If you go to gel nail spa, Anthony does an incredible job! These are one of my favorite sets I’ve ever gotten.

This was my first experience and I was beyond shocked. Everything was wrapped up and everyone was separated, everyone wore masks because of covid. You could smell how clean it was when you walked in. And I saw them remove the plastic and clean and put down new plastic when Someone who got a pedicure was done. The nice gentlemen who did my nails also I saw clean and new equipment and the nice gentlemen who did my nails today did an amazing job. They actually close at 5pm instead of 7pm. But I’ll definitely be a returning, regular customer. Thank you all for an amazing experience 🥰🥰🥰

I didn’t mind that I waited a half hour to be seen after my scheduled time. The staff was cordial. However, the gel polish make my nails look too thick and the sides and very tips had no polish! It was $55 just for a cut down and acrylic fill in with gel polish!!! I’m not satisfied at all.

I have received services from this location one time prior, however this is my second time walking into this salon and the owner turning me away for services. Both times I was told that I couldn’t be taken for a manicure and pedicure. “No, not today”, we’re his words as well as shaking his head and walking away. This final time, they had customers getting services rendered, however there were no people waiting, it was 12pm and he turned me away. He didn’t even give an option for a wait time, or ask me if I’d like to schedule an appointment for future services. Being turned away as a potential paying customer is very disturbing and unprofessional. Their work may be good, but their customer service is substandard.

100% recommend this place! Very clean, no wait time, and very welcoming staff. We saw Trinity and Julie today. Both were gentle, meticulous, and did a beautiful job for us. We definitely experienced a relaxing and pleasant visit today. We will be returning soon! :)

Im visiting from out of town and had a few minutes to myself so I Googled a nail place. I was pleased with the service at Gel Nails. Steven did a great job on my toes and nails and was friendly and kind. Ill be back next time I am in town.

At first it was GREAT ! Anthony on my nails and Trinity on my feet but the last 4 times I’ve tried to go, the older man at the first manicure desk by the polish was very rude to me and always says there’s a 2hr wait and no one has time for me. There’s no way that’s been the truth EVERY TIME !

Probably the best place I have ever visited for a pedicure. Super clean, organized and quick and Julie has hands of heaven. I definitely found my spot. I will be scheduling again soon.

When I walk in the male manager was completely rude. He would not help me pick out a nail color to match my toe nail color. He alsi stated that I needed a new set of nails that would costs me 60.00. So I proceeded to sit down and he started what looked like a fill on which turned out was the case. I ended up paying 73.00 with no tip because it should have been 45.00. My nails were different lengths and way different shapes and very fragile. My nails where burning very hot when he put me under the heater. I will never forget this place and I highly recommend that you go somewhere else y to have your nails done.

I made an appointment for a gel fill and pedicure based on the great reviews. My experience did not disappoint.The place is immaculate and they even cover the chairs and pedicure bowl with plastic for every customer. Upon entering they took my temperature and are following all COVID precautions.Friendly, professional service. Broad selection of nail colors. Kelly was outstanding and detail oriented. My nails have never looked better. I have found my new favorite nail salon.

Incredibly clean and conscious of Covid-19 guidelines. So many safety guards and PPE worn by all. Mask required to enter, disposable seat covering at every other station in order to maintain social distancing guidelines, nail technicians wore masks, gloves and shields. Literally the first time I haven’t felt at complete risk While being in public during the pandemic.They have also improved the look of the salon. My nails look great too!!Thank you gel nails!!

I have been coming here for about 2 yrs. I have been pleased every time. Sony is welcoming and you quickly get noticed when you come in. The massage with the pedicure is fabulous. The shop is clean, and I have always found all the employees are good and very pleasant. They will always have me as a client. The color selection is tremendous, or you can bring your own polish.

Kelly was super friendly and did an excellent job on my nails. It wasn’t an expensive service and still she took the time to do it and do it right. I will continue to come back and highly recommend their services.

I rarely write bad reviews, however, this one must be done. I have gone to Gel Nails a total of three times and each time my experience is the same. I can promise you this time will certainly be my last. The atmosphere at this salon was not inviting at all and some of the workers were extremely rude. The atmosphere is only inviting if you are a “regular” customer or someone with an appointment. The man in the front of the salon was very rude, aloof and seemed as if he did not want to help when my grandma and I walked in and today my sister went inside and said she experienced the same thing. There was a bad energy in the store surrounding my family and I...it was as if the technicians didn’t want us there or didn’t want to serve us. While being there I noticed that most if not all of the customers who walked in were greeted warmly and spoken to which was something that has never happened to me, my sister or my grandma when we walked into the salon. My sister said that she walked into the salon and people who walked in after her were served before she was...people she knew did not have an appointment. When I went no one talked to us or served us until after waiting an hour (which they said was how long the wait would be) and I asked when we would be getting served and with an attitude the man in the front told me to go to station 6. The woman who did my nails kept stopping to check her phone and barely talked to me until it was time for me to pay. I had no issue with this salon until my sister called me and told me she too experienced this negative and bad customer service here at this salon. I would not have written this review had this only happened to me once but this has happened multiple times and i’ve tried to ignore it because the technicians are generally very good at what they do. I have no issue with the final product of my nails but the workers and the way that they treat some of their paying customers (who tip might I add) is beyond unacceptable. Not only have I felt this way, or my sister or grandma, but some of my friends have admitted to feeling this way as well about this nail salon. Please do better Gel Nails. Thank you.

