Love this locally owned car wash in Ankeny! I don’t know what they use… but it even makes the inside of your car smell great. Free vacuums are a bonus!

I payed $18 for a premium car wash and it still wasnt clean. When I called, the worker informed me (after the fact) that the power wash was out. He had a really nasty attitude, and it was clear he didnt want to talk to me.Then, I was in the middle of vacuuming my car when the same worker shut off the vacuums. He did this because it was 6pm and they close at 6pm. However, he again, never informed me or the other customer and thought hed best handle the situation by just shutting off the machines. When we asked about the machines being shut off he shot back a VERY nasty response stating theyre closed. While I understand places closing, it really is common courtesy to let the customer finish vacuuming, or at the very least inform them that machines will be turned off at exactly 6pm. He had other work he was doing (taking out the trash, cleaning etc.) So it wouldnt have extended his work day at all by letting us finish.At the core, he was very rude. I can get a $18 carwash several other places in the area, and will not be back. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR BUSINESS.

I love this place. I have a monthly membership. I will say it really depends which employee is starting your car washing experience. Some are better than others.I went to Mason City Saturday to visit family graves. I think every bug died on my windshield. Seeing out of it was hard.When I went to Shine shop late in the day. The employee took his time spraying the front of my car and both sides. He also put extra bug stuff on the windshield.Incredible. After the wash it was like my car was brand new again. Please come to Altoona. I drive to Ankeny just for Shine shop.

Bought the swanky club membership online. Went to use it and try to activate it on site. The attendant couldnt figure it out and asked me to come back later when someone else was in. The attendant had to have people back up so I could pull out and leave. Found it very inconvenient and a little embarrassing since people had to back up to let me out. I will go in later and ask for this membership to be canceled and refunded. Then Ill take my business to another car wash.

Best car wash in town. Dont waste your money somewhere else. Staff is great, facilities are very clean and state of the art.

First time using this car wash. It washed the vehicle very well but it ripped my front license plate and mount off breaking the mount. This is a brand new truck only a few months old and I asked the guy working if they would replace it. The answer I got is no if it broke off it was already about to fall off. I asked to speak to a manager and they took my info and never responded. I have called back twice now and they tell me they are working the issue but never get a response back. Very unprofessional!

Great place but system is always breaking and they are closed a forth of the time. seems like . Very hard to use a membership when you have to come back a few times and its still closed . . Other than that its a nice place!

Great customer service and Great Wash! The vacuums are free with your car wash and do a great job. If I lived in Ankeny I would be a regular.

Omg best vacuums ever! Got unlimited of top package first try and tbh ill plry keep it regardless of how much i need to wash my car, just for the vacuum power lol i have a german shepherd and its shedding season for the dude, and it did so well on removing his hair and dirt from him from carpets and seats nooks and crannies

For 15.00 I would expect my car to come out clean. Huge disappointment.

Joined with a promo for unlimited washes. Even at $30 a month this pays for itself as a good carwash is anywhere from $12-$16. With this you could literally get a car wash every day for a dollar a day. Completely worth it. Only thing to think about is that canceling your membership requires you cancel in writing 7 days in advance. Otherwise i cant think of a reason NOT to use them. And the vacuums are awesome.

My new favorite place. Joined the unlimited with a promo they had. So much better than Mister Car Wash.

Everything was half off on labor day. Vacuums were super strong. Receipt didnt print but did not want one anyways.
