Really annoyed with these apartments and not having people to answer the phone at leasing office.

I have been a resident at Pavilion at UC Apartments for five years. There have been several management teams since being there. The management team there now is exceptional. I called right before closing because I got home and water was everywhere in my apartment. The manager was so helpful. He notified maintenance quickly. Maintenance came and fixed the problem. I was so impressed with the urgency of the management team. It’s really a great place to live.

Just moved in and so far so good! Had a few minor complaints and I was handled in the best way I could think of. The staff here seems to truly care about the tenants. Quiet complex, neighbors seem friendly, and the location is perfect. Parking is fair and the dog park is a really nice touch! I think I’m going to enjoy my stay here.

Great neighborhood and very affordable for the area. Staff and management are courteous and respectful, Ive lived in a few different apartments in the Charlotte area and have dealt with really invasive property management in the past. Pavilion management is great at giving notice for necessary maintenance and never feels intrusive. The staff also adheres to a mask policy.I recently transferred my lease to a larger apartment; it an extremely painless experience and were very helpful making sure I got the apartment I needed and that my nice went smoothly.

I recently moved in about 3 months ago and so far ive enjoyed every moment. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. My neighbors are very friendly. The office staff and maintenance have been very helpful and so forth. I havent come across any major issues that I feel potential residents should be aware of. I can say that they dont mind booting your vehicle IF youre not following the guidelines. Other than that, everything has been perfect so far! I would definitely recommend this property!

After searching for apartments for me & my 1 year old child i came across this complex i met with a woman by the name of “ Lynn “ as soon as i stepped foot Inside of the Leasing office i felt welcomed! i then went on to view the unit and it was perfect very spacious with a nice size pool very clean neighborhood i then decided this was the perfect location! I applied right away and was Approved really excited about moving in everyone seems so nice! Would highly recommend this place! It’s in a great area as well.

I’ve been living here since august. So far the experience has been great. They neighborhood is quiet. The staff is amazing. Also they are very fast when it comes to maintenance issues. The complex is very clean. They also have great amenities.

Overall, I am highly dissatisfied with the management at Pavilion. They scheduled the roads to be repaved, which I was fine with; they needed repaving. However, they sent out a letter stating there were three days in which the paving would occur. I went into the office on a Monday to get clarification as to which day I needed to move my car. The letter said that building 10347 will have its road paved on Tuesday. Wheatside Dr was Wednesday. My address is 10347 Wheatside Dr. While going into the office on a Monday, I spoke with a leasing consultant Alicia. I brought in the paper that I had a question on so I can move my car the night before at the right time. I told her my unit and apartment number. She said my day was Tuesday. I asked her to make sure, and she assured me that it was Tuesday. In the letters below, I never got an email with the map.There was a rain delay and the paving was going to be Thursday and Friday now with my day being Thursday. I moved my car Monday and Wednesday night from my normal spot, so they can pave the road.Friday morning I wake up with a boot on my car. I go to the office and confront Alicia about it, but she flipped the script on me because her manager was there. She gave me the classic “There is nothing we can do.” I said sure there is, take the boot off my car, which they did not.On Friday morning there were about twenty cars booted, and I talked to several neighbors about what happened. They all had similar stories to mine. I just about lost it when one of the cars booted was a mother who was taking her infant to the doctor. At that point, I knew that I had to do something about this.I contacted several lawyers for a class action lawsuit because Pavilion targeted many of my neighbors. The lawyers agreed that I was right, and they would have won that case, but recommended that I don’t sue as the money would have gone straight to legal fees and nothing for the victims.Ultimately, Pavilion gave me attitude when I came for help and they said there is nothing they can do. Well there is something I can do. And that something is to make sure that anyone considering these apartments reads this review, so that they lease somewhere else. To prospective tenants, good luck in your search, but I would refrain from leasing here.If any prospective tenant has any questions for me, I’d be happy to answer them for you.

The neighborhood is pretty quiet for the most part. maintenance is good. Just takes a little longer in some cases to complete work orders but they are super nice. The property is clean and landscaping is well maintained.

I came to visit my daughter on Saturday February the 13th. The visitors parking spot was full and not with visitors cars. This company put a boot on my tire and now I have to pay 140 dollars for them to remove it. I drove 3 hours to see her for the day and now I have to stay until I can get the money to pay this incredibly unfair fee. I know my complaining wont probably change things but hopefully future tenants can avoid this place.

