This place is the best! The staff is very kind and I want to thank Tina who did my nails. She was very kind and my nails came out exactly the way I wanted them! Which never happens at other nail salons. It’s very close to the airport station it’s just very convenient. Ah! Forgot to mention they give us bottles of water :)

I went to this place because it’s super close to my house. I was quite surprised when I walked in and was immediately seated. The guy asked what I wanted, I said a full set in matte black. He grabs a bunch of mail color options (of which black was not apart of). I realized that there was a language barrier, and just pointed to my hoodie. He understood and began to work. Several times, while working on my nails, he squeezed my fingers too tight, twisted my fingers, or pushed and yanked on my fingers. I always try to relax when getting my nails done, but it’s hard to do so when you’re hurting. The length of my nails all appear to be the same size, but the shapes are all different. Some are slightly crooked, and some are more round (I got stiletto shape).

I’ve only been here twice. The first time was okay. The second time, was rough. The lady who was taking care of me was so rough . She cut me a few times while doing my pedicure and my acrylic. I was in pain where I had to tell her because she kept shaving my nails down so much and then every drilling machine she used, she was close to hitting my cuticle and it would burn. I should have asked for a new person because I was in pain, so that was my fault. The overall nail came out fine but the experience was terrible. I wish I knew her name so that I could never have her again and warn people to not get her. She was an older lady. But, anyways, she was rough and careless. Hopefully whoever you get, is better

I had a great experience with snow she did a great job with my nails and I left very happy. My daughter on the other hand did not have such a good experience, she got the dip powder done which came out nice but she wanted a design on her nails she showed a picture of what she wanted and was told that would be fine but it actually looked pretty bad. It looks like a little kid did the design I felt so bad for her. I know they were very busy but the design was horrible. I’m going to call tomorrow and see if they’ll fix them for her. I’ll let you know the outcome.

The owner seems nice. But staff is not friendly. First time I asked for dip but she gave me acrylic. Then I got gel a diff time and chipped after two days. Not friendly - if I weren’t so close - I’d go elsewhere.

Got a pedicure here and had a nice experience. They gave out bottles of water, everything looked clean. They give the upsell for the spa pedicure for an extra $10. I probably won’t do it next time, I didn’t see a difference between what I was getting vs other customers. They were also very sweet to help an older customer who just wanted some help cutting her nails. I was in and out in 40 min. $30 regular; $40 spa. Cash tip only.

I really wanted to love this place as it’s right down the street from me - unfortunately my gel manicure was disappointing and I was a little concerned about the hygiene of the tools used on my nails -pros: super quick, I was able to be seen as a walk in right away. Nail tech was friendly, venmo accepted as a form of payment. My nails looked nice for a few days!cons: the tools used by the tech were dirty and still had skin pieces on them from previous clients. More than one of my fingers were bleeding throughout the process as he clipped my skin instead of dead cuticles. Over 5 coats of gel polish color were applied to my nails, but they were sometimes only cured for 10-15 seconds before he moved to another coat. The result of this was my gel manicure completely peeling off within a week which is really unusual in my experience.Hopefully this is an informative review that helps with future appointments and clients! It is a great and convenient location, I think I may have just been unlucky on that particular day. :( I wasn’t going to leave a review but once the $30 gel mani peeled off I felt I should. Thank you for the service nonetheless!

Cindy did an excellent job on my acrylic manicure! I wanted something that looked like a very natural nail, and that is exactly what I received.there was so much attention to detail and she asked for my approval every step of the way to make sure it was exactly as I wanted. I definitely will be coming back for more nail services in the future!

I have been going to Cindys for a while and normally enjoy my experience. However my last trip was terrible. The man who did my nails rushed the whole thing. He didnt completely remove my precious manicure before putting on my new one and you can still see the dark polish showing through. He barely shaped or groomed my nails at all and I left with a bumpy finish and messy edges. By the time he gave me a chance to say anything it was too late. To make matters worse, 3 separate nails all cracked or chipped literally the next day. Easily the worst gel/dip powder manicure I have ever gotten.General things to keep in mind: An appointment means nothing, youll still wait for a while when you arrive. They dont use freshly sterlized tools for the next customer. They always push gel/dip so youll need to stand your ground if your not interested. Typically quality is pretty pretty high overall but known that not all nail techs are created equal.

The minute we walked in they tried to convince me and my friends to go for powder when we asked for acrylic nails with gel polish. Total charged came to $100 not including tips. As you can see glue everywhere very unfinished job. Owner did nothing to have her employee fix it.

