Its a fine place, but customers and some workers were giving my boyfriend looks because he got a pedicure. My nails were also not painted very well; the lady doing my nails didnt even paint my whole pinky nail. The pedicure option we chose was $50 so I dont think it was worth the money.

Hollywood nails is amazing. Not only are all of their techs extremely talented in everything, theyre also experts in taking stuff OFF. Ive never had a place take as much care to take acrylics off as here. They saved my natural nail SO WELL after I wanted my set taken off. Would absolutely recommend!

I absolutely LLLLLOOOOVVVVEEEEEE this place!!! It’s hard to find a nail shop that consistently does your nails like you want. But this place is 5 star, 6 star, even 10 star!!!! They are the best!!!!! I have been going here now for about 4 months (every 2 weeks) and they have never let me down!!! I always leave there feeling 100% beautiful!!! I can’t stop looking at my nails!!! I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone!!!!

Worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. Never going back. I had gel polish on my toes and the nail tech began to peel it off my toes. Wouldn’t soak it off or use the electric file. Manager was rude and said the nail tech wasn’t in the wrong for peeling it off my toes and that it wouldn’t ruin my nails.

Bought a gift certificate for $40 and when my daughter went to redeem it they said it expired. Pointed out that gift certificates can not expire in Illinois since 2008 with the Illinois Consumer Fraud Act, and was told they dont care about that law.

Young man that did my pedicure was ok, however, man at front desk treated my daughter- in-law shabbily and she left before being served. Very disappointed and will not return there. Cant believe it.

Lovely spent time

Been going here for 3 months with no problems the staff is outstandingly kind and sweet, even when they had young kids running around. This place was recommended by a few of my friends and I’ve recommended them to more. My nails come out almost flawless every time. I do prefer the male workers because in my opinion the do a better job but all of them do much better jobs than any other salon in this area

I just found out Holly and Anna are working at Twees nails in crystal lake, they don’t work here anymore, this salon has a new owner and new staffs. Holly and Danie have been doing my nails for years and I tried the new technicians for a couple times and I don’t like it, they are not bad but holly know my nails better . Many of my friends too . Now drive to crystal Lake to get my nails done, I better have a little longer drive to get the people that I like . And I saw Anna is working over here too .

I once loved going to Hollywood Salon to get my nails done. Then suddenly I had to wait a half hour even with an appointment. Powder dip chipped in one day. One nail broke. Staff had completely changed. They did seem to know what they were doing.

Just got a pedi. First once since quarantine... Expect a temp check, having to wear a mask (of course) and a COVID contract (no big deal). They did a great job, Emily did my pedi and she was awesome.

Love this place. The pedicures are amazing. I am liking the no chip organic dip powder manicures. Lasts 3-4 weeks without any chips! Removal of the product is easy and nails felt great after. The salon is clean and staff is nice.

Im usually a walk in for these services because Im severely unable to get myself to schedule anything in advance. That means I get who I get when I get there. The skill level definitely varies. Ive had awesome nails coming out of here and Ive had good nails coming out of here. Ive never had a poor experience, so Ill keep going back. Prices are fair / competitive.

Used to love coming here. The last 3 times Ive gone in with an appointment (pedi), Ive sat there anywhere from 45-60 min. While my feet sit in cold water. Not sure if theyre just understaffed.

Ive been to nail salons all over the area, Hollywood Nails is by far the best. Ive gone to them consistently for over 2 years now. I made the mistake of visiting another salon in Elgin, INSTANT REGRET! Went straight to Hollywood Nails and Nam fixed them for me! Clean and comfortable, you definitely get your moneys worth!

What a dump. They charged my wife $5 more than it normally cost and when she asked why it was more, they didnt give her a valid reason. Must be a special Labor Day extra fee. Sat there and waited for an hour before being seen by anyone. There was only 1 person on staff helping everyone. Perhaps they all went to lunch or a break at the same time, because suddenly other people showed up an hour later to help everyone.Extremely rude staff and terrible service. Hard to believe this place is still in business with all the junk reviews and terrible customer service. Hire some more customer friendly people if you want my money again.

