I came from out of state and ran across this gym. What can I say im glad I stopped by staff was friendly equipment looked new if not new it has been kept up with and cleaned. The gym had everything I needed to get a great workout in. I highly recommend this gym to anyone coming out of state or anyone that is local get a membership here I know I would if I lived here.

This location is worn/used, and it shows. It needs a lot of love to be a good gym again. The equipment is squeaky, out of order signs on machines, lack of equipment, and everything feels filthy. Often times at night, you are unable to get in because their door lock system has malfunctioned and somebody in the gym has to come open the door for you. For $20 a month, I expect more than what WA Jacksonville is giving.

Its okay the machine are to close together. I feel like the space isnt quite big enough for all the equipment squeezed into it. The pro is you can workout anytime whether staff is there or not.

Friendliest staff around! Every time I walk in they greet me with a smile. I would choose Workout Anytime Fitness over any other commercial gym. Everybody that works out here is friendly and shares the equipment. They keep the weights, bathrooms, and the machines very clean. Highly recommend this gym.

For a commercial gym, its pretty nice. Good selection of equipment, fairly friendly staff, convenient hours and location. The only negative points are that there is no space for doing pre-workout stretches or yoga, nor mats available for those activities, and there arent doors on the entrances to the locker rooms (which i prefer for privacy purposes). Aside from that, its a pretty quality place.

Its okay place to workout. The only con is the equipment is close together.

You can work out any time, day or night, and you feel safe.

Its my gym, love going in the late night when my schedule finally clears up.

Havent been by yet to workout, but definitely will! I got a brochure for 3 free days to try before making the commitment! The folks up here are super nice as well, everyone feels like a family in this small block, and will give you some giggles along with some workout!

Over the years I have worked out in a lot of gyms, there is something about this gym that I just love. The staff is always friendly and helpful and recently a slight re-arrangement of equipment opened up the free weight area and just made it flow better. Little things like that tell me that the staff is watching the members and trying to make things better and make their workouts better, good on them and good for us. Equipment needs to be fixed!

The lady at the frount desk is very unprofessional and hot tempered.they wouldnt let me cancel my membership during the covid pandimic without alot of extra drama,money, and hassle.thier workout machines are nasty and No one goes around and cleans its basically a breeding ground for germs. My advice is find another gym.

Great place to get a pump. I go early in the mornings and hardly anyone there. I can use what machines or free weights I need to. Got the membership. Definitely will be at this gym from here out.

This is the gym I went to before I moved 5 hours away and when I went in to cancel the membership they said Id be charged 1 more time because of the 30 day cancelling policy. Which was fine because I understood so I went a few more times before I actually moved && it was never cancelled they currently owe me $120 in fees because they keep charging to my debit card that I only use for emergencies so it keeps going in the negatives and have yet to return my calls. The money will be returned it 5-7 business days and its been 3 weeks and I still have nothing. So everyone pay close attention when you cancel your membership here. The manager Patrick is absolutely NO help. & Im calling their corporate tomorrow.

The gym was good got my membership in December and signed the 12 month contract but unfortunately I had to move in May I still paid for the 12 months but continue receiving invoices after the 12 months but just recently I had a family member die which has put my family in hard times so I called the offices to discuss why I was still being charged and they told me that I had signed the contract in April which is false so I tried to talk with them and they wouldn’t help told me I had to pay 100$ Even though my contract should have expired and email there manager so I did and I still haven’t received a reply so if your decide to workout here don’t sign anything they will scam you!!

Anytime Fitness in Jacksonville, Alabama is a sorry business. Recently, I cancelled my contract with them. My cancellation date was through 11 June 2019. On 2 June, I went to get in to workout and I couldnt get in. Today (7 June), I called them about coming in to workout and the representative said I can only workout when the staff is there. I said what? I am supposed to be able to workout anytime until at least 11 June. So, they dont stand behind their advertisement of workout anytime. That is false advertisement. They do not care about their customers. They are only there for the almighty dollar. This is a horrible business. Do yourself a favor and dont use them. They will take your money and provide sorry service. This was a terrible experience.

I went there to do the free 14 day trial to see how I liked it. Well first of all the guy that was there took forever because he was new. Thats okay but why have the new guy by himself? And he didnt know anything about the 14 day trial, but said I could do the 7 day. Unfortunately if you do these trials, I was told I can only come during operating hours and also only 3 times during the 7 days and only 7 times during the 14 days after I had to go online and fill in the information myself. I wanted to go to this place because of the overnight hours and if i cant go then, then whats the point? The associate wasnt really the problem, its the company and their policy that makes no sense.

You would think for a “24-hour” gym they would be able to accommodate 24 hours a day. Well here I am outside the locked door with no one at the counter and no one answered the phone number printed on the door.

This company is all about making their money.. Way to many people and memberships versus workout equipment.. you have to go super late or super early to get your workout in.. Their not convenient in anyway.. staff doesnt enforce main rule of staying of your cell phone while working out.. I sat for 30 mins while other customer was talking on their phone while sitting on a machine.. I couldnt finish my workout due to this.. they have cameras and see this.. like I said, their just worried about their money..i would suggest going to a different gym..

Nice to see the employees taking care of the gym & it makes the members willing to help.Ok update on the gym.. machines are worn out and the last couple of managers have been notified but its up to the owner to get it done!

They charge you thing one day and then charge you something else days later. The management is rude and unprofessional.

I was in Jefferson on business and tried to get a temp membership and further tried to use their 14 day free pas as advertised on their web site but The lady working the front desk was inhospitable, unaccomadating and short tempered (probably from the roids). I’m glad that she turned me away, the gym on McClellan is far superior.

Great gym so far . I just joined two weeks ago for the new Anniston location that opens in june . I got two free months at the Jacksonville location since I payed for a whole year only $165. Loving all the clean and new equipment....

They Said you get a 2 week free trial on the website but when you get there its only 3 days and only during business hours (9-7 not 24 hours) Kinda tricky in my opinion. Wont be joining bc I dont like tricky advertising.

I rudest front desk staff ever!

Staff not helpful to new customers. They signed me up and never showed me anything. At first I thought it was because I went through bcbs to have my membership, but after talking to people I found out that you dont get a tour unless you beautiful.

Awesome facilities!! Knowledge staff that is friendly as well!! Definitely the best workout option in Jacksonville.

The management is awesome and the personal trainer Cliff is the real deal.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. The gym is clean and equipment is easy to use.

Nice spot to workout, quiet and clean. Sometimes the scanner does not work and you may find yourself stuck outside.
