Be carful ladies this place likes to take advantage of you because some woman don’t know anything about cars. My girlfriend goes there for a oil change. And right away they try to talk her into a cabin filter and a air filter and a fuel additive for $18!!!! Something that cost $3-$5 at the auto store. Sad how they take advantage of the ill informed.

Just needed an inspection. Didnt try to sell me oil change, brake fluid flush or any the other extras. Just did my biz, got the sticker and that was that! What a wonderfully refreshing experience.

Great service and I appreciate the free car wash after I have any work done. My only complaint is that the wait times have gone up significantly in the past few years. Im often told that the wait is 2 hrs for an oil change and much more for an inspection. Usually not a lunch hour errand.

Opened promptly. Be sure to park and get to the door in line if you want to get in early. Staff was friendly. Free water and coffee.

Basil Kwik Lube was a good place to go for an oil change. The personnel were very kind and explained the cost and type of oil they will use. If I had any questions, they were happy to help.

Omar was super nice. Didn’t feel like he was trying to rip my daughter off for any added charges. We were in and out in no time. Highly recommend!

Dont give them your cell number unless you want to be inundated with text messages. They will show you your cabin air filter and offer to change it for $40. They cost half that much at autozone 1 mile away and take 30 seconds to change.

Needed to get an NYS inspection asap. They got me in and out fast and I didnt have to make an appointment. They will be my go to from now on.

Good service as far as in the office, everyone is courteous and the prices are reasonable. But pack a lunch if they estimate an hour or an hour and a half double it. Ive been here two times for an oil change, two free oil changes came with my car. Looking at their prices they seem typical. There is popcorn and water provide gratis as you wait. Also provided gratis is a auto carwash, again expect a long line to redeem the carwash.

Pricey but they get the job done . wouldve been three stars if they could actually help with price. They said they will charge me $530 for full front struts replacement. And yet my mechanic said $350 and kings auto said $415 ans I myself can do it with the tools I have for 150 and couple hours of work. so basil you definitely need to work with people on price.

I always go to basil for oil changes and tire maintenance. The employees there always help me out with no issues. If they are on break they still help me out which is awesome(I never expect them too, they just do) . Great people and I cant thank them enough for helping me keep my car running well for less money

Went there for NYS inspection. I was informed it would be an hour or so wait when I got there. I was finished before the hour was up. You also receive a free car wash with any service you have done. I will be returning there for any future service.

Very friendly and thorough. This was my first time here with my Traverse and I wasnt sure what the process was. I parked out front and went in & Mike I. promptly asked if he could help me. I explained it was my first time there and he was so patient and helpful. He answered my questions & went through the services recommended for my vehicle. I will definitely drive out here for my oil changes, even though there is a Chevy dealer 5 minutes from my home. Great customer service is sometimes hard to come by but not at Basil Kwik Oil Change. Plus I love the fact I get a free car wash with the oil change.

Waited an hour for an oil change. Then had to go back because they didnt put air in my tires. Two of my tires were low before I went in and two were low after my oil change. They didnt even check them. What else didnt they check?

Everybody that works here are informative and will show you personally if your vehicle needs a doctor. Their the perfect place for your vehicle. Its not just oil changes they do, they can do an abundance of other things as well. Ive personally have been going here for years, but dont take my word for it. Go and experience them for yourself. The friendly staff members like Corey will definitely make you feel comfortable.

Wish there had been something posted to tell people it doesnt matter where you park as far as order goes and maybe a sign up sheet on the door on the days there are no appointments. Ever since I bought my car 4 years ago Ive been dissatisfied with Basil. The oil changes (required to have done at Basil in order to keep the engine warranty) have always been quite expensive, $54 ish....today I went in and theyve increased to $71 and change, more than double my regular mechanic charges. Thats just the basic oil change on 2015 Impala.....just one more reason Ill never buy from Basil again!

For a quick lube they need to put some quick in the service

This morning I called basil kwik oil change to see what my wait time would be, they said if you bring it in right now an oil change will take about 45 minutes. I also asked about if they would take some old oil for me about 3 gallons, they said they would. So I went on down and got my oil changed it took, 21 minutes and I got a free car wash. So I was happy with the service happy with the time and happy with the price. If you are a near Transit and Como Park Boulevard stop in to get your oil changed.

Service performed was excellent. The technicians at this facility are top notch and know what they are doing. Very efficient. The front desk personnel are great ! Courteous, knowledgeable and friendly.

Bit of a wait, but reasonable and expected as I went on a busy Sunday morning for an inspection. No pointless upsells accompanied the inspection which was nice, just facts on what they checked. Professional staff, efficient, and knowledgeable.

Always clean, friendly and fast. Nicely located near home for me and near nice places to walk if its a larger task. They are honest and fair. Corey! Corey! Corey! That is all I can say. I dont usually like to do anything with dealerships because the prices are usually higher..but not here. They dont rip you off. Corey is always willing to help. He helped us when the brakes went on my car the day my daughter was graduating. He got us in and out in time to attend the College graduation. He always has helpful suggestions. Yesterday we had a nail in the tire. He had us in and out in less that 30 minutes. The hours are a huge convenience to those who work during the day. We really appreciate Corey and the staff for always being professional and helpful.

