Great spot, very clean and professional. I usually get a pedicure and gel manicure and they both last at least 2 weeks. They do a hot stone massage with every pedicure and feels great! Ask for Abby, she’s very good and quick.
Excellent and fast service on very short notice. Squeaky clean, small venue. Owner/Manager on site very involved and committed to excellence. If I lived here, this is where I would always go for mani-pedis!
Venus is the absolute best nail place that I have found in DC. The salon is super clean (even before COVID) and they take extra precautions to keep things ultra safe. I also love that they provide a choice of great smelling, safely packaged scents for pedicures. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
This is one of my favorite nail salon in DC! I believe they are from Mongolia. I’m a regular customer here since my first accident walk in experience couple years ago when I was going back home from work! Very polite and professional Technicians. This place is clean and organized for DC standards! They take their times to do your nails to the best as possible and if anything like accidents happen and you get cheap on your nails they will fix it for free which is a great perks. I come here normally for regular pedicure and gel manicures. Regular pedicure comes with hot stone massage and then followed by hot towel! But the gel manicure only comes with regular massages follow but hot towel only! You always can add a little bit of the automatic chair massage when you getting your pedicure as well! Their chairs are pretty comfortable and the massage feels really good. Maya did my pedicure today and Moon did my Manicure. I am very happy with my results. Bring some cash with you since cash preferred for tips as usual like other places but they also accept credit card for tips as well! It’s always busy with people you can always get appointment in advance. I also noticed men do their nails cut and clean here as well! Definitely recommend this place!
Quality nail salon! Ester took her time on my moms nails. Very detailed! the owner was very accommodating since we had a last min change to our trip to dc. They make sure everything is clean from the time you enter to the time you leave.
Very clean, friendly, and always try to accommodate for last minute appointments and walk ins. Haku and Bella are perfectionists and do excellent work. I love that they use hot stones on all pedicures and how reasonable their prices are. Highly recommend!!
Got a simple manicure and under arm wax came out to like 35 dollars and the fact that they wanted me to pay before hand I felt was disrespectful and rude mind you I’m a 30 year old black woman, the woman next to me a older white woman he didn’t make her do the same so yes this situation rubbed me the wrong way. I didn’t give them any criticism in person I just kept my mouth closed so I decided to just write a review so everyone who goes there will peep how they operate with certain people. Just to be specific it’s the male I believe he’s the one in charge, the lady who actually did the services was very kind.
This shop is located a short distance from my residence. They also do good work!Do I recommend this business? Of course I do.You can even say I sent you!
Im always the most extra and request multiple colors! They always accommodate and do an absolutely wonderful job. No better gels in DC especially with such good prices and everyone is always sweet and nice!
I was late for my appointment but they still honored my reservation. Haku did a wonderful job on my pedi. my polish came out so nice. I was in there for about an hour I got the gel pedi with clay mask and hot stone Im so relaxed. I couldnt have asked for a better treatment. I paid $50 for my gel pedi but I received a full on spa service.
I really like this place— Uni gives me a perfect gel manicure every time and it doesn’t chip until 2-3 weeks after I get it done. Also, it’s got to be one of the best pedicures I’ve had in DC- the exfoliation, massage and hot stones are wonderful!
Nothing fancy, but has massage chairs and they rub your legs with hit rocks if you get a pedicure. They definitely took the time to assure your polish isnt going to smear. Walked in without an appointment and it was no wait. One thing that was odd was that my mom got her feet shaved and I didnt - maybe they just thought hers needed it more!
I have been a customer for many years, and while I usually call ahead, it seems easy to walk in for an an appointment here. Plus its only a 10-minute walk from Foggy Bottom or Farragut North Metro stops. The staff is always professional and nice, and the facilities are super clean. Plus the regular pedicure LASTS!
Great pedicure for great price!
The service here is not good and the pricing is high. I have silk nail and I wanted to remove them. They quoted me 25 dollars to remove. At my regular nail place a removal is 10 and a fill is 30. There is no way removal should cost 25 dollars.
Spur of the moment pedis with my daughter. Massage chairs and a nice foot/lower leg massage with house special pedi. Relaxing and a nice treat. Good service.
I was assigned this staff that totally has no clue what Pedicure is, she barely scrubbed my feet, and before I could even settle down, she is done . She then painted my nails and they look like they are just growing out from the paint, you could see the gaps from the line of my nail. Trust me, you can even do better job yourself than wasting time and money here.
My nail tech was very nice but brand new and ended up burning my toes with the gel remover. I told her it was burning my skin around the nails but she didnt know what to do and just left the remover on (it was soaked into some pads that were left to rest on my nails). It was my first time having gel polish removed and I didnt know if the burning was normal so I just waited. My toes were red and tender for a couple of days after the pedicure unfortunately. The shop also only accepts cash tips and I was not made aware of this until after I paid for the service - I was looking for a tip line to sign and the owner said I would have to run my card again with an additional fee.
Great little neighborhood salon. Perfect place to get your nails done between work and a dinner date!
They provided great customer service. I would definitely go back there on my next trip to DC
I had shellac polish redone. The esthetician was very professional in her work, paying close attention to detail and meticulous when removing and applying the polish. Unlike other salons, none of the key shellac steps were missed. They even provide a nice forearm massage at the end of the session. Note that you can only tip in cash but pay for services by card.
Its ok I guess. Havent had a chance ti compare with other DC nailbars. Had a quick gel manicure and my hubby likes it so lets see.
Found another favorite nail tech. Place is nail. Everyone friendly!
They fit me in for a mani pedi on my lunch hour and were able to have one women doing my toes and one on my nails so I could get back to work faster. They did a wonderful job!
Only charged $15 for a signature manicure compared to other places in the area that charge $20+. Great location, nice ambiance and wonderful service! Definitely would recommend.
I was a walk in. I was greeted immediately.I had a gel mani and pediVery efficient and my nails look greatYou wont be dissapointed
Employees are friendly. Enjoyed!
Jane was my technician. She did a great job. The facility is clean and well kept.
A+ super fast expert pedicure, serene venue. #1 in nw!
This place charges extra 5 dollars for gel removal in addition to their $35 gel manicure fee making a gel manicure $40. This is $13 more than Mimosa in Dupont. NO WAY.
No wait with appointment, specials during the week. Great Place! Friendly staff!
Very nice,accommodating and consistently good.
Worst waxing experience I’ve ever had
This place charges $60 for a simple gel fill-in!!! No sir!!!
The salon is clean and comfortable but the mani was shoddy.
Terrible customer service the people that work here are so rude...also waited for a half hour with an appointment...
Total rip off
