We drove 21hrs from StLouis & very tired. I am a licensed esthetician & nail tech myself, that being said, i am very particular about my nails. The owner does not have prices posted & she upt my daughters pricing at the end . During the service she kept making smart remarks about me finding more then 1 thing wrong & I had only one little bump that needed buffed out. Her customer service was not very comforting. In the end after 2 hrs which was exhausting i have great nails. But should not have taken forever.

I love how its a American owned salon. People are friendly, funny and very creative.

Very unpleasant experience on my first inquiryNot going to mention the technician to protect her I don’t want to cause issues instead she need a lessonI was asking about differences on prices between them and the next door salon and she remark that I was looking cheap service very humble I told her that something with my beloved puppy that pass ! And without hesitation or any respect at my tears she responded “ what a sin you should expend all the money on yourself instead of your dog” I did not respond I respect people opinions and understand that not everyone is sensitive or have respect towards others emotions”But for someone who works at public place like that it is unacceptable “ if she didn’t care just don’t say anything and move to business “ are you like the service instead of spell that unpleasant comment!She knows who she is! I pray god to bless her!Sorry for the other technicians that are innocent On this person disgusting personality

My sister and I have been coming here for months and every experience is wonderful. We see the Jessica, Jess, and Tanisha. These girls are amazing, considerate, caring, and they put a lot of effort and time into their work. I absolutely love this place. I recommend it all the time! Very comfortable environment and they serve wine!!! Who doesnt love wine???

Had a horrible experience at this salon with Gina. Had gel manicure done and came back 3 weeks later and she drilled the gel manicure off. She said she does it all the time to save time and that way I didnt have to sit and soak it off. I was sensitive and it hurt. She applied gel polish again and my nails hurt for the next week. Then the gel polish started to pop off and my nail underneath was raw, red and hurt!!!!! I came in and showed the owner who looked surprised and Gina didnt have much to say for herself. No apology no nothing. I have been in pain trying to grow my nails out ever since while they break and crack because they are so thin. I would never recommend this salon or GINA to anyone.

Used to go here all the time. Had my nails done by pinky on my wedding day about 5 years ago and was so happy. I love that its American owned so everyone speaks English. The best part is they serve wine while you are being pampered

Let me start by saying Michele is a sweetheart! I came into the salon and made an appointment for a pedicure, but instead of just giving me to anyone, she asked if I like a strong massage or light message, and I said strong. She made my appointment with Jessica Ann and I received wonderful service! Im picky when it comes to just about everything, but I was really impressed with the amount of detail she put into cutting my cuticles, and the massage was on point, too! Thank you Tips & Toes!!

Ive been here twice, and the first time I came, I was happy with my experience. The second time I came in for the same service (a acrylic fill with gel polish), it took nearly 2 hours, and I left with all but 2 fingers cut at the cuticles. I wasnt going to write a review, but its only been about a week and a half and my gel polish is peeling and one of my nails is painfully lifted. Ive never had an experience like this anywhere in my years of having acrylics, so I thought I should write a review. Unfortunately, I wont be returning.

Michele is amazing 😍 She is a great conversationalist and genuinely loves what she does. Her work is great and the prices are affordable.

The ladies here are always pleasant and helpful. I’m really glad I found them after moving in August. I was paying $30 for a fill at home in New Hampshire and here I pay $37 for a fill and pedicure. I am always happy and impressed with the care these ladies put into every service I have received.

Gut told me walk out..not busy but workers at desk talking poorly about customer. Spanish girl I had needs an attitude adjustment. .workmanship poor. Never again!

I have been going to this nail salon for years. I have been helped by several girls but of course my favorite is Alex. Great personality and always does a good job on my nails. They all take their time and get to know you and make sure you leave with what you want. Never had an issue.

If I would give it minus stars I would let me point out that these people are very rude they talk about all their customers they seem very racist first time I went it was OK Second time I went the person that did my nails was very mad and said how they have to leave at 5:00 PM and it was 4:30 PM and she rushed thru everything real fast it came out so bad that I told the owner and the owner re did it okay thats fine then my boyfriends mother paid for me and her daughters nails and re tipped them well apparently we didnt tip them right they was very upset about how we tip them we gave each of them which was four people total two dollars apiece because thats all we could afford mine its our nails was over $160 and over witch is fine we was checking the bill to make sure everything was okay and they didnt like that they looked at us very weird they kept complaining about all the clients and some of the employees that was doing nails seemed drunk my friend in the next day to do her chrome because it looked it very bad and they said no they wont redo them because we under tip did them and because we under tipped the owner and how can we do that and how when you go to a restaurant you tip the waitress if they take their tips that seriously they should definitely put them on the bill like the waitresses do sometimes my gel a peeled off my nails and one of my nails broke the next day I called up the next day explained him that because that was all the money we had they still kept staying because how could we under tip them if you want to go and give them $50 each for their tip then I guess shell get a good job with the still talk bad about you afterwards also the place smelled very bad it smelled like urine I wouldnt recommend anybody to go there back because all they do is talk rude and there is a lot of coarse language so I wouldnt bring my child there either and I also do readings and the owner kept trying me to tell her about her decent mother when I told her that I would have to do a reading for a price and she still insisted that I still did it soShe basically got a free reading as well my friend was upset so she told them you guys cant be compared to which they slave all day long and you guys just females they didnt like that either. Whatever we said they deserve they need a reality check and they need to be at more of a professional workplace

