I loveeeee Ny Nails . They are professional sanitary gentle and the quality of the nails are amazing . I work a very demanding job and my nails last throughout the course of a month or until i decide to soak them off . I always get compliments on my nails and asked where i go . The prices aren’t outrageous or overpriced for the quality . I feel at home every visit . The owner is so sweet and understanding if you ever want to spark a conversation while getting your nails finessed he is down to listen . Deann did my nails. She explained to me the process for the nail style I wanted. I was in town visiting and changed my style. The owner and Deann were very nice and professional. I loved the atmosphere and their energy. I will be visiting Jacksonville more and will definitely go back to see Deann again for my nails

Hugh did my nails after someone recommended him. He rushed through my nails. Didnt address the lift in a nail I asked him about. Barely put any acrylic on for my fill. Did a sloppy job painting gel polish. I have streaks and odd looking spots and marks on my nails. Im very disappointed and now need my nails redone. Not worth the 60.00. He wasnt happy when I pointed out the bad job. Find another place to go, that will listen and not do sloppy work.

David is always above professional, happy and caring. Everyone is pleasant and polite, with many color (including gel) polishes available. This is the best place for all types of nails, would recommend this place above all others.

Hugh and his staff at NY Nails are great at what they do! They accept walk-ins, but appointments are definitely the best way for you to get in and out. Their prices are competitive,but their service is above standard. NY Nails is the only salon I trust with creative license for my nails and feet.

Hugh is very unprofessional and disrespectful to clients. He talks as if customers are beneath him. The atmosphere is so unpleasant because he criticizes other workers to clients and he rushes your nails and when you complain he act as if it is your fault.

Great atmosphere, clean and friendly. They do some great work. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

This was my daughter and I, first time coming to this salon. We came in two pedicures and the wait was a little longer than we were told, but they really made up for it. They did amazing on our toes, they are super friendly and made us feel so comfortable and made us want to come back. The salon is so beautiful inside. Best salon experience ever! Definitely would recommend coming here!!!!!! I loved it!

After hurting my fingers three times without apologizing .she broke one of my real nails, without apologizing .I sat there in silence no conversation.the manicure itself is sloppy and very poor quality

The (new) owner has totally redone the interior and it is very nice. All the techs are very friendly and skilled. A regular manicure is $20 with gel polish. Its a couple of dollars more than some places but less than some others I have been to. Its a nice place so its worth it to me.

Ive been going to this salon for over a decade - thru a few ownership changes, renovations, etc.The current owner is nice and has a great relationship with his clients. Im not super regular, but they know me by face now.I do basic pedicures and either gel or SNS dip manicures. I see David who is young and super upbeat. He has great stories and ideas for colors and designs. Hes still learning so isnt always perfect, but his next door neighbor at the counter watches and helps when needed.Ive never been disappointed in my nails from here.

Hugh is the bomb! He’s been doing my nails the past two years. And I learned not everyone and do what I want unless I make an appointment with him. He is extremely busy so make sure you book in advance . Highly recommend. I get so many compliments when he does them !

I had my first visit here today, and had a GREAT experience. I had a fill done with Camila, and she did a fantastic job! They made a new customer!

Hugh and his staff are friendly and accommodating. Walked in for a pedicure without an appointment. It was busy but only had to wait 15 minutes. Leslie who did my pedicure was proficient and gentle. The chair gave a nice massage too (my favorite part).

Everyone was nice and courteous...the owner was very attentive to everything and jumped in when necessary. Alot of the customers are regulars and has a good relationship with the staff. Very disappointed in the service. Hugh did my nails. He was very unprofessional, disorganized and distracted the entire time. My nails are uneven and some the tips are not smooth/ buffed. I would not recommend the place. One positive note David did my pedicure and he was great!

I went in to get a simple fill. The bigger guy said he needed to replace my pinkie nail, totally fine. But then procedded to take off all of my nails. Gave me colors I did want and would not listen to me, just kept telling me that they look beautiful. I ended up getting a regular gel manicure that was supposed to last 3 weeks, it hardly lasted 1. Worst place I have ever gone to.

I am very disappointed with this salon. I normally travel to Orlando to get my nails done but I went here trying to find a salon is Jacksonville. Worst decision ever. I now have a nail fungs I have to treat because the acrylic wasnt put on correctly and it was so thick that once the nail started growing it caught on to everything because it wasnt a smooth grow out.

The chubby older guy that works there did the worst nail job Ive ever had. I got sns nails and I try to tell him that he was not putting any on the tips and he was just adding it to the center he kept shushing me. I am a grown ass woman you dont tell me to shush. I put you so that means do my damn nails the way I like it. Im walking out of here with my hands looking like clown hands! Terrible terrible not to mention the remodel looks like a bar. Uncomfortable and unprofessional. Never again

1st time in my life my nails havent started lifting after a week. They are super nice there and can do any design I show them off pintrest. Pricing is good as well

They offer very reasonable pricing. I have been going here to get my nails done for probably close to the last 6 or 7 months and in that time Ive only had one issue and with my nails not lasting. I get the SNS powder dip. The staff is friendly.

We bought a gift certificate for $50 as we were referred here by a good friend. Upon my fiance attempting to use the gift certificate after rendering services, they refused to accept the gift certificate - apparently the CASH they took is only honered in their store for 6 months. Horrible and atrocious business practice, not to mention it only expired 2 weeks ago and they still wouldnt honor it. Slimy at best.

I had a mani and pedi done there and my nails look terrible. They took $5 off, but I feel like they shouldnt have charged me at all. I seriously could have done a better job myself, at home, while drinking and blindfolded. Im very unhappy about how they look and whats worse is that everything is STICKING to them. Gel shouldnt stay sticky indefinitely. Its just not okay. Plus, the kid (maybe 16 or 17 and Im not joking) made me bleed. And my pedi was painful. It is just a bad nail job. That cost way too much.
