Me and my boyfriend went here to get pedicures. We got the second expensive pedicure which I believe is the deluxe or something like that, which includes exfoliation and massage. Neither one of us received an massage. The exfoliation scrub was rub on us for about 10 seconds. When we got home we had dead skin peeling off our feet due to the scrub not being rub on our feet completely or for a enough time. One of my big toe wasn’t completely painted (I noticed when I got home). This was the worst pedicure I ever received. However the staff was friendly but just not worth going back to this salon. There are many other salons in rivercity. I highly recommend skipping this one and trying another.

I needed my nails soaked off. While my nails soaked in acetone . 2 customers came in at different times To get pedicures -he had not checked my nails at all at this point and never did. Another worker came in as well as a third customer and he started to work on her pedicure. I had to ask him to come check my nails I have been soaking in this aceto-he said someone else would be in soon. I immediately left to go home to take the acetone off my nails.

The service is great. The techs have great personalities and make you laugh a little. There is wine available during your session, water and soda too. Very sanitary, they open individual packages with a file a buffer and something else, for each client. Oh and the hand scrub at the sink is awesome sauce.

Technician was messy with polish. He did not shape my nails properly. Just poor work . Definitely will not return.

Would rate 0 stars if I could! Worst business Ive ever encountered! Was waiting, with our feet in the spa water, for over an hour to get our pedicures (spa chairs were also dirty when we were sat, and it took 20 mins and multiple requests to have the previous persons water/liner removed). They werent very busy, and several people came in after us and were taken care of before us. I politely asked the nail tech how much longer it would be, as several others who came after us were already gone. She went nuts and started berating my mother and I, saying it was our responsibility to tell them that we were next in line. At one point she was so loud other customers became concerned. I tried explaining to her that we didnt mind the wait, just that we were there before many of the others, feet in water. She just kept screaming at us and saying thats on us, and that she cant begin to know who is next in line. Keep in mind she is the one who seated us to begin with. At the end of it all, my mom is trying to pay and she is yelling at her to hit certain buttons on the card machine. We asked multiple time to speak with the supervisor and she reluctantly gave us the managers name. The whole time this is happenin the other staff members just sat and watched, while other customers were horrified. Cant imagine how they stay in business while this.

We went in for pedicures and hot stone massage and stones wasnt even hot. Lady was rude . Cant believe they treat you like this when we come here all the time.

Did a good job but the lady who did my nails seem like she was rushing however she did a good job thankfully. Kinded sarcastic when I asked different things. This was my first time here and every nail place do things different. She was laughing as if I asked a dumb question.

I walked into the nail salon and not only told the nail technician that I wanted a SNS mani/pedi multiple time but wrote it down as well. I grew my nails out because I didn’t want to deal with the unhealthiness that are acrylic nails. She then proceeds to cut my nail off anyways. I stared at her and told her “I told you I didn’t want acrylics.” And she said “you should’ve said something.” I did. I verbally told her and wrote it down on the sign in sheet. I should’ve left then. In fact, I threatened to leave twice. However, my nails looks atrocious because she lazily cut them so I had to get acrylic. My nails have only been on for a week and they already are looking awful. I could’ve gotten a basic classic mani that would’ve lasted longer than a week if I knew she didn’t know how to properly do acrylics. $75 wasted!! I see why her salon was empty on a Sunday afternoon.

Spent $105 here for Mother’s Day. 5 days later I came back because my gel polish began to chip and staff was very unwilling to fix even though they state there’s a 7 day warranty. So not only was it over priced the first time for a gel color change, $25, Phuoung wanted to charge me when I came back for repair. I do not recommend this salon at all.

Did not enjoy my experience. They made my nails so thick and bulky from probably way too much sns powder. They charged 50 for just ombré nails. I didn’t even get a full set of acrylics or anything. I am not even familiar with being charged THAT much for just a colour. The ombré overall wasn’t even gradient, was poorly done. When asked to fix my issues they seemed to not even see what the original problem was. Do not recommend coming here

As we were on vacation in jacksonville we ran into this location. The nail tech that did my daughters nails was AWESOME. I ask the young lady Krista about lashes and she did mine and even referred me to someone in my city. My lashes are lite but full and I have been getting compliments all week. Great team work here.

Love it. They take care of ya. I am a return client. Even the hot towel at the finish. Make you wish you could stay longer.

My husband and I really like their service. My favorite there to do my manicure is Tiffany. She is really good and I am always satisfied with her work. Henry who used to do my pedicure is also very good. For almost a year now this has been our favorite place to go and would never want to try somewhere else. I highly recommend Nail Studio to everyone. Just ask for Tiffany for manicure and Henry or Nancy for pedicure, you will never regret! 👍

They were very nice and the gentleman doing mine pedicure was good. Super happy with the service. The loss of 1 of the stars is because the place is a little run down. My massage chair was ragedy and the place didnt smell great.

Been here a couple times already and so far its been a great experience. Cant complain about the manicure or pedicures. Decently priced and no issues. Would recommend over a few other salons in the area.

