I have no complaints from the beginning to the end everything went smoothly. The ladies in the office was very helpful, explained everything to me and Jennifer Didn’t miss a beat as far as communication Is Concerned. She Responded To All My Emails Up until I moved in August 04, 2021. My Apartment Is Absolutely Beautiful I Mean I Am So Excited That I Picked This Community And They Chose Me To Be A Resident Here. Thank You To The Ladies In The Office Very Professional!!!
I’ve actually been gone from these apartments for two years yet they still lurk in my life. We started with a one bedroom and then got a roommate so needed a two bedroom. The two bedroom ending up having a flea infestation that was supposedly exterminated but from my learning the hard way that I am allergic to fleas found out that the exterminators did not fully complete the process so I broke out. We decided to just move to their sister property and be finished with them. About a year later we all noticed a collection from the property but we had already had communication with Grayson and our lawyer that it would just be taken from our security deposit. The best thing I could do for the collection was to get it closed and paid off since they said legally they cannot removed it. Now, here we are trying to move to a new complex and there sneaky fees are haunting us. Please be aware of there sneaky fees and money hunger and lack of accountability!
I haven’t moved here but i really like to, so far I’ve applied and got as email back about something and i have tried to contact someone about my application but nobody has responded. Makes me feel like i shouldn’t try to move here after all. I hope they get better with responding.
Things have been rough and we feel like no one is listening to us. It’s been a struggle but we are making the best of it. Hoping that things get better

Great experience with the maintenance request. I submitted a request on Sunday night (28 Feb 21) to repair the latch on the sliding glass door & to replace a few of the vertical blinds that had broken tabs. Both items were repaired by lunch time on Monday afternoon (1 Mar 21). Now that was a fast solution to make me feel safer while residing at the Grayson.
The lady who answered and assisted me was very helpful but unfortunately the price and availability changed after I applied.
2 weeks in so far and I have no complaints yet. Nice property and good community.
The apt advertised as 896 sq feet. That has to be without the walls because the bedroom is small and the living room is as well. And the day before I was to move in I was switched from a 2nd floor apt to a 3rd. I wouldnt have gotten the apt on the 3rd floor. And there are no microwaves in the apt.
My maintenance request are always completed in a timely manner . I really appreciate the professionalism and urgency the leasing office always shows!
I’ve been tryin to move here however i have been getting mixed feelings everytime i call i never get an answer or call back i already applied at one point and never heard anything back after i paid and everything it’s in the area near my job but i’m not to sure if i wanna move here now based off the way things are already being handled

If I could give the malicious ignorance of The Grayson Apartments staff an infinite negative rating I would. By anyones standards the process I experienced with them was purposely disingenuous and fraudulent. The process was anything but seamless with unreturned phone calls. Requests for information clarification resulted in misinformation with the use of time-wasting words and numbers tricks. At a time when simple yes- no, either- or information was needed, these folks took precious time from both there work requirements and my very time-sensitive life situation to play juvenile games.If the owner of this establishment is an upstanding business minded professional, they may want to consider cleaning house for a staff that at the least is able to make good use of situations to further the business of the company . Unless it’s customary for a staff to blatantly use company time to meet their own unfulfilled self esteem needs with tawdry wannabe antics. Just saying...My name is Avis Washington

They do not care about their residents. I had family in Florida that was affected by the storm and we had to help them evacuate. I asked for an extension until Friday 09/13 to pay a 300 difference on my rent. They refused and said they would file eviction papers on the 11th. I had the money in my savings but due to the storms who wants to deplete their savings in case of emergency. I paid them but I will not be renewing my lease!!! That was very heartless for 2 days...… I am totally aware of the move out process because I actually renewed my lease with you people once already.. the sarcastic comment left confirms that you dont care just like the person I spoke with at the office regarding the situation. But since you mentioned anything else how about the sink that has been leaking since I moved in and they have came out over 10 times to fix it and it still leaks if I use the garbage disposal...
W just moved to these apartments in march and We love them. Its quiet at night, and the parking is not bad. Once I get off work Its not hard for us to find a parking spot. So far everything is going great. The only complaint that we have is when working out people just sit in there lounging around and the gym door is broke so anyone that does not stay in the complex can go in there at anytime. I just want them to fix the gym door but other then that everything is Great : )
DO NOT APPLY TO LIVE HERE! The management will treat you nice until you sign your lease. Then the management will mislead and lie to you. The management is not consistent with their decision pertaining to the lease agreement and will try to get every bit of money out of you possible. They will lie to get their way and make you pay. This is also a dangerous community, in the evenings multiple gunshots will be in close proximity at least 3 times a week. Consider yourself warned.If you need any further explanation or feedback feel free to google message me.The only positive is the maintenance team. Those guys are reasonable and friendly.
