I’ve been holding off on writing a review because I wanted to give living here a fair chance. Unfortunately, the way I felt about his place when I moved in is how I still feel after living here for a few months. I will say, there are a few pros to autumn park... but the cons definitely out weigh them. I’ll start with the pros....Pros:Everyone in the neighborhood is super friendly and keeps to them self. I have had no issues with neighbors or ever felt unsafe.They do a great job at landscaping and everything around the neighborhood looks great.Everyone in the office is super friendly and I have no issue with them what so ever. I don’t blame them at all for the negative experiences I’ve had living here!On to the Cons....Our apartment has a huge roach problem. My boyfriend and I keep everything SPOTLESS. We’ve set out traps, had the apartment sprayed, keep drains closed, no food left out, vacuum everyday... you name it. We see a roach or two at-least every week. They have an exterminator... but it didn’t seem to do much. It’s exhausting trying to fight these critters and I am TERRIFIED of them so that doesn’t help.We knew these apartments were old, so this was kind of excepted... but everything from appliances to carpet feels so musty and gross. They are “updated” apartments but it sure doesn’t feel like it. I had to fix a bunch of our cabinets when we moved in. Our main bathroom was DISGUSTING. The tub had not been cleaned at all. Between this and the bugs, I just feel so gross and on edge all the time.The pools here are alwayssss trashed. Sadly, this is a resident problem and not really the apartments. But I wish they more strict on people for trashing the pool. I rarely go there anymore cause it’s just a mess. Diapers on the ground, plates and cups in the pool, boxers were in the pool, pizza boxes laying everywhere. It’s really sad that people treat their pool like this!!!I wish I liked this place more because the peopleAnd location are great. I just feel so on edge and have so much anxiety about how gross everything is and the bugs that we will not be renewing next year. That is my honest review!
If I could give this place a star lower than 1 I would. This apartment complex does not clean their pool, or even allow the residents to use both of the pools even though they market the complex as having “two great pools”. The back area smells of feces all the time because while pets allowed and some people pick up after their pets, management does not change the trash bags and the bags of waste are overflowing onto the grass. This is the worst place to live.
The staff is rude and not responsive correctly .I have created a request for the service which my restroom water was leaking . it’s been a month they never take a look . Whenever you call them, it’s always says we are busy and not responding back .My car got towed twice . First time I paid and bring it back then I went to leasing office they given me parking tag to stick to the car . Again it got towed with parking tag which is visible on my car mirror. When I go back and ask them what they says it’s not our residence tag( The Parking Tag which I got in booklet from the staff ) . When I ask them they are not sure about their staff and Who given that tag .Gates are not even properly fixed since long back it’s been more than 3 months. But they are towing cars 😂. When I ask them they are saying we are not matching the parking requirements. They need a call or message and mail to listen what we are saying. They don’t want to listen anything in person . They are really kinda very rude .The apartment is with full of roaches complain many times but they never respond correctly .Bcz of thunderstorms we lost lights on the community streets and on stair cases we complain but never fixed.Neighborhood is very good . I don’t complain anything about neighborhood.
Only reason community gets 3 stars is for it being quiet, and super nice office staff. Autumn Park is a good place to live if those are your top concerns. The people in the office are VERY hospitable and ensured my move in process was very smooth. I will say there are somethings that the management company should do to make more residents happy like putting an additional key phob at the back entrance that says for “emergency vehicles only” but a firetruck nor an ambulance was able to get in shortly after moving in… So it’s pointless. They also spend a ton of money on fixing it when someone breaks it open again. As well as putting more trash cans around the community, go back to not charging per light bulb that maintenance should be replacing, maybe a pressure wash on the outside of every building to look less dingy and actually upkeep the amenities like fixing the AC in the gym, or ensuring the car wash actually works, and the vacuum cleaner actually works too.
I love Autumn Park! This is my first apartment, and the community is awesome. Maintenance fixes everything promptly, grounds are well kept, and management is responsive and helpful. They do a great job of keeping the community clean and the amenities are nice. Great value for the price.
Called to maintenance and they forwarded the call to Property Manager Kacy regarding water is logging in bath Tub and its not draining by its own. The Pathetic answer which I got from them You have to drain it by your own either with Towel or Wiper. Every problem has a solution but unfortunately this is how they respond to the Queries. Sharing my experience so people aware which disappointed me to write about this incident.
Just moved in last week and haven’t had the best experience. The staff hasn’t returned one phone call/email/text. We ordered AT&T internet through the online portal where we signed our lease since it was the recommend service. The box was dropped off in our kitchen and for 4 days we tried to get ahold of the staff at Autumn park because the router would not work. Literally all we needed to know was if our apartment supported AT&T so we could cancel the service. Never received a call and finally just cancelled and signed up with Spectrum. It’s now been a week we have been moved in and we still don’t have wifi. Also the dumpster behind our unit is overflowed ans their is trash literally everywhere. The entire playground where I took my niece is filled with loose trash. I also emailed the staff about the cleanliness of the unit when we moved in stating the counters had a brown sticky substance all over and their were spiders and Cobb webs everywhere…..no response
I have never written a response on Google before so I do not take pleasure in doing this. The office staff here never answer emails or phone calls I have tried every way possible to get a response and it never works. I signed up through their online portal for internet just to find out that internet provider did not work with my apartment. If the staff had called or emailed me back it would have saved me time and money. I also emailed and called about the cleanliness of the apartment when we moved in. It was not entirely clean and their is an obvious roach problem. Again no response. I am sure I will get a response here telling me to email them. Well let me just tell you I have tried that and it does nothing.
