This has been my favorite spot for a manicure for years. I won’t go anywhere else. They always find a way to squeeze me in when I need a service last minute and they are super professional. I never feel rushed, but they focus and work quickly so I can be in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Super reasonably priced, really personable staff, and extremely clean. This is your place! Book it!

I was disappointed in the service from my usual nail salon. I googled salons in my area, and I found PURITY NAIL BAR and Omg! I almost cried tears of joy after my First visit! The shop is CLEAN and sanitary, cozy and quaint, the shop manager Quinn is amazing with her customer service and making sure you are satisfied! John did my Nails and oh my gosh, I was blown away by his precision and attention to detail. I’ve never had this kind of experience at a nail salon. Ive been a client of Johns and have followed him around for years until he settled in his own space. John is by far the BEST for nail shaping and design! Kim also does wonders for pedicures. To all those that have negative comments regarding professionalism, I would suggest making an appointment, it is THAT simple. If you are unhappy with any service, speak up BEFORE you leave and they would be more than happy to accommodate. Due to the pandemic, it should be understandable as to why you need an appointment but some people refuse to get it and probably the vaccine too!

I’ve been coming here for over two years now and I could not be happier! The space is always clean and chic, all of the techs are phenomenal, and my manicure almost always makes it an extra week! Love it here 🥰Quinn and John are the two techs I see most but they’re all wonderful!

I love going to Purity. My nails always look so good and all of the nail techs are so nice. One time my manicure chipped a tiny bit a week after I got my nails done and they were able to squeeze me in for a touch up appointment and didn’t even charge me. (I work in a lab so I’m not too surprised my nails chipped after a week, the other manicure I had lasted 2 weeks as usual with gel)

Quinn is the very best! I love her, always making sure she fits me in their busy schedule with my last minute calls and always insures I’m satisfied! The best salon in Boston ! When I first moved out here finding a salon that values nail shape was my first priority. Purity Nails value shape, “ like your body, attractive even ... naked.” They are critical about their craft. I travel 1hr to see them all the time for all of these reasons. Hands down my favorite nail salon.

I have experienced unbelievable rudeness from the owner and another man who did not introduced himself. The water for hands was not warm and in response to my request to provide a warmer water, I was insulted. The quality of the service was not good and I asked the opinion of another customer. She confirmed my opinion. The owner continued to insult me, that this time it was on the level of abuse. She did not allow me to dry my nails, but I insisted, since I needed to have my nails in order for a Birthday party.Never ever in my life I had such terrible situation.I am an educator with 49 years of experience and always had good relations with my colleagues, my students, my hairdresser, and nail professionals.Ksenya.

The person who answers the phone was very rude where she didn’t like questions being asked about services and very dismissive. It was to the point where I couldn’t book services. I understand in a pandemic there’s different ways salons are doing things but she could’ve been more pleasant and not make it seem like the business is booming so who cares about one potential clients dissatisfaction. I hope that she sees this review and keeps in mind that working in client oriented environments require patience, active listening and respect. As much as I wanted to try this place out based on reviews and photos, it’s not worth the rudeness and disrespect.

Absolutely LOVE the service, smiles and relaxing atmosphere. Quinn and John are always welcoming and working hard to make sure you are happy. The staff is detailed oriented and check to make sure you are satisfied with their work. I always get pedicures and they are worth every minute.

I was very hesitant to get my nails done during COVID. I booked an appointment here as they were the only company I could find with their COVID protocols on their website and photos of the salon online. I am SO happy I went here. Everyone was so nice and my nails have never looked better. I have told all my friends to now go to this salon because they did such a great job on my nails (gel manicure) and pedicure. I went with my mom and she loved her pedicure as well. This is the only salon I have seen with a plastic divider for a pedicure. Also the chairs are so comfortable. They also used disposable tools so after they filed my nails for example, it was disposed of. My nails lasted so long and they people there actually cared how my nails came out. Typically for a gel manicure I would have to ask to get more than 1-2 coats, but at Purity Nails they did 3 coats and I didnt even have to ask. I am so happy with this salon and would highly recommend it.

Overall it was a good experience! I got a spa pedicure and gel manicure and everything turned out great. My only con is that the pedicure chairs are not that comfortable and dont have massagers like most other places I have been.

