Visiting here in York and took my daughter and 4 yr old granddaughter for birthday Pedis. They were able to get us in on short notice, and all the toes look great! 😊 They took good care especially of my granddaughter, providing pillows and answering her endless questions! 😅 Thanks for a fun time together!

I went here a month ago to get my nails dipped and it took 3 hours but the quality was great so i didn’t complain. i went again a week ago and got them dipped again and it took almost 2 hours. not even four days later i have two nails that have broken completely off and three more that are close. he also tried to skip putting tips on some of my nails so none of them are the same length??? as well as bumpy. if i’m going to spend $45+ and 2 hours+ on myself it better last and this place just isn’t it. they aren’t consistent and they will charge you a different price every time

I have had 2 pedicures at this salon and they were both very good. However I then got a manicure with regular polish and came back because it had almost all chipped off within 24 hours. Upon returning to ask if they could fix it or even up charge it for gel, the woman informed me that even if it all chips off the second I leave, they will not fix it. But I want to pay for another polish it will be $20 to $25. I cannot say if Ill return, but I feel like others should know this policy.

I went to this salon today because I had someone tell me they did amazing work. I made an appointment for 4:30 and specifically asked for someone tang could do designs knowing I wanted one. I didn’t get helped until 5pm and it took 2 hours for the man to complete my nails. When I asked him to cut my nails down a bit because I needed them shorter for work he laughed at me. My nails are thick and bumpy. There was dip stuck under my nails and when I asked him to remove it he told me I was fine. I can see the edges of my nails and the layers of dip. The design I asked for was a line down the center of my nail and they are croaked and uneven. When I called to asked for a full refund or half a refund I was told I could come in and get my nails fixed. When I asked if I could come in at open and be helped they told me first coke first serve. I just wasted 2 hours in your business and the quality of work does not stand up to that. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We were standing at the door for about ten minutes and they payed no mind to us and/or cared to even ask what we wanted done. all we wanted was our eyebrows done, which would have taken overall less then all of the nails they were doing.

Go anywhere else. Called to make a reservation, showed up, and waited 35 minutes. The waiting sucked since we had an appointment, but the worst part was the countless flies and scalding water while waiting. No one checked on us. I understand being busy for walk ins, but appointments should not need to wait more than 15 minutes without any warning. We were about to leave, and two women finally started our nails. They were very polite, but my nails are just okay (lopsided cut, missed part of nail when painting. When we went to the dryer, they didnt actually turn the dryers on. We had to do this ourselves after we realized 10 minutes later. 3 spray bottles were empty, and when I got up to reach for one in another corner, there was a pile of dust and a dead fly underneath another empty bottle. How does this place have 3 stars? Please take appointments seriously or do not accept them.

I scheduled a appointment for a fill and eyelash extensions. My appointment was at 2pm. They took walk ins before me and had me waiting nearly a hour. When the nail tech finished my fill in she said, wash your hands your done. They did not apply lotion, nor a hand massage. This is the only salon I’ve ever been to that they didn’t do that! They completely ignored my appointment for my lashes. I was very upset with my overall e experience.

Very nice and friendly. My one complaint is that the one person was not focused on what he was doing and was talking to the other employee too much and kept pausing when he was talking

I have gone there multiple times over the last year and they are always amazing. This time I took my 5 year old daughter and we were taken care of with great care.

I like that they truly give you a massage with their services. Some places just dont. What I did not like is how crowded it is and the seating isnt staggered. Some had masks, some did not. Not comfortable in that type of environment right now. Extra precautions should be in place.

Awesome place for pedicures. They offer different pedicure packages. The priciest one ($45) includes all the standard pedicure things plus scrub, oil/hot stone massage, paraffin wax, some kind of menthol mask with hot towel wrap, and the massages last forever. Eyebrow waxing is $8 and they listened to my request, actually DID it, and they were symmetrical. Additionally, they have an ATM on site and if you need to use it theyll hand you a couple of dollars for the service fee. Oh yeah, and they serve wine.

This was my first visit. Vee was my technician. She gave me a fabulous pedicure! She was friendly, fast and efficient. Great massage skills too! Will go back next time Im in town.

My most recent visit was excellent. Manager was able to match my nail polish for a pedicure to a gel manicure polish perfectly. The service this day was provided by staff who has been there for years. I have been going to this salon for at least ten-15 years. Get eyebrows waxed here too. Name tags would be helpful to know who is providing service when making an appointment.

Went in to get my nails done for a wedding based upon the recommendation of a friend. The person who used the motorized buffer on my nails was too rough and you can see straight through to where it he went too thin on the nail. He cut three of my fingers to the point of bleeding. For it being a French tip design you can still see my original nail underneath and the design was the same on both hands vs a reflection of one another, not to mention there is gel nail polish on several of my fingers that I have no way of getting off without pure acetone. I was still charged full price and highly disappointed. I will never go back!