Nice and friendly environment.Good maintenance. Management of a also very good. Completed 1.5 years here and have no major problems. Would be happy to refer this place to my friends.
Im living here more than 2 years and I love the way they maintain everything. I can confidently say that this is one of my personal favorites place to stay.
I drove 2 hours to make it to my 10:00am scheduled tour this morning (their website states they open at 9:00am). I got there about 5 minutes early and right away I could not get through the visitor gate. I tried calling and no one answered so I drove through the open, residents’ gate and found my way to the leasing office. When I got to the leasing office, the door was locked and no one was inside. I tried calling again, no answer. Waited around 15-20 minutes at the door before leaving.Then a few hours later Autumnpark emails me letting me know I missed my appointment.The experience was very disappointing and unprofessional for me as I was really interested in renting.
Rochelle is absolutely great and one of the main reasons I chose Autumn Park! I love the community and the units are amazing! The location and scenery is great!
Yikes . I was really looking forward to a tour this week with this property 🤦🏽♀️. But I definitely don’t want to deal with a management team who doesn’t care about their relationships with their residents. I’m moving from a place like that now, and I’ll be damn if I walk into it again.Yeah, thanks 🙏 everyone I’ll pass on this . .
Awful. If you put in any maintenace request, it will take a few weeks/months for them to come fix the problem. But if they have a emergency (apparently they cant keep their buildings up to code), contractors will just randomly show up at your apartment with no heads up and enter with out permission if you are not home. It is absolutley infrurating. When you then try to call about a problem and you actually get lucky and someone in the office picks up the phone, the office staff forwards you to someone else who can deal with the problem. Except no one ever reaches back out to you.
It’s a really nice community, super friendly and familiar people are really cool, the spaces are beautiful, the people from the leasing office is super nice
I have been living here since 8/2014....The staff....Some may have changed, but I still get awesome customer service!!! Kim is amazing, along with Janie. Also, the maintenance crew are very professional....🤩😎
THE STAFF HERE ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! I’ll just say the one star is for the photos on the website.....I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment to tour the property. Standing at the front door behind the fedex delivery guy who said “uh they take forever to come to the door!” Finally one girl opened a side door to take his package, looks right at me then went to shut the door and the fedex guy had to make her acknowledge me. She said “give me two seconds and I’ll come open the other door” I stood at the door for about 3 minutes in the cold before a maintenance man asked me if I needed help. He went in to get a different girl who comes out and says “ I’m sorry we are in a meeting and you’ll have to come back after lunch around one” l said “But I have an appointment at 10:30am, I have it right here on my phone” She says “well it didn’t update in our system..”Don’t know about the property but the girls in the office clearly lack basic customer service skills.
I been living here for over a month now and I been calling the leasing office for a week and nobody responded when I leave a message nobody returns my call not only that but the staff failed to mention a roach problem they take forever to fix things when I moved in maintenance put a hole in my walll and nobody came back to sand or paint what they did to my wall like this is not cool at all there’s also a lady in the office named Kim and she’s extremely disrespectful the only person who is helpful and nice is Michelle and the helpful maintenance guy is mark these are the only 2 people who seem to care about us
I have lived in these apartments for five years now. They have reasonable prices and some good amenities. The staff is very professional and responsive. Besides there day to day work, they also organize parties and treats for their residents. I especially like to thank Janie Chacon, who is one of the most hardworking and empathatic staff member. She understands the situation and goes beyond to help residents.I like the gym here. Its quite big. Havent used the tennis court much.
I am not very happy with this apartment complex and I probably will not renew my lease next year. I have been here a month and I still do not have working A/C and heat. When I moved here the apartment was not cleaned at all. I also have a bug problem. I kill bugs every day now. It takes a week or two for maintenance to come, if they come at all. Living here has made me realize how much I miss my old place where people actually cared. Although I love to see all the families and children playing outside, everyone is always in the middle of the street after 5pm until 12am. It’s nerve wrecking having children dart out in front of cars in the dark. Nobody ever social distances outside nor does anybody ever wear a mask when they take group walks or play badminton in the parking lot. I’m just not happy here and I wouldn’t advise my friends or family to live here either.Update 11/10/2020:My A/C and heat is still haywire even after maintenance came last week.Update 04/01/2021:Maintenance will close out request without ever going to the property. I have a doorbell camera so I know when people walk by. I still kill bugs all the time. I call for pest control often. Sometimes they come sometimes they close out my request without coming. I have to spray my own apartment most times. Now they are charging me for things that I have. I keep getting charged for not having renters insurance when I clearly have renters insurance. The park lot is horrendous because people will not get out of the way. I’ve seen a child laying in the parking lot, in the middle of a driving area. I have been heavily thinking about just moving.Update 07/07/2021Bug, bugs, bugs… now that it’s hot outside I’m spraying and fight bugs entirely too often. The tenants upstairs set off a bug bomb because my daughters room was filled with the smell for 3 days. The first night that it was set off, bugs started coming down. I put in a pest control request and told pest control they sprayed a few rooms and that was it. They know the bugs are throughout the building and yet they only sprayed a few rooms and that was it. We pay a month fee for pest control, yet we have pest. I sent a picture of the pest to corporate and she implied it is normal for outside bugs to come inside, like I should be okay with it. The pool is another issue. It is an eyesore. It is a swamp back there. We also pay a monthly amenity fee for the pool but we can’t use it because the pool “can’t pass inspection”. It is filthy, it has frogs at night, it smells. It’s just awful. This property has two pools and you can use NEITHER one. At this point I should be compensated for living here.