I have continuously given business to this nail salon. I have brought friends I have come on numerous times and every time there has been a bad experience by someone. I stopped going months ago. But my daughter wanted some acrylic nails so she decided to go here since its close to our home. Needless to say it was a bad experience for her. She was pitched a cuticle care which was an extra $5 to her $28 acrylic nails. And the nail technician left her cuticles all irritated and bleeding. And she has small fingernails and she was annoyed at how many times it was mentioned how small her fingernails were. Some of her nails came out crooked and she was just so fed up she wanted to leave. Please look at the photos and know that this place is consistently messing something up. I will say it is very clean and neat and all new equipment.

I went in here today for the first time staff was friendly but didnt undestand what I was talking about. I went in for a full set been doing my nails for years now,I had asked for gel nail polish and a price u was given 50.00 I end up being charged 96.00 and my nails look like press ons. They aint shaped correct and the lady ended up put my other stuff on my nails instead if nail polish I do not recommend this place first and most not Ill understand what ur saying and the work I got was horrible I been doing my nails way to long to ha e to deal with something so ugly

I was 12 year old when I started going to cindys and now I’m 19 and I never stopped I only trust Cindy with my eyebrows but for nails you can go to anyone love this place I will go there for the rest of my life

I made an appointment with Snow because I loved how she did my nails the last time I visit. I went in today for a refill and I’m loving the color and shape I got. She’s very nice and sweet. She also gives the best hand massages. For your next nail visit, make an appointment with Snow.

Today was my first time here, Ive been trying to find a good nail place since I moved to east Boston and I finally found it! As skin as i got there and picked out a color they were able tho take me. I got a full set of acrylics with gel which came out awesome. My daughters manicure came out good too. They arent too thick and theyre even. I cant wait for my natural nails to grow out so they can do a set of dip nails on me. I also brought my 4 year old daughter to get a manicure and cindy was great with her. Since I got a full set with gel, obviously it took a while and my daughter started to get impatient because she loves to have her nails done. Once the acrylic was done she offered to do my daughters to keep her happy and so that she could dry while she finished me up. She also offered to add some glitter onto her rainbow nails which made her very happy. They were pretty busy, especially for it being AFTER closing time and they didnt rush us at all.

Very clean establishment. I came in late and she still took me. I won’t go anywhere else. The staff are very nice and accommodating

Really bad technician lady working who provides very low quality work. lady left me with one eyebrow and a half plus spa pedicure/Gel pedicure was a big fail. There was no one trying to make me feel better for the situation or to try to fix the problem I mean how can they fix putting hair back on my eyebrows??

This was my second time, the first time the job was not done well, so I wanted to give them a second chance, I told the guy what I wanted, acrylic nails, coffin shape, and then picked out a color, he told me powder is better, and gave me a different shape, and got a different color than what I picked and told me its better, after paying I walked out with nothing I wanted, and everything he wanted, never again, my nails look awful, I wont be back.

I’ve been coming here for almost a year now, I love them ! Every time I come, I always leave over satisfied. Mai is my nail tech, Cindy is my eyebrow tech, both are great !!

I went with my friend to get her nails done for her birthday. she asked for her nails to be coffin shaped but they came out in a square shape and they were too short even though she asked for a longer length. her nails weren’t painted evenly and there are some nails that have spaces and bubbles in them. the cost for these nails were initially $35 dollars. if i wouldnt have made a complain, then i would’ve had to pay that. the job that had been done isn’t professional and it didn’t seem like they put in enough effort. the other workers in the salon were also talking about us in their own language (we dont know where they’re from). we felt disrespected and uncomfortable. we won’t be coming back here ever again and good luck to those who continue going. thank you for reading this review and have a good thanksgiving.

I just got my nails done today by Julie. I recommend if youre going to go for the first time to request Julie. She did a fantastic job on my nails! She was very sweet and attentive. She actually cared and valued what I thought about my nails - which is rare to find in the city. Ive been to many salons from Back Bay to the North End where the staff just wants to rush you out of their salon and not take triple or quadruple look, but Julie took her time to make sure I was satisfied with everything she did. I was very impressed and will definitely be coming back.Great service and roughly the same amount youd spend downtown, but service is much better! That is the catch here! If you want to go to a nail salon where they have great service and are efficient I recommend going to Cindys and scheduling an appointment with Julie.

I like this place & go here a lot but it would help if Cindy wrote down her appointments so she doesn’t double book & make people look stupid.

I’ve gone to Cindy’s twice now and both times the experience has been top awesome. The staff are friendly. Both Amy and Cindy did a great job. The technicians take their time and shaped my nails perfectly. The salon has a friend good vibe, I really relaxed and enjoyed myself.