Their Classic manicure was brilliant. Great massaging, helped me to totally relax and refresh myself after a long day working. The color was really nice as well, i love the blue pastel i got today. And the best part is that the nails lasted pretty long so i was impressed. The salon was clean and well organized. Great place for stresses relieve. Highly recommend

Andy and Kelly did a fantastic job on pedicures for my husband and me. I got the diamond with Andy and he got the basic with Kelly and they were both fabulous! The shop is very clean, staff is very friendly, and the products they use are very good. If you have sensitive feet, Andy has a gentle touch (not like some places I’ve been where it feels like they’re shredding your feet to bits). My toes are pretty again. Yay! We will definitely be back!

It was my first time and Rose was fantastic!! At first I wasnt happy because theyre said they couldnt do the design I wanted but then Rose came over to design my nails and I showed her what I wanted and she delivered. I think it was her first time doing marble but she did an amazing job that Im in love with!!!

I have been coming here for about 2 years now this is by far the most Professional Nail Salon I have ever seen. The staff is very friendly and courteous to which clients. I usually go to Eddie who does a wonderful job every single time. He is a perfectionist and he will make sure I am 100% satisfied with the service I received before I walked out the door. Absolute worst service I’ve ever had at a nail salon. Sony was rude and did not even file my nails after and left hardened gel polish on my skin that was already peeling off. He went so fast my nails looked terrible. They must have some good women who work there because my mom has had a great experience with Julie. I was talking about my experience in Harris teeter and had two women hear me and say Sony is terrible and even their friends have talked about it. highly recommend trying somewhere else before coming here.

As Im new to the area, I was a tad nervous. There are so many nail salon in town yet this is right next to Harris Teeter. So, one day I just went in to get a sense of the atmosphere. I was pleasantly greeted by a nice man, Sony. This place may resemble other salins but the people truly make the difference. I made an appointment with Angie and she is who I shall always go to! Ive have my nails done for over twenty five years yet Angie is by far the BEST!

Great Nail Salon. Kinda Expensive Tho. Got SNS And Deluxe Toes With Gel. My Total Was $150 Including Tip. Without Tip It Was $130 Which Is Still Kinda Expensive But I Enjoyed The Leg Massage And I Had The Technician Named rose

I had nothing but positive comments about this business until now. I have been a loyal customer since the doors opened. Last week, I went in for a fill-in but my regular lady Angie wasnt working there anymore so I was put with a new tech named Joe. Joe was courteous, pleasant and my nails looked really good when finished. Over the course of the next week, I had three nails chip where they were really thin on the ends. I called Sony to come in, he said they were really busy and tomorrow would be better but I was welcome to come and wait, so I did because my son graduation was the next day. Upon arrival, I waited patiently and was seated at Sonys table. He came over visibly agitated and started with a fury with his nail grinding tool. He accidentally slipped and burned the skin around one of my fingers so I jerked a little from pure reaction. He then was utterly rude and said, This is why I dont like to do your nails, because I go fast and you dont want me to go fast. In response, I told him he could go fast as long as he didnt burn my skin. I also added that he had only done my nails once a long time ago. He went on to say, This is why I wanted you to come tomorrow. . He never apologized for hurting me and was forceful in the way he was handling my hands. He then began to berate his employee from across the room. Even though I cant understand Vietnamese, I knew exactly what was he was doing. I really hate this happened because I love going there but I will never patronize this business again. Kelly is so funny, friendly and always called me by my name. Angie is a perfectionist and Im sorry she is gone. Sony needs to learn some customer service skills and how to manage his employees instead of demean them.

As I walked up to entrance, Robel was standing outside. He indicated that it was not busy. So, I chose manicure with clear polish and pedicure. I was finished within an hour. Robel did an excellent job and especially in the massage of hands and legs. This is my favorite place for these services.

Expensive!!!! I got a very subtle coffin shape on my nails and they charged me $5 extra dollars. All together cost me $65 for a new set of nails. Ridiculous. They look good dont get me wrong, but the set price of the nail should not be increased just because they have a slight coffin shape.

Very friendly staff. A great salon for nails and a relaxing pedacure. I have been there several times for a pedacure and receive the utmost care. The salon is very neat and clean. The biggest one thing I noticed is that there is no nail polish smell when you walk in the door. Ask for Sony or any one of his staff, guarantee you will not be disappointed with the results.

The tech, Julia was very unprofessional and rude. Where do I start? Spent 2 1/2 hours in this salon for SNS removal and replacing. I was not asked at all if I would like a beverage. Other clients were though. The tech cut my nail causing it to bleed. The french powder had glitter in it. When I brought it to her attention, she asked why didnt I like glitter. 🤷🏾‍♀️. I asked her to just remove the complete set. She left to work on another client. Another tech, Lalay had to finish the removed after soaking. I would NOT recommend this salon.

They do a great job with dipped nails! They usually last me 3-4 weeks with no issues.

They do an amazing job with pedicures manicures and acrylic nails. I havent found anyone else that does as good of a job as them. Ive never had any complaints. I really miss them in the summer months when Im at home.

So disappointing as I wanted to give a higher rating initially.The shop is advertising services they dont actually perform on the basic manicure & overcharging customers. When I brought it to the techs attention she acted completely oblivious & tried to justify it. Outside of that the shop is clean and the service is fast. Which means there is no attention to detail slightly sloppy but the work is decent depending on the tech. Luckily Rosa was ok however my cousin didnt have the same experience. She was upset & disappointed. Bottomline if your standards are mediocre you be satisfied spending $52 for a basic mani/pedi.