I scheduled a tour online to view a 1 bedroom apartment, I drove 35 minutes and arrived a little early so I went to the leasing office to see if I could possibly do the tour a little early. The door was locked and there were about 3 signs with 3 different numbers to call, called all 3 multiple times and no one answered. A leasing agent was walking around the office and seen me outside, look me dead in my soul and didn’t even acknowledge me standing outside in the cold. I will continue to look elsewhere if this is what I’ll expect by moving into this property. Terrible first impression and a waste of my time and gas.
It is pleasure to live here but it is bit costly and also some attention to the yearly maintenance of the surroundings would make living here much more comfortable.Neighborhood is quite good

I have been attempting to call this complex since 4/13 to get information on SIGNING A YEAR LEASE and NO ONE has answered or returned any email. This is pretty unprofessional for someone who is actually interested in signing. Please provide better customer service. No longer considering just wanted to make others aware.Update: they deleted my review when I posted it last time, so I will continue to post.
I moved in recently and my move in experience was very very bad. The apartment was not cleaned properly. Carpet had very bad smell. there were cobwebs in all the rooms.On top of that I had to put multiple work order to fix small small issues which could easily have been fixed before a new resident moves in.
So I’ve been emailing and calling and no one has responded. I’m having a serious bug problem in my apartment and I’ve complained serval times for it to get handled. The exterminator has been here twice and still more are being seen. I’m very unsatisfied here and I will not renew my lease. I highly would not recommend anyone here.
It has been six months we are in this apartment complex. I feel they try their best to make living better here. Response to Maintenance request is very good.Nice and clean surroundings. What they can do better is playground. Playground is not touched for long time I believe. Swings are broken, area not cleaned enough. My suggestion is please pay attention to playground and see if you can make some upgrade.In their office, Jessica is wonderful! She is very helpful, nice and friendly.
They are really bad about catering to maintenance request, Previously I had raised the request about Carpet and they took 4 Months to really fix the issue, sometimes they even close the request without even coming to your apartment. I have opened the new request about the dryer and even after the more than a week no one had come even once to look at the issue.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. Both of our cars were stolen out of the parking lot and management did NOTHING to look at surveillance video and also didn’t send out notification to residents of theft in the area and to be cautious, as done at ANY other complex we have ever lived at.They NEVER answer their phone. Maintenance takes DAYS+ to come out. We’ve been waiting for a new air filter for three months now.Property isn’t well kept, they gave us 10 hour notice to clean and empty ALL of our cabinets and countertops and vacate with our animals so they could roach bomb all the units, disgusting. We pay for pest service, if it was upkept, there should be no issue.People congregate in the parking lot all evening and don’t move out of the way for you to park.This is the worst complex we have ever lived in.
Do not move into this apartment complex, they have serious rodents infestation. Rodents live in the wall and ceiling of our apartments. We couldnt sleep for weeks. Later on we found a dead mouse in our bed! We noticed the infestation and brought it up to their attention and they ignored it.
From past 5-6 months their maintenance had become really worse, it is already an old construction and something now and then doesn’t work but the main issue is, they doesn’t want to fix any issue, I have raised a maintenance request about my dryer not working and it has been more than week and made multiple calls but still they have not visited even once to look at the issue.Very unprofessional
I have been living here for the past 4 months and i was taken aback by all the issues we were having in the pool, i like that when the office team heard that the residents were complaining they promptly set up a community meeting and have taken steps to address our concerns.Management started the pool pass requirement and added security measures, they have patrols by the police every day and are in the process of putting up a gate that all the residents are behind.Apart form that am loving my stay at Autumn Park, the office team is great,grounds are well taken care of and maintenance is fast.
I love it her my first apartment and it’s a dream apartment but the worst thing I don’t like is tht I can’t get a new refrigerator and oven and it is needed I move in November 1

Very quiet and clean I like it. Staff is great I would recommend the community to anyone. The move in was easy the apartment was very clean at move in there where no issues.
So far living in these apartments (Autumn park apartments) it been a great experience it’s very quite,clean,and the people in the front office are very helpful they actually really care. I would recommend living here to anyone I love it
Its a nice community to stay in. In close vicinity to schools, grocery stores, hospitals. It has recently been upgraded to be a gated community, rendering it safer than earlier times.The leasing offc staff is courteous and attends to maintenance requests pretty quickly.The community is a sight to behold during the fall months; wherein it really lives up to it name: AUTUMN PARK.It could use below improvements although:1. The play area is right next to a garbage disposal unit..making it almost difficult to take the kids there due to the stench as well as the mosquitoes (especially in the humid months).2. Better lighting in the community.3. Installing garbage cans/ dustbins within the community at regular intervals..
