I’ve been a customer here for years since they moved to the new building, I’ve been trying to get seen at this location for 2 months now & they have not been having any availability what so ever. The staff is super nice but I even called a week prior to make an appointment & apparently it was a waiting list so not a appointment. I guess you need to book a month prior if you want to be seen walk ins are an 3 hour wait anytime I try to walk in. I’ve been trying to a be a loyal customer however these guys are making it extremely hard & keep turning me away. If you want services here you gotta schedule a month in advance. Their work is great & employees are nice. Waiting & trying to get squeezed in somewhere is the issue.

Tina is such an amazing artist. I also leave with wonderful designs that hold up for weeks!

First visit to this salon after many many failed attempts to find a new nail tech since we moved to the area. I finally found her!! Ivy did an amazing job on my nails. The one complaint I have is this salon doesnt offer the dip powder top coat BUT once I told Ivy I am allergic to the gel top coats she asked the owner to purchase it for my next visit! I am beyond excited that there is hope that I found my new place! Ivy was very focused on the details of making my nails look great, she was very gentle with me throughout the entire service and she finished with a hand massage which doesnt exist anywhere anymore! Thank you Ivy. I will see you in a few weeks!

Such a beautiful nail salon! It is a large and airy place, with lots of seats. My nail artist was a sweetheart and she did excellent work!!! I will be coming back next time Im in town. 😊

This place is beautiful, clean, professional, and very respectful. Most, if not all nail techs, take your jacket, pull your seat out for you, and give you water. They are also very accommodating. I will never go to another nail as they’ve done my money justice. My nail tech has been Loan since day one.

Went in for a pedicure and was not disappointed. They had a lot of colors to choose from and the place was very clean and organized. The lady who did my nails was so sweet and gentle. I will be going back again!

I am absolutely floored that there are negative reviews on here. I will age myself with this, but I have been getting my nails done by Tam for over a decade. Yes, you read that correct. I have NEVER in my time going to Tam Nails and previously Kim’s Nails had any issues. I always left with the most beautiful nails and toes. Tam and her team are always up to speed on all the newest trends and the color selection is endless. I feel like family every time I walk in there. And damn, they have the hottest receptionist!!

I give this place more than five stars. My nails are always perfect. Just had my eyebrows microbladed. Absolutely love them. The service is amazing. The place is very classy and clean.

I went there for the first time today and was completely satisfied with victors work! He took his time with every detail, and gave me exactly what I wanted! I highly recommend Tam Nail Salon.. The owner Tam is very professional and kind. Her salon is kept clean and is very relaxing. She is a Master at nail art. She never fails to deliver beautiful quality work.

They take their time when working on your nails everyone is so happy and friendly. My nails always lifted when I went to a different salon. But since switching to Tam Nails & Spa I never had a nail lift I was even able to go 5 weeks and no lifting. Awesome amazing place definitely should come here.

First two visits went pretty smooth minus a few cuts apple and ni did a good job was super excited. Last set I had put on apple did was beautiful but my gems fell of in the first couple days. I called to get them fixed went in and was helped by another girl (apples day off) who did not put the same gems on as I had! She did not listen to me I asked to have my other gems reinforced so I wouldnt have the same issue. She didnt! I called the owner she wouldnt take my call! completely unprofessional front desk / manager. I do work in a salon and the blamed my for washing my hands to much! My first set lasted weeks no issues! This set Ive lost 7 gems in less than a week! I understand things happen but I will not be back due unprofessionalism.

I love coming here. Ne does a great job. Except the sign on the door says mask are required. Everyone wore a mask except the girl at the front desk. She wore hers under her chin. Disappointed that she wasn’t following the rules

The owner spoke to another worker I dont know what was said but he looked at me and walked away. He definitely gave me the cold shoulder. She then spoke to another worker who promptly came to assist me. These are the results. He took way too much off the top but he thought they looked good. Im sure others assumed Im wanted a free service so I just wanted to clear that up.

The salon is beautiful!! Very, very nice upgrade from across the street! I had to go there in a pinch today. And for the same reason I left, I will not return. Their customer service is less (way less) than satisfactory. The receptionist was very pleasant and accommodating to the customer in front of me, but she did not reciprocate the same service when I was checking in. I simply wanted the acrylic removed from my nails and when I told her, she huffed and said, you just want your nails off?!She then told me I could follow her in a tone so low I could barely hear... And walked off.The nail tech who serviced me and the tech who sat beside him was pleasant.Their prices are still very nice, but for decent customer service, I choose to pay a little more.

