What a wonderful dental experience!!! The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The whole time I was there I was made to feel comfortable in my experience. The staff also was great at communicating what they were working on and what to expect in the future. I will be making this my go to dentist. 😁

Dr. Michelle is excellent and has the best bed side manner. Christina who did my cleaning did a fantastic job. I always put off going to the dentist because it is such a painful experience. Not here! I came all the way from Lake Elsinore and it was so worth the drive. Best experience ever! I will definitely make this my permanent dentistry office.

My family has been coming here for about 2 years now and we always great treatment when My kids and I go. They are upfront about treatment plans and don’t pressure unnecessary treatments. They are still excellent at kids dental care. Very clean office and professional staff. Would definitely recommend!

Nice modern office and Polite staff. They are always fast yet I have never felt rushed. Eventhough there is no doors, their rooms do feel pretty private. With covid going on, we have to call them when we are outside so they open for us and once they let us in, they provide us with hand sanitizer and also check our temperature. Theyre careful to keep us distanced from other patients while waiting, although all the times I have visited there is no more than 2 people in the waiting room. So grateful I found this dental office, definitely will recommend.

On February 24th I visited Dental Express and Michelle Hoang was the Dentist and the Dental Assistant Frank assisted along with Operations Manager Johanna. Also the Hygienist Paola was extraordinary!!!!!!! I have been to many of Dentist office and this place TOP THEM ALL AND I CAN BE EXTREMELY PICKY HOWEVER BUT FAIR!!! The entire place was extremely clean and the staff was VERY POLITE AND WARMING!!!! I felt like I was at home. I was cold they supplied a blanket. They had nice music that fit everyone. The Customer Service was Awesome! I would refer them to everyone whos looking for a dentist. That Hygentist Paola went over and beyond and kept asking was I ok and took her time. I didnt feel rushed or didnt feel uncomfortable. Dental assistant took his time with me and explain everything I needed to know with my after care. His tone was soft and polite. I felt like I was at a dentist office that came out of heaven lololol however the only Critique I have is that I felt like there was a laxative in my numbing medicine she gave. After my service I had diarrhea which had to come from the numbing medicine they gave and Also I wasnt comfortable with exiting out the Back door. Thats where blacks had to experience during slavery, but besides that THE PLACE WAS AMAZING. THE BEST I EVER EXPERIENCE. NOT SURE IF ITS A HOAX BUT IF IT WAS THEY DID A PHENOMENAL JOB!!!!

A big THANK YOU to the beautiful hardworking ladies at the downtown san diego office, i got an emergency filling in record time in a tooth that broke. They really take the weight off your shoulders in terms of the fear of the dentist and made it a quick and painless experience that I would recommend to anyone else who has dental needs, and a plus is that they take MEDI-CAL. They do a covid screening before making the appointment and before entering the building and everyone is pretty friendly. Thanks again!

I had such an amazing experience at the Dental Express Santee office for my kiddo, that I tried the Downtown location for myself. The downtown office is equally amazing! Friendly staff, super clean and efficient, no up-selling and just a NICE crew! I even had a family emergency and had to dart out mid-cleaning and they were gracious and understanding, got me in again right away thereafter to finish cleaning and do the filling. Gave them a call and I can say 5* service. I called around 2pm and was scheduled for 3:15pm Same day ! They took x-rays and cleaned my teeth. Also filled what needed. Staff was respectful with a Dentist smile attitude. Really recommend to anyone who needs dental support

You know, dentistry typically is not a service that I have historically just walked into a business and received. But with Dental Express I took a chance. I walked in because I finally got medical,(which they graciously accept)and it had been years since I had a check up. They were fabulous. They got me in right there, made me feel comfortable and didnt just herd me in and out. The dentist took the time to let me know what was what. The people there are warm kind people and I have found my new office. Way to go guys, thank you so much.

Best Dental office Ive EVER gone to. Dr. Michelle was communicative, skillful, and genuine. I had an exam with digital x-rays, two old fill- in repaired, and a wisdom tooth removed all in one scheduled appointment. The office and equiptment is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend the downtown location.