Great with the exception of a few issues. Neighbors are friendly, quiet and respectful of each other. Grounds are kept really clean and nice. Overall its a good place to live.
I love it here. Ive only lived here a couple of months but Ive enjoyed it. Yes there has been a couple of incidents at the pool and with a few non-residents, but if any of you watch the news, its happening all over the area. We arent special. As far as it being dirty, my upstairs neighbor likes to throw food off the balcony and leave chicken bones everywhere. Thats some dirty people habit, but you know what? I go out and pick it up. Its my neighborhood too. I dont want trash around my door, so I pick it up. If you dont want your neighborhood to be dirty, stop throwing trash everywhere and take a moment to pick up a piece you walk by. Same thing with crime on the property. You dont want it? Call the cops when you see something that doesnt look right. Stop trying to put all the responsibility on everyone but yourselves. The management and staff cant do everything. Dont like it? Think its unsafe? Stop whining. Move or be part of the solution.
Staff is very friendly. The atmosphere in the office is pleasant. Janie helped us few times for lease renewals and transfers. She was very supportive to address questions asked for the renewal and transfer.
It is my home!. I am being there for almost 4 years now and I cant be more happy and thankful; the only way for my to express is saying it is my home. Beautiful floor plans, hardwood floors through kitchen and dinning, big bathrooms, so many floor plans where to choose from, stainless steel appliances, Fireplace in some units, doble pool, Tennis court, dog play space, and so much more!, Almost every month a food truck offer a variety of good food where you can buy your favorite plates, and so much more. The staff is the best! Grant, Jenny, Kim, Jessica, Marcel and all the maintenance guys. I never had any complaint in so many years and if it was any in the pass it was solved. The management is constantly making things better.... Oh! Our new gate😌!! We are just going better and better, they just pamper us here so much that even our flu vaccine is offered here, in case somebody can not make it to the doctors office.... If you want to find a clean, secure, friendly, quiet place to live Autumn Part Community is the best. I really love this complex. I started out in a 2 bedroom now I am in a 3 bedroom. Since I have lived here the management has changed 3 or 4 times because of ownership change. The present management under Grant is awesome. The office staff is very customer friendly so is the present maintenance staff.
Absolutely love it here. Staff is amazing, property is kept up really well, great amenities like two pools, tennis court, gym and playground for kids and gated community is a plus
We were told they wouldnt approve our application due to their financial requirements. We clearly had the ability to pay and could prove it, but since we wouldnt specifically have offer letters or pay stubs before applying, they said we would get denied.Any place that blindly follows written corporate policies without actually listening to customers will always lead to a terrible customer experience.The pictures looked nice though, I guess. Lodge at Mallard and Hunt Club both talked to us like humans.
Dont think of applying. You will loose money for sure.260$ application fees for one person.After applying you will approved based on condition like non refundable deposit more.Even if you have good credit score still deposit goes up to 1 month rent. Dont understand on what things they process application.Adding dependant is tough process here will cost you more about 150$ + extra depositDont expect any help from management.Just go and visit to see attitude of leasing agents
Now new gates are installed. Its good now. We have 2 big swimming pool in community. Child are enjoying there. Playground is there for childs.
Gated community with well versed plan for entry and exit. Appreciate management considered resident’s concerns for security.
If I could give this place a 0 I would . I don’t even know where to begin. My in-laws live here and at first the apartment was nice and quiet. A few months of them living here however, a family moved in above them and it has been HELL ever since. There is always constant noise coming for there apartment from the kids running, jumping, and bouncing balls in the house to their guardians screaming and carrying in when they are doing adult things. It’s completely nonsense. The apartment complex has been called on multiple occasions and of course now act as if they don’t care. We have also gone up stairs and spoken with the family personally and of course they act as if they aren’t doing anything and say they are going to stop and don’t. I completely understand kids will be kids but we should be able to enjoy visiting our family and spending time with our family without having to worry about someone jumping over our heads. If your thinking of finding a place to stay DO NOT chose this place as it is VERY unprofessional and can/will allow any and everybody to live here. They do not care about their residents and instead will take every penny from your pockets.
Autumn park is not safe to live. There were couple of incident happen recently in the community. Its happen due to outsiders can have easy access of the community.Community needs better security safety like installing gate and increase cctv camera at least intersection.
There is no security here, on Sunday when I woke up my car is missing and I called the management and left a voice mail, they didnt respond for a day saying it was not an emergency, so missing a car is not emergency here. What I came to know is management itself tow my car and make me to pay, eventhough i have all the required documents. And the manager easily switch the words and didt help. They will not trust the residents and they will trust the tow company. And lot of robberies, gun shot happened in autumn park, which we cant control, but towing the residents car can prevent by giving the residents a warning or a notice, they will send unnecessary emails, but will not sent the important information.