Lived here for a year, office staff was extremely friendly and always informative about things going on. Work orders were always done in a timely manner, and the maintenance workers were nice as well, some of them went out of their way just to wish you a good day and give a smile, which I greatly appreciate. It may not look as fancy as other apartments in the area but it was a very pleasant stay for me.

My roommate and I moved in Saturday. It was my first apartment ever, and the entire process was surprisingly painless! Nick was super helpful and answered all of our questions, and while the apartment was a bit damaged when we moved in, maintenance came right away to fix it. I’m super excited to be here!

Lived here for a few months! Not a bad place the only thing that was a downfall for me was the booting of my car but once you get your sticker and follow the guidelines all is well. Office workers are nice and timely with things as well as maintenance!

The community is nice so far but their definition of renovated and the model home do not represent an actual apartment. There are many cosmetic problems that we encountered upon move in that were not represented in the model apartment. I’m just updating, we moved in on 8/28 and it is 9/8, and the cops have been called twice for domestic arguments. I am a student and have been listening to screaming for 2+ hours while in class.

The experience here has been absolutely extraordinary!! My mother and disabled brother love living here for various reasons: 1. The staff is amazing! Very genuine, loving, and professional!! 2. When we express a need, the ensure that things are done immediately and then will call me to ensure things were taking care of properly (that is quality service, making us feel as if we matter), 3. They do their due diligence to ensure the property cosmetics are well taken care of (I don’t have to doubt my choice to live there), 4. They do there best to create a family feel within a community (meaning they are always putting on special events to bring families together, which is a beautiful thing in a world that is filled with so much hate), 5. They make my mother feel so welcomed each times she goes into the office, she talks my head off about how nice they treat her and that warms my heart. 6. THEY ARE ALL JUST AWESOME!! ( I know I said that earlier, but it’s the truth so I thought I would reiterate it 😀. Now if I had a “complaint/issue” (for lack of better words) I would say I don’t like that I just signed a lease for $1085 for a two bedroom and see online it’s going for $1025 😢....I would love to be able to have that special...the extra money could help provide groceries for my mother who is on a fixed income. I wish there was a 90 days price match guarantee that way I could qualify for the price drop 🥰. Overall, there has been satisfaction guarantee for my family and we are happy to be apart of the Pavillion at UC family 💕!!!

Moved in in August. The apartments are clean, mostly updated, and have a few perks. however I think they should invest in security cameras outside in the parking lot, its just the nature of the area but something was stolen from me and I had no way to find out who did it.

Worst property management team ever. They never pick up the phone and never return calls also someones car is always getting broken into or BOOTED!!

I was suppose to been living here last summer. I was getting a one bedroom and at the time is was $800 with water included. Right in my price range. I was suppose to been getting a renovated apartment with new carpet, appliances, and etc. I paid the deposit, fees, and admin fee.They allowed me to look at the place before I was suppose to sign my lease. I HATED THE PLACE! First off it was supppperrrr small. I definitely underestimated what 600sq ft was. The appliances were new and the stickers where still on them but the cabinets had just been painted a brown dark and didnt look that good. Bathroom and kitchen were literally enough space to turn around in. I couldnt fit my queen size bed and dresser in the room and the closet was enough to hold my shoes.Of course, I went with something else. But on the bright side the staff was warm and welcoming and didnt hassle me when I told them I didnt want it anymore.

Do not rent here or have visitors they employed the most money hungry scamming towing company in charlotte. Pay attention to the “sign” in the entrance because there’s no more signs in the entire apartment complex saying private property. They don’t even inform their tenants then when we called the rental office with our concerns they informed us that up to 6 other cars were also booted with $175 cash upfront or card or they will tow your vehicle in 30 min from the time your aware. The apartment complex is more like a business it’s not a community or family they treat you like collateral with no respect or sympathy. I wouldn’t move my cat here let alone a human. Do better people making a living by harassing your tenants is pathetic. I’m filing an legal action!!!

Clean apartment, great location, super nice staff!

Weve lived here for almost ten years and it has been a nice, quiet place for our family during that time. The apartment is a little dated (expected after ten years of occupancy), but the office staff is always pleasant, helpful and professional, and the maintenance staff is absolutely EXCELLENT. Since weve been here, repairs have been made almost immediately after a request has been put in. We have never had any issues with roaches or other pests in our unit. There was an issue with bird poop on the stairs but it has since been cleaned, so all is well. Its a quiet, affordable choice for people with families - we are very happy here.

