The absolute WORST PLACE TO LIVE. INFESTED with multiple bugs. Unhealthy living conditions that get over looked. Been complaining and reporting issues from back in December. We have had a flooding problems since Thursday 2pm August 26th, 2021. Here it is Tuesday night August 31st, 2021 and still dealing with the people above us water flooding our bathroom/room. Since it lead into the weekend, we stayed in a hotel until they apparently “ fixed “ the problem. Have yet to send a plumber or importantly fixed the problems ..Do not waste your time here or the Arlington, they are under the same company.

You paying $935 rent for apartment that don’t come with washer and dry connection unless you pay $50 more plus the community look something like you in the projects so it’s no worth it. You have rats and roaches very bad and bad odor outside. It’s not worth at all to pay that much money for something that look bad. They are getting over on people. Those apartments are not worth that much to barely have space. If you looking for a 3bedroom with washer and drier connection go to the hickory apartments by Walmart they are $800 with water included and it’s cleaner to outside . Apartment manager it’s a lot nicer and willing to work with you. Plus the neighbors show a lot of respect. If you choice to live here with kids it’s not safe you better off living on the east side . This is by the worst place to live with kids.

My daughter and grandchildren have only been in these apartments for a few months. The layout of the apartment is the only good thing. Appliances half work. If they are broken they take them out and say they will not be replaced. Roaches, rats, uncut grass, Dead bushes everywhere. Inside has no working electrical outlets. She was told a electrician would need to come in. Sewer lines inside leak and the stinch is disgusting. They have the never to state an Olympic size swimming pool. Really, it is average size that most apartments have and by the way, we have been told it has been broken for at least two years. The gutters are falling off and rotten. No apartment appears to have window screens and the windows do not lock. Lower income housing looks better than this place. To pay almost 900$ a month for this, its very sad that these companies care nothing for human life. Roaches and rats are being treated better here...

I lived here for a year. I found out that the complex changes management frequently. After the first month I recieved a bill for water and waste that I was told was included with rent when I signed my lease. These bills were an extra $50 ish dollars a month. I started getting a receipt when I paid rent because I would get letters left on my door stating that I paid rent late and managment would try to charge me a late fee. I never paid rent late and would have to get statements from my bank to show it. The grounds were rarely tidy, lots of litter and often the grass grew to knee height before it would be cut. When I moved out I gave proper notice, over 2 months. The day I turned in my keys I recieved a call from the office saying they did not have a copy of my move out notice, and wanted me to email them a copy if I had one. I did have a copy and emailed it to them. When I recieved my deposit return letter I was charged almost $400 for not giving a proper move out notice. At that point I was just glad to be out of the complex and was tired of fighting. So many other things that were wrong here but I will leave it at that. I would strongly recommend finding a different apartment complex to fit your needs.

Ive lived on the property for almost 1 1/2 years. I was promised an apartment that would meet my needs by the last few managers....this included the current manager... In fact signing a renewal was put on hold until I transferred into the new apartment... Guess what, even though I was paying a reduced amount and all the other managers knew this and still wanted to help. The current manager stated and I quote you, you can have this apartment but you will have to pay $810.00 because we are going to do updates. Keep in mind this is a two bedroom two bath place that needed to be fixed no matter who least going to move in... previous tenant lived in it for over six months without paying for it. Needless to say the tenant left the apartment in bad shape like doors hanging off, carpet destroyed, and holes around the door. The new manager claims they are going up on all their prices...claiming its home office telling them what to do. I am a veteran who keeps the place very clean, has had no complaints against me, waited for over a year to get certain issues fixed...only fixed so it would pass inspection. I have had a lot of patience since having lived here this long... I know they are trying to stay up with market rent but they should drive around the area before raising the prices. I mean for example...the landscaping not just mowed whenever but on a weekly basis and also well manicured, a working pool and maintained, this is just curb appeal Im talking about. Here is another thing...the inside of the apartments should be looked at in surrounding communities in the area. Those same places have nice updated interiors. Also the maintenance staff needs proper equipment and materials to do necessary repairs...seems like everyone I hear from says the same thing. In fact I paid for a faucet in my kitchen because the other one was constantly leaking and was told they had no faucets in stock along with no money available. The problem seems to be a poor management company. My advice to anyone looking for a place to live, drive elsewhere to compare first before signing a lease here. I myself have begun that process....if Im going to pay their new asking price Im going to take my money to another location where you get your moneys worth. If you want a very very basic apartment then you can consider here as an option... keep in mind, the brochure is misleading, poorly maintained due to no supplies, and now way over priced for what you get.

