Ive been going to this place for 3 months and have nothing but positive things to say! The staff is very friendly, attentive, and make you feel very relaxed and pampered. I recommend the deluxe pedicure with the rock massage! Definitely coming back!

Love this salon! Only nail salon I go to in Iowa City. They do a great job and are very professional and nice.

I needed a powder dip fill and 2 tips replaced. They turned out PERFECTLY. So so beautiful and the nail technician was so wonderful. I wont go anywhere else! Thank you all so much!

Went in with my daughter we spent 114$. I showed a pic of the design I wanted and was told she couldnt do it because of time and being understaffed. I said ok and asked for her to do the colors in the picture. I got nothing I asked for. My daughters nails are to thick, crooked. She got the design she wanted. Never going to visit them again.

The ladies at K and Q paid attention to detail, made such great suggestions and were very interactive. If you want to be pampered, visit them! You wont be disappointed!

K & Q is the best! Every time I come in, I am greeted with the friendliest and most professional behavior. They truly care about their customers and check to make sure I love every part of my nails. I could not recommend them more!

Technicians are very friendly and supporting to what you want done. Theres no chemical, nail chemical, smell in the salon. The prices are also comfortable. I leave pleased with the results. I had a salon I frequented but theyre no longer. Ill keep coming as long as Im satisfied.

Called and made an appointment and they said 3pm. Got there for my appointment and she told me I would have to wait 30+ minutes because the person who took my appointment wasnt there anymore. They didnt take my name or phone number when I made the appointment either. I ended up calling somewhere else and they got me right in.

The staff are very kind. A young lady broke a nail polish on the floor and all the staff were so good to help her feel better about it and to clean it up quickly. The pedicure was great. Im glad they up-sold me to the deluxe with hot stone massage. Prices are very reasonable.

Horrible service, went there for my first fake nails experience and it turns out it took me like two hours to put the nails, and the guy who was doing my nails tell me in the middle of the service that it was his first putting fake nails!!...... so you can imagine how bad he did! He cut me and it was a painful not good experience!! So no I don’t recommend this place!!So since then I haven’t got any nails service!They need to improve their customer service as well be more nice with people be more welcoming!! you feel like you asking for a favor and you’re not gonna pay and they’re doing the the service for free that’s how they make you feel! Hopefully they get better.

EDIT: I blindly gave them 5/5 plus a nice comment right after my manicure. Only two days later, the shine on my nails faded, became dull, and one nail was cracked then later chipped off. I tipped generously because they were friendly. However, I will never be going back to this place, not even to fix what they messed up. Also, I discourage anyone from going here.

Ya-Ya was very friendly, offered me a drink, stayed 30 minutes after close to help me remove my acrylic from a previous salon. Very great experience 😊

Clean and well organized in the shop. Everyone was friendly.However I got a dip manicure on Tuesday and noticed a bit of the color rubbing off of the tips of my nails by early Thursday morning. By Friday afternoon my dip powder (which usually lasts me 3 to 4 weeks) was cracking from at least 4 of my nails. I will have to go back and have the issue fixed.Update: I did stop in on Saturday. They were more than happy about fixing my nails for me. The young woman also redippes my unaffected nails and completely redid the ones that had chipped away. I mentioned I had never had this type of issue with the dip in the past but the young woman said that she was also unsure as to why they chipped - she suggested she had done a bad job but overall she did a good job. I had no complaints during the manicure it was only after that I had the issues.I have raised the rating by one star for their kindness and promptness in fixing the issue for free but I cannot give full stars because I was cut multiple times. While I’ve never used a nail machine myself I can’t say how easy it is to control the tip but at least 3 of my fingers were cut and bleeding and one is sore after the fact.Overall I’m sure this salon does a fine job but I don’t believe I will be returning.

This place was fast and did a pretty decent job. But we did have some down sides of our experience. I got cut bad in the finger and my mom felt a little uncomfortable at points. But overall this is place is a good nail salon!

Okay so I had the worst ingrown toenail like it hurt to walk and it was just just the worst pain I have ever felt. I came in and asked if they could fix it and they said yes. They fixed it easily and with as little pain as possible! The pedicure was awesome and they were so nice and made you feel at home! I’ve tried many places in IC and Coralville but honestly, they cut my nails wrong and then I suffer but not here.

Terrible service ! I showed a picture of French tip thinking I was going to get the powder . She started to paint the white polish on which I didnt want and I let her know that and she says that I should have said pink and white . Also she said that she would have to take off my whole nail and and start over and I said that was fine . Then she proceeds to say her mother does not feel like doing all of that . So I left and I will never be coming back again .

Got a dip and several of my nails had to have tips put on. A week and 3 days later, and three of them have fallen off and the others are obviously loose from my nails. The job was pretty sloppy but didnt notice that in the store

This was literally the worst dip powder application i’ve ever had. They were extremely tough on my nails, and burned & cut me with the drill. My nails are bumpy and have air bubbles in them. You can also see all the white powder on my RED nails! Awful job, extremely unhappy that i spent $45 on this!