I’ve been going to Purity Nail Bar for over two years, and I can’t say enough great things about my experiences. The owners are extremely friendly and professional, as are all of their staff. I never have an issue making an appointment that works with my schedule, and I always walk away exceptionally happy. I had a regular pedicure and a gel manicure — excellent on both! I just moved into the area, so I was a new client looking for a place to get my nails done, and everything was perfect. The manager knew my name as soon as I walked in (because I had booked by calling; their number is online). COVID-safe (masks, distancing, panels between chairs, open air, etc.). I will definitely be returning! For gels they even have seasonal trends that don’t cost any more than usual. I’m not typically a trendy person, but I’ve been flaunting my brown/orange nails for a week now, and everyone is asking where I had gotten them done! Great value for the price.

I have use this salon multiple times now, every time I’m there everyone is friendly and upbeat. I enjoy getting my nails done there because I know the quality of the product and the experience of the nail technicians are of the highest quality

I visited Purity Nail Bar for the first time this week after seeing some of their posts on Instagram. If you are looking for designs, rhinestones, or any other intricate detail to your nails by absolute professionals, go here. I’ve tried several places in the Boston area and it seems like they are one of the only businesses who say that they can do an intricate design and fully deliver. I will absolutely be coming back!

My first visit and can’t wait to come back and get some nail art next time!! It was my fault for picking regular nail polish instead of gel, which dries MUCH faster. My nails were accidentally not dry yet so I messed a bunch of them up. Even though they were closing, they still took the time to re-coat them and fix them for me. Excellent service!!! Super efficient and also they’re really welcoming. ALSO you can use venmo!! All salons should be like Purity!

Had a wonderful experience today! I got the deluxe pedicure and my feet look and feel great. I did a walk-in service and they took me right away and were very friendly. The massage was so relaxing along with the paraffin and hot towels. They also take off 5% for cash payments which is a nice touch. Ill definitely be back!

I found this salon on IG and it happened to be 1 mile from where I am staying. Their work is amazing. They have all of the latest acrylic ombres with clear stiletto tips....they do any kind of art work. The salon is beautiful, I felt very safe with everyone being separated by partitions as well. The staff could not have been more accommodating. ❤️

Best nail salon in Boston! Its always hard to find a good salon that does a great job with any nail service, as well as friendly service. These guys have both! They care for your wants and needs, make suggestions for what they think would be best without making it seem like they only want your money, and ensure you leave happy and satisfied. They also talk with you and make connections, as opposed to just getting you in and out. 100/10 would recommend!

This is honest to god the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. They are perfectionist! It is so clean and they don’t rush through your manicure or pedi. Nothing is worse than leaving the salon not satisfied. You will for sure be satisfied leaving here and definitely worth your money!

I just moved to the area and wanted somewhere close by - I had the best first experience here and will definitely be coming back for a while. The staff were so kind, helpful, and competent and I am so happy with how my fingers and toes turned out. Highly recommend!

This nail salon is very unprofessional, they advertise so many designs that they can do on their Instagram but can’t do any of them. There is only one nail tech in there that can do what you what and his name is John. Let me be the first to warn you, John is NEVER available. Why would a business advertise so many designs when the majority of their nails techs can’t do it. The last experience I had was when my friend and I went into the Purity Nail Bar, note that we were 8 minutes late I’ll take responsibility for that. When walking in the energy was disruptive, the manager was having a really loud argument with one of her clients on the phone and it went on for about 10 minutes. While this is happen my friend and I were showing the designs we wanted before we begun our nails, we had an event we were going to so we had our designs in mind. Subsequently our nail techs began our nails, and the arguing eventually stopped. The manager came and apologized to the only white women in there at the time she said “ I’m so sorry Jessica, I’m so so sorry “ not acknowledging my friend and I and the other black women that was in there at the time . We all glanced at each other assumably thinking the same thing. If a manager is being unprofessional in her place of business in front of multiple clients might I add... why in the world would you only apologize to one? Back to our nails, so while getting our nails refilled we see the manager come behind our nail techs and says something then our nail techs later tell us to pick a color because we can’t do designs. I understand we were 8 mins late but why would you allow us to begin our nails then at the final second say you can’t do it. We only came all the way from Walpole to go to chestnut hill for the design and we left with a very bad experience. Save your time and money and find somewhere else

I always leave happy! Everyone is always very nice and accommodating. My artist always pays detailed attention to my nails and never lets me leave with something I’m unhappy with. They have a decent color selection. Their tools are clean, the salon is clean. I travel here specifically to get my gel manicures. Reasonable price for a top experience!