Hi. Im Tara. I came from Detroit, Michigan to get my nails done for the first time in 12 years. I came to Glamour Nails in York, over 6 weeks and three different nail technicians and was not happy. I called back to tell them just how unhappy I was. I had the most beautiful out-spirited woman answer and her name is Lee. She told me to come in for no charge and she would fix whatever was wrong. She work through my ingrown toenail. I have never had a problem in the last 5 months. It doesnt matter what time of day or how much notice I give her(even being tardy) she is always at her most perfected self.

This place is a joke, I called to make an appointment and was told I didn’t need one that I could walk in around 6:30 and they would take me. I showed up and well they told me they were busy to come back tomorrow. How unprofessional especially when I called in the morning and asked for an appointment and was then told I didn’t need one. This would’ve been my first time wolnt be back to even see how there services are.

I have been coming to this salon for years. I highly recommend Ly (pronounced Lee) they use top of the line products and do consistently great work. Prices are comparable to other nail salons.

My wife and her best friends toes and nails look great, but for everything after doing the math for all that was done it should of only been $60 for my wife and only $63 for her best friends and was charged $70 and $78. Pretty sure they gave themselves their own tips. That is not okay.

This is one of the worse places to go too. I made an appointment and they had me waiting over 30min. They did not even notice I walked in or asked what I needed done. When they finally did my pedicure, it was super fast, and unprofessional.

Obviously just showing up as a walk-in can be hit or miss at any nail salon, especially because everyone has a personal preference on how they like their nails done. Once you’re familiar with who you like, this place is the best! Ly is amazing!! Ce Ce is also really good and great at lashes/brows. I’ve never had a less than great pedicure from anyone here. And I don’t know why anyone has complained about gossip there. It’s a salon filled with women, that’s how it’s supposed to be! Also treat/tip your nail tech well and the treatment will be returned!

They close at 8:00 - I called at 7:10 and asked if they had time to do a gel manicure. They said “can you get here soon because we close soon” I said “yes within 10-15 minutes. I arrive at 7:20 stand at the entrance until 7:23 only to be told they had no one avail for a gel manicure.

I absolutely love this place. They are amazing with nails. This is the only shop Ive been to where my nails stay on for more then 2 weeks. This time its been a month. And my nails are still going strong. I have no idea what this shop does. But its pure magic.

I got a full set and pedicure and the pedicure came out perfect. My nails however, are mis-shapen, and the wrong length. I asked for a correction and was ignored. The lady was sweet but didnt seem in the mood to be there. She rushed everything.

I waited for over 30 mins with my feet soaked in water and they pretended like Im not there. They sat in pedicure chairs everyone who walked after me. Dont waste your time there, many nail salons which are much better than this one.

I went to get a pedi and get me acrylics removed just yesterday. When I first came in, I was not greeted. I sat down and waited to be addressed. I waited for about 35min. An employee by the name of Cece came up to me and was friendly. I told her I wanted my acrylics removed then a gel manicure and pedicure. She directed me to another lady that seemed to have limited English skills but, she did a great job. However, I told her the color I wanted but, a different color was put on my toes. I didn’t say anything because it was getting late and I felt bad asking to re-do the color. I then showed her the color I wanted for my nails but it was still a different color. The reason I leave this 3 star review is because the woman did a great job on my toes and nails. Although, when it was time to pay, my total came to $135!! Something really didn’t seem right. Also, I didn’t get the color I wanted. I would recommend this place because they have quality work but it is a bit pricey and you might not always get the color you want.

This is my one stop shop for nails, toes and lashes. Love the girls who work here. Of course like anyone Ive had broken nails and chipped gel. Theres never any issues for them to fix the problem. Also if you make an appointment for services it alleviates getting frustrated over wait time🙂

They do an excellent job on nails and eye brows. Also, had their spa pedicure and it was great. I would recommend finding a nail tech there that you like and keep going to the same person. A lady did my nails yesterday and she did a great job but I didn’t catch her name.

They can do nails but they talk about each other and their customers as well they also try to get you to give them cash because it saves them money. People be wise if you use the atm machine and it’s not your bank the machine and the bank charges you $3.00 each which is $6.00. They say I WILL GIVE YOU ONE DOLLAR IF YOU GET THE MONEY FROM THE ATM. they tried that on one customer but I explained to the young lady what would happen. There are to many places to go like Ruby Nails,Tracey nails and so on Also they keep changing the price. I stopped going there it’s just a gossip and a bunch of sad staff that work there

This is not worth the money you will pay. Got a pedicure and my nails chipped the next day. For $45 you’d be better off going to a spa and at least getting a nice experience.

