They do very good work and you dont have to go to Chicago to get the real fancy nails done!

I took my girlfriend here. All she went in for was a fill. They charged her for a entire new set. The lady doing her nails was the owner of the place. You would expect better service especially from the owner herself but she kept on pulling her hand and the entire time we were there she didn’t start any kind of conversation instead she would ignore us if we tried correcting her on anything that she was doing. My girlfriend had a broken nail and instead of being nice with taking it off all she did was pull it off her finger. This is the worse nail place in which you could go to. They give you a price on the phone and then keep on raising the price up with any little thing that they end up doing to you. Doing it yourself would’ve been a whole lot better than coming here and wasting your money. To top it all off they ended up breaking after two days. Never going there again.

The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I was not happy overall with the results of my nails. My pedicure had bubbles in the nail polish. I do not understand why nail technicians try to persuade you to get a different color other than what you have in mind and ask for.. really annoying. I was also not happy with how thick the acrylic layer was and the shaping of coffin was not coffin hence the 3 stars. The place offers the option of cash, Zelle, or credit card payment. Well the CC payment has a extra $4 fee. For higher than average pricing the quality was not good.

Absolutely TERRIBLE. Took my mom here so we could get pedicures. Brought us back at the same time and the guy who did my moms toes was talking on his phone the entire time. Kept getting up to text on his phone and took many phone calls. I think he is the owner. He was wearing the same pair of gloves texting on his phone and exchanging money when getting up to check other customers out. Disgusting. They do your nails so quickly just to rush you out of there and take your money. We will NEVER go back to this place! Terrible experience.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Absolutely sad. The guy was talking on his phone the entire time and kept getting up to do god knows what. I had to wait for an extra 40 minutes because he was so behind because he kept getting up. I am very upset. My mother hasn’t gone in forever and to say this was our experience. I am appalled. Never coming back.

The BEST BEST BEST pedicure Ive ever had. Nina is her name. Ask for her. Strong and thorough massage. She gave me extra. Shes getting a huge tip from me.I wont go anywhere else for services. John does my nails. He amazing (and fast!) They are so professional and give the best customer service. Everyone I have referred to Lily nails, is now a permanent client.

I am new to the Huntley area. A server at Pincrest Golf Club recommended this salon. I did not have an appointment, but the tech in the chair closest to the entry told me to take a seat. I have been having my nails done for 40 years, and this is the unfriendliest salon I have ever been to. They acted like they were doing me a favor by giving me a service. No one spoke to me the entire time I was there other than to ask me if I was sure I didn’t want a no chip manicure. I wanted a regular manicure. The tech who reluctantly did the manicure did not use any cuticle remover, very minimal amount of hand lotion. After the first coat of polish, he actually asked me if I wanted a second coat. He just took my credit card and started to the front of the shop. I had to ask him what the charge was. The polish was chipped the next day. This whole thing was actually an uncomfortable experience. I’m not there to be entertained, but the rudeness was unbelievable!

Rarely do I write reviews but I feel in this instance it is necessary. I go to this salon regularly for pedicures and eyebrow waxing. My last pedicure the tech skipped a couple steps - i still tipped 10%. The following week I went to get my eyebrows (I tipped 20%) done and the next day had break outs all along my brow bone where the wax was (aka from dirty wax/ sticks). I decided to give them one last chance today with a simple gel manicure. I had a set on from a girl in Chicago that needed to come off and a gel manicure. The tech dug his nail under the side of my nail beds to clean out excess polish. The area is red and irritated from how far deep he dug his own, dirty, nail under mine. On top of this, there is polish left on my skin that he did not clean off. Large amount in fact. I did not tip this time. Horrible service three times in a row and I highly do NOT recommend going here regardless of how convenient the location may be.

I got my first full set of acrylics done today and I absolutely love how they turned out. The lady who worked on my nails was very thorough and paid close attention to detail. I didn’t feel as if she was rushing to get mine done but spent the extra time to make sure all of the nails were the same length and shape. She was also very easy to talk to and I was very pleased with my visit today.

I have a hard time finding decent nails places. I’m not very picky when it comes to my nails but last place I went too was really a halfass job. My thumbs were uneven, the matte wasn’t done right and you could tell on my black nails. I decided to try lily nails out and John did an AMAZING JOB! I’m sooo pleased! It was fast, perfect and I’ve never been so happy! Highly recommended!

Excellent customer service

I have given this place multiple chances but each time I end up being disappointed. I got French tip acrylic nails barely a week ago and they are popping off. They always appear to be in a rush to get you out of there and overcharge on any little thing they can. They also dont mind talk badly about other nail salons to make themselves look better which says more about their character than anything else. I will go ahead and use other nail salons in the area who care more about their clientele and doing a good job.

I have been coming to Lily Nails in Huntley for almost 5 years now. Lily and John are wonderful and their staff are amazing.