Moved into my unit in Nov 2018. Initially there were some issues with my unit being available as I had paid a deposit back in July and was expecting to move in Aug. However, after many many calls and miscommunications with some of the office staff, I came to call Silas Creek Apts home. I had read most, if not ALL of the reviews on this property, and while some of them rang true, I have found that many great changes have since been made. The management has changed quite a bit, however, I see the efforts made to improve the property and keep residents happy. My complaint at this time is the fact that we are paying for an apartment complex that is suppose to have a functioning pool and common area for residents and there has been no notification sent out regarding when or if this issue will be resolved. Many of the photos online are of the rental office, please do not expect any of the units to present like those. If my experience coming in and not having a working pool area for residents did not exist I would give at least 4 stars. They are doing a much better job! Thank you Silas Creek Office Staff!

While I have had my issues with Ross Management in the past. I have recently come to respect them. They are doing much needed renovations on the apartments, are willing to listen when you have issues, and actually care about their tenants. If you can get past not being able to pay online, I think youll find that Silas Creek Apartments are a nice affordable place to live.

I would give it no stars if I could. Broken window hasnt been fixed in over 2 months. No communication between residents and office staff. Office staff doesnt seem to know what is going on. Overflowing dumpster in parking lot, EVERY WEEK. Repairs in general take an unreasonable amount of time. The apartment itself is great and the residents are wonderful but the management is awful.

Our air conditioner has been broken for nearly a month now. Every time we call the office to ask when it’s going to be repaired, we get excuses from “our maintenance crew quit with no notice” to “we are still waiting on the part.” There are some days in the 90s here and the apartment is extremely hot during the day, and it seems they don’t even care about their tenants at all, except for collecting the rent of course.Update:I posted this review over a month ago, it is now July, and my air conditioner has still NOT been repaired. So I’m going into my 3rd month without an A/C.

The rent is too high, the apartments are nice though but the rent is too high for a college student. The rent is almost $600 a month, its not worth it. Very disappointed, the maintenance sucks they are slow at fixing things it took them 2 weeks to put my blinds up. They walked in my apartment without my permission. They are very unorganized.

Currently a resident and looking to move somewhere else! Have complained to management multiple times about roach and bedbug problems for months now: they have been bought out so many times that every new company has to set up contracts which takes weeks if not months to even start spraying a little bit, and thats like putting a bandaid on a limb thats been cut off!! The staffs changes so much I cant keep up with who is the manager or staff. Also the pool is always broken and has no chlorine so your basically swimming in a giant bathtub. The laundry room has machines that are serviced by another company that takes up to a week to get them to service them and most of them are out of order, plus the office wont give refunds and doesnt even have change on hand if you need it. The rent is only $50 off of a way nicer apartment right down the road. Plus you rarely ever get someone to pick up the phone when you call the office.

The new management is awful. The staff in the leasing office is rude and unhelpful. We have had several maintenance issues that took them an unreasonable amount of time to fix. It took them two months to fix a broken window during fall/winter. The only got one star because the apartments themselves are nice and I enjoy the neighbors.

I wish I could go lower than a one star rating with this group. To say they were terrible is an understatement. Office staff is extremely rude. They do not care if they treat you poorly. All they want is your money at the beginning of each month. You can go ahead and kiss that deposit goodbye too because they will not give it back. Theyll find some way to make it legal for them to keep your money. Theyre crooks. I would not recommend even my worst enemy to live at this place. Ive tried to think of at least nice thing to say but I honestly do not have anything. By far the worst group Ive rented from. Please, do yourself a favor and do not rent from them. Youll be less stressed and much happier somewhere else. To have a few better places to live, just drive down Ebert. All of those apartment complexs are nicer and have employed a friendly staff. To name a few places better than Silas Creek Apartments - jail, hell, your in-laws, sleeping in an elevator with Ray Rice, sleeping nude at Neverland Ranch while Michael Jackson was still alive, Mordor, the other world in Stranger Things, and many more.

Moved in 12/12/16 Since then dogs peeing above my front door from May til July 2017, water damage, high water bill that was not adjusted to water damage, tendered to new unit end of July but it was rented out After transfer. Receptionist showed me other units that day and I moved in July 28th 2017.New unit air conditioner broken I had to buy fans to stay cool for Summer. Air conditioner fixed Sept. Oct Gas heat doesnt work, still no heat Im currently using electric heaters. Gave manager letter in hand about my living conditions Oct 15 and called city for help. Manager lied and told city I never gave a letter. City faxed them a copy. I want to get out of this lease now because I dont have heat and manager wont governed a letter releasing me. I guess my only hope is to file court papers and go to next city meeting. Very unhappy

Very very nasty run down apartments. Poor management, we have called every week to the office to ask for little work that needs to be done to our apartment. Management was very rude! Took them several days to come fix our sinks, toilets, and etc. I have very small infants and they cant even come outside because surrounding people in the complex just let their dogs poop everywhere and not even care to pick it up. Complained to the management several times still continue to let them do so!! Very disgusting!! My first time EVER living in apartments and I definitely shouldnt have choose these to be the first. I will be glad when my lease is up!!!! This has got to be the worst experience ever 😖
