Excellent experience; dont let the school part scare you away. Corey did an awesome job on his own, and even then the instructors have to sign off on everything and they come by to give small critiques. At least for myself, its a bonus to be in a place where good folks are sharing knowledge and practicing a craft. It was very interesting to observe how they teach each other and explain what theyre doing.

Seriously, I go here all the time! Such an awesome barber school to go and get a haircut from. The students are all fairly experienced at cutting hair and providing straight razor shaves. They can do fades and razor cuts as well as traditional mens cuts. The price is great too! 7 bucks and you are able to get yourself looking good! Well, should also tip, they are students after all! Definitely stop by if your hair is getting a little shaggy and you want it cleaned up!

Had some success getting a cut here with a kid named Rodrigo. Then, two consecutive appointments with him were changed after I get there, then they pawn me off on another student. I personally didn’t walk away happy after those two cuts.I just tried making another appt ahead of time; called 30 minutes before to confirm, stating this has happened to me before. I arrive only for them to tell me he can’t cut.The place is unprofessional. They aren’t teaching them anything about honoring appointment commitments and developing a clientele that can count on them at all. Really frustrated because Rodrigo does a great job.If you take an appointment. Honor it. If someone can’t cut; put it in their schedule so appointments can’t be made; pretty basic stuff.

The messed up my waves one time man. But Hey? They show a lot of love when you walk in, and its some very skilled people in that shop just got to know who skilled and on the rise.

I survived a very uncomfortable and unskilled face shave the other day. this was once a very routine service and I wonder if it’s becoming a lost art. The barber should’ve touched my face to handle the terrain rather than have me move my face to help him. If they don’t teach shaving technique in barber school I hope the students are lucky enough to learn it on the job from a skilled barber.

Why do people complain about getting bad haircuts ? It’s a school, they will be mistakes !

I come here every 2 weeks to get a cut from Zarai and I always leave with a great cut. Great place if you want to save money. My fade and trim only comes out to $7! What a steal!
