I moved to this town about six months ago from NYC, and you know, the city has the best nail technicians. Well, I learned that there is greatness in many other places too! The staff here is super courteous, you can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in. The host is a sweetheart. Everyone working at the salon actually looks happy to be there,... even with the late comers. Thanks Selena and Sandra for making my daughter and I feel special and beautiful! Completely disappointed. I went there and received good service, and my nails were beautiful. Fast forward to wanting a refill. Given every excuse in the book as to why they aren’t able to service my nails. One excuse was they are too busy, looked pretty empty. I called over the phone early morning, the receptionist told me, once again they are too busy at 11am on Monday morning. I walk in person a week later, at this point my nails are in dire need as it’s been over 3 weeks. Once I walk in the receptionist doesn’t let me finish and tells me they are busy. I see people waiting around. I leave, call another time and still busy. So seems they are always busy. Won’t be returning. Doesn’t seem worth it, I felt like my money wasn’t welcomed and I was a nuisance for even attempting to get a refill.**overall if you have a special occasion and they make time for you, definitely get your nails done by them the one time. After the one time, good luck trying to go back.

I got my nails done on Wednesday, the next day my nail felt loose. I got them filled for a wedding on Friday. Today (Monday) 3 nails loose.. never going back to this place. It seems the same poor service no matter where I go. It’s all about the money but if you’re not doing good work, guess what.. you will not have repeat customers. Time to do my own nails and stop wasting my money on this nail salons!!!

I work for individuals with disabilities. I brought one of my ladies to get her nails done at this establishment and the women stated that it will be a half hour wait. We were willing to wait. Once she seen us looking at the “regular nail polish” she came up to us and said “oh you want regular polish the wait will be way longer because we don’t like using regular polish it takes to long” the women judged us as soon as we walked in the door and didn’t want to provide a service because we were just getting the basics and I guess not spending enough money. Poor customer service and I will never set foot back in this establishment!!!!

I came here to get my nails removed. I thought I was just going to sit there and let them soak for a few minutes but I got them removed right away then I got my nails polished😁

I used to come here all the time, and this will be the last. I came to get my eyebrows waxed. I tell the guy skinny and arched he says okay. When he shows me that he’s done. I tell him a little skinnierHe begins to argue with me on how that’s going to look ugly. I don’t come here for opinions. I come here to get services done to MY Liking. And he knew I was upset with my eyebrows. I won’t be back.

This place is great. They are clean and friendly and offer a wide variety of services. I have had several pedicures from them and have always been happy. They are a little on the higher end of the price scale, but definitely worth it.

I received a spa pedicure. When I got there the guy asked me if I wanted color or gel, I asked him what the price difference was. He did not tell me. When we got to the chair (which was great immediate service) he told me a spa pedicure was $40. I then got my eyebrows done (which was a good job). When I went to pay it was $70. They charged me $15 for the gel which was NEVER told to me. Quite mad over it.

This was my first time going to this salon. I was recommended by a friend and the reviews were good, my usual spa was booked up so I thought I would give it a try. My appointment was scheduled for 5pm I didnt get my pedicure started until 5:45. My manicure I feel was rushed and didnt look anything like what I asked for. I went back the next day due to a chipped shellac nail and I wasnt happy with the design as I paid $10 for it and it wasnt even close to what I asked for. I recieved a look from the man at the counter and an attitude from the tech saying I had to wait because she had other customers. I had no issues with waiting because my nails that I had just gotten done the day before had already chipped! I already waited 45 mins with an appointment so whats another half hour more? Here we are 5 days later and another nail has chipped. I will not be going back. Unprofessional and rushed poor quality for nails.

