Ive lived here for 9 plus years, 3 different companies have owned these apartments. Nothing new has been done to them until lately they put in new toilets, I was told that a new paint job was out of the question, but I did get a good deal to resign my lease, but after 9 yes, I would think that along would get me some type of up grades to my unit. Best thing I can say about these apartments are the manger Ms. Tonya she is very fair, understanding and straightforward.

I visited this apartment with my cousin and her boyfriend because they recently began a lease agreement to stay at The Arlington. They have yet to stay a night at this apartment because of the unlivable condition the entire complex is in. Their apartment is infested with roaches to the point where we all needed to use flashlights and watch each step as we went through the rooms. The mangers have gotten a fumigator for the major roach problem but after 2 weeks their apartment is still absolutely disgusting. My cousin and her boyfriend haven’t got to stay a single night in the Arlington because of the condition it is still in. They have spent thousands of dollars on the apartment and on their own methods of getting rid of the roaches, including traps and various chemicals. Also, my cousin has been publicly vocal about the way The Arlington’s management has been treating her and her boyfriend. Management has provided very little communication, support, or tangible help to ease the stress of this disgusting situation. It should be illegal to run an apartment complex that is this unlivable and with management so unhelpful and despicable.

My cousin and her boyfriend signed a lease with this apartment over a month ago and have not been able to move in or stay there one day because the roach problem is so bad. The roaches have taken over the whole apartment and its disgusting. I went over there with them one day and I was scared of being there the whole time, the roaches greeted me at the door and everywhere I looked I saw more, dead and alive. They were crawling all over the walls, piles of dead ones on the floor, there was one swimming in the toilet and even a couple in the bath tub. I kept my flashlight on the whole time and had to be careful every step I took. This was all after they already spent hundreds of dollars of their own money on bug traps, bombs, and sprays, nothing helps. The management is no help either, theyre just trying to charge them more money for a place they havent even been able to live in. This place is so disgusting and needs to be shut down, nobody should have to live like this.

Unethical property. Didn’t let new tenants see property before signing lease only for them to find out it was roach infested and dirty. Now forcing these tenants to pay a break lease fee. Not returning security deposit or first months rent. Shameful.

My friend moved in there & wasn’t able to even see the apartment before signing the lease. Once the lease was signed they let her into the apartment @ there was roaches EVERYWHERE ! I will attach photos . . My friend hasn’t even lived a day in that apartment because of the roaches everywhere and they will not let her out of the lease or fix the roach problem ! This is ridiculous now my friend is stuck in a lease for a roach infested apartment …. DO NOT MOVE IN TO THIS UNPROFESSIONAL ROACH INFESTED PROPERTY ! I’m not even the type to leave reviews but I just had to because The Arlington is doing my friend so wrong and I have heard from a few other people that these apartments are roach infested and management is not very helpful at all!!!

Let my friends move in without telling them the truth about the roach infestation problem. Will not let them out of their lease and has done nothing to help them with the problem. NEVER MOVE HERE

ROACHES. My daughter and her boyfriend have had to move back in with me after losing everything to this complex. So many tenants have come forward after hearing their story and are going through the same situation. These people are being taken advantage of and are being left with nothing. Some units have mold in them and are causing allergic reactions in both the tenants and their pets. This is a very scary and dangerous complex. Protect your families and get these kids outta my house lol

This complex provided an uninhabitable apartment my friends were supposed to be living in, it was roach infested beyond words. They claimed to fix it but did absolutely nothing. My friends have been nomads for a few months and now they’re trying to charge 2grand just to break the lease for a unit they never spent a night in. Do not, by ANY means live here. There are many stories like theirs. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This place actively does not care about their renters. They have not only threatened tenants but also allowed them to live in infested spaces. In addition to this, the spaces themselves are not ascetically pleasing to look at or be in for long periods of time. Several tenants have come forward about lack of urgency from management to address inner apartment damages and faulty appliances.

We recently moved here and so far it has been a great experience. The leasing office was super helpful and very friendly. Maintenance is very nice as well. The residents are welcoming. This place is really dog friendly and our dogs love it.

Apartments are infested with roaches and management is not taking the situation seriously. Have tried multiple attempts to get rid of them but they are everywhere and practically impossible to get rid of. Leasing office does not care about health of residents at all.

Most disgusting apartments Ive ever seen. No one should have to live in these conditions. They take advantage of tenants and will rob you of everything you have and still expect you to deplete your bank account to get out of an apartment you could never stay in to begin with. Unless you have legal help entering into your lease and dont midn the hassle stay far away from these scumlords

It is so dirty and disgusting. The smell when you first walk in is so raw it burns your nose and brought tears to my eyes. I feel so sorry for the people currently living there. The staff are really rude and to use some customer service classes.