I had my inspection done and was able to use a $10 off coupon from the Buffalo News. The employees are courteous and I received a car wash code to be used. 👍🏻They offer coffee and donuts. Apples and water😊

Terrible customer service!! I was waiting in the back before they opened for a half an hour. When they opened the man tried to unlock the back door but he was unable to so he unlocked the front door and a ton of people came in before me. I felt this was extremely unfair!! My hour oil change turned into a 2 hour oil change. I said something the the man working and he was extremely nasty and rude to me. I will be bringing this up to management.

I wont go anywhere else I own a gmc now but still go so does my fiancee. They are fast and friendly have a great price on oil changes and other services and give you a free car wash good for up to a week. You cant even do a synthetic oil change at home for any cheaper we checked. I had a maintenance package from a dealer out of state they couldnt get an APPROVAL BECAUSE THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED SO BASIL ENDED UP GIVING ME A FREE OIL CHANGE! I wont go anywhere else..they also have a very nice clean waiting lounge but your not there long

Had an oil change and inspection. Very busy on the last day of the month of course. Was told it could take up to 2 hrs. which is what happens when you wait until the last minute! I was pleasantly surprised to have my car ready in less than an hour. Omar was professional, courteous & kind. Offered bottled water, coffee, donuts & popcorn. You can watch TV, read the paper or magazines while waiting if you dont have your phone to entertain yourself. They give you a free automatic carwash upon check out. I will definitely return !

Brought my sons SUV into Basil because he hit a pot hole pretty hard and the vehicle was shaking while being driven. The guys took a look at it and told us that their was really no major damage done and the vehicle is safe to drive. Thanks Basil for easing my mind.

Quick & efficient. I was leaving on a trip today, & at the last minute I decided I needed a new wiper blade & my tires rotated. They got me right in, & I was done in an hour. They explained my options to me, & there was no pressure to purchase anything extra. I did, however, choose to add an oil change to save money on the tie rotation. The complimentary car wash is always appreciated.

Horrible customer disservice... I found that they try to talk down to you. Dont let them, call them out when you catch them in a lie. Asked a simple question for a very simple service and got 3 different answers from 3 of the 5 sitting behind the counter. Many many places to go within a few minutes of their location. Will not return and will tell anyone who cares to listen, find another place, stay away.

Used walk in vehicle inspection

This time the attendant was nice but seemed like a robot. Barely looked at me & quickly ran through his spiel. My overall review of Basil would be minus a star between how I was treated when I purchased my car & how my girlfriend was treated when she had her car in the collision shop. She took her business elsewhere & so will I.

Definitely a respectable place for a oil change! Im from Michigan just here visiting and had to get an oil change and tire rotation before heading back, they took their time which I dont mind because I know its done right. They checked over everything including a battery check and actually handed me a print out of the results. The guys were friendly and knowledgeable. They even went over the wear on my brakes and tires. Very reasonable prices and Im very satisfied with their service. I will always come back to them if and when im back in the area. Thanks guys great job!

When they call this place Kwik oil change, theyre not kidding. Whenever I come in here, theres a pretty good crowd seated in the waiting area, but they move them right through without delay. Plus, the work is done right & the staff is courteous & thorough. Though I dont live close by, its worth the drive.

Over all good service. How ever they did claim my check engine light was on which it wasnt I had bought the car and had to get an inspection in my name it was inspected last month they told me it would be a diagnosis charge to figure it out I said Ill come back show me this and just guess.... It wasnt on they both claimed it was on telling me they saw it. To bad im a former Auto tech. Lol other than that they took very good care and had.donuts and coffee for customers.

Time for that 5000 mile visit to Basil Quick Lube . It was a little bit more pleasant this time around, I was greeted by Omar who was very pleasant and nice. To be honest was the first person in a long time to be so upbeat and friendly. I know dealing with customers all day long can be trying on someones patience, but Omar was a Ray of sunshine on this hot day. Had me in and out of there in no time. Hats off to Omar keep up the good work.

Great place. First time Ive ever had the final, actual cost be LESS than they originally estimated! Also, I dropped my car off and walked to get food, it started pouring rain, and they called me and came and picked me up so I didnt have to get soaked! Excellent service!

No issues with basil but I went for an oil change and to check my parking brake because it doesnt hold the car.I dropped my car off. When I got the call it was done, they said the parking brake was fine..I called 2 people out and literally showed them that the car was moving with the parking brake on..they swore they checked it and appeared puzzled. Not sure what happened here. Will still get my oil changed here but thats it

I can honestly say I have never experienced more rude staff anywhere than here. Omar is unprofessional and miserable to talk to. I came in on Sunday around 10:15am for an oil change and asked for a time estimate. His response was I cant give you one I arranged for a ride because Omar said 16 cars pulled in before me so I figured it would be a long time. Once my ride arrived (about 20 mins later) I noticed my car was on the lift being worked on. I decided it wasnt worth leaving and I should just wait. Once I saw my car in the parking lot I went in to cash out. Omar made me wait an additional 15 minutes to pull up paperwork even though no one was in line. Wow. I WILL never come here again.

The Basil Kwik Oil Change on Transit rd in lancaster has offered some of the best possible ways of getting your my truck to where it needs to be. They have done great with my truck maintenance and well as offering quick and easy meeting times and overall vehicle car. Their employees are very well trained and are approachable on all different aspects of questions you may have for them.