I have not experienced any incidents living here at Autumn Park. The staff is great! The University recently has had a rise in crime in the supermarkets, banks, 7 elevens, schools, colleges, the light rail the buses, and yet we continue to utilize these services. Yes we have to be cautious. Ive read some posts here at Autumn Park saying its dangerous to live here. I feel that is an unfair statement thats being made for a few isolated incidents that (EVERY) community housing development including private home ownership is experiencing in the world we live in today. I am a retiree and have the opportunity to live anywhere and yet I choose to live here at the Autumn Park Community. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 only because 2 and 3 year leases are not offered. I do understand that its the common practice here in Charlotte. I would recommend the Autumn Park Community to anyone seeking a place to live.
Love Autumn Park Apartments. The staff in the leasing office go above and beyond with answers to any questions, help and community events. The maintenance team...great people and ALWAYS fix or trouble shoot any and all issues.I live in a 3BR/2BATH...lots of room, storage.Some neighbors are disrespectful, but I think thats par for apartment living. However, the property manager does his best to ensure it is tolerable...thanks to Grant Gates and his ENTIRE team for making Autumn Park a wonderful place to reside.
I found these amazing apartments for my brother who has moved back to Charlotte. The staff is SIMPLY AMAZING (Jessica and the Assistant Manager) have been so helpful in helping me get my brother settled in. They even allowed my daughter and I to celebrate the Halloween Festivities with them on today which was awesome because my daughter missed our day of Trick Or Treating in our neighbor due to us being out of town over the wknd. If you are looking for an awesome place to stay thats clean, well landscaped and has an amazing staff Autumn Park is the place for you & your family.Sincerely,Danette Wallace
No fencing exist in community. Anyone can come from any side and run and go out. Due to that most of the robbery happening.Worst property in terms of safety and security of resident. Drug dealing, Mugging, pool rave party, Arm robbery, gun shots, weed smoking is very common. They don’t care about residents safety.200 non-resident having party at pool needs to dealt by management, unauthorized vehicles parked on property has to be dealt by management because residents are charged for all these but due to non-resident nuisance they are not able to enjoy this facility.
Ive lived here for 2 1/2 years, I loved living here as far as the location. The people in the leasing office are nice and pleasant. I only have one MAJOR problem with this apartment complex. The fact that they have taken some of my personal items!!!!! I came one day packed up most of my items, and left some things behind because I was coming back the next day. The next day I came back and all of my cleaning supplies were gone which I recently just bought and I purposely left behind to clean the apartment the next day, they took my laundry detergent, fabric softener, my toilet paper, tool box, my tablet, my sons dirt bike. No windows were broken into, there was no force entry and the only people who had access to my apartment were the maintenance men and the leasing office. They also knew I wouldnt be back that same day because I, myself did not have access to enter the apartment. I had to wait for someone to open the door for me. They are the only ones with access to my apartment. The same thing also happened to my sister in law, they also took little items from her apartment as well. The leasing office is acting completely oblivious to my missing items, and not being of any assistance. I am so disgusted with this apartment complex at this point! Be careful with your items in your apartment!!!!!
Since the day I moved into this place its been hell! The office hardly answers their phone! Ive walked in sometimes and just seen the staff putting on makeup while the phone is ringing! Beware of this place! They have a tow company that comes through at night to tow your car over the smallest things. When I first moved in there was an armed robbery. Find a better place to live! If you see one stars constantly, theres a reason! This place is not accommodating whatsoever!
I wish there was an option for zero stars. We went to lease a new apartment the other day and we met the most unpleasant person we have seen in a leasing office - Janie Chacon. Believe me, I want to use other stronger words to describe this persons behavior accurately but for decencys sake I wont. I saw a clear difference in how this person interacted with us and other people that were present that day, and I want to say that she doesnt like Indians. I dont know whether shes had bad experiences with Indians before, or was just having a bad day, but it feels like she wants you out of there and tries to act smart but what you actually see is an absolutely impatient and disrespectful human being. Janie, we are trying to give you money for leasing your not-so-great apartments, and not only wont you do your job, but you are outright impudent. Please dont go anywhere near this community and especially not to that leasing office.

There are lot of robbery and fire going on in community. Not Safe to live at all. Management should take some action like providing gates at entry and exist so that outsider will not be able to enter. All happening due to outsider who has free entry.
Location is Awesome but few facilities can be imptoved like light at community, cctv services, boundary wall, tennis court improvement. But overall enjoining the stay at here
Yesterday I had the worst experience, where one of friend;s car has been towed with out giving any notification saying it has the expired tags, when I talked to leasing office they said they will help if there is no orange sticker on my car after going to towing company, when I did that, they didnt help me. Me and my friend checked there was no orange sticker on my car. Also leasing office person told me that towing company shared my car details to them but they have not shared any mail to me saying that your car registration has expired. Please registered it immediately other wise towing company will pickup your car after given date. Manager himself not listening my request. We know our responsibility that we have to renew our registration before it get expired. I did the same but DMV has issue with their online process and they have not delivered within time limit, still I am waiting my renew sticker. As this is not my issue, I did what I can do, but un-necessary I had paid to towing company $175. I had good experience with autumn staff but this time they treated very rudely. This should not expect from their manager. I would not suggest to join this community due to this event.I also want to say that I did not received any reminder mail in my inbox as well as in mail box. Also I didnt find any notice pasted or highlighted on my car. When I have asked manager if you know that my car registration has expired why you have not send mail to me, the answer I received that was very pathetic We are not suppose to send mail to you as it is not our duty. Autumn park always says that our community is paperless and for my issue they have not send a single mail and vanish my car. I am thinking to file a civil case against community because UN-necessary I had paid $175 to towing company.