I used to love coming to this nail salon, the treatment was awesome, the service spectacular; but after the experience I had yesterday, I wont be going back there even if they offer free service.I had called in to make an appointment for two pedicures and specifically asked to be seated together, but upon our arrival, there were no nail technicians or seats ready for us. After about 10 minutes waiting, one nail tech comes and says that she could only take one of us (my grandma was with me), I was shocked since I had asked to be seated together. After she said there were no other chairs available I told my grandma to go ahead and start before me and so she went with that lady.I had to seat and wait for another 7-10 minutes until this rude lady came up to me and loudly said - Pedicure?! After realizing she was talking to me I nodded my head and followed her.Lucy ( my nail technician ), was very impolite, nor did she not ask me how are you today or try to make any kind of small talk, but her attitude was horrible and her service WORSE.She cut my nails so short and so uneven it looks Like I did the pedicure myself. The polish is horribly done and she didnt even cut my cuticles the right way. When I saw the way she did the polish, I expressed my concerns to her and she attempted to fix it and just kept rudely asking me -is it okay now? Check check.I was so upset and disappointed that I just said okay, got up, and walked towards the front to pay. She followed me to the front to give the ticket to the lady who I think owns the salon, and she wrote something on a note pad showed it to her and they both laughed and looked at me which I found to be very unprofessional.After I paid and sat down on a chair to wait for my grandma ( her pedicure took longer than mine, even when her nail tech started about 10 minutes before Lucy started with me ), I realized I she still hadnt fix the polish on the nails. All of them had flaws, there was no polish on the boarders, they looked just horrible. When she saw me looking she asked me what is wrong now??! And I told her they look like I polished them and not a professional. She took me to the back again and again try to fix it but it just made it worse.Im not a rude person and I wasnt going to make a show so when she was done I left but said to myself I will never give my hand or feet to Lucy again.Ive gotten my nails services at tips and toes numerous times and this is the first time I have an issue.

Its just ok in my opinion. Answer are the Vietnamese have and the Americans do not. Please understand this is just my opinion you may find that you really like it.

The place isnt horrible. However, my nail tech did a horrible job. Its barely been two weeks & the gel polish has already began lifting, and not just that, Ive gotten an infection. Also, she kept reiterating to me that the price of the gel polish would cost more than regular acrylic as if I wasnt willing to pay because it cost more. DE, did my pedicure & she was BOMB. She offered me wine & did a great job on my toes. If I went back, Id ask for DE specifically.

I was considering visiting this establishment, but based on the “this is American” “these are American employees” comments etc. and... and... the owner blowing kisses and hearts at those comments - has changed my mind. The tone of the comments seem very racist and divisive. The owner seems to agree with her racist patrons. Won’t, can’t, will not support any business that doesn’t strike down bigots and racism. Ciao.

I never write a review but I feel like I have to now. This is my first and last experience with Tip and Toes. I came in for a simple fill and walked out with massacred bleeding cuticles. Even the polish job was subpar I will never step foot in this establishment ever again .

Wonderful service, excellent quality, clean and friendly. Everything you could have hoped for!

My experience in this salon was extremely disappointing. The air is thick with the smell of polish, it over whelms you into being doscile while the nail techs have inappropriate conversations about sex. I got a pedicure and Im sad that the use of liners is not with every guest, (I did not know I could ask for a liner until i was checking out) I had already put my feet in the dark blue water with chunks floating in it. When getting a massage or the callcus removed I was made to bend my leg into a U and lift it high into the air, Im not a bird my knees dont bend that way so it was very uncomfortable to sit in the pedicure chair with my leg held in the air and my knee locked and pushed on. I also didnt enjoy the extremely messy work done, my legs were so oily I had to shower when I got home and even then the water was simply repelled. Not to mention how tattered my nails had become after the cut and how rough she was pushing sticks around my nail bed, my nail beds ache with how much theyve been scraped and cut. My polish is careless and lumpy, the polish was dripping down my toes and not even close to the nail. The only thing saving this salon is Lucy, I watched her work on someone else and she was careful, kind and a god send. The rest of the girls need to take a lesson from Lucy since she is the only one following professional procedures and I would highly recommend requesting her and a liner for your pedicure.

As I walked in the door with my 2yr old hoping to get my nails painted for Valentines Day the first thing I see are glares and whispers... Checked the meteor theyre was nothing on my face. I shrugged it off and entered only to stand at the front for about 3mins before a woman got out of the seat in front of me and asked if I needed help I said Id like to get a mani pedi and she responded well, did you call ahead... I didnt realize her and her associate were so busy (one pacing around on her phone and the other seated drinking tea). I took my business elsewhere.