I liked the pedicure, massage could have been longer since I did pay for the upgraded pedicure that said longer massage. It didnt seem longer. But other than that, I did like how the polish came out.

Staff was not very attentive, she shaped my nails wrong and left the edges uncomfortably square/sharp cornered. The design I asked for was pretty simple, and ended up looking like something I couldve asked a friend to do for me instead of paying for it. Will not be back.

Mom loved getting her nails done here for years. Now that shes passed, I love the care they have for me too. ;)

I am rarely UNBELIEVABLY IMPRESSED with my nails, and let me just say Amy is literally amazing. Not only are my nails PERFECT, she didn’t take 3.5 hours for my mani and pedi. I happened to be in the area (I live in palatine but needed my nails done so I came here) and I would seriously consider making the drive to Huntley just for Amy. She’s young, but SO talented!!!

Beautiful nails, gorgeous building and relaxing atmosphere. The deluxe pedicure was the BEST that Ive ever had! The staff was wonderfully friendly, talented and attentive. I would 100% definitely return and recommend this salon for manicures & pedicures.

I will never go back. The lady used a metal tool to push back my cuticles without any cuticle remover. I asked for it a couple times because it didnt feel right. She said she just doesnt use it. We were almost done with the manicure and I was still asking her when she was going to take my previous nail polish off. Unbelievable. She was just rude to me and kept snapping later! later! at me. I have to say it was the first time I ever got a manicure where my nail polish wasnt removed until it was time to paint them. Just weird.

Wanted to try a new place, came here as it was next to a store I needed. Wow. 5 stars. Nam (sorry if not spelt correctly) was amazing. Referring friends and will be coming back.

I enjoy the nail work I have had done here. They are very good at what they do. I love the massage chairs for the pedicures and how relaxing the environment is with the soft music and dim lights. My only complaint would be that I wish more of the nail technicians spoke better English so that they could understand me and I could understand them better. Sometimes the language barrier is frustrating for both sides.

Clean, clean, clean...thats what I love about this nail spa. They autoclave all of their instruments & use one set per customer. The technicians are attentive & talented all in a very relaxing atmosphere.

My wife and daughter have been getting their nails done here for many years. The service is always good and the prices are fair.

Really enjoyed the massage that was part of the pedi. Only criticism is that a little more organization is needed in differentiating walk in from appointments when you enter.

Ive gone here on and off for last few years for pedicures. I like their types of pedicure packages. However, I am tired of their rude behavior. I always go in there clean, legs shaven, pleasant, and I tip $50 because it takes a little more effort with me because my heels need more time. Most of them act annoyed that they have to grate my heels longer. While I sympathize, they know by now tip very well. They make negative facial gestures to each other while Im sitting there looking at them, they talk and laugh while Im sitting there, Its so obvious they are complaining or making fun of me by the way they are acting. Never returning. Doesnt happen to me anywhere else I have gone.

I was a customer for 3.5 years. Typically a good job, if not good mediocre. I get a full no chip set which is $40. I went on Thursday, and had horrible service. Was charged $52 for probably the worst set ive ever had and they already broke. Do not recommend

Dont waist your time trying to book an appointment when you want to come in with friends. They will schedule you and then when u come in they will put everyone in a random seat so your not even with your groop. Perhaps they are good nail techs but not the brightest bunch in the world.

I LOVE this place. Its very relaxing. Great environment. Im very picky with the shape of my nails and Hollywood Nails is the only place in the aria that will listen to me. The only thing I find annoying is that I have to tip with cash, but its not a big deal (Chase is right next door).

Go at your own risk. I’ve gotten 2 infections in the past year from pedicures. They make me bleed when doing my nails and I’ve witnessed other customers complaining about being cut as well. Pretty pricey and not very friendly. Constantly speaking their native language obviously about clients - rude. After an entire year of this, I’m done.

