Linda Curante was my tax professional for two years now and she is just the sweetest, and nicest person to do it. She takes her time to make you feel welcomed and explains everything thoroughly! Definitely go to her!

Linda in the Selden NY office made our first experience with H&R Block a very pleasant experience. Linda explained everything clearly and professionally and took the time to answer all of our questions.

Well this year i chose to do the drop off. I dropped it off on a Friday did not get a call to at least say that he has it and will be starting it. I called my self and the front desk or whoever answers the phone has the worst attitude. She takes my info and says she will call back, a couple of days go by and no call . I call again and the same thing they take my info and say they will call me back. no call . i call again another day and they say the something, this time they call back and say that it is done and i can come in and sign. what i dnt understand is i did not get any call to ask any questions, i honestly dont know if he did it CORRECT. How is it when i am in person there ARE 100 questions but now that i dropped it off there was none. i wont be coming back !!

I showed up for what I thought was an in person appointment since the website through which I made the appointment did not say otherwise. When I show up the less- than- polite receptionist said it was drop off service only - which I was never told previously. I had questions to ask about completing my tax forms, etc. and if I was just going to fill out forms I could easily have done so using the app. I understand that we are in the midst of a pandemic but there are many other businesses conducting in person appointments and many safety precautions that can be put in place for this office to be able to safely help customers. This office is completely useless without in person service. I will never use H&R Block for my taxes in the future.

I will never use H&R Block again. Very unhelpful - reps take more than a day to respond and respond with generic unhelpful answers. Never received my money from my tax return and they are useless through the process - returns say they are approved on their site - taxes were completed months ago. Just get generic answers every week from a new rep. Very bad tax service - do not recommend this headache for anyone - never had a problem using turbo tax!

Left paper work in am on the 13th now I cant get in touch with anyone. No contact Drop of service had me in tiny front office filling out paper work with 6 other people when I commented about this employee laughed and said yeah like a wireless doorbell you have to plug in. I found no humor in this its false advertising

The location I took my taxes to ; refused to review my taxes with me. When I called back following a message, i was told that someone would call me back and they did not. After 2 days I went up to the location in Selden and was told they were there all year long and that someone named Albert would call. this did not happen. I then was asked to pay 198.00 for a tax return that was never discussed with me . It is absolutely insane. The person who called Richard and then some other person never returned my call or arranged to follow up with me per my taxes.

I went to h&r block after 3 years,, out of desperation because I needed money, I make less than $10,000 a year, and the new guy charged me $285 and ripped me off,, I spoke to the manager and told him my concern he apologized and told me he would send me a check for $100 because it was too much money that I was charged,its a month later and I have not received the check I will never go there again they took advantage of me, I dont own a house or a business or anything and I was charged an outrageous amount of money, when I went there I had a coupon for 20% off and offering me their new lower prices, ridiculous, and a complete lie

Filed 2 years in a row. Tried to get a copy of my previous year filed and had to call for over two weeks straight to try and get someone to help. Gave me the run around on the phone each time and NEVER returned my calls or answered messages. When they did fax a copy over, it was the wrong year and I ended up having to go to another office and wasting more time. I ended up using LegalZoom as they answered my call immediately and walked me through what I needed done.