I have been going to OC Nails for two years and I have to say they are the most professional and courteous nail technicians I have ever dealt with. I had to get back on here and post again. I am not a social media person, but felt the need to address the fact that OC nails is the cleanest nail salon here in Middletown and everyone is a professional and works hard. The women who usually does my nails was off the day I went in and Glenna did my nails and feet and did a great job. She took her time, paid attention to detail and was very nice.Julie my favorite does my face and she is just wonderful. OC nails gets busy because they are that good! Have patience when you call, wait your turn dont give the staff a hard time, they are hard working people who are only trying to do thier job. I grauntee you will not be disappointed with the service just be patience.

I’ve been going here for over a year, never had a issue before until recently .. I’ve tried acrylic, dip powder & gel overlay none of them lasted at all recently & when i called basically was told it was my fault & i was due for a fill and to come but I refuse this time bc everytime i’ve made an appointment these past few time i’ve been there waiting 30+ mins just to be seen and get rushed out, the service has gone down recently, they all rush, have terrible time management & do not book properly I feel as if they just want to make the money and keep their day going.. Definitely will not be going back anymore.

So I was coming to this nail salon for months until I started getting choppy jobs and I had enough. I shouldn’t have to settle for nails I don’t like for the price that I’m paying. Gel manicures are supposed to look natural... I was getting the opposite. Thick and bumpy. Especially poor experiences from the guys. I never wanted to say no I don’t want to get my nails done from a specific person so I had to just go with it several times. Unfortunate because I really liked this salon. When I went to get a gel fill somewhere else the lady took a picture of my nails and asked who did this? I would never throw another business under the bus, but that goes to show you there is room for improvement.

First time and not a good experience. The young receptionist was a little rude, front desk is very important. The lady that did not understand after explaining several times what i wanted. Then she nicked me and I bled through out my manicure, till I left. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I will give them another try!

I keep seeing such great reviews about OC Nails on Facebook so I figured I would give the salon a try. This is my new go to place!! OC Nails is huge, super clean, the lady who did my nails was super friendly and I love the fact that I showed her a picture of a color on my phone and she knew exactly what color it was. I will definitely be back.

I tried to book an appointment here for four manicures for an upcoming wedding and was told that I couldnt make appointments for regular manicures. Their website even says that you can call and make appointment for groups and doesnt say anything about it being only limited services. Not a big deal but the lady on the phone was so rude about it. She acted like I was ridiculous for thinking I could make an appointment for regular manicures.

I started going to OC nail and spa back in August and I have not been disappointed! The staff is very welcoming, every time I go I am greeted as soon as I walk in! The establishment is very clean, everyone is wearing a mask and they are wiping down the chairs in between customers. Pisey does my nails and she is AMAZING! My nails never break or lift and I go every three weeks for a fill. Their prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend this establishment if you are looking to utilize any of their services.

Walked in and was seated right away. The lady I had did exactly what I wanted. I was in and out. It was very clean, no one was seated right next to me and plexiglass was in place. They followed social distancing and the salon was very spacious.

Went for a fill and it was terrible. Girl with short hair didn’t even do the design I showed her. She just left them white. Not to mention, the nails are thick looking and bumpy. The shape is terrible from the acrylic and the filing. They’re good otherwise. If you go here and they give you the girl with short hair ask someone else.

It is wonderful getting my nails and toes done at OC Nails. Everyone there is a pleasure to deal with and the place is so clean. They have also put in place numerous recommended Covid precautions. Selena does an amazing job with my pink and whites and my pedis are always relaxing and come out perfect.

