I had a 4 PM appointment on Sunday, July 25th and no one was there to receive me. Backstory, I arrived the day before upon them opening and met a man who said that they didn’t have any appointments available on Saturday which was fine. But he offered me an appointment at 11 o’clock on Sunday the following day and I was unavailable. His next appointment he stated was at 4 PM on Sunday and I confirmed with excitement. Well here I sit at 4:04 PM and there’s no one here. I have been sitting here since 3:39 PM.And yes there was a no lit up open sign on the door but I felt like maybe he’ll be here at 4 o’clock or so will be here for o’clock to receive me. At 3:58 PM I called the number that’s listed on the doors and no answer. Poor customer service! I will not be returning.

Went in and got my nails done, they were late, but the girl did a nice job and she was pleasant.

They refused to do my 4 year old nephews nails just because he is a boy ! His mom is a single mother and he just wanted to go out for a girls day and he had to tag along and what should have ended in a nice day ended up In tears Because they refused service ! It’s pride month for one ! 2021 for 2 ! He’s just a child that doesn’t understand why he couldn’t get his nails done and why he was treated differently and ignored for 3! Y’all should be ashamed and can go right to hell !

After searching and searching for a nail salon that doesnt feel like Im being rush thus place was above and beyond my expectations. They were super friendly great service took their time and over all made my time there very relaxing. I would 100% recommend this place you will not be disappointed.

I love coming to them!! Very sincere and sweet. They stay busy since they are smaller, so make an appointment or be patient :) . Cheaper then the big brands of Jacksonville too!

This was my first time going... it was nice and peaceful it was a husband and wife... very friendly, funny, clean and professional. My nails look amazing!!! I liked that they had good conversation and enjoyed talking! I will make this my permanent place for my nail care.

My favorite place to get my pedicures locally. Ajs wife is kind, gentle, friendly and a pleasure everytime I visit. She remembers you after the 1st visit and their prices are fair and not absorbitant. Def my go to for pedicures. Clean place also.

So satisfied with my visit to this place. My number one requirement is sterility, naturally. After having a HORRIBLE experience at another place I decided to come here and they did not disappoint! I was highly satisfied with the cleanliness and the quality. The guy who did my nails made sure he wasn’t hurting me when clipping my cuticles and kept asking if I was satisfied with the color. Great customer service and overall experience. I will be a regular from now on!

Very clean following all guidelines it seems. Service is very good. Shield guards all over. A little pricey for regular mani pedi. but it was a good experience. Nails came out good.

This is my favorite place to get a pedicure! The only place that reliably gets rid of the painful issue of an ingrown nail on my big toes from wearing boots for 8+ hours a day every time I go. Some of the staff are quiet, while others are talkative and/or funny, but all of them so far have done an amazing job helping me take care of my feet that are constantly dealing with pain and rigors during the work week.This last time I went in particular was amazing. My husband and I had both had a rough week, which continued when we got there. I dropped a bottle of nail polish while I was deciding what color I wanted and it broke open. They were kind and said not to worry about it. Then my sensitive skin couldnt take the hot water or some of the heated treatments. My husbands water needed to be re-filled and while the staff were busy attending to other things, we failed to notice that his water was overflowing until there was quite the mess of our shoes and a good section of the floor. (I dont blame the staff for this, as the water had been prepared beforehand, so this would not have been a concern had his water not needed to be re-filled. So they would otherwise have had plenty of time.)These are small matters, but for us this was just added on to a pile of other events that had compiled and perhaps caused us to feel more anxious than it normally would/should have. Still, the staff were courteous and did a wonderful job.

The best nail salon in town. My daughter has a problem with sweaty hands. Weve been to alot of nail salons trying to find one that will not make her feel bad about herself. She has treatment twice a week in Wilmington NC. Eddie made her feel so secure. She was so happy! He did a great job on her nails. We will now only go to AJ nails! This salon is so comfy

I have been to AJ nails for a pedicure years ago and more recently just for oops repairs. Its a great family unit. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the owners have become like uncle and aunt to many of their clients which i admire. They call each by name, are genuinely interested the well-being of each one who sits in a chair for fun, relaxation and beautifying their nails, eyebrows, feet and for a few i have observed even their personal challenges. Ill continue to come here for repairs and maybe revisit the pedicure area soon. However not ready for the full Monty yet i still have a local as my primary nail technician. Continued Blessings for this family and business.