I actually enjoyed going to this salon but just today, I had my sister (a nail tech) remove my acrylic nails and now 45 minutes later, she still cant get them off. I have been coming here since November and they have never once put a fresh set of nails on me. They always just filed off the old acrylic and added the new. I had no idea this was bad, but apparently it is. My nails are so ripped and thin that trying to remove the acrylic at this point is literally ripping my nails off my fingers.In addition to this, every time I have had my nails done here, with the exception of the very first time, I had a nail chip in the two weeks before I went back. I have had this happen once before years ago and it was because I smashed my finger in a door. Every time I came back to get a fill, they charged me to repair the chipped nail. I dont think in these instances, that the chipped nail was a result of something I did. It was a result of poor work.This is NOT quality work underneath the surface. This salon has ruined my nails beyond what acrylic does to your nails anyway. I will never be going back here and I would never suggest this salon to anyone.The woman who did my nails was the owners sons girlfriend and she is super sweet and easy to talk to, but this lack of quality of work is a problem.

These people where so rude! Not just one but all employees. After we were told to take a seat I go to sit down and this guy goes, STOP DONT SIT THERE. My mom and I cant even sit next to each other. We said thank you but we will go somewhere else, and a lady rudely goes EXCUSE ME. I felt so uncomfortable and the vibes were horrible. Shame that such a beautiful place has such horrible staff. Used to be my favorite nail salon. I requested a specific nail tech and got a different one for my pedicure. I was rushed and had the worst pedicure I have ever had. I was not asked what type of pedicure I wanted. I was in and out im 20 minutes. I am very disappointed.

Im sorry to have give a bad rating because Ive been here 2 other times in the past 2 months and had wonderful service. Today I went there for a mani-pedi, the girl was very obviously angry at something. I had to tell her she was scraping too hard with the tool, she was very rough with pushing my feet away from her when she was done, I got the wax on my feet and all the wax pooled below my heels, she didnt make sure it went all over my feet like they usually do. At no time did she ever say hello to me, never did she smile, she made me feel as if I did something wrong. To top it all off, I gave her over 20% tip, decided maybe she was having a bad day and maybe that would help, she did not even say thank you!! She took the tip off the counter and turned around and walked away as she was talking to a co-worker. There are many many choices for mani/pedis in this area, you can be sure I will be going somewhere else next time.

I will never go back again!! Prob worst pedicure ever. You would have thought there was a fire in the building by how big of a hurry the nail tech was in. Dont waste ur money or time here!!!

I love the way they did my nails. I went in and had a no chip manicure and a pedicure done with my daughter. In their pricing it states $5 off with mani pedi combo. She charged $65 for each of us. When I asked why we did not get the $5 off, she said it was for basic manicure not no chip. I dont see the difference. A no chip costs more and you would think they would want you to spend more. Not too mention NO WHERE in their flyer does it state basic only. It states main pedi combo is $5 off so to me thatsbbad business. I will go back for polish change only, but when I want to do a mani pedi combo, I will be going elsewhere.

Horrible customer service. No only was my serviced rushed because they were closing but I was unhappy with the way the fake nails looked. They looked horrible. Press-on nails from Walgreens would have looked nicer. I called asking for the manager to call me and asked to have them fix I was told by the employee NO they dont do that! and was hung up on twice!!!!!

I had an issue with my nails after 1 week of a gel no chip French the ends turned yellow.. Discolored to say the least!!! I went back and told them, they redid them, then charged me... $$$ oh did I mention they gave me $5.00 off. Funny...Looks like I need to go across the street!!!

First time I went there for a fill and was charged $3 extra, I asked why and was told because of the color.(pink?) Their prices are higher than everyone else and they were extremely rude when I questioned their tips in cash only policy. I will spend my money elsewhere.

I got a no chip polish and a came off 2 days later and my friend who came with me did not have good service at all they did not ask her if she liked what they were doing or if she wanted them to do anything.