I have been at this complex going on three years now, every year has been an awesome experience. Every employee in the front office is awesome, from the front of the office to the back. They are always willing help even after hours, my stay has been great. I love all of the women who work in the office, always have a smile on their faces and willing to help. Looking forward to renewing my lease in June. I wouldnt want to stay anywhere else.

I have lived in East Charlotte, South Park and now University. I love Landmark at Mallard Creek. The staff is helpful and seem to really care compared to other places I have lived. The parking lot and community is kept up. My neighbors are really nice and I have met a lot of them in the year and a half that I have lived here. Its pretty quiet for the most part. I like the fact that we are sort of tucked away yet we are centrally located in Charlotte. A great place to live!! Especially for apartment living!!
Do not rent here. Police is out here at least 3 times a week. Gunshots fired every other week. They charge for valet trash but you have to keep the trash on the inside of the apartment. When asked to remove the fee they won’t. They charge for pool access. However, the pool has been closed about two weeks now for some unknown reason.
I currently live at The Grayson until the end of February 2016. My time at the Grayson was a beautiful and great experience I never had a problem with anybody, all the neighbors was great, I never hear any problems about break-ins I can count on one hand the number of times I seen the cops out here in the past year. The Maintenance team does stay busy out here as far as grounds keeping so if you want to get something fix it does take a day or two but they get it done. And as far as the ladies up front I never had a problem with them since day one, I think they do a great job and they make your experience at The Grayson amazing, if you need something done they do a great job with the maintenance team to get it done, and If you need any the ladies up front are always there for you.
I applied for an apartment at The Grayson Apartment Homes back in December 2016. I turned all documents in (invoices) as I am self-employed. I paid my holding fee $150, (application fees $100 - $50 per applicant). I applied a $50 app fee for an occupant which was applied to the wrong apartment, and was told that it will not be applied to the actual apartment I will be paying rent for. Sent Renters Insurance information, set up electric transfer, after confirming move-in date, and providing and confirming an apartment address & number.Today, 1/17/2017, I receive an email stating that my apartment number has changed due to some inconsistencies with current/previous tenants (whatever that means) but the apartment will not be ready.Then, I go over the information listed in the email, they need three more pay-stubs, I explained that I sent (faxed) all invoices for all pay-periods, on 1/3/2017; then the Assistance Manager states that I dont qualify....I need to make $1000 more (which is 3x the rent). Now, when you calculate the income it is maybe $300 - $500 shy of 3x the rent.I am baffled at the fact that it took this apartment property almost a month (10 days before my move-in date) (two weeks after my holding fee $150 is taken) to tell me that I dont qualify. This frustration is warranted due to the lack of proper review and handling of information received and approved. I asked to speak with a Manager, no one came to the phone, and nothing was resolved, Assistance Manager seem confused, and contradicted her statements.
My fiancee and I stayed there for several years and we truly enjoyed our experience. The staff was nice, and safety was never an issue. Some of the other residents came and left, some were great and some were awful. But all of them were generally respectful and never caused any issue. If you stay there it is really what you make it, if you pay on time and dont have drama than you will have no issues.
Did a 6 month lease from this place and regretted every day of it. First, the carpets were horrible. They were worn down, fraying, and just down right dirty. Blinds and electric outlets were broken or didnt work. Think this should be documented when you move in? No, because they have a policy of not having damages documented at move in.Also, if your neighbors get bed bugs, be prepared to pay $1200+ to have them clear your apartment of them too. The walls are just super thin the bugs and sound come right through.Its been 1 year since we moved out, and only because I checked my credit report did I find out that we owed them money. Calling the complex, it was for the things that were wrong when we moved in!The rent maybe cheap, but you pay for what you get. A run-down, complex that goes through management every few months.
Not only was I charged for a stain that was left the day I moved out by the movers but I was charged $211 for a small stain on carpet that was old when I moved in, I didn’t have air conditioning for 3 months, I got locked into my apartment! I never once paid rent late I was either on time or ahead and always more than was due and this is how I was treated not to mention the property manager there was beyond racist during my walk through and we had words three times and she treatened to put charges on my remaining balance and I see she did! WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT LIVE HERE IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!Update: July 2018 I just called the creditor and they told me the office told them I left trash and water??? I’m confused because there was not a piece of trash left I have pictures and video to prove it! I knew the argument between me and that woman would result to her lying on me! This is slander! I did not and would not leave trash in a place I am moving out of! So which is it did I leave trash or did I make a stain on the carpet? Or did I flood the apartment because I’m confused as to what you mean by water? I have receipts for all bills being paid and verbal confirmation from a worker there that I had no balance back in June 2017 to my current apartment! It should be against the law to falsely accuse someone of doing something they didn’t and putting it on their credit! Sounds like fraud to me!