Got a pedicure at AJ Nails today and it was great. The chairs are very comfy and it gives you a nice back massage while my feet are pampered and made to look and feel fantastic. I got the plus pedicure and got a wonderful 10-15 minute foot massage. The pedicurist took her time and was very friendly. I will definitely go again and highly recommend.

AJ Nails is one of my favorite pedicure places in Jacksonville. The quality of their work is great. Unfortunately I get turned away at the door more times than not. They are always so busy that the wait is 1-2 hours or you just can’t be seen. It’s very frustrating! They don’t take appointments on the weekends making it impossible to be seen if you have commitments during the work week.

Took my 85 year old mother in law to AJ Nails for her 1st ever pedicure. She has dementia and is in late stages of osteoporosis so she cant cut her toenails, and she wont let me do it for her. The service was above anything you can imagine! The gentleman was especially helpful and so sweet! Moms feet have never looked so good! She said it felt like she had new feet!! You really need to check this place out.....you wont regret it!!! And the prices are so cheap!!!! 5 stars all the way!!!!!!!

I got a pedicure and a full set done on my first visit. The environment was relaxed and super comfortable. They even offered me a glass of wine for my visit. My acrylic/ gel polish nails stayed fully on for 3+weeks! I swear by this place and their products! I came in for my second time for a pedicure and a fill and cut down (since my original acrylic nails are still completely still in tact ♡ ) I get the deluxe pedicure including a massage and its amazing every time! I LOVE this place!!!

Warning new customers: my daughter and I just waited for 30 minutes while 3 employees were chatting with a customer they evidently knew... no one else was in the place should have been no wait at all... we left after 30 minutes. Will not be back.

The man did an incredible job on my nails! I came in with a picture and he gave me Exaclty what I wanted and better! He also really cared about the shape I wanted and kept asking if I liked them! He was also funny and good with customers!

I’m new in town and wanted to get my nails done so I headed to the salon with the best reviews. Store hours said they open at 11am on sundays. Showed up at 11:05am and about 6-7 girls were already waiting outside the door. The store was not opened so I waited in my car. At 11:20am I left. The store was STILL not open. A company that doesn’t open at the time of their posted hours and makes customers wait a half hour outside doesn’t care about their customers at all. I took my money down the road and had a great experience at another salon near by. And shocker: they were open when they said they would be! I will never be back to this location again.

Fantastic place!

When I came here. I asked for coffin shape medium length. They ignored me and gave me shorter nails then when I came in. And they were square.After about a day the paint had all but scratched all off. Even when being careful.They do what they want with your nails.I was not pleased.Price was nice. But I will not being going here again.

While this place doesnt have any tvs (I recommend putting one or two in) I found it was overall awesome. I came here with my mother right at opening and we were the only two there. The construction outside isnt ideal, but I understand its not their fault. Also the background music was rock, which just doesnt seem appropriate for a salon, especially when theres no tv. I would say its not as nice of an interior as other newer salons in the area. But the great reviews are for the prices, and service. I had a wonderful massage as part of the manicure. Which was $12! You read that right. Not one of those short massages, it was long and strong. Its only been a couple of days but so far the polish has stayed on. I will be coming back, and recommend trying here!

Love this salon. Ive been here my whole life and this is by far the best nail shop in town.

DONT NOT GET GEL NAILS DONE HERE . They use a illegal product called mmda on your nails to where your nails are not able to come off without having to rip of your nail . When you try to take it off very gooey nail bed was really damage from the polish and then drilling my nails before applying the gel. Nails was in pain for whole week after got done . Never experience such a bad nail place. Rude workers too.