The moment I walked in asking for a pedi they tried to convince me for a mani as well. They’ve asked me 3 times the entire time if I wanted one.Then sitting down they asked me if I wanted to up to the spa package 4 times! They asked if I wanted gel 3 times. I understand they’re trying to come out of a pandemic but so am I. This was my first pedi in far too long and what was supposed to be a relaxing situation but turned into me fretting over money more than I already was.

Love love love Cindy, she’s the owner and she’s amazing! Been going to her for 10 years. Cindy’s is a hidden gem in east Boston! I recommend everyone to go! I recommend this nail salon everything was nice, new and very clean. The staff were friendly. Cindy is the owner and she does a very good job. She doesn’t rush. She takes her time and does your nails or toes or eyebrows how you want them to be done. You leave there very satisfied and waiting to come back next time.

Came here because of the reviews. I picked the color and when I sat the woman kept saying how translucent it was I liked the color a lot but I gave in and changed it. I didn’t catch the woman who did my nails but i won’t go to her again if I decide to come back. She wasn’t rude she was friendly but when she was doing my acrylics the method she was using was weird too much liquid to powder it kept coming off the nail and getting stuck to the bottom. Now the shaping is where I had my biggest issue. I wanted coffin nails and she said it was 5$ extra I was like ok no problem. When she was done shaping them I was in shock they were so bad. On my right hand almost all were misshaped uneven on the sides leaning more towards one side. My left hand wasn’t as bad but had two fingers that had the same issue as my right hand. She told me to go wash and I said no that my nails were shaped bad. As usual she tells me it’s because of my fingers and I said no that’s the nail that you cut too much off of one side. She wasn’t rude and went back in with the powder. It looks less noticeable now except it’s not straight. The edges where she went back in with the powder were uneven. I said it’s okay i can fix it a bit when I get home. I get to pay and she tells me my card didn’t go through and I was confused i was certain I had enough to cover the nails. So I gave her a different card. I went to check my balance and the transaction had gone through she came back told me my other card worked. I told her to get the manager Cindy came over and helped and put my money back. I don’t blame the nail tech for this the first card was a debit that doesn’t require a signature while the other card was credit and she probably assumed it didn’t work because it wasn’t asking for a signature. The owner came back and apologized which was super nice but it was just a lot going on for it being my first time there. I was disappointed I didn’t get the color and the fact that my nail shape was bad. I’ll give this place one more try but they are on the expensive side for me so at this moment I don’t think it was worth it. Overall great customer service it was just the nail tech.

I’m new to the area and was looking for a nice nail salon to go to I found this one because of the reviews I’ve read on them I thought I take a chance. So I called to see if I can come in a lady ask if I can come at 7:30 so at first I wasn’t gonna do it but I said sure I can make that time and was so happy I did. So when I got there it was a wait because so many people but that was fine because when I got my nails and feet done they were awesome. When I tell you Cindy did her thing on my nails I was so grateful I came and will continue to be a Loyal Customer. They have awesome customer service skills asked me if I wanted water even gave me a charger before I even knew my phone needed to charge lol . I just have to say how much I love this new location! I needed to get my eyebrows done, so I called up and made an appt. I know they can get quite busy and with a busy life myself, I didn’t want to take the chance. They welcomed me at the door and within a few minutes Cindy lead me to a nice well lit room. It was spacious, clean, and orderly. She took her time to make sure my eyebrows were groomed to perfection. Needless to say, she never disappoints. She also spoke of some new services they’re offering at the salon for nails called dip powder, and I can’t wait to try it! They really outdo themselves here to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

I have been coming here for the past year but this Tuesday was my last day. The older lady with glasses who did my gel pedicure did a horrible job. I let my toe nails grow a lot for them to be cut nicely but the lady cut them TOO SHORT & UNEVEN! It seemed she was rushing but there werent any clients waiting and it was in the middle of the day.

I found this place a couple of months ago and I love it. The techs are friendly and do a great job. I get the dip done and there are so many colors to choose from. I have had my current manicure for three weeks and not one chip.

My first time here was okay. They have a good color selection for gel. My second visit to this nail salon was terrible. I walked in and was not acknowledged so I sat in a chair to wait my turn. After waiting 45 minutes, I am next but the nail technician tells me she cannot do acrylics and that it will be another 30 minute wait. I had planned out to come here early before work, only to have wasted my time. I will not be coming back here again.

As a licensed nail technician myself, this was by far the worst service I’ve ever had. Very unprofessional. The woman who did my pedicure kept stopping my service to answer her personal calls, she was very aggressive especially when she sat me down to dry. She wanted me to pay immediately which I didn’t like. People come to relax, not to feel rushed. The paint job was horrible, literally have to go home and fix my own nails.