I have lived here for just over a year and absolutely LOVE it!!! The staff is great, friendly and very welcoming. The maintenance staff is awesome! The ladies in the office are also great and very helpful! I would recommend this community!
I stayed there for about 2 and a half years. I would recommend to anyone that if you stay here, just make sure you pay your bills on time and you wont have any problems. I know some of the other residents that were near me had issues with the staff because they often were weeks late on their rent. My apartment was great, the only reason I move out was because I bought a house.
This place is getting worse everyday. The layout of the apartments are bad. One bedrooms apts next to 3 bedroom apartments = a lot of noise if you are in a one bedroom. The parking for my building is very limited they gave us tags for our cars to park in reserved spots but if you arent enforcing the parking it means nothing. People who dont have tags still park freely in the reserved spots. Before you leave for the day Angela drive by and check it out, it happens everyday around 4-5pm. The pool is big which means there is a lot of (non-resident) traffic coming in and out because this management company enforces nothing except the mandatory rip-off trash pickup. The apartments are made of wood...OLD WOOD. which means you will hear everything your neighbors do. The grass around the complex looks bad. They rarely clean up the breezeways. and they want $1000+ rent for these places. Now kids are hanging out in the breezeways and stairs now... You can move to hidden valley and get a better price than this place.
Danessa and the girls are just a pleasure. I can honestly say that they go out of their way to make sure that your needs are met. Our maintenance men are always on point to get things fixed in a timely matter, Juan makes sure things are done right the first time (not like all the other places weve lived at). Over all the living experience here is priceless!!!!
On the positive side of things, maintenance is great. Theyre friendly, and get repairs done quickly.However, Im bitter enough about the negative aspects of this place that it still only gets one star. To begin with, the apartment manager is rude and condescending, making attempting to talk to her an incredibly frustrating experience. Second, when my husband and I attempted to have our lease renewed for six months, we were told that they couldnt have any additional leases ending on the month we wanted to leave, and wed have to renew it for either five or seven months instead. Of course, choosing to renew it for five months would have resulted in a pretty substantial increase in our rent each month, and so we wound up choosing to renew it for seven, resulting in us giving them a months worth of rent more than we had intended to give this awful place. That cant possibly be legal, and even if it is, its certainly less than ethical.Oh, and although this is fairly minor, it was pretty startling when it happened: For some reason, they decided to send an email out to everyone living here titled Late Rent, informing us that evictions would begin soon. This just about gave me a small heart attack, as I hurried to make sure that I had, indeed paid my rent on time (I had). It was only later that they sent an email informing residents that the previous email had been sent to all residents, and did not apply to everyone, information youd think theyd have bothered to include to begin with.Furthermore, while not the fault of the management, the mail service here is pretty awful. On more than one occasion, Ive failed to receive important mail on time, including paychecks and documents related to taxes, only to find out that theyd been later returned to the sender, for some unknown reason, as I was able to double-check and confirm that the address was correct. Plus, in some cases the address label was created by a computer, so it cant even be attributed to bad handwriting making the address hard to read.Anyway, in short, this is a business that clearly prioritizes squeezing as much money as they can out of residents over the satisfaction of those living here. Although I realize that, of course, businesses exist to make money, they could at least pretend to care.
The staff is great and friendly. If you have a problem they be on top of things right away. I have been living here since April of 2108 and i haven’t had any problems with this neighborhood.

I thing sharell should become the supervisor over the apartments!!! She is great at her job. Both ladies are very respectful and very professional. They are the best!! Keep up the great work ladies!!! Vote sharell to become supervisor!!!!!!! The maintenance crew are very respectful and they get the job done. They also are very pleasant. They will speak to you every morning and also tell yo to have a great day!!!!! I do not know the oldest guy name but he is just wonderful!!!!!

I moved in the earlier part of May. The very next day that I moved in, I came home from work and someone broke into my apartment and stole items. I am not sure what happened, but I was asked did I leave doors unlocked etc. No THEY CAME IN THROUGH THE WINDOW. The office manager at that time NEVER called to check on me to apologize about the incident in fact I had to call her only to discuss getting out of my lease. She stated I am sorry it happened to you but it could happen anywhere. YES IT CAN but I do not care about anywhere, because it happened here and I care about HERE. Not only that, I learned she had a break in at this very same place. I was able to leave the property with no issues. The property manager wasnt rude or mean but I felt there could have been more empathy and maybe check on the resident. Also a newsletter or an annoucement of breakins would be helpful to alarm everyone to watch out. The one young lady, her name I will leave unknown but she is a younger black female, she was so sweet and acted in a very professional manner with much empathy. While management was professional in a sense, I felt there could have been more done about the situation to make me feel more comfortable. Initially moving in, my toilet was leaking at every flush, I had worms coming out of my carpet and little black spiders in corners. I was over it altogether....I will not tell anyone NOT to move here, the place honestly seemed ok.....just be careful. This was the worst experience. Letting me know that it could happen anywhere did not make me feel safe and I felt I had to watch over my shoulder for the few weeks I was there and no one should have to live like that. I did not know if someone was watching me or what. Im not sure. All I know is someone broke in and violated my space and this community did not make me feel any better.