Let me tell you, Id been getting my nails done here for months, even with only a gel overlay on top of my real nails I ended up getting FUNGUS on 3 or 4 of my nails! Theyre so messed up I cant even get them done because my nails are lifting up away from the nail bed. Ive been getting my nails done for over 20yrs and NEVER had this happen to me. And theyre over priced! The location is close to home and once I pick a place I stick with them but Id advise you to stay away from here. Im quite confident that a lot of the people working there are not certified or had proper training. Yet another reason I got stuck like this Im sure

The pedicure was great and the staff are VERY friendly. The gel manicure... not so much. The technician did not pay attention to the shape of the nail, size of overlay, tips of nails (unfinished product), under nails or cuticles. I don’t like having to pay attention to detail the entire time instead of being able to relax.

They are usually super great designs and last a long time but broke a nail literally the next day and they started to chip. Jewels were an extra twenty and the next day 2 popped off. I have had better experiences here, holiday flow problems.

Ive been going to Nail Studio for ten years. I love their staff, they always do a great job, they care about the people they serve and I cant recommend them highly enough. All of their staff are great but you can ask for Tiffany, Henry or Lucy - they do great work!

HORRIBLE ! The lady didn’t put the same size nail on my acrylic on two fingers and the shape of my thumb nail wasn’t even filed straight across and she continued to paint over it after i pointed out to her that it wasn’t filed down so it was straight. They tried to make up prices as they went. Not ever wasting my time or money here again.

If I could truly give this place the reading it deserved it would be 5 black stars for negativity almost three hours for a pedicure and a straight manicure no fill-in no tips just a straight pedicure manicure 3 hours and cost me $65 that is outrageous they tack on $5 for every little thing when I walked in the door it was supposed to be $35 for a mani-pedi I wasnt the only one in there that had a three-hour experience or more and they werent even that busy and theyre not that good my French tip flight before I even got home and the back of my heels are not smooth like they are when I go to my place down home God I hate Jacksonville

Not great! They had us soaking for over an hour for our pedicure. Water was cold and we pruned. A lady came in and was started before us even tho we had been waiting. I got up to leave and they finally acknowledged me. Said hed start me right then. But at that point I was not in the mood. He tried to get me to stay. So they will finally work on you if you decide to leave because they dont want to lose money. Not worth anyones time!! Wont be going back!

Nicer than all the other ones in the area however, there is another one coming soon on the other end of Lowes Home Improvement across the parking lot, cant wait

This place only had two workers in there and they were moving at a pace they felt was good enough for them. Also they were not very friendly,,non social,,stale hey....

First of all they kept me waiting for 40 minutes which I could have lived with. I think the lady got upset when I complained about the wait because she roughly jerked my hand around. She proceeded to cut me as she was filing. She proceeded to cut me a second time while filing and this time there was blood. I yelled and told her she needed to stop cutting me. The nail job is not good.I will not be going back to this place.

Miss Anna did not do the best job.My big toe nails are croocket.Any other Salon will smooth out the surface of your natural nails with a fine file, that did not happen. I had to ask her to do it. It seems they just want you in and out.Not going back!

This place was not staffed properly. The manager was so busy checking her phone that she didnt even acknowledge our presence. The tech that did my finger nails was new but the job he did on my finger nails was terrible. I dont know his name so I cant identify him personally. I will not go back to this shop.

Brought my 12yo little sister with me.I got an SNS mani and she got a pedi. The nail tech ground off my cuticles instead of clipping them and cut open my finger.Little sister said the pedicurist scrubbed her feet too hard and she told her to stop. She continued without correcting.Will NEVER recommend to friends or family..

I was given a gift certificate for my birthday and cashed in on a Sunday afternoon. I did not wait long to be seated for my pedi, was offered a beverage and asked which package I would like. The gentleman did a decent job, a little sloppy with the paint (gel) but he was gentle and attentive. The massage chair was amazing!I waited several minutes for the tech to do my full set. She hastily clipped my natural nails much too short and very jagged. I should have walked out then.She was super rough and asked me not to watch her because I seemed nervous when she was actually hurting me. She made 2 of my fingers bleed and kept rubbing them with gritty hands, hurting me even more. I asked for extra antiseptic hoping that will help prevent an infection?! She ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience..The wax.. she got some in my hair and they are not straight or symmetrical.I did not get any of their names.I may give this place a second try if I try every other salon in N Jax first.

Worst experience ever. I will never come here again. I went in for a pedicure. The water was extremely to hot. The tech was really rough and kept snatching my feet out of the water. She cut my nails too low and causing pain.

Felt rushed. Attendant was on phone 5xs during mani and stopped pedi few times to watch The Price is Right. Advertised complimentary wine but was not an option. Made my toe bleed during pedi.

They dont have their prices listed so that they can make up prices while youre getting the service. I was told one price and when I looked at my receipt, the wax representative had charged me more than the usual price AND the price she stated right before swiping my card. She said one price but then added extra right before swiping my card as if I wasnt going to notice. Total crooks!! This was my first and last time going to this place. NEVER again!! Just imagine the few dollars that theyve stolen from other customers that add up over time.

Absolutely terrible. My gel polish didnt even last a week and when I went in to get a few nails fixed, they told me none of them were working on Sunday and couldnt help me. Terrible service. I will not be going back. Money down the drain...regular polish lasts longer than their gel job.