Very nice establishment, and that’s about the only positive review I have. Ms.Quinn is extremely unprofessional, rude & abrupt to clients. I’ve been to this place more than once and the only thing that kept me coming back is John. He is about the only nail tech in there that is suitable to be one. On three different occasions I’ve had my nails done by the other techs and have been left very dissatisfied. The two times I’ve had my nails done by John I got exactly what I wanted. My most recent visit left me uneasy. When I initially sat in my tech’s station I showed her the style I wanted, & she confirmed that she was able to provide me that service. However it appeared as though they may have over booked. Two clients showed up on time to their appointment but were asked to sit in the car and they’d be notified when to come in. Which is understandable as there are COVID guild lines that need to be followed, but it doesn’t seem practically to clients that have scheduled appointments. With this much pressure Ms.Quinn then walked over to my friend and I & said they are now unable to do our designs and that we should pick a solid color. Without questioning her we did so. However I find it very unprofessional to tell clients that you are able to perform a service for them then change your mind once you have already started their service. Had I been informed from the start that it’s a tight window and my desired service couldn’t be performed I would have simply reschedule for a more convenient day or gone elsewhere. Furthermore I find it very discomforting that one must pay a deposit only when booking with John... why is that? I suggest you all hire more qualified nail techs if the others simply can’t do more than a basic full set. Lastly, I always leave feeling discriminated against simply by the the very apparent difference in the way they welcome/ greet their WHITE clients as opposed to others. This establishment needs to be investigated. I don’t plan to return even if this was the last nail salon on earth. Take ur business else where.... perhaps exotic beauty nail designs??? 🙃 & that is all

BEWARE!I wouldn’t recommend this place. They are rude. The manager is not professional. I made my appointment early in advance and they called me the day of telling me it was a certain time when I wrote down the time as I booked the appointment on the phone . Then they told me if I come they will not be able to take me. Mind you i’ve been waiting all week for this appointment. Later the lady called me saying she’s “the manager” and threatening me ...I’ll make sure everyone I referred to this place knows about my experience . I would recommend Queen Bee nails, their service is much better.

Received an express pedicure from Leah today who did a phenomenal job. She was super detailed and friendly. Prices are reasonable, the salon is clean, and the decor is really nice. Will definitely return!

Customer service is non-existent! When trying to explain the service your looking for or explain the poor service you received the wife will not give you a second to talk. You should not advertise a service you’re unable too provide and become upset when called out on it. Clearly they do not understand the importance of customer service!Response to your post...Heres a little advice for you, proofread your response before posting. Your reply contradicts the service your business provides. During my multiple visits to your establishment, I have had different technicians work on my pedicure and manicure simultaneously.Then your husband would do the designs (at that point, three technicians are working on me). Your husband is the only one who knows how to do designs, so if he is not there, then customers are out of luck. Never have I had one technician provide the service I requested, not trained. Again your husband is the only one who can do designs; not even you can give some of the services advertised by your business. If I pay for the time, I expect to receive assistance with the person I request. Your attitude and the way you are as a manager (not your technicians or husband) with some customers will negatively impact the business. Those I have recommended and other customers left your establishment upset and angry at how you handle them. Again your company advertises a service it cannot provide, and you fault the customer when they asked about it. I hope your lack of professional comments to me will NOT reflect negatively toward your employees when others read this. In response to your feedback, let me make it clear that I dont look to receive service from your business in the future, many other establishments provide better service.

Le did an amazing job on my gel manicure. I went to another place last week for a gel mani and my nails cracked in just a few days. Le cleaned me up and my nails look great! I will definitely be going back.

Purity Nail Bar is awesome. The salon itself is clean, cute and comfortable. Especially their oversizee pedicure chairs! The nail technicians here are top notch, and based on having observed them, they all appear to be very meticulous and careful with their work. I personally go to John as I have followed him around for the past 5 years. He is one of the best nail technicians out there, and I know he only employes the best of the best for his salon. Unlike some other salons where they rush customers in and out, here they take the time with their customers and if someone is asking for a service that will not be feasible in the time they have, they will tell you that as to not rush the job. Go support purity and you will not regret your decision!

I’m really not one to write reviews, but i was so overwhelmed with the quality of service at purity nail bar. at every nail salon i’ve been to in the past, i’ve always felt like they were rushing and truly didn’t care about the quality of my nails. that is not the case here. my nail tech (i believe her name is Tina) truly took her time and made sure my nails were perfect. i’ve never had an acrylic full set as beautiful as this one. i’ll definitely be back!