Went there for the first time to have a tooth looked at that was feeling strange and I absolutely loved it. Professional, warm and welcoming. Usually I dont like dentists but they are so friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. The only thing that kept me from giving them a 5 star rating was that they were having trouble with their equipment and I ended up almost getting a shower with the water but it wasnt a big deal. I know that kind of thing is random chance. But I still love them and will definitely go back

I havent been to the dentist in a while but these guys made it so easy and quick. I was 15 min late finding parking and was seen a few min after I signed in. Dr. Chad quickly assessed my issue - filling I got when I was a kid had fallen out - and addressed it. I thought I could go without any numbing but as soon as he noticed I was wincing he offered some quick acting local anesthetic - never felt a thing. He even offered to remove a light stain on one of my front teeth at no additional cost. My teeth were polished and I was out of there within what felt like under an hour.Everyone from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist were pleasant. I will definitely be returning!

Five star reviews must be fake or from friends/family to pump up the overall rating. Dont bother with Dental Express unless you have time and money to waste. The dentist replaced fillings based on sensitivity I was experiencing. I let their office know a few days later that I was still experiencing sensitivity. Called their office again (twice) to make an appointment and left messages both times. No response. Finally emailed, and got an appointment. Okay, so I went back and was told that fillings take a while to kick in. NEVER in my life has a good dentist told me that womp, womp...sometimes these things take time. On top of all this, they couldnt figure out bottom tooth from top tooth. Literally! Wow...like maybe take a refresher grade school course to start if youre having problems distinguishing bottom and top.

I loved the doctor she’s amazing. However they’re account manager is very intimidating. First,they have no payment plans, demand money before anything else happens. Secondly, I felt cornered and uncomfortable when talking with the account manager. She was insensitive, rude and unprofessional. The place itself is nice but I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff is very caring, knowledgeable, and put me at ease. A broken tooth while traveling for work. I know they are going the extra mile to get my smile back to me tomorrow.

DONT THEY GET PAID FOR PARTIAL MY INSURANCE PAYS FOR, AND I CAN CHEW FOOD! PROFITS AREMORE IMPORTANT THAN HELPING ME BE ABLE TOO EAT WITH TEETH, RATHER THANCHEW WITH MY GUMS...ARE THEY BIAS, ANASHAMED TO WORK WITH DENTI-CAL, ANTHEIR CUSTOMERS???ONLY IN AMERICA......PS: I GUESS IM A LOSER FOR HAVING DENTI-CAL INSURANCE!!HAPPY THANKSGIVING..🦃

I just got my teeth cleaned and two cavities filled at the park Blvd location. Great fast and efficient! They used the white filling materials which is great! Great front office staff. Great hygienist and dentist. In and out in an hour. Great work and very nice staff. Clean new and modern office. They take walk ins and sat appointments which is awsome. I got two appointments quickly. No waiting around for multiple appointments which is a super hassle. They have on street parking which is really close by, and they will validate and help you with parking. The only thing negative I can say is the massive amounts of homeless people in the area. It’s a nice area too. But it’s near park Blvd train station and there are aggressive crazy homeless people walking around. It’s the city problem and nothing against most homeless people. Just the ones who don’t help themselves when they can, litter the streets, are violent and disrupt the city. It’s east village near Parco park and the library. Come on mayor Faulkner!! Hurry the eff up and help our homeless! San Diego has THE THIRD LARGEST HOMELESS POPULATION PROBLEM IN THE NATION! The weather is great I get it. Where are the resources? We pay 7.75% in taxes and huge amounts in property taxes. Totally wasteful. I live downtown and hear homeless yelling craziness all hours of the day and night. I don’t feel safe and worry about my car being broken into every night. I live in a normal neighborhood too!Sorry for getting off topic here.... back to the dentist. They are just great! I deeply recommend them. They are well priced and take many insurence too! Fast efficient, clean, friendly, and low cost. The homeless population should not deter you from going in to see them!

If I could give this place NO stars if I could. I went in with a tooth ache and they did nothing for me but take alot if x-rays (to bill Medi-Cal) They say they accept Deti-Cal but once I got in the chair the dentist try to sell me things that Denti-Cal doesnt pay for. They didnt even do anything that Denti-Cal doesnt cover (like fillings) In the end they did absolutely nothing for my tooth ache and I left in more pain (from all the x-rays) than I had when I arrived.If you have Denti-Cal dont waste your time going to this place. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!

After many bad, pain filled dental experiences with many dentists over 30+ years, finally I found Dental Express in Downtown San Diego. Their office is equipped with all fancy, new, up-to-date instruments and technology that I’ve never seen. So pleasantly easy, quick and nearly painless. Seriously, I never knew going to the dentist could be painless. The three Dentists from Dental Express that have taken such great care of me over this year, so well I don’t ever want to go to a different dentist again.