The new management is AWFUL! When we moved in there was different management, they were much more attentive, polite, and they truly cared. Now it is so different. They dont care if you have an issue and they are rude. Someone broke into my car and I notified the office, they said they would call and NEVER did.The computer room has no printer anymore and hasnt had one in FIVE months. They refuse to replace the one that was there previously. The amenities are always broken. The apartments themselves are okay... except for the fact that you can only take 5 minute showers before the hot water runs out. Im not the pickiest person. In fact I was very happy when I first moved here. Now it sucks, oh and the prices have skyrocketed. I will be moving out at the end of my lease. Take my advice and do not move here unless you have the time to deal with all of the flaws that come with this apartment complex.
I’ve lived in the apartments for about 2 1/2 years I just moved out in April. Manager didn’t want to renew my lease. Reason he said he didn’t have to give one. When I first moved in I noticed bed bugs. Of course they claimed it came from me but come to find out I guess they didn’t do bed bug Expection before I moved in. They ended up paying for it but of course it was a hassle To pack up the apartment to have pest control come do the treatment. Along with that the apartment was full of bugs dead and Alive. I kept noticing things dropping from my stove. Come to find out the top of the stove was full of dead bugs. I asked for a new stove was told they can replace the Panel but not the entire stove because it wasn’t broken. Maintenance manager was super rude. Office manager CAN be rude as well. Cars kept getting broken into. Atleast 4 Times since I lived in the apartment. My friend who lives in the apartment car gotten stolen from in front of her door. I see the fact that they are trying to make some changes which Is good but apartment are over priced for what your getting to be honest. Hardly any parking have to park 3 building down. Neighbors play loud music 2 3 4 o’clock in the mornings. Loud in general. I actually was ready to go.
Good place to live. Ideal for families with children. Many Asians are living in this side of town. Friendly neighborhood. Simple leasing process and reasonable rate.
Worst property in terms of safety and security of resident. Drug dealing, Mugging, pool rave party, Arm robbery, gun shots, weed smoking is very common. They don’t care about residents safety. Also its very old appartments and having no latest facility and overpriced. Kids play are is adjucent to dumpster and all the equipments are old !!!! Manager is very unprofessional and rude.As a resident our personal safety is our concern but security and proper maintenance of the property is management’s responsibility. 200 non-resident having party at pool needs to dealt by management, unauthorized vehicles parked on property has tobe dealt by management because residents arecharged for all these but due to non-resident nuisance they are not able to enjoy this facility.Just telling crime can happen anywhere you can not get rid of your responsibilities.
Apartment are very spacious and leasing office and staff are nice. I see some improvements after Grant Gates arrive. Only thing is apartments are very old. Needs more maintenance.

Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere in the office was pleasant.HOWEVER, the apartment was not ready at all for a move in and the apartment itself did not reflect the pictures on the website except for the stainless steel appliances. Screens missing, window cracked, patio screen wouldnt close and had a hole in it, patio door track wasnt cleaned at all, blinds to patio door were installed backwards and dirty, there was a crack that surrounded the entire patio door that should have been sealed, bathrooms were dirty, cabinets in kitchen looked like they were spray painted by an amateur who forgot to clean them prior to spraying, one whole cabinet didnt even get finished, over spray on the glazed countertops, some cabinet doors were stuck and drawers were crooked. Laundry doors were not even on the track and missing the pins that held them on the track, quite a bit of areas had cracks and needed caulked, air vents were dirty, door sweep to garage door was damaged which resulted in a couple dead palmetto bugs in the apartment, paint on door knobs, and the list continues to go on!I felt it necessary to cancel my lease within 30 minutes of being in the apartment and was basically forced to find a new apartment elsewhere which cost me more money and extra charges for my truck rental and movers; to make matters worse, I was moving into town from SC.From a fellow Community Manager in the property management business, I am so disappointed in the lack of detail by Maintenance when turning the apartment and the Property Manager for thinking this apartment was in a move in ready condition.
I sent a very important package to my daughter who lives in the complex. The USPS confirmed delivery by the tracking number, to the complex office at 11:17AM on April 23, 2015. My daughter checked on several occasions only to be told that the package never arrived. This VIP package has never been seen again. Incompetence and/or theft at its best.
There are serious security issues raised by the residents regarding their safety to the management. There have been recent incidents of armed robbery and gunshots in the community but the autumn park management is not taking any preventive action to avoid such scenarios in future.There are no boundary walls surrounding the community so anyone can enter into the community.They could have installed security gates at the entrance and CCTV at various places to stop such incidents but they really dont care about safety of their residents.Many residents are living in fear and are planning to leave the community.