I have lived here for almost 16 years and it has been a very nice, quiet place for my family and I. The office staff is amazing, helpful and professional, and the maintenance staff is absolutely EXCELLENT. Since I have been here any repairs i have requested have been completed almost immediately. I have never had any issues in our unit at all. Its a quiet, affordable choice for people with families. I am are very happy here and will continue to live here until i buy a home lol.

I like my new apartment...

Great complex with incredible staff. They are always there to help with everything. Maintenance is fast and responsive, especially in emergency situations, and office staff is super friendly.The only somewhat downside to is placement of the complex, due to it being next to the PNC Pavilion. While this is great for access to the music hall by walking, when the busy season kicks in, it is difficult on certain days to get in/out of the complex due to the high traffic build up.

I have lived here for 2 years and all I can say is that this is the best place in Charlotte to live. Ive never had problems with this community! All the staff here is great! Megan, Robbie, and Joe are very understanding, fun, and professional. The maintenance team are caring people too! Ive never went longer than the next day for a work order. This property is always clean, doing spectacular things for their residents, and keeping us up to date with the latest mortification in our units! Great job team! I wouldnt have it any better than to have an awesome, fun, loving, caring, hard working, always on the job, team like you! Thank you!!!!!

Dont come here. Even the renovated apartment has bathroom and window leakage. The paint in bathroom started to wear off with in few months after moving here. The new staff is not at all friendly

I havent been here long buts a decent place its quite seems like a lot a good place to live for families and raise kids the only problems is the people that shoot fireworks crazy hours of the night and the people that been breaking into people cars i heard and not all neighbors are good neighbors

I have lived here for 7 months and I dont have any complaints. The elementary school is right across the street from these apartments. The rooms are big and spacious. The maintenance team keeps everything clean and in working conditions. Exit to 485 is really close and many useful businesses. The area is very calm and so are the neighbors. The office staff is AMAZING. They are very efficient and understanding. Especially Robbie. Robbie is very helpful, cheerful, happy, efficient just a joy to talk to and reach out to for any situation. This is DEFINITELY worth every penny to live in.

Live somewhere else! It is worth it to pay a little bit more money to not have your car broken into. Havent been here that long and two people I know have had their cars robbed. Water has come through my ceiling three times from the apartment above me, and there are always bugs in this apartment. Live somewhere else...

Have only recently moved in but I can say without a doubt this has already been my best apartment experience. The maintenance team has gone above and beyond to fix a few minor imperfections in my unit. The response rate of the front office is unmatched and everyone I have spoken to in person has brought a smile to my face with how friendly they are. Neighborhood is quiet and the garage option is the best thing every. Units are spacious and beautiful! Very excited to spend the rest of my lease here.

Great place to live and great community

I absolutely wish my family never moved here. The upgraded apartments are NOT worth $975. The office staff never answers their phone and never do what they are supposed to do. I would never recommend anyone to move here. The staff that was here when i moved in at the beginning of the year were fabulous, never had a problem with them but the ones in the office now are truly uncaring for the tenants here and unprofessional.

The properties are well maintained when it comes to keeping the outside manicured. Staff and management are always friendly, and resolve our issues.

Pavilion at UC gives their all to their residents. The staff are the best! They are very helpful and resourceful. The community itself is great, very quiet and peaceful. The location is very convinient as well.

Pavilion at UC is a great great place to live. I have lived here for over eight years myself and my family have been thoroughly satisfied. The Maintenance team is on point!! The Management team is the icing on the cake!! I really DO not want to leave this place. It has been really hard to leave. You just have to come and see for yourself. The biggest plus in my experience is every time I submit a service request, they answer immediately.

Although the units are nice, its quite obvious the front office has no true concern about their tenants . They allow loud parties and once you make a complaint about noise or another tenant, nothing is done . The 1 bedroom is almost $800... definitely not worth it .The area is also very sketchy, and there are no cameras around .

This apartment complex is really nice

Pavillion at UC is a terrible place to waste your money. On top of everything being broken the office staff is unprofessional. The office is never open even during the advertised hours making it difficult for people that work to get what they need. Air conditioning goes out every other week and when you call emergency maintenance you get no response. This place is just filthy and frustrating.

These apartments are starting to go under some much needed upgrades, if you happen to go to one of the non-upgraded apartments, make sure you tell them exactly whats wrong with the apartment beforehand.
