your needs. I highly recommend this salon.

This is the best nail salon, Ana is my favorite nail tech she’s so sweet and nice and works with you on the pricing. Modish is set up so elegant, makes you feel like your living lavish. Great salon. My girl friend comes here all the time and refuses to go anywhere else. We are always offered complimentary refreshments, and even when Im not purchasing any services they let me use the massage chairs while were there. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is soothing and it is everything that you should expect from a nail salon. The employees all know us and treat us like family. Dee is the man to see. My girlfriend requests him when we come in and he works around her crazy work schedule. Modish is a 5 star establishment and deserves 5 stars every single time we come in.

Definitely been to get both manicures & pedicures plenty of times at many places and this place is only a 3/5 for me. A 2nd tier gel pedicure cost $50 and only 10 minutes of the pedicure was my toes. They hardly cleaned them and trimmed the nail well. Also the woman who did my pedicure looked angry the entire time. Also they painted my nails prior to doing any of the hot wax, exfoliation... werid. I did like the hot stones, hot wax and massage part and did feel that was more superior than most places. Overall I doubt I will return because my nails did not meet my expectations especially for the price.

It was my first and my last experience at this nail salon with a friend who visits frequently. I was reading the comments and found out that they offer beverages, interesting 🤔. It was apparent that SNS wasn’t the nail tech specialty thus she attempted to provide the service anyway. She dipped my fingers in powder at least 10x each finger needless to say it came out very thick and unnatural. I also didn’t like that I had to ask her to wipe the residue from the powder that was left after washing my hands when she had completed my nails. I just feel like getting my money and trying to get a tip was more important than actually providing quality service. If you know what a customer is asking isn’t your speciality then allow someone else to do it.

You are offered complimentary drinks and they usually have enough staff to try and get people through as quickly as possible. I prefer Jennifer! She is so sweet and great with manicures and pedicures.

I have gone to Modish several times, and each time there is something that is disappointing. The last time I went my Gel nails were only on for 7 days, which is terrible for gel. They also never have the color I want, even though they have it on the color wheel. They used to be a great place to go, but have slowly declined.

Jenn is awesome!! I go to see her at least once every month to six weeks!They just redesigned there interior and it looks good.

The worst, quickest, unrelaxing pedicure EVER...its literally been a week since Ive gotten a pedicure and 3 of my toenail polish is peeling...I.wont return because IDA at the front desk wasnt friendly or inviting and the products are poor

Tried this place out today for the first time, initial impression was it was clean and looked inviting. I got helped right away and there was no wait time.. little disappointed with the overall pedicure as when I got home I noticed my big toe had already smudged and I only had gone from the salon to my car, it did look a little thick on the coating which is usually a tell tell sign the polish will smear if the varnish is not applied flushly. I also noted how the lady next to me had arrived at the exact same time and asked for the classic, I upgraded to the “delux” to realize that we had exactly the same treatment done and was finished at the same time too, what did I pay extra for? Stick with the regular in my opinion, will give this place one more try because price is very reasonable, maybe it was just unfortunate.

My sister and I walked in instead of an appt. Pedicure was nice, manicurist was sullen, left several times to chat on the phone. Got into a heated argument with another customer over the bad manicure he provided, I got cheated out of a relaxing, enjoyable manicure.My nail chipped last night just had the manicure 5 days ago...heading over today to have it fixed...I dread this given his reaction to the last person who needed a repair.

Hands down the best pedi experience Ive had. I was greeted as soon as I came in. Lala took good care of me. I purchased the signature service. She offered a beverage and brought it a tray with the nicest products and oranges. The massage was relaxing and she was easy to talk to. Almost makes me wish I lived in the area so I could come back. Totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a great pedicure without breaking the bank. Hands down best customer service.

My technician did not want to be there and that was very evident! Went with 4 people and was never even offered anything to drink and she was done working on my feet 20 minutes before my friends. towels and rocks where not even warm and she didn’t even tell me where to dry my polish. Very unprofessional would not waste my money here again.

Ive been waiting to do my review to see if Modish nail services would get any better . However after multiple visits I regret to inform you that Modish Nail Salon is ONLY good for Pedicures .... reason being they do the wax and stones for cheap .! Now to address their nail services . DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME .

Dori gave me a wonderful pedicure. Her massage was so relaxing and not rushed. She thoroughly clean my nails and polished them to perfection. She even help me pick my color. What a thoughtful person!Phom did my manicure and he was awesome also. I enjoyed my mani pedi and I am hard to please when it comes to spa services. I will definitely request them in the future.

Not good at all. I went with my friend to get our nails done on Labor Day since my favorite place was closed. I got an acrylic fill and the execution was very poor. My nails look very sloppy. My fingers tips underneath my nail beds also hurt very bad. I am concerned that their instruments are not sterile. I cant wait to go back to my favorite place, Matrix Nails.

I usually always go to my nailPlace but when they were over booked and I needed to get my nails fill in I stopped by Modish Nails. It took my nail technician about 90 mins to do my fill in. I picked an ombré look and she messed up several times and had to go back on some nails again. She even told me it’s the first time she is doing this type of style, yikes! After my fill in my nails looked so THICK and uneven. She went over with the powder on each nail about 7 times it felt like, they kept getting thicker and thicker. Like I said on a few she messed up on and had to go back several times. On some nails my color looks okay on others a hot mess. Even my mom and friends were like why do your nails look so thick and wide ?? I had to go under my nails to clean off some of the residue and file so the powder fill in doesn’t stay on my skin it was ridiculous.

I will never go to modish again. I just came from modish 5 mins ago and I cannot believe I have glue stuck on my fingers. My hands are stuck together. It’s so disgusting. Tom is the nail tech that did my nails Never again.

I have never gone back to the same salon twice because something always irritates me. But I loved this place.

I absolutely love it here. The stuff calls me by name and I always get exactly what I ask for. I suggest making an appointment with nail tech Tee. They serve water, soda, slushies and alcohol slushies for free. Super clean.

So expensive! I am able to get the same SNS nails for half the price at other locations. The environment is nice, but the price will deter me from returning.

Walked in was in a rush, was told it would be “just a few minutes” for a pedi. Then the usual, was sat down in a chair with foot bath... waited for 25 mins and no one came. Was told again will be another 5 mins, no one came. As I got up to leave bc I couldn’t wait any longer, had to go pick up kids, the nail tech next to me started laughing and rolling her eyes. Will not be back ever again.

My daughter recommended i go here so I did.. Worst decision ever! They messed up my nails big time will never get them done again and the pedicure sucked..

DO NOT GO!!!!! My nails after 2 days were completely chipped 2 nails and the gel on top of the SNS was gone on all of them or peeling off. I’ve gotten SNS for over 2 years now from other salons and it always lasts me 2-3 weeks at minimum. Horrible quality. Worst place in jax.

I used to like this place a lot because of the service and price.. not sure what happened... came in a week ago, asked for a gel mani/pedi. I had this younger boy work on me, horrible horrible job. Worst Ive ever seen. When he was taking my gel off from my previous nails, he didnt file the top coat and left my nails to sit in acetone, wrapped in foil for 30 MINUTES only to find out the gel was not coming off at all (bc he didnt file off the top coat) I have nice, long NATURAL nails and he completely ruined them and made them brittle. The skin around my nails was burningggg. Still made me pay. Anther lady tried fixing my nails, but did a HORRIBLE job painting my nails. Went over my skin, left them dry, had to keep asking her to fix things, 2 days later, all the gel was peeling. Will not be coming back.