Just a little too pricey and charges extra for a lot

Brought my daughter in to have a shoddy job by a different salon fixed. We were immediately greeted by a lovely receptionist named Tomi, who was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The tech, Apple, did a beautiful job, and seemed to really know what she was doing. She explained what the previous salon did wrong, gave us advice on what my daughter should do next, and gave us a very good price for the repair. We will definitely be going to Tam from now on!

Did a walk in my first time. Wasnt bad. For a pedicure I recommend Brittany shes amazing. Two 🌟s because every time after that they were full although walk-ins are welcomed, a lot of good that does me😒 I dont always have a schedule that allows me to make appointments so it was very frustrating. So I go to VIP nails now they do a great job. All thats missing is Brittany with her exceptional pedicures:(

I went in today to get a pedicure and the guy did that did my feet did a bad job! He didn’t completely get off the the gel polish off my toes and missed some spots of my toe nails! My feet aren’t smooth like they are suppose to be l payed 45 for nothing! Waste of my money! Never will come here again!!!!

First time there and was shocked to see how upscale it is. Got a pedicure and am very pleased. Nails look good and tech spent extra time on my heels to get them soft. This will be my regular place from now on.

I have been going here for two years now, and I have never been disappointed. I am only a teenager but have never been treated any less than the adult customers. The new place is absolutely beautiful, and today I got my first pedicure. With fresh fruit, water, and amazing customer service, I was in love with the treatment I received. I’ve had acrylic nails for 14 years. I’ve never had a tech screw up shape (coffin) so badly. I’ve also never had gel polish just PEEL off. The only positive review I can give is that the first time the polish peeled off (7 hours after leaving) they fixed it when I called to complain. My acrylics normally last 2.5-4 weeks between refills.... these lasted less than two weeks. For the first time in 5 years there is no acrylic on my fingers because every nail broke off. Hope I can save someone the same awful experience I had!

The place is nice but they dont know how to do nails

My mother in law took me here for a full set and pedicure for my birthday and it was an overall positive experience. The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was friendly despite being crazy busy, but I wasn’t very satisfied with my acrylics. My nails were lumpy, uneven, and really thick. I’ve had acrylics before so I get that they are thick, but I mean they were REALLY thick, especially on the sides of my nails. They weren’t curved, they were thin in the middle and thick on the sides so they were just flat. I ended up taking them off after a week and a half and decided to just nurse my natural nails back to health

Robyn fixed and redid my nails after an unfortunate experience at another nail salon. The salon was clean and inviting. Definately enjoyed my service and my nails look gorgeous. Definately will be back.

Owner is extremely rude. My daughter and I was there at about 10:45 am to get our eyebrows done. The owner Tam did my daughters eyebrows, walked out the room before even letting my daughter check her eyebrows or doing my eyebrows. I go to the desk and tell the dark haired woman with glasses that Tam left without doing my eyebrows and she just looked at me. I paid for my daughters services and left. I have never been treated this way at any nail shop. I will not be returning there for any services. I will spend my money elsewhere since the owner has no client how to deal with paying customers.

Just went in for a pedicure and right as I was walking in I was stopped and told they don’t allow strollers I wanted to take advantage since my son was sleeping to get my nails done! Its a shame I’ve heard what a great place this is but they won’t be get my money anytime soon!

Bad customer service. Please tell your receptionist to do her job. I work in a salon and thats NOT how you treat customers. Girl, get it together. The nail tech was drilling into my cuticles and skin. It hurt! NO, thats not what you do... cmon man. Mediocre service for the expensive price. Updated:The techs will give you an attitude if you correct their work or if you share what you dont like about your nails. Ive been a customer for about 4 months. The first tech I had (Lajuan) started out doing a very good job until she got comfortable with me being a regular, she then became sloppy. When I mentioned to her my nails needed more acrylic on the sides for support, she hastily answered me by saying, Ok Ok I fix for you. As if I was annoying her. After my last visit with her I asked for a new tech.Today is my second visit with the new tech (Victor) and he gives me temperament because I told him my nails were lifting and to please add a little glue so that I wouldnt have to come back like last time and be charged a extra $5 for something that could have been fixed while I am already here. He did it, but acted as if he didnt want to.After spending $100+ each visit and being treated as if Oh well, if you dont like it too bad.I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!In short .. decor is nice, Sam, Brittany, and Apple are all very sweet. Just pay close attention to detail and if you dont like something do not allow them to just blow it off or ignore your requests.