Worst nail job EVER...not only did the lady file all my tips off she filed them till 2 of my fingers were cut and raw..terrible paint job... My nails looked better before I went in there..now I have sore fingers and no nails left..and was charged 10 dollars more then any nail places in surrounding area and the whole bad experience only took 20 minutes.. Never had such a rush job..would NEVER return or recommend..

I walked in and waited for 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge I was there. I was only there for a eye brow wax. After they finally acknowledged I was there they told me to have a seat. I waited another 10 min then they told me to walk back to the room. I waited another 10 min then decided to leave. Worst service

Have come here for years. Never had a bad experience. Very accomodating, polite, and take their time in doing each service.Pedicures and manicures arent something I do when on a time crunch or at the end of the day before closing. Always heard mixed reviews about this place but I just needed a white gel on my nails and toes before vacation... For what I paid there is NO reason that its not even a week later and all of my nails are peeling already on my hands AND feet 🙄😒😤... I actually had one chip the very next day!! Whats the point of paying extra for gel if its just going to come off so soon? Plus, my a few of my toe nails were shaped badly so I had to fix them with a nail filer once I left... Besides that, unless youre looking to catch a 24/7 soap opera about the workers lives than I suggest you go anywhere but here....Ive had better quality nails come from T&V downtown...

Glamour nail salon feels like a meat market. They rush you in and out the door and don’t care if you don’t like the service. Worse place in terms of customer service. They will mess your nails up and recharge you to fix. Give you a price and change it when it’s time to pay. Do yourself a favor and go else where.

Had Mani & Pedi. Water was super hot. I told her and she filled with cold water. My skin is very sensitive & her massage left many bruises on my legs. Same with hand massage, very painful. I spent $38 and left very unpleased.

Worst place and experience EVER! On June 25th 2017. One of the guys that work there, not sure if he is the owner or not but I sat and heard him disrespect an African American elderly lady in front her grand kids and everyone that was left in the shop. The lady was a little confused of what she wanted done. He was rushing her because it was closing time and she requested that he put more clear on her nails but he kept saying I already did. So she paid and stated she would not come back because she was not happy about his rudeness. So he told her to hurry up and get out dont come back and he even said to the lady, I should call the police on you and have you locked up. I had to turn around in my chair because I could not believe it! Call the POLICE for asking for more clear polish! I am so done with that place!!!!! I turned around in my chair and told him that was very rude of you to be treating this lady like this. He totally ignored me.

I’m usually not the type of person to leave a review on anything but I’m absolutely furious with this place. I’ve been coming here for YEARS but recently I’ve noticed my nails breaking way too often so I figured I just needed a new set. So about 3 weeks ago I got a brand new set and since then 4 of my nails have broken off!!! This is insane! They didn’t just break off the whole entire nail will just pop right off. Will not be coming back ever!

See steve or lee. they are awesome...pedicure game is good. wish would be alittle bite more detailed for the price.

I went to this salon for the first time two nights ago. The girl that did my nails was so friendly and made my nails look natural and cut them to exactly the way that I wanted them. She took her time and did the job right! I will definitely be returning to this salon.

Ok so the employees didn’t even greet my mom and I they just got straight to trying to make us get things we didn’t want, they were rude and were talking about us to other employees. The one guy I was with said if I messed up my nails I have to pay $15 to get them fixed, and he was trying to rush and didn’t take his time, I asked for coffin but they gave me square nails, Also the one guy was to busy talking and not watching what he was doing and cut me twice. but not only that I was talking to my mom in spanish and he tried to be all up in our business and my mom said nothing but right when she left he repeatedly asked me what she said, which was kind of annoying. They also tried to get my mom to get designs but she repeatedly told them no. When we were about to pay they told us that the full set for me was $28 and they added $5 because I chose coffin and that adds up to $33 but in the beginning they told us that it was $25 for a full set. So we complained about it and the one guy said i’ve been working here for 20 years but i don’t see how that has to do with the price of the full set. In my opinion i wouldn’t recommend going here.

Rushed job on my nails the paint job is horrible. They wanted to charge extra for everything. I went in for a fill in and i always get gel polished i wanted the glow in the dark gel they wanted to charge an extra $10 for it i was like on top of the price for the gel polish then i asked about a matte top coat thats an extra $5 just for a different top coat. Then i asked about a design on two nails he was like we do designs but i dont n the women who do is about to go home. So that means no design. Keep in mind when i left those same women who was supposedly going home was still there. Never again so taking my business elsewhere.

The one nail tech took money from my hand and laid change on the counter for me to pick up. Didnt say thank you or nothing. Shiesty business!