Just came from their got a manicure and pedicure and wax and the lady was awesome she did a great job!! Her name is Julie and I will always go to her! Thanks again Julie 😊Julie you are very nice and did great waxing for me I loved but the gel nails forget it wasted my money a week today and they no good! I visit this place at least once a month for a spa pedicure and dip manicure. Today my husband dropped me off for my usual and asked me to break a bill for him. I went in and asked if they would be able to break the bill for me. One of the staff members briefly glanced at me and rudely yelled no change. I was so offended that I left and decided to find another salon. I understand that he did not know that I planned to use their services but common courtesy dictates that you treat people with respect. I called and asked to speak with the owner but she was unavailable.

I went for the first time to Cindys to get a gel fill in and was disappointed. The best part is that I didnt have to wait long to get my nails done. I dont think Ive ever had someone take so long to do a fill in and still do a poor job. My nails are crooked and bumpy. They are also over priced. If I return to Boston, I will avoid this nail salon. Im sorry to be harsh but I have to inform future clients on what they are in for.

My daughter comes here to get her nails done. She has been a customer for a year. The other day she comes in with my grand daughter and her husband and asked for them to change a bill. They refused and they were rude about it. Not a nice way to treat a customer and not a way to behave in front of a child. Shame on you.

Hardworking women taking drop ins on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly and efficient. Must take cash for tip. Had my nails filled and one repaired plus gel polish, also gel pedi. Snow gave a great lower leg and foot massage. The pedi chair also had a nice firm massage feature. Numerous colors to choose. If you don’t want your cuticles clipped tell them ahead of time.

I got a full set with gel and with 2 designs and it all came out to be $53 which isnt bad considering that I usually go to places that are $100 to do the same things. If you go here, get Cindy. She worked hard on my nails and they turned out really good.

I wouldn’t waste my time here, came twice to specifically see Cindy to get my nails done and she bounced me to another nail tech who I could tell wasn’t as experienced and was new at applying acrylic; as if your time is that precious. You know there’s no talent when the client has to shape their own nail.

I got nails done here for graduation and they were not it. I did get acrylic nails but they were too square for my liking.

I made an appointment but still had to wait over half an hour. I ended up getting the guy, which previous reviewers had warned about, but I didnt want to wait even longer so I went ahead. I got a fill and he made my fingers bleed in 3 different places because he was so rough. The nails are lumpy and misshapen. Not a great experience, Im very disappointed because I know the ladies there do much better work than this.

I am not sure if his name but I had my gel mani sure done by a guy. Ive never had luck with men doing my nails because theyve always been aggressive. This guy was no different. He was nice and attentive but much to rough on my nails. My thumb is bleeding because of it and my other fingers are a little sore. His massage was strong and pulled on my arm at lot. I give 3 stars because I did have a positive experience there before, just dont let the guy do your nails. He had glasses thats all I know about who.

If I can give it a 3.5 I would. the place overall is great. when its busy and youre doing a walk in youll have a LONG wait, Ive waited before almost 2/3 hours. but if they not as busy theyll take you right away. I usually call beforehand now that I know.The eye brow waxing is AMAZING i love it. I recommend people there for it.The majority of the time my nails come out great. the one time they did not is when i had the guy do my nails he left them Very crooked, and badly shaped, I was only there for a refill. 3 came off the next day and even though they didnt charge me to fix those 3 the rest of them came off one after another.my fav, techs are Julie bc she is very humorous and Brenda she does a great dipping powder.I dont know when ill go back for nails, but they definitely have my service for eyebrow wax.

This place is lacking, their problems are numerous and it all adds up to dissatisfaction. They were dishonest about their services. The products are all substandard - old polish thats been married into bottles a million times and all the products look dollar-store quality. They try to pile on & up-sell services without any discussion of prices, so your bill is a mystery. Theyve got a sign hanging on the wall no tipping on credit cards. Peculiar that theyll take cards for services but not tips. Its all a weird way of doing business. Nothing seems on the up and up.

I normally like coming here but I hate when Julie is the only one available because she takes the LONGEST time and the nails still come out horrible !!! I was so mad I didn’t even get my toes done, plus she chooses the color for me when I was trying to figure out what I wanted . I also got charged for coffin when the nails were still square ! I would not recommend Julie she definitely isn’t worth it .

Had my nails done and it was one of the worst pedicures ever. Incredibly rushed and not relaxing at all. The owner isnt friendly at all, not are most of the staff, and it looks like my 10 year old niece did the paint job. Really poor quality and really unfriendly. So frustrating and it just completely ruined my night. What a waste of money.