The location of autumn park is awesome. Near to every thing office school hospital etc. The apartment is spacious and staff is very helpful
I have lived here for over 6 months and never really had any issues. The management seems to really care and take action when things are not going well in the community. One or two incidents occur that involve people that dont even live here and everyone wants the management to put gates/fences and cameras up with armed guards outside every door of every apt. and snipers hiding in trees - Get real people and think logically. And to everyone complaining about there not being gates.... were there gates in place when you toured the property and then signed a lease?? Nope. The manager tried to explain in the community meeting last night that gates are pain in the a** and he is exactly right. As a former law enforcement officer and having personally worked in an industry for over a decade that relies heavily on the use of parking and security gates, I can tell you that they require a full-time maintenance team dedicated solely to repairing and maintaining them. One person in one car slams into a gate and breaks it or the power supply gets interrupted - guess what... everyone is stuck and angry and complaining and traffic backs up and then emergency vehicles cant get into the property... and on and on and on it goes. And while all that is happening, a criminal simply walks around the gate or jumps a fence and breaks into your apt. and steals your stuff. Oh...but wait..we demanded cameras be put everywhere... guess what, all we are going to see is some unknown (most likely) person running by carrying your TV. Who was it? Dont know. Where does he live? Dont know. Where is my TV now? Dont know. You are big boys and girls, call 911 if you see or hear something that is suspicious, get some simple wi-fi enabled cameras and put them outside your apt. so that you can monitor things when you are not at home and protect yourself with either a monitored security system or a personal weapon. OR move! You chose to live in what is now, the 16th largest city in the U.S. - crime is going to happen. And what we have seen at Autumn Park is not even close to what residents deal with in other/worse parts of Charlotte, I can promise you that.
Staff is very rude and careless to the people who walkin to the office.They dont even care to check and prefer to get paid doing nothing.Printer isnt working but they dont care to tell the customers and solve the issue.There is a Guy who is so rude at the office and i will not suggest anyone this place.Please change the staff.
Autmun park is not safe. No security, community gates. It’s easy for non-resident to enter into Autmun park.
Unsecured place to live. This is the community where crime may happen anytime with anyone.Here robbery happens at day time 11 AM at gunpoint by non residents.Property manager and owner of the proerty dont care about anyones safety and security.No fencing exist in community. Anyone can come from any side and run and go out. Due to that most of the robbery happening.
Autumn park is situated in good place. Most of the offices and grocery centeres are near by. If management makes it as Gated community, then it will be one of the best community as compared to other surrounded communitues.Staying in this community is really unsafe now a days. All the residents in this community are leaving in fear due to multiple frequent gun shot incidents happened recently by non residents. This is happening because there is no security gates available in community. Lot of non residents are entering in community without any reason. Due to this only, Frequent bad incidents counts increased in last six months.Note: Autumn Park management need to take strict action to install the security gates at both the enterance and need to install cameras at all the intersactions inside the community along with day and night monitoring of cameras. Law enforcement and personal security guards frequent patrolling can also help to improve the security measures in society.
I have my car parked in designated parking lot with Autumn park sticker on it. My car tag was expired in May-19. I have renewed it but due to some issue my renewal sticker got delayed. While I was waiting for new sticker from DMV the towing contractor towed my car on midnight of 21st July.Car was towed without any prior notice either from Autumn park management or from towing company. When I inquired with property manager he said that towing company has given them list of cars to be towed on 8th July, but management didnt inform me. Property manager said it’s not their job to inform resident. Resident has to inform them about expired tag. Also there was no warning sticker pasted on my car by towing company.Because of this incident my whole day wasted in negotiating with property manager and towing company. I couldnt go to office that day. I had to take uber ride to reach out to towing company office to rescue my vehicle. For getting my vehicle back I paid $175. I have shown them follow up history with DMV and renewal receipt but they don’t want to listen me.I am a loyal resident of Autumn Park from more than 4 years and in return what I am getting is mental harassment.My points are1. As per leasing agreement vehicle can be towed if it’s unlicensed or unauthorized or abandoned. But I have renewed my cars registration in Jun so it was not unlicensed when it was towed. It has Autumn park sticker on it so it’s not unauthorized.2. This is matter between car owner and DMV. Why resident has to inform to property management about invalid tag?3. If DMV allows me to drive my car with renewal receipt how can property management consider it’s as unlicensed?4. There is no official communication from property management. Why property management didnt inform me about it?5. Why should I pay $175 for towing fees while it’s not my fault and when I didn’t requested for towing service?I am very much disappointed about this and now I am planning to file a civil case.
I have lived here for over a year now and when I first came here there was a different management company. They were GREAT! So helpful and they made everything so easy and even did monthly check-ups for the apartments and changed our filters. At the beginning of the year, Autumn Park got a new management company. They are horrible. They made rent payments the easiest for them but so complicated for the residents. There arent any monthly maintenance check-ups and the new website is HORRIBLE to navigate and doesnt even work half the time. The website requires codes to access things that werent even given to us. Dont come here if you want to deal with a difficult management team.
It is horrible apartment. They never changed the AC filter in 3 years. we saw lot of wet areas formed with in AC, while changing filter our self recently. no routine maintenance at all. It is smelling house whenever AC is on. Lot of Dust Mite Bites too. Please correct appartment before we become sick and die.
I moved in 2 months ago and so far so good the staff is very helpful and maintenance has been very fast,love the location.