They quality of work the cleanliness and just how welcoming the entire business is was incredible I love about 45 minutes away and truly will not stop coming here highly recommend giving them a chance if you haven’t!

I went here to get my nails done and walked in and the place was BEAUTIFUL! and a wonderful place to relax the workers would talk to me and make sure it didnt hurt and make sure I liked it and they turned out very nice and pretty, definitely recommend to go there:)

Did a great job on my daughters nails... however i waited 15 min to add a simple design to my ring fingers.. when i told lady i didnt like it she impatiently removed and said no design. Without giving me any options. Left frustrated and disappointed. Extra half hour makimg us late for birthday plans.

This is my second trip here and its well worth it. The deluxe pedicure is fantastic! The chairs are magic and my tech really went the extra mile by putting the various lotions and treatments in the towel warmer to heat them up--a perfect winter pick-me-up. Its basically been an hour of non-stop pampering and massages and were not done yet! If you need to relax, this is the place to come, hands down.

Walked in, took me immediately and provided excellent fill in for my acrylic nails. Excellent polish techniques. I am very satisfied.

I went in for a full set of acrylics and a pedicure the day before my prom and there was a decent wait given the circumstances and it was TOTALLY WORTH IT. He was very nice and helpful and even stayed after their typical closing time to make sure I was satisfied. And the price was very good for the style I got.

Went there because they opened at 10am; where our Woodstock salons dont open until 11am on a Sunday.Sam did a *super* job on my pedicure and no-chip manicure. He was very careful to remove my old no-chip french manicure, as to not damage my nails. Thanks Sam! I will be back.

Do not go here!!!!!!! My daughter and I had appointments which they didn’t honor. Wanted us to wait over 40 min past the appointment. We scheduled the appointments 2 weeks prior with specific people. When we arrived the person that was supposed to do my pedicure wasn’t even there. The person who was supposed to do my daughters nails was doing someone else’s pedicure when I asked him he said he would be done and ready to do my daughter’s nails by the appointment time. Once 5 o’clock came around he proceeds to start another clients nails. I then ask him what about my daughter he says that the client prior to us was late and that we will have to wait for her nails to get done. I said absolutely not that I have my son to pick up at a certain time and that we had a specific time which is the point of scheduling an appointment. If his customer was late he could have asked her to wait for him to take care of his scheduled client. Will not be returning there nor do I recommend anyone go there

I’ve gone here a few times, and the acrylics have been strong but the polish is such an issue. My nails were ruined in less than an hour after being under the fans for 20 minutes...but called and John fixed them perfectly the next day. The atmosphere is nice and price is good but be careful!

I was there second time today and this is horrible place. Very cold there, atmosphere not good. They talking on the phone very loud you cant relax. Service terrible very fast and they just counting money in front of you.I will never go there again !!!!!

Ive gotten my nails done here a couple of times. First time we great - no issues. However, a few weeks ago I had a full gel set put on and that was perfect and I was overly critical as it was for my wedding. The pedicure on the other hand left MUCH to be desired. While removing my calluses the tech completely cut the side of my foot. She also cut my left big toe nail too short and applied some sort of glue. I now have pain in that area. No idea what she did. I told the owner about the cut and no apology was made nor did he offer me a discount on my services. Its a shame because they are so close to my home but I dont see myself going back anytime soon.

Lily does my nails every two weeks and shes wonderful! They are patient with my daughter as well, who gets silly things done to her nails, instead of traditional paint jobs.

Went there once as a kind of needed to get my nails done, since the salon I previously went to got new ownership. Never again I asked for round, and my nails look like I did them myself. I also asked for matte, and it turned out like a semi-gloss looking thing. I also made an appointment, and sat waiting in cold water for my pedicure for 35 minutes. Do not plan on going back at all.

Its sucks because I really liked this place which is why they get 2 stars instead of 1....I gave them a chance but I just cant anymore my nails always break off in a couple days or polish chips, peels or bubbles..I get gel and just got my nails done 2 days ago and already chipping! For $45 why are my nails chipping with gel? Plus they leave the glue all on your fingures and dont clean up cuticles or anything to make them look really nice at end. And the gel fill is $35 and they always change prices and charged me $40 sometimes...wdf? And if they nickel and dime you too...any nail removal or if you come in to fix a nail they will charge you! When Im speading money here every few weeks you better show regulars you appreciate them! Even tho its like $3 but wht the heck who does that? But overall They need better products cause if I had some great lasting nails I could get pasted the other crap...but instead they spend their money remodeling?..Ive had my nails done all my life Ive never had them fall off or chip until close to when they need to be redone. But thats cool remodel instead of upgrading your products to actually be a good salon instead of just looking like one..You just lost a customer because you have crappy product that doesnt last probably why your able to afford your remodel because everyone has to keep getting theyre nails fixed!!and I tip well and spend $100 on my nails every 2 weeks thats a lot of money you lost from 1 customer. And who uses no chip with gel? get colored gel powder!! Youll save ur clients!