Shady business and work practices in order to hit numbers. UNITS ARE INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES, MOLD, and DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS A PERPETUAL PROBLEM DAILY.

Horrible complex all around. Bug infestations, pervasive mold, dysfunctional appliances, misleading communication, and atrocious leasing agreements. Please do yourself a favor and don’t even consider this as a place to call home. Seriously shameful conduct and entirely unlivable conditions.

I highly recommend you change your mind about here and/or The Charleston. Both are under the same company and are BEYOND Disgusting !!! Honestly need to be condemned !!!

My nephews friend is overrun with roaches and had to spend his own money to try to get rid of them and nothing works.

Viewed the apartment complex today and the staff there was Extremely professional and very helpful with making sure all questions were answered. The unit they showed was very nice and very well put together. I am strongly suggesting applying at the property.Thanks for an awesome experience.

Just moved in and rented a renovated apartment and they told us after the fact that we wont have black appliances and so we are freaking paying for a renovated apartment thats not really renovated the counter tops are just extra shined and not professionally painted over. Oh and there are roaches! Big ones and small ones. For what we paying a month its absolutely not worth it. This is ridiculous

I had a wonderful experience touring The Arlington. The lady who gave me a tour was really nice the apartment my friends and I toured was really nice. She was very attentive to our needs and was really helpful.

Hello,M niece moved into the apartments as a college student. she absolutely loved the are and convenience to the highway. when we came in to visit we were not disappointed. The staff is amazing. I would highly recommend the property.

We’ve paid over $2,000 in rent, move-in, admin, and pet fees just for them to move us into a roach infested apartment AND REFUSE to let us out of our lease unless we pay another $1700. We did not spend a single night there. Please stay away from these.

Property manager not keeping the residence safe at the back next to the play ground any individual can walked on and off the property carrying out any criminal activity without management being aware. The property is not fenced anyone can drive from the neighboring community to commit crimes without entering from the entrance. Not a safe environment

I was rooting for these apartments but its Infested with straight Roaches!! Now I can say the staff are awesome they are nice and so sweet maintenance have been there fast I have no issues with that its just the roaches I cant handle!

Staying here for about a year all I found was inconvenience after inconvenience. Neighbors loud at night, walking outside for about 2 weeks strait steppin in glass, the amount of bugs are INSANE, you walk outside and either your getting flipped off by a car for walking outside, or you just get hit by the car. And because there making a new apartment there not even caring about the other people. Definitely do not recommend staying.

I moved in Chesterfield almost 10 years ago. Loved it. Management was great. Mantience was great. 2 years ago Lynd took over and it turned awful. Mantience still as good as they can with what they have. Landscaping is not kept up. I ended up paying someone to mow my area. We had to trim the bushes...they got as high as the balcony on the second floor. Havent had a pool in two years. When you have a complaint you are told to call corporate. Unsafe neighbors.

Rented an apartment here in 2016. Fulfilled lease and was never late with rent. However, its been over 6 months and the deposit refund has NOT been refunded. Despite several attempts to contact them, I have not gotten ANY information as to why or whether a refund is still forthcoming.UPDATE 07/10/18: Its been about a year since that review and I still have NOT received ANY information about the deposit refund. At this point, I dont expect this establishment to address this inequity. Very wrong.

Landscaping issues, roaches everywhere, litter everywhere, no open pool like they advertised, rude neighbors, ghetto and unsafe just overall a terrible place to live. The owners are careless and so are the people who live here, it’s toxic af. I wouldn’t even recommend my worst enemy to live here it’s so horrible.

Ive lived in Chesterfield for going on 4 years and Ive finally decided to move. My overall experience here has been good. Not too many horrible experiences. A few things I will point out are that maintenance (depending on the person) is really low at getting something fixed or careless of the fact that it needs to be fixed. You have to call multiple times until the actually issue is resolved. The parking isnt the greatest. Theres alot of people with multiple vehicles or people who dont live at the complex who take up most of the parking spots. You have to either walk from the bottom of the parking lot to the top or from the office to your unit if youre not quick about getting a spot (especially at night). Pest control isnt the greatest. My last few instances my unit was sprayed and literally 2 weeks later I had bugs in my apartment. When it snows, theres absolutely no shoveling or salt being put down to assist in it melting. Residents themselves have to find their way out. Maintenance wont do it!! Since being here, this complex has been under new management three times. Last summer the pool didnt open at all, nor was it cleaned. It was left dirty and green for everyone to see. Theres a lot of children in this area and no playground or area for them to play in. This ja something that should be considered. In the 4 years Ive been here my rent has only gone up $18, which is great! I do think theyre a little pricey for new residents. Other than what I stated the property is pretty decent. It could be alot worse, but it could also be alot better!