Let me just start off by saying that I absolutely love this place! After a botched set of acrylics from my previous nail spot, I was on the search for yet another place that could not only do my nails correctly, but also do them at an affordable price. I found my answer at OC Nail & Spa! After previously trying my luck at two of Middletowns popular nail spots and having no success, I decided to turn to Google for help. I had noticed that OC Nail had a 4.8 star rating, and so took the plunge. I couldnt be happier with my decision to do so! I had called and made an appointment, as they recommend you do so on their website. I walked in around 10 minutes early and was immediately seated at my nail techs station. As it was my first time going here, I didnt have a preferred technician, and so I was seated with Kody. He is very professional and great at what he does! He was very meticulous with each process he did to my nails. One thing that surprised me was how gentle he was when removing my previously botched set of acrylics. At both places I had previously gone to the nail technicians practically rip my nails off, causing me extreme pain and discomfort. Because of this, I oftentimes dread getting my nails redone, as the process has always been painful with me. That was not the case with Kody! He always made sure to ask if I was experiencing any pain, and took his time with removing my nails. The process was painless! I was left feeling more comfortable and relaxed, which is always a plus. Not only that, but Kody is very polite and great at conversation. He got a kick out of my eyeliner! To make matters even better, the place and equipment was extremely clean and well organized. The layout provides a spacious and open establishment, unlike some congested nail salons that I have previously been to. Along with this, it is surprisingly quiet in there. The drills are not loud at all, and they play great music at a reasonable volume. It really creates a relaxing atmosphere. I really hope this place gets the popularity it deserves! I will definitely be returning in the future.EDIT: I attached pictures of my nails that were done earlier today. I spent $55 in total for a full set of acrylics with color plus tip. They quoted me $30 over the phone, but I was informed that the price increased with color, length, shape, etc. I like my nails really long and coffin shaped, so I thought the price was fair. Usually I dont pay for color and just opt to do it myself to save money, but after seeing the amazing job Kody did, I decided to get them in black. My nails turned out a bit on the thicker side, but they tend to last longer that way, so I have no complaints! Thank you Kody!

I went to get a acrylic fill, and I do say there fast but the outcome is terrible, I got a simple color Bc it was my first time there and they didnt shape the nails to how I want them when I asked the guy said its too late, I knew it wasnt late he was just rushing to hurry up and get to the next customer, they didnt do my cuticles so everything was left messy and globs on nail polish that I had to file off when I got home. All around my cuticle the gel polish is lifting off and its been only 3 days! I do not recommend they are not professional nails techs! A real nail tech doesnt take 30 mins to do a fil nor do they make your nails look sloppy!

I went to get a powder dip for the first time today. I initially had gel nails on so the technican had to remove the gel first. The technician accidently cut my nail bed (left thumb) in the middle of the nail and it bled quite a bit. The technican was so apologetic and cleaned the wound. The technican was very gentle during the rest of the visit. Despite the large cut on my nail bed which was very painful (still is) I will go again because I understand that accidents happen. The service was fast Professional and very clean.

The best of the best!! The hardest working crew you will ever meet!! Not to mention the most talented!! They have done the craziest nail designs on me and never once have told me no, that they couldn’t do it. They have always exceeded my expectations.The salon is the nicest around. The salon is extremely clean and beautiful, also were everyone that works there is really kind and helpful. So I came in to get a full set and a pedicure. The pedicure was beautiful but the full set looked uneven. I called and told them and they were so kind and extremely helpful, they told me I could come in immediately to get it fixed, free of charge. The end result was beautiful. Since it will not let me respond back to my last post I will continue with my response. I posted a screen shot of your website where you claim I should have looked at the prices. Under spa pedicure there is not mention of gel polish being an addition $15. Also, under manicure the gel difference is $10 not $15. Which there should be no need for me to look under manicure if I am getting a pedicure. IN ADDITION: there is no notification on your website that there is an additional charge for using a credit/debit card. So maybe when you ask people to look at your website for prices, it should be updated with all your addition nonsense fees.

It was my first time going to this nail salon. The place is so clean and beautiful and the staff are very nice. Price is affordable as well and plenty of parking. You also dont need an appointment but can schedule one if you like. That is what I did, I scheduled an appointment and they took me exactly at my scheduled time. I got a full for gel acrylic done...it was my favorite set when I walked in and my least favorite when I walked out .the worse fill I ever received I have nails that are different lengths the acrylic is bumpy There is dust in the acrylic.. each nail has a different thickens and I asked for the same nails I went in with no color change just a fill in

Salon is big and clean, but it seemed like they made too many appointments in one day. my nails are bumpy and has some powder in the polish, my moms nails are just plane horrible. cant even get them fixed properly without workers rushing because of how many people are also waiting to get their nails done. we also made an appointment, but people were taken before us and we were told they had appointments, but ours were made before theirs?