I currently reside here, and Ive been under my lease for a little under a month now. I guess its probably premature for me to rate this complex, but it is what it is. I like the place a lot, as its close to everything I need. The apartments and overall community are quite nice. However, I was a little disappointed that the property person failed to tell me certain things before moving in, namely that the lease is actually for 15 months and that the electricity and renters insurance absolutely had to be ready to go before being given a key. No other complex Ive stayed at in Charlotte had either of those requirements as a requisite upon move-in. Additionally, my car got towed after being here for 2 weeks (due to the inadequate parking spaces, I was parked in a no-parking zone; no biggie, it was my fault). Not only that, but the towing company comes by a few times a week and checks car tags to insure that everyones registration is up to date. The possibility of being towed for a lapsed registration wouldve been nice to know ahead of time, as Ive not experienced this at any other complex. Maintenance requests seem to be answered quickly, but noise complaints? Not at all. If you move here and are sensitive to loud noise, make sure to request a TOP FLOOR APARTMENT. As far as rude staff members under the new management, fortunately I havent dealt with that. But then again, Im the sort of person who wouldnt let anything like that fly, especially since this is my residence.FYI: I have the 2-BR Blumenthal floor plan, I absolutely love the layout. Theres no fireplace, breakfast nook, or bay window, but I didnt need any of that stuff as I have relatively minimalistic requests.
Very Unsafe place to stay in this community....I am staying here since last 3 year and every month we can hear multiple gun shots. Recently robbery happened on gun point @12.00 Noon.Requested multiple times to management to install security gates but no action taken by management.Stay away from this community !!!!!
Blaming resident for no reason. Service is worst and we are facing lot of inconvenience with the apartment. In emergency required things also leasing staff said it will take 24-48 working hours to fix any issue.
Worst community that I have ever seen in US... the staff is very worst here.. that to I have to mention one name here freddy... he is such a poor customer friendly... never ever choose this to living place.. there is no value for your money here... poor service.... over all I say never choose this community.
Living here was the worst experience of my life. The complex is infested with cockroaches, and the staff is very unfriendly! The area manager actually hung up the phone on me, and offered little to no help. The staff is completely incompetent, and the complex is constantly changing. I lived there 15 months, and the office staff changed nearly three times! They advertised a Business Center to me when I toured the property, but the center was closed for five months! Do you think they made rent adjustments for the time the amenity was taken away? Absolutely not! I was also robbed at GUNPOINT on the property. Not to mention that a few of my neighbors were constantly offering me cocaine and other drugs. The property is unsafe and overpriced. The property sits less than one mile from two title-one schools and the rent is through the roof. Do your research on the area before you move there. There are far nicer places to stay in Charlotte that are priced just as comparable. Autumn Park is disgusting and the staff is even more disgusting. The new manager has the worst attitude; maybe she does not realize how many managers have came before her.
The worst apartment ever... We vacuumed atleast 2 bags of dust after we moved in initially... the refrigerator, sink, most of the lights werent working and the management was too casual. We moved out in the mid of the month and they made up the remaining charging me for faults in the kitchen sink. Worst management.. Please dont consider this apartment... there are lots other close by...
Very unprofessional staff, first time visiting older black lady was very rude. Second visit my cousin scheduled an appointment to tour and no one is in the office at all, sat outside for 30 minutes.

The worst community ever I have lived in. The leasing office won’t accept the parsel if it’s not on the lease holder’s name.The staff is not at all cooperative. The community is like zoo you can find snakes,raccoon etc. won’t recommend this place

My husband & I lived here twice, the first year in 2011-12 was good.. so we came back in 2013-14. Lots of Pros the first year... lots of Cons the 2nd year.Pros-Beautiful & QUIET neighborhood!!! Great maintenance.Apartments are clean & affordable!Friendly, nice neighbors.GREAT location.AWESOME amenities & neighborhood functions.Only rental complex I found with a Recycling center!!!Sounds wonderful, right? Only if you can get through the Cons..Cons-2013-14 ManagementIs the staff rude because of management or is it because they are just naturally that way?They consistently lost our paperwork from day 1... tried to delay our move-in 2 days while we have our movers, all our belongings and no where to go sitting in the parking lot. REALLY!? THEN CALLED THE COPS ON US FOR NOT LEAVING!?!?Stupid rules, after youve seen the same staff 100x, they wont release your package to you, even though you have a mailbox slip and a key. Why are you still asking for my ID? Being impersonal is very rude & unaccommodating.Our Toyota Tacoma was broken into... 2 broken windows... items stolen. Police said criminals are perusing the neighborhood looking for guns to sell. Truck was parked in an inconspicuous location. (I own a Lexus, which is obviously not a target for holding a gun & park close to other cars near our door, which did not get broken into). Definitely be smart about where you park & what you keep visible in your car.SO... if you can deal with the cons, it might be a nice place to stay. We enjoyed our time for the most part... just obviously not the days we had to go to the management building.
I have lived here a few months now and when I first moved here the apartment was not move in ready then a month or 2 someone moved above me and they make so much noise jumping,bumping,running everything I told staff about it but nothing is still done .will not be here much longer will have to break my lease I cant take anymore worst apartments ever I can even here when they r having sex just terrible thin floors and walls .had to edit what I first put down that staff was nice but that was it, building is the worst after living here not worth the money.
This neighborhood is most insecure place in USA.
This place is becoming one of the dangerous spots in Charlotte, shoot outs every week, break outs during day time..please avoid.