Service was awful, I realize that pricing is cheap depending on what your getting. I got a full set of acrylic nails and I swear not one nail the same size or shape. The receptionist was unpleasant and low key petty. The lady who cut my nails ended up making them crooked, halfway through I was switched over to another worker and he wasn’t much better, he was very sloppy. One of the other workers who was doing my friends nails (she just came in for maintenance on her acrylic nails) tried to remove the acrylic with acetone, she was visibly inexperienced. Would not recommend.I hope it was just the workers that we got since we were walk ins and did not have appointments, some workers seemed better than others.

When I walked in I showed themWhat I wanted as far as design and asked if they can do this for me. They said yes and assigned me to a tech. The tech was really nice but didn’t know what she was doing my acrylic was lumpy and the shape was off all my nails were a different shape. When she was done she told me I would have to wait 30 minutes for my design to be done. When I explained my dissatisfaction and asked why I was being told 40 minutes later that I would have to wait for a different tech to do my designs. They just said because there was no one available and we’re not understanding why I was confused since I thought the tech I was assigned would be able to handle what I asked for as soon as I came through the door. When I explained my dissatisfaction They let me know they could try and fix my nails but no one would be able to do any designs because everyone is booked. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for nails and service I was not happy with and they did not care. I went to Allure nails who fixed the mess they made and had no problems doing the simple design I requested.

Ive loved this salon & owners, for years... And now its even better! With the newly upgraded location its so gorgeous and welcoming! Make an appointment & everything is perfect, every single time!!!

Drove from Balti.ore to have my nails done here again. They sculpted for me last year but now all of a sudden they do not do it anymore. Was of time. Then told me they never did my nails sculpted. I know where I came.

This salon is the best in York county. Ive been a customer for about 8 years now and I love their work they do. From their awesome customer service to their spectacular nail designs, this nail salon is the place to be. They are all very talented but most especially Tam is the best because she doesnt only do your nails with great designs, but she also will give me advice on the health of my nails. They care about their customers and thats what matters. I would recommend this nail salon to anyone looking to have quality manicure and pedicure. I always get compliments on my nails when I leave there. Keep up the great work KIM NAILS!

I love the new place very beautiful. I just got my eyebrows done and the lady rushed my eyebrows, wasn’t very friendly and didn’t make me feel welcomed.. for paying $8 all she did was “clean them up” even after I told her how I wanted them all she said was “that’s all I do” well if that’s all you do the price should be dropped. It’s almost $10 and I left with bushy eyebrows that looks clean. Not how I wanted them. Disappointed.

This is the 5th time i have been to the salon, I normally see Victor hes normally does good with my coffin shaped nails, I got asked to pay for the first time before my service was complete today. I was the only black person in the salon this morning, also the white chick that works there knows NOTHING ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, EXTREMELY RUDE, DOESNT KNOW HOW TO WAS, SHE WAXED MY CHEEK WHERE there wasnt any hair 😂😂😂, and now i have hives there. So I wont be going back and I didnt tip. Also I got a pedicure here a couple days ago from the dude with the long hair, he was nice but he didnt listen to how I wanted my feet. So if your not an established customer stay away from this place, its very cliquish and that white girl has no customer service. So I will definitely be going else where.

I was extremely unimpressed with this nail salon. I went here to get a full set for my senior prom. The woman who did my nails seemed like she honestly couldnt care less about me or my nails. She was on the phone using a Bluetooth neckband the entire time she was doing my nails. She was incredibly rough with me, yanking my fingers all over the place, filing harshly, and practically ripping my skin away from where it was in the way of her filing. The polish job she did was quick and lazy. And along with all that, when I showed her the picture of what I wanted on my nails, she seemed annoyed. In fact, she seemed annoyed any time I spoke to her. She also got frustrated with me if I couldnt understand what she was saying during the few times she actually spoke to me, but I dont know how she could expect me to hear her when the salon was loud and she was wearing a thick fabric mask with paper towel inside it over her mouth. Altogether a disappointing experience, definitely the worst of my (admittedly few) times in a nail salon.