We had no problem with the quality of the work, however, the customer service was absolutely awful. I got powder dip done and the color that I chose (a blue color) was NOT what I received (a dark gray, almost black). Most likely, the palate color was improperly labeled, which I understand happens. To be clear, my technician was tipped well.When my technician and I brought it to the attention of management I received the worst possible customer service. All I asked for was some level of compensation, or a gift certificate to get them redone later in the week as I did not have the time today to sit down and get them redone. The owner did not look me in the eye and meddled around saying that all she could do for me because of their policy was give me a $5 gift certificate to come back, or have me redo them on the spot. I emphasized to her that I did not have the time and I could come later in the week but she would not budge saying I cant do that. I cant do that.The two managers present today were extremely rude given this circumstance and asked me well do you like the color? Does it even matter if its not what I asked for?***On top of all of this they charge a 3.95% service charge for anyone who wants to use a credit/debit card.***I will never come back here and I will never recommend it. Terrible business ownership.

What a great salon! The owner and her staff are warm and friendly. They all do great nails and the pedis are fantastic. Bring in a pic of a design you want and that is what you will get. The salon is pretty and clean. This is my new spot! Love it!

I went to OC Nail and Spa earlier today, the man that was doing my nails was rushing, and not only left air bubbles but as soon as I left the salon my nail polish began chipping. Which should not have happened considering I paid for a gel manicure. I love the salon, however the service this time around was atrocious. As soon as he completed me, he rushed me out of the chair so he could get to his next customer. My nails look terrible. Plus I asked for a square shape and they are misshapen and rough. Truly disappointed considering that OC was highly recommended.

Very relaxing. My gel French came out beautiful and my pedicure was long and meticulous. This is exactly what Orange County needed!

I went to OC Nails for a powder dip manicure and could not be happier. The salon is beautiful and clean and has a relaxed environment. The service was wonderful. My nails look great. I will definitely go back. I have been to several different places in the Middletown area and this is definitely the best. The atmosphere and quality of work surpasses anywhere I have been both up here or in the city. I cannot recommend them enough.

Made an appointment for 4pm. I understand this is new for them to make an appointment but I feel that they overbooked themselves. I waited 45 mins for my appointment. When you come I. They do t even ask your name when you tell them you made an appointment. I selected a color for my gel manicure and pedicure and the colors didnt even match at that point I was already fed up to even have them change it. To put the icing on the cake they tell me there is a 3% fee if you pay with a credit card or if you pay cash there is a 3% discount fee. I asked is this new bc before the shut down I have always paid with my card and never got charged extra. They claim this happened before the shutdown. Some places are charging a covid19 fee I wonder if this is what OC nails is doing? I never had a problem with this place before but I will not be returning.

The worst experience on my nails, they do not have trained people, they do not know how to do well what one demands of them, I will never return to that place, they work very ugly, I do not recommend it.

This place is Awful! For a mani and pedi, with an appointment, it took over 2 and a half hours. They cut me not once, But 2x! I was bleeding uncontrollably. Plus their machines do not dry the powder nails and left them peeling. Do not waste your time or money. You will not be happy in the end.

I have to give this place some love. I really like the way that my nails look. The service was super nice and quick. I liked the guy who did my nails. He was nice. I think I got charged extra for using two different nail polishes, or maybe it was because he had to give me one fake nail. I would just have like to know that first. Also, he put a nice hot towel on my hands, but it looked dirty. Those things were not huge, but I did want to mention that. The prices are standard. $40 for a gel fill. Overall, I was happy.
