So apparently they dont like to do haircuts on women. I brought my son in last month and he got a cut and they were very nice, but when I went in and asked for a cut I was left to wait for 30 minutes and then walked out. Nobody ever said a word. Very disappointed.

Terrible. Tried to royally screw over a friend and has no sense of customer service at all even when its their mistake. Dont bother. You could have reception forget to sign you in then try to reschedule you for 2pm without your knowledge while saying shell get you in the first chair available, then try and charge you for two no show fees.

Both my husband and son go to Studio 904, and they always get great cuts here. My husband also likes to get his beard trimmed and shaved. I always take my son to get a haircut from Nik. I can’t find a barber anywhere else that can do clean line work like he does. Every time my son gets a haircut from Nik, he always gets compliments. I highly recommend Nik and Studio 904. Make sure to schedule an online appointment in advance, as they do get busy on the weekends.

I had a bad day, to die a loss of a friends. and I mistreated some of the staff at this establishment. I was wrong. I was quick to react and I wrote a bad review. This Group of Barbers have been some of the best I’ve dealt with. Great people.

Wasnt the best haircut Ive had. Decent fade but honestly not the haircut I wanted. Barber didnt seem interested in talking or asking questions just cutting, which I dont mind but dont go cutting everything off when I asked for the same style just cleaned up. Like I said not a bad haircut just not what I wanted.

I started going to this Barbershop, then they made changes to so that you HAVE to book your appointment online and you can only book it by paying for your haircut upon booking. I refuse to pay for a service before the service has been provided. I talked to Mo (one of the barbers there) and he said they do that so that if you miss your appointment or are late, you lose your money. This is starting to seem like more of a hustle than a professional place of business. I vocalized how I didnt feel comfortable paying for a service before it was provided and he replied by saying he didnt want to do business with me. Maybe other people are comfortable giving their money out like that but I am not and their attitude when confronted about it was trashy and unprofessional to say the least. I dont recommend this place to anyone anymore.

Studio 904 delivers! I walked in without an appointment and was given a seat right away. Jaafar finished my cut in 20 minutes and it my best haircut in years! Their prices are similar to Hair Cuttery/Sports Clips, but the quality is so much better! The care and diligence taken are worth twice the money. Thanks!

Called for a haircut at 3:19 pm. They told me they close at 4:00 but come down if I can make it by 3:30. Walked up to the locked door at 3:28 and they told me they were closed. Barber wouldn’t come to the door until I showed him my phone. He said someone came in before me so too bad!

This place is full of the best barbers in town! I always go to Ali to have my hair cut and I leave looking sharp every time. Im always treated with the best service, the prices are fantastic, and the atmosphere is chill without being intimidating (as a young woman this is important to me). This is hands down the best barbershop in Jacksonville. Studio 904 was recommended to me by a friend and I am so happy I gave them a chance. Everyone on the staff is kind, friendly, and social. I dont write reviews that often but this place deserves some recognition. Mohamed is a real expert in his craft. Not only does he do a fantastic job, but if you talk to him about cutting hair or hair products, he really knows his stuff! I am so excited to have found Studio 904 and look forward to my next cut! Keep doing great work. Customers like me appreciate all of the small things that make visiting your barbershop such an excellent experience.

Great place for mens hair cuts. My barber retired after going there over 30 years and have tried many shops around town and never getting a good clean cut. They knocked it out of the park. Mohamed was fantastic, I told him to cut my hair shorter for summer and to do whatever he thought looked good. I was hesitant at first at his choice but after a lot of positive feedback I must say I’m glad I chose this barber. And I’m very greatful to him for the style of haircut and thorough job he did. Just moved to Florida in August of 2018 and have been to several places for a haircut. Studio 904 is hands down the best place I’ve found. Not just in Florida, but anywhere. You can’t beat $20 for a great haircut. Plus they have complimentary beer. That’s just an added bonus. I will only go to Studio 904 for now on.

This is definitely the place to go. My Husband and son go here every time. Barbers take their time, know what you what and remember you the next time. Walk in are always welcome of course but we always call ahead for appointments so we are in and out in no time. Even for a walk in the staff is quick to assist. I went here for the 1st time, and the barber that cut my did a good job. Ive been to 4 different barbershop over the past couple months and so far this might be my new regular place.

My first time hear today, I was a walk-in and waited a total of 60 seconds to be seated. I sat in the chair, and the experience began to happen right in front of my eyes. The barber looked at my head like Michel Angelo did at marble. I can tell he knew exactly what he was doing. First, the sides were cut off then the fade started after that “clean” all I could do was wittiness the magic. To my surprise he hit up my eyebrows that had never happened to me before then he lined me up “another first”. I walked out of this barber shop feeling like a new man I will definitely be coming back to enjoy a haircut again.

Worst haircut I’ve gotten!!!! This dude butchered my hair and couldn’t even skin fade properly. I paid $30 for me to have to come home and fix my own hair, it’s just really unfortunate Because the barber shop itself is super clean and has a good aroma....

Every barber does a great job and takes their time on the cut. They take appointments and walk ins, and the receptionist offers you a cold drink while you wait. Hard to find a great barbershop, and this is definitely one.