Came here this week for a gel manicure and the tech was amazing. They complete my manicure flawless and my nails look fantastic.

1. BAD customer service!!2. UNCOMFORTABLE vibe. I went with a friend and we both said the same thing, even though she goes here regularly.3. They charge extra for EVERYTHING, literally. She told me AFTER she cut my nails (coffin) it was an extra $3, never heard that and always get my nails cut like this and $5 for matte top coat, it cost the same. For the price I paid here For a full set and regular paint I can go to Star nails and get a full set with gel paint and much better customer service!!4. VERY sloppy and quick with how they do your nail. Its almost like they rushed to get us out so they could go home. The lady cut my friends nails and well it was too late! She put her nail on crooked and told her it was her finger... lol!!I gave them one star because I like way my overall nail shape looks.

Was the worst nail experience ever. Didnt get what I asked for. I asked multiple times while I was there. The lady didnt understand what I was asking for. All I wanted was shorter nails. Thought they looked fine but the next two days after, my nails are back to being just as long as when I went in. They wouldnt do anything for me while I was there and they still wont do anything. Ive called and asked for a refund and the woman hung up on me. Im never going back and I wouldnt reccomend them to anyone, that at all!

I went for the grand opening in the middle of the week on a Wednesday. The place is beautiful but i was greeted told to pick a polish and take a seat someone would be with me shortly. I was the ONLY CUSTOMER waiting for service. After being very patient for 45 minutes and seeing 2 customers come in after me and get serviced immediately i initially thought to myself perhaps these women had scheduled appointments. I asked the receptionist and he said I DONT KNOW, IM NOT SURE, I GUESS SO.I Immediately let him know how dissatisfied i was with his response and felt disrespected and ignored. I had been going to Tams regularly and the nails were ok but sometimes my nails would come out looking sloppy. I think they need to train their staff better honestly because some of the nail techs there aren’t that good. They also don’t listen very well when you explain to them what you want. But what set me off was about a week ago I made an appointment for 2 pm to get my nails done. They were extremelybusy but I didn’t think it would effect me because I made an APPOINTMENT. I had to wait to even START getting my nails done until 3:30. When I finally said something the receptionist said it was because of homecoming, lol like I care??? I didn’t get to leave until almost 5 which was extremely aggravating considering the fact that I made an appointment. WDefinitely won’t be going back & the nails aren’t even that good to have to wait that long. One good thing I can say is that the set up is nice. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME THERE, there are plenty of cheaper & BETTER nail salons in York.

When I called to set up an appointment I asked for a full set . So when I got there the man that took me thought I was doing a manicure. I didn’t realize that he was doing until after he just cut a little of my cuticles . I told him no I wanted a full set. all he did was cut the skin around my nails. He got mad and told me to pay for it . I told him no that it wasn’t my fault I asked for a full set when I called . He wanted to charge me 5 $ on top of my full set . I said no and he became angry and told me I guess the owner was going to eat the cost . So he continues my nails and he’s banging everything and I asked if he was angry with me and he goes no I just want to get this over with . And I just looked at him . He goes you seem educated do you know the difference between a manicure and a full set, and honestly I don’t get manicures or acrylics that often and a pervious salon I’ve been to did the same with cutting the cuticles . I was really offended . As he doing my nails I noticed that they were uneven and when he painted them they had a line in them . I asked him to fixed them and I would say sorry for bothering him . He told me I say sorry too much . I just was really really really unsatisfied with my visit . And my friend gave them such high reviews . I doubt I would ever go back .

This used to be my favorite and only nail salon I would go to but the past Id say 3 or 4 times Ive went I havent been pleased. A few weeks ago I was out of town and my nails needed filled in, the nail salon I went to even mentioned how sloppy of a job the nails were done.

They took the woman who came in after me first, so signing in is useless. They dont do gel nails, just acrylic nails with gel polish or a manicure with gel polish. I asked for a full set of gel nails. They should have been honest about it from the jump.