Latise or whatever her name is ruined this property she should not be allowed to work with the general public shes a monster her attitude is horrible when she first came even her staff didnt lie her she soon found that out and had all the wonderful staff transferred to different properties and thats where the problems snowballed. My apartment had major mold which made my 10 month old daughter at the time sick and Dr. Latise being with her MD told me it wasnt mold it was mildew but it was definitely mold cause my daughter had allergic reactions and had to be taken to the doctor several times. Any who she was very short and nasty with me and my husband, I cant say how horrible he and her new minions of a staff was maintenance was absolutely terrible after she transferred Juan he was the best and actually fixed stuff that oth we r dude after him just put bandaids on that crap. The crim rate started to shoot up by the time we left but she wont tell the community about what was going on like the lady who was robbed and beaten at her front door or the cars that were broken into or the young guys that sat at the play ground dealing drugs oh wait that wasnt her problem.... parking was absolutely terrible she just a horrible fit for what use to be a very nice property when Johanna and Danesa was there now they had a lot of community involvement! Latise should stick to writing g her Internet books so she wont have to Interact with the public.Just because the name changed dont mean nothing management is still trash! Latise is a terrible manager she needs people skills classes and needs to check her funky attitude. They held my mail for weeks after I moved a very important package that I called several times for and they wouldnt give it to me once I finally did get it it had grease stains all over it. It was my college Degree and Im so glad that it was packed with a inside plastic protection otherwise it would have been ruined by those baboons In the office.
Maintenance or should I put it as management puts it her staff apparently plays two rolls, and does them much better than those in the office. Repairs and customer service. Hats off to them! They should work in the office! I warn ANYONE considering taking up new residency here what looms good on the outside is NOT so on the inside. I have been here 3 years and ever since this last flock of hens flew in there has been nothing but discontent. We used to have community involvement with newsletters that came out keeping us informed of what was going on in the community when Latish came along that stopped. I arranged a meeting with Latish and our community officer which he shared he would come out if they could get the community involved. Well when we met and asked she said no one would come out. I brought the newsletters up again and emailing or other suggestions. She was not open to that except I could do them myself and go to the buildings myself and see if people in the individual buildings wanted to do their own watch. Okay.... And...the officer recommended nextdoor, which by the way if you dont have email addresses you cant invite anyone and she wanted make sure nothing negative was put there. No i want EVERYONE to see your condensending attitude and poor management skills! Residents in sure from talking with quite a few of you you will agree you avoid going to the office at all cost. Latise is VERY condescending and shes started coming out of that office but she she didnt at first. Now she has her staff write everything down with me. She has NO customer service skills. Her is definitely more tolerable. I blacked out and hit several cars in the parking lot a few months back. Guess who came to see if I was ok? Her multi tasking staff, the maintenance men! Sure hope their getting a bonus! Because she has yet to pick up the phone. Oh! And speaking of picking up the phone....hmmm lets see, where should I begin...she hasnt bothered to ever send out an email about why SHE herself moved out of the complex was because of the safety of herself. The crime rate is on the rise newsletter would have been great! But I want aware of this until she told me of this one day in the office she moved because her apt had been broken in to. And Vanessa....bless her sweet heart, she made Vanessa miserable. In sure she is much happier at the other property. Back to my point....I discovered yesterday 11/11/15 that there was a breaking attempt at my apt. Get this...I went to the office. At clock was on the door that the staff was out until 3:00. Well of course I was in panic mode! But who was there with their superman capes on? How does Latise put it? My staff. Ok. You would think that after that management might show some sort of conern. THink again. So I knew they needed the report thanked them sarcastically for caring enough for their concern about the report in attached work order and sent it to the office. Well guess what? That wasnt the end of the story. Ms. Latise called me at 8:42 this morning ha, Ms. Kennedy, I am calling about the incident report you were supposed to get from the police yesterday...that is how my first conversation of the day started out. Not how are you doing? I also asked in my requisition for the door to be RELACED not the knob be fixed. How can you tell if someone else has done more damage unless it is changed? No brainier! I cannot have any dialog with her. She is always looking for an argument. When Ive made apps. To meet with her in the past she has canceled and not bothered to reschedule. When I called regional and complained about her nasty attitude...Im fed up, I dont want to talk theres nothing else to be said. Let this review speak for itself. And by the way, since YOU want pass anything out about the breaking i think I will take you up on your offer and let my community know about whats happening in the area. Thanks Latise!
