Terrible Experience - I went to get gel polish removed. She did not buff my nails after scraping off the gel and still charged me $5. And she didnt even get all the gel off? Just horrible customer service - there are a lot better places around the corner.

Got a dip manicure on Saturday 11/09, and two of my nails were chipped by Tuesday 11/12. Four more of my nails were chipped by Thursday 11/14 and by the Saturday following my manicure the only nails not chipped were my thumb nails. Not sure if it is the quality of the dip they use or some other reasons, but I absolutely will not go back for a manicure that costs almost $50 and doesnt even last three days.

I have gone here multiple times and its great every time! My gel manicures last at least 2 weeks (most of the time 3 weeks) and they always look good. The staff is friendly. The space is clean and spaced out and the prices are fair. I highly recommend!

Excellent manicure, short wait despite being very busy, clean, reasonably priced. Manicurist asked if I liked shape and color for both fingers and toes, very nice gesture. Will be back!!

The service to inconsistent; My Dip Manicure painfully started breaking off after just 5 days and it’s supposed to last 3+ weeks!

Went for a gel manicure 2 days ago, already have a chipped nail. They also soaked my hands in acetone to remove the previous nail color and well... I definitely will not be back.

Usually, after a dip manicure, my nails last 2-3 weeks and only need to be re-done due to growth. After I had my nails done here, they did not even last 24 hours before chipping. Staff wasnt very friendly.

This was probably the worst manicure I’ve ever received. The lady was very rough and I was in pain the majority of the time. Most of my nails were crooked and when I asked her to fix it she made it even worse so I just left it. Lastly the polish was extremely bumpy. I will not be coming back here.

I love my gel nails by wee she took her time and didnt give me a rush job.

I dont think Ive ever had a gel manicure last so long! I live around the corner and was looking for a new nail spot since my go to had closed down. I was welcomed in and enjoyed the entire experience. Happy to say Ive found my new go to!

I went on January 2 for a manicure. The nail tech asked if I wanted the nails rounded and I said yes. She immediately clipped all ten nails, and all but two were clipped too short into the nail bed. Because of this my hands are in constant pain from my nail beds being exposed. I went in the following day and the manager said she would take a look after she finished the manicure she was working on. As I was waiting another tech came over, saw my nails, did not notice that they had been cut too short although I had showed her twice, and accused me of botching my own manicure. I ended up requesting a refund because repairing my nails would not have helped the sensitivity of the exposed nail beds, and the employees acted like I was robbing them. They shortchanged me on the refund but it doesnt matter because I am not going back.

I’ve never been so annoyed, pissed, and upset while getting my nails done in my life. It took 4 tries for the technician to get the nail polish color I chose from the color nail wheel options they made and NUMBERED. But even then she still couldn’t get the color right. I showed her how I wanted just a little trim on my finger nails, but she cut them super short, and uneven anyways. I had to ask several times for her to file my nails correctly so they were even and rounded, but she couldn’t do that either. I had to ask her for the nail file and do it myself, when painting my nails they were very see-through and I literally had to ask 3 times upset for her to do two more coats of polish, and my nails are still messy. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! There are other salons in the area who do an amazing job for a better price!!! I’m so upset my normal salon was closed today. My nails look ugly and I have to present and greet people with them at a national conference all week! Now I have to go get them done over again in a different state. WOW. Never recommending this place, I showed my friends, and they won’t be coming back either. RIDICULOUS!!

The place is decent or better yet said hit or miss. Somedays the technicians are pleasant but never overly friendly. When they are busy, they will flat out say no to you when you asked if they can refill your nails. I have been to many salons in Boston, and that was the first time I was denied service. I will be going to another salon downtown next time.

I always get a pedicure and eyebrow wax. Service wise theyre good and the price is right. The problem is whenever i get my eyebrows waxed, they comment negatively on my body hair. The most common is you want a lip wax too? It makes me feel bad and thats not ok.

Its a hidden gem. I live in the red brick tenement off Lomasney and walk past this place every time when I go take the T. I went early, around 10am, on a Wednesday and was seated right away. Wee was fantastic. She was extremely careful and detailed. I went in for a typical fill and a color and came out so happy. I recommend this place!

This place was around the corner from my hotel and I literally stumbled in for a gel manicure without an appointment. I was seated right away with Hannah and she did a phenomenal job on my nails. All employees I interacted with were friendly and accommodating and the salon is impeccably clean and spacious. They have a huge selection of CND shellac colors to choose from (in my experience Ive found that brand to be the fastest drying and longest lasting) and the gel manicure cost $30, which may be slightly higher than average but I think fair for a city like Boston. Hannah was fast but thorough and I ended up with a gorgeous manicure but was disappointed that they only accept cash tips as I didnt have as much on me as I wouldve liked to give her. If youre in this neighborhood I would highly recommend Amys for your next manicure!

Amys Nail is a salon with new amenities. I followed Wee the manicurist from her previous place of employment. I have been doing my nails with Wee for five years. She is meticulous and conscientious.All are friendly and inviting.

I have never left a review before, but this place is absolutely terrible. I went here for a pedicure and gel manicure. The pedicure was mediocre, but the woman did not listen to my request to not massage my feet, as I am super ticklish. My gel manicure was a NIGHTMARE. When she was cutting my cuticles, she first cut me on my left middle finger. This has happened before, where theres a dab of blood and then it stops. This one immediately started pouring blood. She proceeds to cut me just as badly on my right middle finger. She and I spent at least 30 minutes trying to get them to stop bleeding because that is how badly she had cut me. She then decided to paint my nails WHILE they were bleeding. She barely spoke any English so I couldnt communicate with her. They continued to bleed the entire time I was there. I was assuming they would give me a discount for this horror story. No, she gave me a used bottle of lotion instead. Both of my fingers continued to bleed for a MINIMUM of 4 hours. This was last week, and the cuts are still very visible. I guess I am just lucky neither of them got infected.DO NOT GO HERE.

Last week I went to this salon to get a simple fill of my acrylic nails. The girl who did them was obviously brand new but I didnt care at the time. What should have been a 30 minute Fill, it took her over an hour! Not only did it take forever but my nails were bumpy when they dried. It has been less than a week and two of my acrylic nails have already come off. I do not recommend this salon for any acrylic or gel nails. Im not sure about their pedicures but as of today, I highly recommend you go elsewhere

Just moved into the city and went to Amy Nails to get my nails done. My cuticles were never cut back and my dip manicure came out awful. Still cost be 45 dollars. Will not be returning.

I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new salon. Ive been twice, once for gel mani and another for a pedi, and went to Kay both times. She takes her time, my nails were perfection. The pedi was amazing, she gave my the best foot/calf massage. Its always quiet and relaxing when I go. Ill definitely been returning!

The worst nail salon I have ever visited in my life. The girl who attended me even cut my fingers because I complained that I did not like it. They were horrible. I was visiting from New York. And if I return I would never return to that place. The attention is lousy.