After searching for a new place to get my haircut, I found Studio 904 Barber Shop. I was able to book and pay for my appointnent online, which was awesome. Its nice to be able to walk in for your appointment, get your haircut, and then leave without having to get out your wallet. I booked my first appointment with Nik, and he is such a nice guy and easy to talk to so theres no awkward conversation and easily gave me the best haircut Ive gotten in a longtime. Ive now been returning for about 3 months and still continue to get an amazing haircut. Thanks Nik!

Very disappointed. Went in Sunday (10/6) for a haircut. Not the best experience. It becomes my turn and Im asked to have a seat in the chair.Except the seat still had the plastic sheet from the last person including that persons hair. I sit on the edge of the seat and finally dude gets the hint and removes the plastic and takes a hair dryer to blow away the hair. Not a great start.I then tell him what I want including directions to take half off my sideburns. He seems confused by the request. I understand that English is not his first language but still. After trying to explain, finally the barber next to me tells the guy hes asking you to trim his sideburns to half the length.Thank you Miss barber. But apparently when he said he understood, he actually didnt. Towards the end I can tell hes sculpting around my sideburns which seems odd since I want them trimmed to half. I point this out and he said I thought you wanted the thickness trimmed. Well we finally work out what I wanted.I could ignore all of the above, Im not a unreasonable person but this next bit is why Im posting.So hes finishing up with the back and is using a straight razor all over the back of my neck. Im no stranger to this; had it done many times.But for the rest of the day, the back of my neck is burning. It feels like its cut. I just chalk it up to razor burn which I dont typically get. Next morning the back of my neck is red and inflamed. And as of writing this review still is. Whatever it is its not razor burn.I didnt get a hot towel like they are supposed to do. If I had Im sure it would have stung, letting me know something wasnt right. I mean I did pay $25 for the special cut and I tipped $5 on top of that all online before I even got there. So yea, a hot towel might have either alerted me something was wrong or prevented whatever the hell he did to the back of my neck.My best guess is this, he didnt clean the straight razor from the last person. I noticed there was that clear plastic they uses for chemicals applied to the hair. Im thinking the razor was the same and he didnt clean it. At least I hope its something chemical and not just something I picked up from the last guy.So now I have this red neck I keep applying aloe to. It literally looks like I have hives. So no Im not a happy camper. Pictures of the damage are posted below.

Took my 13 yr old son in today, because we read it was under new ownership since our last weird experience at this location. He got Bear who looked at the picture we brought, listened to our problems with his previous haircuts and then went to work. He was meticulous and took his time. My son loves his haircut for the first time in a long time. I only went 4 stars, because I think the price was a tad high for a barber.

A proper barbershop. Straight razors, etc.I always ask for Ali, but all the barbers are serious about their craft.My brother told me about it. I sent my boys. This is the kind of shop you tell your friends and family about.

This is hopefully a temporary rating. Ive had two great experiences and cuts here in the past. However, Ive also had to not so great moments. The sign and website says that they close at 7pm. However, I have come here twice prior to 7pm (between 6:30 and 6:45pm), and they were closed. They were standing around talking, waiting for 7pm. They said that their last cut is at 6:30pm. This is very misleading. If they stop cutting hair at 6:30pm or take your last cut at 6:30pm, they you are closed at 6:30pm not 7pm. The shop should change their hours to reflex that they close at 6:30pm. Therefore, customer dont think they can come in up until 7pm.

Went online at their website and received a 50% discount coupon, went in, showed my discount coupon and asked for a shave and haircut. A person called Ali I think, did my haircut and shave. Apparently the guy was extremely upset by me coming in with a discount, so He proceed to do the haircut with a rude attitude. At the time for payment, the guy did not wanted to honor the discount and gave me a full bill of $30, and came with an excuse that it was only for online appointments and not walk in, so another guy named Nik came over and said they had to honor the discount and charged me $15, either way I gave Ali a 20% tip, so I got charged total $21. So Ali got an even worst attitude against Nik, asking who is going to pay him the balance for the discount, all this this in front of me, the balance was only $15....... So I went ahead and put on the counter the $15 cash that Ali was asking....I dont need this bad attitude on a friday afternoon... Long story short, nice place, but avoid at all cost the guy named Ali, you are better of with Nik

Great price and excellent haircut

Went here in Oct. for haircut told the guy what I wanted, appeared like he understood. Asked for a fade on the sides and back and just clean up the the top. He procceded to clipper my whole head. Took it down from 2 inches down to 1/2 inch on top. Then he goes to work trimming around the face with the straight razor by my sideburns, something didnt feel right but first time at the barber with the straight razor. Well something wasnt right this dude cut me about 4 or 5 times. The haircut can be understood, miscommunication. But dont expect to get cut. What a dissapointment.Trans. Posted 11/07 to my card, but I think it was the 5th. I was a walk in, girl at the front said they were closing early because someone called out. Guy that cut my hair didnt say a whole lot. Dont know his name, but it was a guy with dreads. I didnt care that he used the razor, just that I had all these small cuts that burned. Not what you think is going to happen when you go to get your hair cut.
